I don't know if they were having a bad night but my experience wasn't so good. I would say my favorite thing I had was the sangria, it was delicious. But the food was horrible. The mac n cheese was dry and it looked like it was scraped off the bottom of the pot. The boom boom shrimp was ok and the corn was good. May need more control on the food before it leaves the kitchen.

Great service but very loud (people’s conversation not music). Got the rib eye (14oz cut) and was disappointed. Very thin and fatty cut for $24 The bill was $67 for my entree and a salmon entree, one beer and a soda. Maybe I’ll try a week night (quieter) and a burger

Came into have a date with my fiance and left without even getting drinks. Bartenders didn't even look at us, neither of us look our age, and heard multiple comments from people at the bar about "some kids" walking in and laughing. Didn't stay to hear much more. Also had groups of people walking in front of us in line to try to get a table.

My boyfriend had been wanting to take me here for awhile now. The waiter was friendly and there was good service. The food was amazing. I had the shrimp scampi and the flavors were wonderful. The sauce had explosive flavors and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. A lot of placed tend to overcook the shrimp so I was very happy when they weren't dry. The chef diffidently knows his flavors and spices, so happy with the dish. My boyfriend got the farmhouse burger, it was tasty with lots of delicious meat on it (and cooked how he asked). The fries were a little salty for my liking but next time I'd just order them without salt. They had a unique way of making fried pickles, they actually looked like fries. I don't recall the appetizer sampler we got but everything seemed homemade and was delicious. We couldn't pass up dessert and we were pleasantly surprised with a fresh homemade apple tarte with a scoop of ice cream and we also ordered the bread pudding. Both were flavor packed, fresh, and delicious. We will diffidently be back.

First two time I would say it was amazing. Great atmosphere. But this last time I spent over $100 on date night only to get my steak over done and under seasoned. Under seasoned is not an opinion it is a statement, it was horrible. The waitress asked if I wanted her to take it back. I said sure give it a shot. It came out with dry seasons in it not cooked into the meat. It was a waste of money. The only day to go for steak is Saturday otherwise save your money. They ended up making a whole new steak that was rubber. If you have to add salt and pepper to your steak, something is wrong. Not to mention the au jus tasted like gravy water. It was a horrible experience.

My wife and children all surprised me on my 70th birthday. I thought I was having dinner with my wife, but 4 of my children w/their spouses were there and we had an fantastic evening. The food was very good (as usual) and our waitress did a great job with our table of 10. I would recommend Red Cabin at Green Acres to anyone. The staff is great, very good drinks at the bar, and the owners are very personable. One of my favorite places to eat..............

Went for a Friday night dinner. It was busy, took about an hour to get a table for the 4 of us. But there was pretty easy access to the bar, so we were able to get some drinks and talk. The food was good and came out pretty quickly even with it being so busy.

VERY LOUD in dining room. Poorly run bar, plenty of bartenders just all bunched in one spot, had to wait for drinks. Over an hour wait, for our table, 1 hour 12 minutes actually, I was told our table was next then watched as others were seated. When I questioned this they said your table is ready and then we waited. I again asked and they said our table was ready, then we waited while others were seated. Our waitress was great, the food mediocre, prices were good for the quality of the food. Will not go again....great disappointment.

Website says that they don't take reservations on Fridays. We waited for an hour for a table while other guests were seated when they came in. Bartender told us that they probably had reservations...or called ahead. Either you do or you don't take reservations on Fridays. Left a bad taste in our mouth. Would not wait an hour for a table again.

The price was excessive and the buffet food was barely lukewarm. Perhaps the warmers were not working. I do understand it was extremely busy and staff may not have been able to keep up.
