Amazing service!!! I have a few dietary allergies so when I go out it is always a hassle. However, the chef Simeon was extremely helpful here and we were able to figure out a number of things I could have. If I could, I would give 11/10!

Was so disappointed. It was very expensive and there wasn’t a lot of variety of food. And the food that they DID have was disgusting. French toast was hard and cold. Yogurt had a weird skin on top of it from sitting out so long. Pancakes tasted odd. Scrambled eggs were cold. Sausage was fine but too spicy for kids. Honestly the only thing my kids ended up eating much of was a bowl full of plain Cheerios! $32 for plain Cheerios and orange juice!! Ugh!! If you want a great breakfast, go to Mr. Pancake!

You're in the Dells, so expect to splurge a little. If money is tight, I'd go elsewhere, but if you brought extra and want a nice meal, I really enjoyed this buffet! Food was great, desserts were excellent, and the waiter was extremely friendly!

The absolute best buffet I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot with my family of 5! We had the breakfast buffet. There was something for everyone with a large variety of things to choose from. The bins in the warmers were smaller than those I usually see at buffet's, so they were constantly making more to keep everything fresh as well as the staff that closely watch over the dishes. I was very surprised by some of the selections that were offered. There was not one thing that my family got that they didn't like. Unfortunately they were not open for dinner while I visited, but I hope they will be for our next trip!

This is a buffet restaurant inside the resort. Good buffet food - our table only tried one thing we didn't like, and they had a good variety/selection. Buffet was $25 per adult. PS. Google incorrectly listed them as closed on the Tuesday we went.

Our family of four had dinner here last night. It had the potential to be good but they were out of the items we most wanted (NY Steak -prime rib, several desserts, rice to go with the Mongolian beef, and numerous other items). We had to wait at the carved meat station for someone to come out from the back as well. When I asked the staff about them replenishing the steak, I was told it would be 30 minutes...which is unacceptable for a buffet. I went to the front to mention to the hostess and they brought the head chef out to give me the excuses as to why they were out of so many things. He also advised me of the wait for the items we were seeking, and I replied with “we chose a buffet to avoid waiting so our children could get back to the water park”. No consideration was offered and we had paid $75 for the four of us to eat. I did not request consideration but I shouldn’t have to. This place does enough business to properly replenish their buffet and/or offer consideration when substandard service occurs.

If you are at Kalahari and considering where to go to eat, go to Great Karoo. It's worth it. When we were deciding on dinner, we opted for the Brew Pub. We paid way too much money for bad steak and odd appetizers. When it came time for breakfast, we changed course and went to the Great Karoo buffet. At first blush, it seemed a bit expensive. But it was well worth it! The food was amazing and they had every conceivable kind of food. My children are still talking about the fact that they had delicious, fresh cut prime rib for breakfast! They had stuffed French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, eggs Benedict, you name it! The service was phenomenal and they had a ton of food that appealed to kids (with smaller buffet stations so they could reach!). Our drinks were refreshed regularly and they constantly brought us new plates so we could try all of the delicious brunch offerings. I highly recommend this establishment!

Was really disappointed with small selection of food as well as the quality. It tasted like nothing was homemade. The only thing that was decent was the carved meat, which was very small portions, and the pizza, especially for $28 per plate. (This was the Christmas Eve dinner, not sure what the price normally is.) I have been to pricier buffets that we’re well worth it, but I felt this buffet was really only worth $10 per plate, if that.

Really good buffet with high quality food. Yeah, it's expensive ($24 per adult as of 3/12/18), but pretty everything in The Dells is. The carved meats are really good, as is the cheese board. I went in wanting to focus on the more fancy foods like the fresh-carved N.Y. Strip, au jus, shrimp ravioli, and fresh-baked bread, but was surprised at how good the cheeseburger sliders were. The more kid-friendly section includes things like chicken tenders, tater tots, cheesy broccoli, mini corn dogs, pizza, and the sliders. All of that was actually surprisingly good. The selection of food isn't really wide, but the quality is quite good. The desserts are outstanding. I recommend all of the chocolate desserts, but the best, in my opinion, was the flourless chocolate cake. I generally dislike paying much more than $15 per person when I eat out, but I would actually do this again. The service and atmosphere were also outstanding! Great buffet!

We go to the breakfast buffet whenever we come to Kalahari. It costs about $50 for the three of us, but the food is amazing, and as someone with Celiac disease, it's great to be able to go to a buffet without getting sick. We come as soon as they open.

SOOO very disappointed in this buffet! We haven't been in a year and the buffet has changed for the worse !! The quality of food is AWFUL. Prime rib and turkey very tough, make your own pasta bar and Asian food and ice cream is GONE. A few garbage items like watery Mac n cheese, corn dogs, pizza and box mashed potatoes makes for a pathetic selection and quality . We paid $73 for 3. It isn't worth $5 a person . Will never be back . The Service was good but food awful .

Went here for breakfast and it’s the worst food I ever had at a buffet the eggs we’re nasty, they serve frozen pancakes and French toast which are hard and cold and the bacon wasn’t cooked all the way and the list goes on. So don’t waste your money going here it’s not worth the $$$ that they charge.
