Friday night buffet! This is all the crab you can eat. Not split opened, not salty, not soggy, but whole crab legs, that crack just right. The prime rib is delicious, and it's cooked the way you like it. There's such a huge variety of really good food. The staff is very attentive, and friendly. Its a great place to gather with adult family and friends. Note: Children aren't allow. If you get caught in a long line, don't leave, it's worth the wait!

Worst buffet I've ever been to. First time there was a sat night around 5 and was supposed ro be a prime rib night. After taking our money and seating our party of four we made our way to the buffet only to find out they are out if prime rib. The next time I was talked into trying it again we had oue minor son with was and was turned away at the door by security and rold minors were not allowed at the buffet. What a joke. This place also has a bad stinch.will never go back.

My husband and I thought we would treat ourselves to the buffet for our 25 wedding anniversary. The food was terrible. Dried out, very basic food. We went on a Saturday night thinking a lot of people would be there. Well we should have taken that as a sign. The sign said, meat, meat, meat! There was only one piece of meat like a prime rib, that was all. Very very disappointed.

Very clean a lot of food but it is too expensive. They charge as if you are eating four full dinners off of a menu. Not very many people will eat $40-$50+ anywhere. For this high of price a family of 4 can buy 10 lbs of Ribeye and all the fixings and invite family over and have plenty. Casinos use to be cheap to eat at because they want to keep you there to gamble. These people are just all out crooked. Besides Golden coral is under $16 with tip.

I always love the all you can eat crab legs at potto. If you love crab legs, go on Wednesday or Fridays. They are very big for being snow crab legs. The only issue I have is that there are so many other delicious choices that it's hard to focus on just crab legs.

The buffet was awful. There were 2 food stations closed. No cheese curds, olives,cole slaw,potato salad. No tacos or other Mexican food. Hardly any pizzas either. Desert station in sad condition also.. got our money but selection of food AWFUL!!!!!

It isn't Vegas. You'll find enough average tasting food to fill you. Nice servers. Probably a bit pricey for the quality...unless you consider the vast amounts of food that gets wasted because folks load up multiple plates for no good reason other than they can...and they sample it. To the people who keep whining about the "smoke" smell...it probably isn't the smoke you smell Its a foul smelling scent they pipe thru the casino. It clings to your clothes and hair. It is awful. I have complained. No one cares. Only casino I have ever been in that does this and I have been to many. .

The wait times are understandably long on a Friday night but the host staff makes it much worse. Seating staff is incompetent and unprofessional. I patiently waited in line 30 minutes and then 10 minutes at the front of the line after I paid. I was then asked to sit down to "wait for my silverware" as I watched other people behind me be seated. At 10 minutes to closing time, I overhead the seating staff informing incoming guests that the buffet would be closing at 9 pm. Upon making my displeasure known, an visibly annoyed hostess immediately called a manager to "deal" with me instead of apologizing or promptly seating me. Not worth the money. Food is mediocre and service is not great. Go to Golden Coral. They're open until 10.

I have been wanting to try The Buffet at Potowatomi for years now, and finally had a chance to on 08/25/17! We went for the All You Can Eat Crab Legs as that is one of my all-time favorite things in the world, and I was in heaven! I could have sat and eaten a ton of those crab legs, but my friends aren't really into that sort of thing and I also wanted to try other offerings from the buffet. Overall I would say that everything was very good! I will definitely be back as soon as possible for another go at the AYCE Crab Legs!

My server was Kenyatta. Not sure how you spell her name. She was inattentive and very loud. Seemed as though she don't really want to be there. My husband and I ordered a few cocktails and we were never offered any refills which is weird because that's all she really had to do was keep our drinks full and table clean. The food was ok and it wasn't all that busy. Will rather go to the sports bar to keep my drinks full.

We stood in line for 30 mins for the crab leg buffet. About 8:55 pm we were seated. At 9:30 pm they started putting food away. I feel they should keep the buffet open for at least one hour after last person is seated especially when paying over $40 each.

The first couple of time we came, it was delicious, hot and a great variety. Lately though, it's gone downhill and this last time today, we decided not to return. The cheddar biscuits were hard and tasted weird, there was no beef filling for the tacos, no delicious hash brown dishes (just plain hash browns), no Old Bay shrimp, and it was all cold. Even the prime rib tasted like a bargain strip steak. It's really too bad, because we used to love coming. Oh, and the slots are TIGHTER than any other place I've ever been to.

We parked in the structure and had to walk quite a distance to get to the elevator and skywalk. Then, when we walked through the casino to get to the buffet, we were overpowered with smoke smell. We have not smelled smoke for years. Hubby and I went to the buffet on Tuesday (Senior Day) where you get half off ($6.00) with the Firestarters Club card. First we signed up to get a card, then proceeded to the buffet area. It was 11 a.m. and there wasn't too much of a line yet. Once we were seated, the wait staff was very efficient. We checked out all the stations of food and mostly settled for the American station where they had catfish, ham, turkey, etc. The food was quite tasty and I really enjoyed it. But here's the rub: We could still smell smoke and I got a headache from it. Also, so much walking gave me a backache (I have osteopenia) and then there was the noise. This was not a place to relax and linger. I don't think we'll be back.

There should be a fast lane for single individuals that need one seat and a table. This would make serving the people in groups far easier. For the capacity of all guests you should have at least two floors of seating not just one level. Sub par. Get her early or all the time you ll waste in line wont be worth your time or your money

I was disappointed I was expecting a spread like other casino buffets I did love the crab and the prime, I feel that and I hated to say this that Golden Corral has more to offer food wise. I expected the wait times would be long on a Friday night at the crab buffet , but after waiting for over an hour. I was highly disappointed in the buffet itself. Besides the smell... Yes. I know it was seafood night. The food just did not taste good to me. The fried cod was greasy, the baked chicken had an old taste to it. The taco meat served at the Latin buffet was cold. The big let down was the crabs. They were not scrubbed and cleaned before they were steamed and served. There was visible feces on most of the crab which almost killed my appetite. Luckily, prime rib was also being served and it taste pretty good, so the $70 my Husband and I spent did not go to a total waste . It was mediocre and reminded me why I stopped dining at buffets.

Staff is unprofessional and rude. At first they refused to seat us on our friends’ table because we did not come together. Then they insisted that we pay extra just to be seated there. Extra $2 per person for everyone at the table. We did. I guess it was not enough for the security who stayed next to our table for most of the time while we had breakfast. And to top it off, he called more security to remind us we had to leave when done with breakfast. Goes without saying, I will never return there, none of us will.

The food sits out with no one really caring about quality or even stirring it, there wasn't even anyone behind the lines to complain to or ask for anything fresh. I cannot believe how bad it was. My Dad and I sat down to eat lunch at 11:15 and it looked like the food was out for hours already. The food was luke warm at best, no flavor at all. They've made the dessert portions even smaller. Complete waste of money, I'd say skip it unless there is the seafood buffet where the food turns over fast enough that it is fresh.

This place is pretty terrible. For starters you have to walk through an insanely smoke filled casino to get to this restaurant. Then once inside the horrible cigarette smell follows you in as there is no walled separation from the smoking section of the casino and the restaurant. The food consist of cold pizza, hard shell "tacos", fried chicken breast cut into three pieces weirdly, cold fishy shrimp, ect. It came out to a little over $60 for two of us (food and soda). To say it wasn't worth the money isn't even fair because I wouldn't eat here again if it was free.

We went to Potawatomi buffet yesterday (Wednesday 5/13/2015) to celebrate a late mother's day because my mom was too sick on Sunday to go out. When it comes to seafood in Milwaukee, there is a limited selection of places to go. We brought our 5 year old nephew with us because it was a family celebration (6 people total). Little did I know, they charge 5 year olds as adults and make no exceptions. Nearly $40 to pay for one 5 year old to eat mac n cheese and 2 slices of pizza! I even offered to go to one of their other restaurants to buy food for the little guy while the adults went to the buffet as long as he could sit with us and eat the food from the other restaurant (the ones on the potow 2nd floor). The general manager was persistent and told us either pay for the 5 year old at full price or don't come in at all! Wow, customer service out the door! I presume this decision is coming from the top down. They also recently raised their buffet prices in general. I barely saw the long lines that I saw in the prior months I've came here. Their seafood was the worst quality I've had. The oysters were old and stale. I woke up the next day feeling nauseated and I rarely get sick. I actually want to call channel 6 and get this broadcasted to a wide of an audience as possible. Potow has a monopoly and they do whatever they want and get away with it. Well, this will be my last time me, my family, and friends step foot in this place.

The food was substandard. The shrimp, fish and other sea food was old, mushy and slimy. The tables were dirty. The staff was slow and rarely available. I just can't describe my disappointment for the price. Ponderosa was more sanitary. For the price I would not recommend.
