Really enjoyed the authentic Italian cuisine. Excellent! Nice environment and friendly staff. Would strongly recommend asking for separate tickets at the outset. I was surprised to learn that their POS system cannot separate a bill. That, however, was the only inconvenience we experienced.

Food offer is traditional and very well executed. The only downside is service, slow and inattentive. It took our waitress 10 minutes for two beers and water was refilled just once. While leaving we found out they were featuring special pastas that day but she didn’t mention them. Pizzas and appetizers were 5 star though.

Came while it was busy on a Saturday night. Found a seat at the bar. Asked immediately if we were in a hurry and we said no. Pizza took almost 45 minutes to come out after we were told it would be 30 and our order came out after others who got there after us. Pizza was good but not that much better than other wood fired pizzas you can get around Milwaukee. At the end of the meal the bar had cleared out and we were ignored by the bartenders and had to get their attention to get our bill. Good food, mediocre service and speed.

Excellent pizza, and what a lovely experience! I ordered a pizza for carry-out and was invited to sit at the bar, asked if I would like a drink while they brought out my order, and was genuinely welcomed to town by the bartender as well as encouraged to return during my stay. The pizza is authentic, with a thin middle and nice puffy crust. If you’re expecting typical greasy, bready American pizza, you won’t get that.

These pictures are from last year but I remember our encounter vividly. Our server was so attentive and gave great wine recommendations. Literally felt like family when I was here. This is just like Napoli. It is not Roman. Not like anything else. It is not New York Street Food. It is a restaurant so use a fork and knife. Authentic Napolitano, the original pizza, and they do it like in Napoli.

This place has absolutely amazing Neapolitan pizza! After eating here once, I am already day dreaming of going back. The dough was stretchy and delicious, the mozzarella homemade (the best I have ever had), and the sauce and meat combo on my pizza went together so well. We also got to chat with the owner/chef and you could tell he poured his heart and soul into the food, which was apparent by how great everything tasted. If you are looking for average fast food pizza, you will be highly disappointed by this place because it is NOT average pizza, it is Neapolitan. Don't go to a Neapolitan pizza place and then complain that the pizza is soggy and too thin... that is the whole point of Neapolitan pizza, people!

This was an experience more than just a meal. We sat at the pizza bar where we were able to see the pizzas being made and talk to the chef. Waitstaff explained all about Neapolitan pizza. I had the sorrentina pizza which was star-shaped with eggplant and ricotta stuffed crust. It was amazing!

One of the three certified Neapolitan pizza places in the entire state... and it's one of the best. The vibe and atmosphere feel like they were ripped straight from Italy, and their traditional Neopolitan stove actually was. Now, they are expensive, but I find it's well worth the price, not only for the experience, but for the fantastic food. I know I'll be back, very soon.

Definitely the best Neapolitan pizza in the Milwaukee area. The custom built oven makes a huge difference in enhancing the taste and the crust turned out perfectly light and airy. I always like the prosciutto and arugula combo, but my favorite pizza of the night was the special - a star shaped pizza with a crust filled with ricotta cheese. The Nutella calzone was a good option for dessert - just make sure there are plenty of people to share with because it’s huge!

I never had the pleasure of experiencing authentic neapolitan pizza until Visiting San Giorgio. You are certainly in for an experience unlike any other Pizza experience you've had. The service was fantastic with servers expertly educated on what makes napolitan pizza different from your standard pizzeria fare. You get to watch your pizza being handcrafted and placed into the authentic Italian Oven and come out bubbling hot.

This is simply the best Neapolitan pizza in Milwaukee. I have not tried the majority of styles but the Ilario is one of best pizzas I have ever had. The traditional sour dough preparation along with their wood-fired oven creates a crust that you would normally find in Italy not Wisconsin. The sauce, cheese, and toppings are top notch. The food is not cheap, but if you want to treat yourself to real world class pizza then come to San Giorgio's

This is hands down the most delicious pizza in the city. The crust is light and soft, the sauce is flavorful, and then combination of toppings is over the top. If it was realistic, I would eat here every day. I also recommend the burrata. It is fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is cozy. I can't wait to go back.

Clean, upscale atmosphere with friendly service. We intended to split a salad and a pizza but after looking at all the choices on the menu we went for the BPP (pizza Bianca with peppers and prosciutto) and the Carnivore (a special with multiple meats and ricotta stuffed in the crust). Both were amazingly good. The wood-fired oven creates a perfect crust. We will definitely return next time we're in Milwaukee.

Of the pizza places I have eaten at in Milwaukee, San Giorgio is the best. Pizza made the way it's supposed to be, and I would venture to say nothing on the menu would disappoint. My favorite pizza is the Margherita D.O.C. with the Ilario a close second. The Cesare salad is one of the best I've had and to boot they have one of my favorite wines by the glass - Valpolicella - that I hadn't had since Italy. The service is friendly and sitting at the pizza bar is entertaining.

Beautiful restaurant and ambience, scrumptious entrees, and excellent customer service and experience....a truly wonderful place!! We had the pleasure of finding this gem while in town on vacation after attending a Bucks game. It was late and we had some very hungry kids with us. Our waitress greeted us with a smile and found us a quiet place for 8 as we were dining with another family. Despite the fact that it was almost closing time, all of the staff (our waitress, the chef and even the owner) were amazing, never rushed us and were very attentive and super friendly. The waitress had a great sense of humor and was playful with our kids which they really enjoyed. And the food was AMAZING! Thank you for a wonderful end to our fun family night out. Definitely a fan for life!!!!

Dined here on a Weds night. Place was fairly busy at 8pm. Sat at the bar for full service. I ordered a martini and friend had an Italian tap beer. Order the caprese app. So very good though I don't see it on the online menu. Presented directly on baked pizza dough. Kind of like a pre-pizza. For entree I ordered a special pizza of the evening, pizza in the shape of a star, $23 (compared to others the most expensive on the menu). The crust had ricotta baked in to the folded over edge. OMG! SO freaking good. My friend order a margarita. Equally delicious. Worth the trip no matter where in town you are.

Great food in Milwaukee. However it can be hard to find a table a reservation is a must on busy nights. The menu is mainly Pizza however there are several pasta dishes on the Menu of the day. Ask your waiter for information about those.

We were on vacation in Chicago and drove all the way to Milwaukee to have diner at San Giorgio's, and it was well worth the trip. Service was stellar, but the star was the pizza. Their process follows all the golden rules of the art of Neapolitan pizzas; the quality of the pie and its crust are witness to the accurate dough proofing and pulling technique, the toppings are fresh and first rate. There is a fine line between a good and a bad Neapolitan pizza, but great chef Gino Fazzari offers the best at San Giorgio's and we were glad to discover it.

I discovered San Giorgio pizzeria looking around on Google maps. Decided to go there since all the reviews were really good. I got there (party of 2) on a Friday night at 8.00 pm and there was no waiting time. Two seats were available right away at the bar. The pizza is excellent, the staff is great and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Prices are very affordable too. I highly suggest to stop by this pizza place. The owner is a really nice guy and always ready to talk with his customers. Make sure you get a real espresso after a real Italian pizza! I will definitely stop by during my next trip to Milwaukee.

We ordered the sausage / mushroom pizza (I forget the name). The sausage full of fennel. The tomatoes fresh. The cheese melty. The garlic, well garlicky. So good. The oven cooks at ~900° F so it only takes minutes to cook a pizza. Awesome in its simplicity. Flavorful in its ease. The quick bake adds so much flavor to the crust, it could be eaten with no toppings. It may looked charred, but it's not burned.
