Great ambience and staff were very friendly and courteous. The rolls were well-made for chippewa. I liked that they did not throw in too much rice and short you on the fish. Definitely would stop by again if I were in this part of town. Wait time for food is on the longer side but not too unbearable.

Ok, remember where you are.... so fresh sushi might be a stretch. My salmon rolls had a tinge of that freezer burn taste to it. Gyoza were very good and light but tasty. The heavily battered tempura came with some weird dipping sauce that was most definitely not the usual tentsuyu sauce you'd expect. The udon soups looked and smelled amazing. I'm not really feeling this place, and can't give it more than 3 stars. Maybe a second time there will change that... the restaurant is very nice and service was really good. There is a lot of parking available.

Ordered carryout. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. I got there about 35 minutes after ordering and was told that the sushi rice wasn't ready yet. All together my sushi and salad and one appetizer took 52 minutes. I got home and there wasn't any soy sauce in the bag and the hot appetizer was cold. One of the sushi rolls was not presented nicely and was incredibly sloppy, but the other was good. May try them again, but not as a carry out option. Definitely would be nervous to go back again during my lunch break!

All I can say is yummy . So many delicious picks to choose from. Eveny kids love it. Good service. I love the lobster tempura roll . The beef teriyaki bento box has some of the most succulent steak.my kids love the chicken kids habachi one likes the noodles and the other likes the rice.so far my favorite thing is the volcano roll and no it's not as spicy as it sounds. It is a taste bud awakener for sure so many delicious flavors. I would highly recommend trying here

WONDERFUL food. I am not a fan of nori so eating sushi has never been an option, but they have soy wraps and I was so happy. The menu is extensive and the service is great. This is the place to go for Japanese cuisine.

Quality food, reasonable selection, but it takes a minute for sushi items, especially when busy. Definitely go when you're not in a hurry. It's always been worth the wait though.

We were there on a very busy night. Service was slow, but they apologized for that. The food was good when we finally got it. Unfortunately I haven't been back since that one time. I suppose for Wisconsin sushi it is probably pretty good.

Fabulous. The chef knew how to prepare authentic sushi. The staff was friendly and capable. I have been disappointed with the variety of world cuisine in the greater Eau Claire area - Sakura is the light in the darkness. Full marks in every category.

Took a long time to get our drinks we ordered, to order, to receive our food, our bills, & then to pay our bill. Should've been 1-1.5 hrs, took 2.5 & they ran a good card so many times (needed pin) that it closed the card. Plus it was expensive for meh food.

A great place for hibatchi style food. Although they don't cook the food right in front of you like some other Japanese restaurants, you get the same quality and flavor of food without the wait from the grill at your table experience. The service was very good. The outside of the building does not look like much, it used to be a Wendy's that was not well kept, they have have done a great job with the inside. Overall a nice experience, good selection of food and they do offer some kid friendly meals.

Great Japanese food! Recommend the streak hibachi and Godzilla sushi roll. Removed one star because there is no show with the hibachi. Highly recommend for quality Japanese cuisine.

What a great Surprise! Fantastic food, great service, exceptional quality! I shared Honey for Two, a fantastic hibachi entree with lobster, shrimp, steak and chicken, vegetables and fried rice! Yum, Yum, Yum! Others had sushi, they loved it!! My first visit to this newer CF restaurant! Really nice feel, excellent karma!! Quaint little bar, excellent for date night!!

Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Food has been great every time, even the takeout, and always fresh. I had always wanted to try sushi but am really picky about what's in it and how old it is. The variety is great here and comes by the piece, the roll, or the platter. Totally worth a visit.

My very first time eating sushi and it was an AMAZING experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Even made me a sake margherita! The mermaid roll was absolutely magnificent and I even got the courage to try the sweet shrimp!!! Will definitely be back.

I'd give them no stars if I could. Service horrible. Made reservations 5 days advance and waited 20 minutes with no one waiting on us. Walked out and they thanked us for coming.....wow! Clearly not aware and disorganized. We have ate there before with slow service. Will not be back in the future.

We go there often. But the last time we were there, we waited 40+ minutes for our food. I didn't mind so much because it was lunch and they were busy. But then we saw a couple walk in, order sushi as their appetizer and got it right away. Here we were waiting for 40+ minutes for our sushi and someone walks in and gets it right away. Since then we haven't returned as I'm still not too happy about it.

I went with my brother around 7 on a Friday night. Did not have to wait long for a table, and were promptly waited on. Once we ordered, our food took a while to reach us, and came out at separate times. The waitress apologised for the long wait and offered a dessert on the house. Definitely not a quick bite kind of place but the staff was amazing, and the food was very good. Will definitely eat here again.

Best place to eat in Chippewa falls. The outside is way different than the inside. Looks like old fast food place on outside. Go inside your in Vegas. Great sushi and sashimi. You wont be disappointed.

We ended up waiting for our food for almost an hour but they were very accommodating. They gave us a free appetizer and each of us two free drinks for waiting. Our sushi was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised!
