This was our 5th visit to this great place. It has become our regular Tuesday road trip stop. They are definitely consistent, the food and service are second to non. Seriously some of the most delicious and beautiful presentations we ever seen! To top it all off, Baylee is the friendliest bartender/server around! Schuggies will not disappoint!

Sat at 2pm, first time. Good food. Poor service. Understaffed. 20 minutes between server checking on us. Update: 2 weeks later owner replied on my service issue. Glad they saw the issue and addressed it! We'll be back to try again.

Stopped in to eat, drink and watch the Badgers. Everyone should stop here at least once, it’s pretty good. Comfortable seating and viewing, but the screen had interference, so I took off 1/4 star. Huge impressive tap menu, see pic. They need a Czech style Pilsner though. Interesting selection of cocktails, with two mango type choices! Waitress was kind and attentive. Tasteful pictures and quotations displayed throughout the establishment. See pic. Shuggy sticks were good. See pic. You’ll be impressed at the food menu, that’s all I’ll say about that. They go off on a tangent with a whole bunch of Mac n Cheese selections! See pic. We had a steak, which was really tender n flavorful, except it was a little too fatty. See pic. The veggies were good but you should swap the sweet potato for green beans, edamame, etc since the meal includes potato already. The salad had a few old looking leaves, so I took off 1/4 star.

Restaurant and Bar. Live Music on weekends posted outside for the year. Seen Rock Godz this weekend was most excellent Rock. Appetizers have a good selection. Had Elsworth Cheese Curds. Many food selections also Pizza, Calzones, Burgers, Steak to name just a few. Had the Build your own burger. 1/2 pound med rare cheddar bacon burger with seasoned waffle fries. Food came on a huge plate. Shared and still had some fries left. Value great and taste to match.

Basic, nothing over the top. Server stopped by once only to drop off the check after the food came along with a loyalty card. There was not a tap beer list available at our table so I had to ask which got the typical bud, miller, coors. I asked if any local beers such a pitchfork and they said I dont think so. Burgers seemed to be pretty bland as they appeared to be frozen patties. This is what I consider basic, nothing over the top and why I would rate 3.

Nice local bar and restaurant. Live bands! Great food. Pizza is good, not pre-made frozen like other places (but mine had too much flour on the bottom). Extensive menu with gluten-free options, too. Full bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean establishment. Clean restrooms. Nice dance floor and a stage for bands. Bar and dining area separate. Free parking. Close enough to the Cities. Live bands with no cover charge.

Stopped by late on a Sunday for some supper and a few drinks. Food was excellent and by that standard alone I will be back to try more. Had the lobster mac and girlfriend had the piggie mac both were delicious. Also had jalapeno poppers which were excellent. Could be hotter though!

I stopped in for a tap beer and ordered a blue moon tap and the bartender gave me a lemon instead of an orange when I approach the the bartender about the issue that blue moon comes with an slice of orange not lemon the bartender told me I was wrong I said I would like another beer but got refused so I will not be back sorry Jeff! I did give it a rating of 5 stars a few weeks ago but.... Tonight was absolutely awful, not a way we enjoyed spending our Father's day dinner night out! First..sign said seat yourself so we did and waited about 10 min. Before someone even noticed us to take our drink orders and give us a menu. Drinks came out and we placed our order. We then waited over an hour for our food. I wasn't served the right fries I ordered, and also not the ranch dressing for my chicken ranch wrap! Waitress said they were out of ranch dressing, seasoned sour cream for my waffle fries and NAPKINS!! I am usually not very picky not hard time please but this was absolutely awful, will never go back here again and would not recommend to anyone.

Stood at the bar for a half an hour trying to get a beer while one of the bartenders ignored me and counted her tips. I'm a 6'2" biker and am not easy to miss. I left without being served. Won't go back.

The boneless wings were one of the best I've ever had. They were thick and meaty, and the Whiskey sauce that I had was awesome. Very friendly staff, I would highly recommend this place.

After all the social media hype or just advertising we tried SCHUGGYS, And we were somewhat disappointed. The meal the three of us had was average at best. Two of us had the prime rib which was flavorless and the server never asked us how we would like it done. The lone bright spot was the old fashion that was ordered and they mentioned it was really good. With other spots in Hammond we will try them out before we go back

I just wish the beer was colder. Tap beer is ok but they use the same glass when you ask for a new beer. The menu is such a nice change from all the other local pubs-they actually have some healthy options. Darin (sp) is a rockstar bartender/server.

My buddy and I were there tonight, brought our boys. Wanted to just unwind in the restaurant, have a couple beers and some food. It was deafening loud, super slow service, and the waiter never picked up our empty glasses, dirty dishes, and forgot our first drink order, never checked on us after we finally got our food, and brought us the bill with no pen and we had to wait to get that from the hostess(which SHE was super nice!). The food was okay, but it was so obnoxiously loud, a wall needs to be in between the bar and restaurant, unless they just want the drunk and loud bar crowd which is what was there when we finally left.

This place is what a bar should be. Great live music, awesome staff, and good bar food. Can't go wrong with their rotation of good beer and featured cocktails. Not just bud or Miller, but good MN and WI beer. Piggy Mac pizza is our cheat day pizza. Awesome happy hour where you "pick" your price. Bar is big and you never feel crowded even when busy.

Service was meh and i got charged a cover for a band i didnt even know was playing and i didnt want to see only to find out that NOBODY ELSE THERE HAD PAID IT!!! When the bill came i found out that prices on the menu apparently arnt valid after 9pm and they charge upcharges for being there late. I will never be going back and i will tell everybody i know to never go there.

I have eaten here twice, both times were delicious. Lots of unique and taste menu options, all at a reasonable price. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and classy. The wait staff was wonderful and attentive, my waitress even brought my doggy bag out to my car as I had forgotten it at the table!! Wonderful service all around!

None. Horrible. Did not have fish on Fish fry Friday. That is after we all ordered, the waitress comes back 10 minutes later and says they are out of fish. Waited too long for drinks and service. Didn't even offer to take any off the bill.

Had dinner on a Sunday at 5:30pm. Upon entering we saw a sign to seat yourself so we did. After about 5 minutes nobody had waited on us so I went up to unstaffed hostess stand and grabbed some menus. It was about 15 minutes from the time we sat down before anyone came to wait on our table and throughout our meal we were never checked up on. The kicker is that there were only two other tables with customers that we saw so it was frustrating not having prompt service. We ordered the Totchos for an appetizer and they were good, we would order them again. It was around this time that we noticed two things. First, it was quite warm inside, our waitress said the A/C wasn't able to keep up and the thermostat said it was 81 degrees inside. By the end of our meal we both had beads of sweat. Second, all the TVs were playing the DISH network how-to guide on repeat. It is crazy to have four TVs within eyesight and yet not have anything to watch. We were told the power had just gone out and come back on. The major disappointment for us was the Mac and cheese. We came here specifically for their Mac and cheese options. We got the Buffalo chicken Mac and the prime rib Philly mac. Both looked good, but neither had much cheese flavor. For a Wisconsin establishment it was very disappointing to have Mac and cheese that had no cheese flavor. To make matters worse, the Buffalo chicken Mac was supposed to come with blue cheese crumbles and there were none. When we asked about it we were given a small cup of blue cheese dressing... Not crumbles. The side of coleslaw was inedible. Overall it was a pretty miserable experience, the only highlight was the Totchos. Uncomfortable atmosphere, poor service and bad Mac and cheese. We were really looking forward to eating here, but unfortunately it was a big let down.

Owner and staff are nice. This bar has some really great bands that come and preform. Sometimes there are shot girls with premiums to distribute. There’s also slot machines that actually work! Come check this place out!

We went to Schuggy's after reading their raving reviews. We ordered a cheese pizza, boneless wings, mozzarella sticks, and the whiskey chicken sandwich. Lets start with the cheese pizza. The crust we ordered was regular, the crust we received was so thin and flavorless, that I would hate to see what their thin crust had to offer. The cheese was sparsely melted and resembled the powder cheese that one would expect from a cheap, store bought, frozen pizza. The boneless wings were alright, nothing too spectacular, but boneless wings are not very difficult, and are most predominately offered in any common bar. The mozzarella sticks were baked like a French fry...airy on the inside with the cheese hardened at the bottom of one side. Finally, the last ditch effort to save face for this place also didn't pan out. The whiskey chicken sandwich...where to start...the chicken was hard and dried, the bun soggy and mushy, and the sauce gelatinous. Some times things can surprise you, but this time, the food all looked exactly as it tasted...not good. In the end, we threw away 50 dollars worth of food. We will NEVER go back here to eat again.
