Ok here we go first they do not even have any dock on the lake so boating up dining is off the table which would of been so nice but we still choose to drive there from time to time. The food can be great or it can be terrible problem is I don't know what changes so i just take a 50/50 chance every time even brunch has the same curse. Now lets get to service ,waitress seemed to think we were a burden last time we were there and it took almost a hour to get food i don't like being rushed but i also don't like being forgotten. Oh and it was a Thursday and was not busy at all and a very simple. Enjoy your visit hope you get the good 50 percent.

Great view, wonderful deck for outside dining. Service once we were seated was well paced. But we had reservations for 630 and didn't get seated until after 7. No room in the bar to sit. Our meals were brought out on a tray, but sat for several minutes before we were served. Mashed potatoes very dry. We've had better experiences...maybe it was just an off night.

Waited more than an hour to get our food after we we're seated. Our server came back to our table once during that time. When I said something to the waitres, she snapped at us. I finally complain to the owner and she made sure she got it fixed, and it got fixed fast. The owner was mad on our behalf. Once the owner got involved and the amount of care she gave us to try to fix our night out, I would say this is an isolated incident.Because how the owner handled it, I would like to try it again and see how it improved.

It's hard not to love eating at a resteraunt on a beautiful lake during sunset. We came here with about 20 guests, and the service was excellent. However, there was only one vegetarian option on the menu and that was disappointing. The pasta was good and I could tell it was homemade, but I like to have choices. Everything else was great and I would recommend it to meat eater who want a fancy experience.

We called at 6pm on a Saturday and got a reservation for 7pm. The restaurant was very busy so it was a bit noisey but the rest was superb . The food , service, and price for what got excellent. Once you blend in you forget about the noise. Best prime rib and wedge salad I've had in a long time. My wife's tenderloin stroganoff was outstanding as was the spinach and artichoke dip.

We went for the first time last night for our New Year Eve dinner. Very impressive. The menu was fantastic and the appetizer buffet was so wonderful. Everything was cooked perfectly. And Heather our server was AWSOME and sweet. The only bad thing was the lower lights that were above the tables were dusty and the crystals were very dirty. I checked the ones by the restrooms that were on the wall to see if that's the way they are and I could get the dirtiness off. Other than that everything was perfect. Will be back.

Never Again. Arrived 5 minutes late for 7:00 PM reservation. Waited 45 minutes for a table because "we're a little behind". Waited another 30 minutes for service then 75 more without entrees which never came. Apparently our order was "lost". We're given an appetizer NOT of our choosing attempting solace for bad service then offered dessert WITHOUT ever receiving our food even though tables arriving after us were being served. Total disaster. We walked out. So much for our attempt to kickoff our Father's Day celebration AND 35th wedding anniversary a day early. No choice but to leave (hungry). They also ran out of their so-called "special" (prime rib) before we even got there. Some special. This was our second visit. There won't be a third. With the various dining options available in this area you're better off going elsewhere.

Our first time here! We loved it. Such a nice place. It took a little bit to get our 6:30 reservation table but only about 15 minutes so it was ok. Food was fabulous. Hubby had beef Strogenoff and I had the seafood Casserole. Food came out quick and hot. Will definitely go back. Our waitress, Melissa, was phenomenal!!

One of the best places around. Quality of food, staff, atmosphere...all top notch. We visit a couple times a month and can't say enough good things. Hate seeing the negative reviews as I would hate for them to deter someone from experiencing this establishment. I guess it just goes to prove that some people aren't happy no matter what. The "all you can eat" crab legs on Wednesday nights and the Sunday brunch are exceptional.

We will not be back. Used to love this place. We were rushed to our table and rushed out. We were there for a special family event. Really not a good place to go for anything special. If you just want to eat and hurry out then fine. But the food was mediocre and too salty. The prime rib had some kind of sauce, tasted a bit like tenderizer. The lamb chop was awful tasting. The string beans and potatoes were good. Really disappointing! Too expensive not to enjoy! Location is very nice on the lake. The patio has a dead tree and partially dead hanging plants. What’s going on?? Are these new owners? I could go on but I’ve said enough. Anyway not going back!

Copper Dock is one of my favorite Supper Club type restaurants in Waukesha County. My Husband and I have been going there for years (it used to be called Anderson's) mainly to celebrate our Anniversary but have gone with large groups at times and never have we been disappointed! The restaurant sits on a beautiful view of Friess Lake , the waiting/bar area is small so I would make a reservation or call ahead, definitely on the weekend! I usually order steak(excellent and large portions) but know others love the Walleye, Ribs and Prime Rib. There are Specials each night, drinks are moderately priced(at this post 2 Steak dinners sides included, 3 drinks, 2 desserts and 25% tip cost us approximately $130)I highly recommend you giving it a try.

I would not go back. It's not cheap, 19.95 for brunch, and the food left much to be desired. The hot food was not kept hot and the food was not labeled so if you had food allergies, you may not have known what you were eating. The waitstaff, however was very nice and efficient.

My husband had prime rib, our friends the stuffed chicken and filet. It was all great. Hostess, bartenders and wait staff all very friendly and helpful and drinks and food timely.The owners are there working hard. It's worth the extra drive.

The service staff was attentive but not intrusive. The food was expertly prepared and and attractively presented. I highly recommend The Copper Dock. It is a dining experience for a special occasion. Or, just treat yourself.

Relaxing , food good but ribs used a barbecue sauce that had cumin in it. The seafood pasta alfredo sauce was runny, the scrambled eggs were dry and tasteless. The eggs Benedict was very good. Green beans were excellent along with salads. Carved meats were very good, desserts were better than other places that serve desserts. Usually others are not even eatable . The Pop Overs were a great surprise .

Amazon food. We have been there multiple times. each time the food has been amazing. We had the all you can eat crab, And for their friday fish. The wait to be seated can be long. But that's because everyone know the quality of food and serve they have. Completely worth the wait. Highly recommend

Food is just okay. We waited while our waitress served a table of 20 people by herself, and our food was barely warm. We called a week ahead for a reservation, and asked for a table by the window overlooking the lake, but when the large group came in ahead of us, we didn't get our table. Waitress was very apologetic, but it didn't make the food any better. If you want to visit a historical spot, it is pretty neat, they have old pictures hanging in the bar area, but as far as a good restaurant goes, it left me feeling disappointed. Three stars is generous.

Great view of Lake. Waitress' service was slower than other restaurants. Stuffed Pork Chop was over-cooked and had an acidic/vinegar taste. Prices for entre's we're slightly high. Every meal was smothered with green beans that still had stems on the ends. Salads were very nice. We may return for a Sunday Brunch, which looks very good.

Today I attempted to call and cancel my Mother's Day Reservation because my mom had changed her mind about wanting to go out. The owner answered "Hello, Copper Dock". Me, "Hello, I am calling because I would like to call and cancel my brunch reservation for this Sunday." (FYI it's Thursday now) Owner, "Are you serious?" Me, taken aback I giggled and said, "Yes...." Owner, "Do you realize I've turned away like 500 people for brunch and now you wanna cancel?" Me...giggling because I am in shock at how this man is speaking to me... Owner, "What's so funny" very rudely. Me "Well you're just being very hostile and I'm not sure why?" Owner then hung up the phone. I called back a second time, he let it go to voicemail up until I was about to leave a message, and then he picked up the phone, and hung it up again so I couldn't leave one.... I called back a third time, and he answered and said, "Can you please hold?" I said, "sure". I was on hold for 4 min before hanging up again. He clearly was leaving me on hold on purpose... I called a 4th time, a 5th time, and a 6th time.... no answer. I eventually was able to leave a message. I hope that someone is able to help me out because the restaurant has my credit card information on file for when I originally made the reservation....and they will charge me if I don't give at least 24 hours notice... I have NEVER in my life been treated this horribly by any employee EVER. I, nor my family will be back to the Copper Dock.

Tried for Sun brunch. Called at 11 to check seating and were told they had noon opening. Arrived and was seated by 12:10 which was fine. Best to call ahead and make reservations. Breakfast items: Bacon was good and pieces varied from just done to crisp. Sausage was good but a little cold. Eggs Benny was outstanding with yolks still a little runny and good hollandaise sauce. Quiche looked good but I didn't try. French Toast was soft and cinnamoney. Freshly made glazed doughnunts. Omelette table as well. Lunch items: Nice salad bar including spinach and hot bacon dressing. The green beans were just awesome and had that garden fresh tooth feel. Taters were just baked and cubed but were nice compliment to other items. Fish was crisp and tender. Ribs were perfectly done but a little cold in the pan. Chilli mac penne and bowtie chicken alfrado pastas both really good. Carving station with 3 different meats. The chicken livers were crisp fried in a gravy. Desserts included what appeared to be homemade fruit and pecan pies; some still warm. Bars and some premade items as well. Staff very friendly and kept buffet well stocked. Very nice lake views from dining room. Put this place in your docket for a great brunch.

Outstanding server. Has a lovely view of Freis Lake with patio in warm weather! Entrees all pretty much $25-29. You do get soup or salad (I recommend the spinach salad), rolls, fresh vegetable, and starch (I recommend mushroom risotto) included. They said all desserts homemade and the red velvet cake was the best I ever had! Nice large bar to hang out while waiting for a table. I think they do a lot of large groups, mostly tables of 6 or more.

First time here! We went for the fish fry. The all-you-can-eat battered cod was delicious. The batter was very light and did not overpower the fish. Our meal came out nice and hot. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The dining room overlooks Friess Lake. We will definitely be back. I've heard the Sunday brunch is very good.

I've enjoyed a few dinners here. The atmosphere is lovely and the views are amazing. Interestingly, when you go to brunch here you see the place in a different light ... literally. In the daylight, you see how dirty it is in the dining room. My heels were sinking into the squishy carpet while I waited for my freshly made omelet. I looked down and saw the blackish grey carpet, which is a nice tan shade with a colorful ring design close to the wall and corners. When I sat down to enjoy my food I noticed catchup and other unidentified things stuck on the wall next to our table. The sunlight bouncing off the lake struck the glass covering a beautiful image of Holy Hill in just the right way to see dried liquid streams and smudges of something on the bottom half of the print. The cloth covering our table had pepper and other food particles from the previous diners. I guess they forgot to change it before seating us. I noticed a couple with a baby enjoying brunch. The baby was in one of those car carriers that snap into a base. They had it firmly perched on one of those wooden highchairs turned upside down .. genius, a perfect fit! Unfortunately, when they left, the bus staff turned it up right side up, they didn't wipe the now top part that was on the aforementioned nasty carpeting. This means the next wee folk sitting in there gets the pleasure of enjoying the nasty bits from the carpet on their hands and eventually food they eat. I can't eat here ever again. It was so filthy in the dining room I was afraid to think about how the kitchen, where the public can't see, might look. Not the place for me anymore.

The service was very slow, but this gave me time to look around. The light fixtures hanging above the tables were filthy and disgusting. Tip is added to the check by the very slow staff! This place needs a good cleaning, scared to think what the kitchen looks like!

Wow we wanted to go for Crab legs but not here anymore. Their website says $32.95. I called to ask what it included. Then I confirmed price. He said no we charge $35.99. I asked if he honored their website price and Owner Tim said no he won't. Then he says they are booked till after 8:30pm anyways. I asked why he won't honor their own price. He said he didn't care and he said go somewhere else if you don't like it. While I would have paid the extra he was a complete jerk and rude about it!! I have heard this from many people lately who used to go here all the time.

The owner of Copper Dock went above and beyond customer service. We received a phone call that our daughter was in a car accident while at brunch at the Copper Dock. The owner Heather covered our meal and sent her prayers that our daughter be ok. We cannot Express enough her generosity and compassion. One of the great Supper Clubs in Southeastern Wisconsin. Sunday Special Fried Chicken was fantastic! Add the Mushroom Risotto which is especially good. Excellent server Tim was very informative of the menu and chefs specialties. Overlooking beautiful Freiss Lake.

Great supper club with nice view of the lake. The Friday, all you can eat Cod fish fry was great. A nice compliment was the bountiful salad bar with two soups, several pasta salads and hot bacon salad dressing - wow! Excellent service. Good job.

Need more waitress' on busy nights. Food was good, but the waitress we had was so pressed between a table of 20 and our 5 that she was literally throwing our dishes at us. My soup was all over the rim and spilled over filling the plate it was on. Took forever for drinks that were wrong...not the bartender's fault. Then the drinks were given to the wrong people at our table. I am a waitress and make every customer feel important...this was not that experience. Won't be back...service is everything, even if the food is good or not.

Was shopping nearby, stopped here on a whim and could not have been more pleasantly surprised! Delicious food. Highly recommend the macadamia nut crusted walleye. Wish this was closer to our home!

I love the grouper. I eat it every time we go. My daughter had a steak and said it was the best she ever had. It looked great and was cooked perfectly. I would have tried it, but she didn't want to share.

Had the Friday night fish fry. Cod was cold on plate and perch was processed from Sysco and not fresh. Potato pancakes are the worst ever. Flat, dry and zero flavor. Do they ever taste their food? Willing to show how to cook cuz I like the location.

Hmm what can I say we were seated by the owner Tim, he had a very bubbly happy personality. We ordered our food, fantastic menu, easy to read. our server Stacy, was very knowledgeable and just a pleasant server in general. We ordered the all you can eat crab, which was some of the most juicy and flavorful crab I have ever had. The mushroom risotto was rich and creamy, and the salad we had was a delightful mixture. For the night I purchased a bottle of wine and the table side service for that was fantastic, great presentation. Fantastic beer and wine list. We definitely got our money's worth and was stuffed full. When I called over the owner and let him know this was our first time there, and that his wait staff was phenomenal. He was genuinely pleased and was briming with pride. will definitely be returning for future birthdays and events.
