Great milkshakes. Favorite one is caramel. Make sure to save some room. Food and drinks always come out quick. Staff are very nice. Great ambiance and atmosphere. Its really the only good place to eat in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant at the Hilton down the street has really declined. Also . They have the IMPOSSIBLE Burger. Absolutely fantastic!

I don't write many reviews on Google, but I felt compelled to do so for Point Burger Bar. Visited this past weekend with my kids. The environment, vibe, food and service exceeded my expectations. Service was spot on which was surprise given that it was pretty busy.The specialty burger varieties, shakes and floats were all a hit! I highly recommend checking it out!

Sat down looking for a good burger. Had heard good things on the radio about this place. The server took a long time to come and take our order. Then, brought my burger the exact opposite of how I ordered it. After asking to have made the way I ordered, she checked her book in front of us and began to argue with us. I hadn't even taken a bite because I don't like burgers to look like or taste like leather. She brought a new burger and slammed it on the table with curt "here!" After our meal, I spoke with the manager who covered for her! He didn't do anything to make the situation right! Honestly, this is the worst place I have ever been to!

A Monday night and neither my wife nor I felt like cooking. Honey said, "Hey, how 'bout I treat you to Culver's?" I do not like Culver's. I said, "How 'bout someplace better?" We drove the 20 minutes to Point Burger Bar and it wasn't packed like a Friday or Saturday. The hostess was sweet and gave us a booth that we asked for. Tru, our server, was the best waiter we've had at PBB. Genuine, kind, and not overbearing - he was helpful and there when we needed him. We started with Prime Rib Bites, bacon wrapped prime Rib served with a delectable horseradish dip. Cooked perfectly, they were delicious! My wife had an Angus Build Your Own Burger (BYOB) served with a "side" Caesar salad. Cooked exactly as she asked and served with the Bleu cheese and sliced avocado, she said it was excellent. I tried a bite of her "side" salad (in most restaurants this could be a salad entrée!) and was pleasantly surprised. The dressing was house made and not sweet like some make it. The lettuce was fresh green leaf and added great flavor. Parmesan cheese was added to make a perfect balance between the main three ingredients. I tried, for the first time ever, an Impossible Burger (look it up on the Internet, a vegetarian burger that looks like, tastes like, and has the texture of meat - for real!) in the BYOB category. I added Nueske's bacon (sorry to any vegans), Bleu cheese, truffle mayo (aioli), and sautéed onions on an onion bun. I have to admit it was incredible! I would definitely order it again. I ordered it medium, because Tru said they cook it to order just like my wife had her Angus burger cooked to order. And it looked medium! The taste is awesome. The info said it's some fermented plant-based "heme" that gives it the meat flavor. I would have to research that further. My only complaint was the sour cream chive potato wedges. These tasted just like plain wedges and I couldn't see, let alone taste, any chives. I never mentioned it to Tru. My Point Black Cherry Cream soda was outstanding, not too sweet and refreshing. My wife's Ink berry Shiraz went perfect with her burger and she found it the right balance between dry and medium. You can't beat good tastin' and quality food for a reasonable price on a Monday night!

The food is great, however the service now sucks. My waitress never brought my shake nor my 2 kids drinks with our food, she brought me hot fries to replace my cold ones and I reminded her of our drinks she stated she had to deliver drinks to another table and would be right back.........................? She never came back, you could see her across the room taking orders from another table. I had to get another host to bring our drinks. After my food was almost all gone she came and asked me if I still wanted my shake. The manager was real cool and knocked a lil bit off my bill. Me and my girl go back for lunch 2 days later and my sandwich was made wrong and my girl food tasted funny coincidentally the same boojie waitress from 2days ago is the host so we know they screwed our food up on purpose (my sandwich was made with horseradish on half I wanted none, my girl sandwich had no mayonnaise and a pickle your dog wouldn't eat.

Good food but -2 stars for the poor design of the slanted salad bowls - you will spill your salad everywhere if you even attempt to mix your salad. I mean take a look at this picture. This comes packed to the top... Change bowls or make them smaller so the dressing can be mixed in.

Great food, below average service. Visited twice within 18-hour period (Saturday @ 5 pm, Sunday @ 11 am), food entrees tried ranged from "pretty good" to "best ever." Service both times had issues with menu knowledge, attentiveness, and speed of service. Really want to love this place. Wait staff making it hard.

If you're looking for a "good" burger this is definitely the place. First time at this place with our 2 year old twins and although it's definitely not that kid friendly but we were able to make do in the booths and they were distracted by all the tvs. Would recommend building your own burger it's the best in my opinion where you get your money's worth and you can have whatever you like on your burger. Their kids menu isn't bad neither your standard chicken nuggets, burger/cheeseburger, MAC & cheese, with your side options, drink, and a cookie. Bonus is that the food the kids meal comes in is actually a frisbee so remember to take that home! Love their milkshakes (got a strawberry milkshake) but for some reason can never finish it. Love how you can just select your options for building your burger makes ordering food SO MUCH EASIER!! Tbh why can't all places do this where you can just write down your order and the server can just pick it up in my opinion; speeds up and clarifies ordering.

Place is great, atmosphere is great. Our waitress not good at all! Gabby asked if we needed menus but also informed us in an annoyed tone bar was closing at 10pm. Kept walking away before we could finish ordering, seemed to pay and serve faster to male customers. At 9:58pm she decided we were done and brought us our bill. If you're here and you're a female avoid Gabby!!!

Possibly the worst food order I have ever received for delivery. I do not think it would be fair to blame the uber eats driver, so the alternative is the restaurant. The fries were soggy and inedible, and the burger was barely cooked to temp and bland. Maybe the experience in the restaurant is good and I should have eaten there, if that is the case then do not use uber eats to order from this restaurant.

Comfortable relaxing place, nice staff although mine couldn't answer about several things she was on top of things. I got a build your own burger with chive wedges. Burger was amazing wedges perfectly cooked and perfect flavor. I also got shamrock alcoholic shake, very good. My fiance got the duck burger with wedges and smores shake , tried his burger and shake Very Good. My son got Buffalo chicken wrap, rice, homemade potato chips. I tried rice he and I weren't to interested in it, I don't recommend it however his wrap was very good and awesome chips. He got the non alcoholic orange shake, very happy with it. We also got the prime wrapped in bacon appetizer, I didn't want to share, they were very good. Amazing menu to choose from, wide variety of food to pick from, as well as wide selection of sides. I highly recommend it as a place to definitely go to!!! Whether vegeterian or meat eater both can sit and enjoy as well, not common to have a variety for the non-meat eaters but this is.

Food was ok. Appetizer wings were very cold in the middle. Instead of swapping them out they just heated up the ones we had. Food came out pretty fast. Burgers were not the best quality as advertised or at least it didn't taste like best quality. We were looking for the waitress at times. Overall the food was average. Two appetizers and two burger meals with one margarita was $60. I think its a bit much, there are better dining options but, I guess.

The burgers came fast, and that's about all I can say. The burger patties and fries were lukewarm and dry, and my side of bacon was dry and leathery like beef jerky, as if they'd been under a heat lamp. This was at Noon, so it was doubly disappointing to get lukewarm food. I suspect the fast service is provided by keeping a mass of precooked stuff waiting under a lamp.

My brother and I love going to this Point Burger Bar. The staff is great, always willing to talk and they always have a smile on their faces. My brother and I only sit at the bar so I am not sure about the wait staff in the resturuant portion but I am sire they are just as great. I would definatly recommend going during happy hour(3-6 or 9-12) otherwise bring your checkbook, if you dont know what it is, Google it.

Second time here. Both times we had great service but we were disappointed with the food. Our table of 5 had 3 orders come with only warm burgers and cold fries. 2 orders came hot. The topping options are good but if the food doesn’t come out hot it’s still bad.

Loud atmosphere, but tolerable. Delicious burger (you can build your own), but it ends up being too pricy for the quality ($16 for a similar quality and build to an $8 burger at Oscars on Pierce). Servers tend to be attentive at the beginning (taking order, delivering food), but seem to be absent or forgetful when you need a soda refill or the check. Waited more time to get the check after asking twice than the amount if time it took to get seated, order, and eat our food. Consistent with the last two times I've been here, so I assume it's standard practice, perhaps to drive up bar sales. Food is good though, if you're willing to spend the money.

Arrived around 6 got my food around 730, after waiting for an hour we were told not 1 but 2 party's of 40 "just showed up" and the waitress asked if that's ok, she said it would be like 10 min because they are backed up because of said parties. We had waited that long and my kids were starving so we waited. When our food finally arrived my order was not what I ordered, and my wife's meal was also missing items, her burger was barely warm and my burger was not much better. When the waitress came by to ask how everything was we had already eaten half of our food and we were told because we ate over have the food they would only discount us half of both our ordered. Fine, when we got our bill though they had still billed us for the food we didn't receive. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said she'd take care of it but when I got the new bill it was just $2 cheaper. The bacon I ordered and didn't receive was $2.45! I was so irritated by the entire experience I will never be returning to any point burger bar which really sucks because it would've been a great meal if the staff AND the management handled the incident better.

Ordered food online. The online menu was super easy to use, anyone could do it! Selena was super helpful!!! After picking up the food, I headed back to our hotel. Me and the family were so surprised just how delicious the food really was. There were a couple negative reviews but I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. A great menu to choose from, Selena at the hostess stand is so polite and helpful and then great, amazing food on top of it all. Completely worth every penny! Oh and if you like dessert, you have to order a milk shake... They are so creamy and delectable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was good but out of towners BEWARE!! We chose this for 1) location and 2) its happy hour specials which were 1/2 off drinks. Our bill came and we were very surprised. When asked about the happy hour, we were told it was for the bar only and even though it did not specify on the menu, it was our fault for not reading the small print on the sign by the door. We had a group of 10, our waitperson was great, organized, fun, helpful and attentive. She kept the drinks coming and coordinated apps and soups and dinners. Burgers were awesome (I’m told), the pot pie was great, and my grilled salmon was excellent, well prepared, not over cooked, nice hint of a crust. No one ordered any shakes, they certainly looked good, but we were stuffed. Worth a visit for a casual dinner.

there were three of us at the table. I asked for soup with my burger. I got the burger and had to ask again for the soup and got it afterward , however I was not charged for the soup. The turkey burger called a gobbler was supposed to have avocado on it and did not. They brought me some on the side. I consider this a poor gesture. As it should have been in on the burger. I ordered a second beer and receive totally the wrong beer. The waiter took the beer back telling me he was going to bring me the one I ordered and never came back with a second beer. It was only after I asked him 15 minutes later when he asked how things were that he told me they were out of the year I wanted. You should have come back immediately and told me they didn't have the beer I wanted and did I have another choice in mind. My nephew did not receive his order properly made period as you ordered extra crispy cajun fries and did not receive them. What I did have what tasted quite good but the service and lack of competency is someone inexcusable :-(

As is the case when restaurants reach their end of their initial honeymoon phase, the menu has been “updated” and not for the better. First off, the “build-your-own” burger cards are not accurate (items have changed and you won’t know unless you ask) The buns for the burgers seemed different, not bad, but not as good as before. not impressed I'm visiting staying nearby hotel so I stopped by a lil after 10pm I was informed may not be able to take my order cause kitchen closing soon but sign says 11...after asking me what I wanted I requested a menu I didn't really know what they had ..waiter response was we have burgers.. so o ordered one asked if they had any sides other than fries she lists all different type of fries ..so I just went with sour cream am chives fried..of course when I got my order it was just regular fries even though I was charged an the burger was dry an cooked extremely well done...it seem to have a cool vibe with customers but staff seemed tired an ready to go ..

Between the seemingly limitless choices in both beer and burgers, Point seems to have something for everyone. Choose from several standard to gourmet burgers off the menu or build your own. Choices include Angus, bison, turkey, duck, salmon, veggie and others. The crazy variety continues with buns, sides, toppings and condiments. I don't know how they do it, but they do and they do so with great service. Prices are a little up there, but expected for this type of experience. Plenty of room for large groups, too, including a private party room I've used on several occasions.

OH MY GOSH!!!! BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! You get to dress it and choose the temp! Alana was a phenomenal hostess/bartender for the evening!!! Made me feel right at home! First time at Point Burger Bar . My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Didn't know what to expect. We are new to the area. The inside was very nicely decorated. Lots of TVs inside. We were seated promply. The server was very attentive. He explained the menu to us, which helped us out. The food was okay, nothing to brag about. The price for our lunch was a little bit more than I wanted to pay, but we had a very nice lunch. We will be returning at a later time. I'll probably bring my son and daughter-in-law.

Start with a flight. They have a great beer selection, and there's no better way to get acquainted. The burgers are solid and highly configurable. Go one step up in "doneness" than you might normally. The pastrami sandwich is also pretty good. And tots make a great side. On a Tuesday, it was quiet - a nice place to carry on a conversation. And the service couldn't have been better. They were very fast, courteous, and served exactly what we ordered.

Exceptional Customer Service! As sometimes happens at EVERY restaurant, our original order was messed up and delayed. What makes me rate the 5 stars is the fact that the mistakes were corrected and apologies were made AFTER we had a chance to express every concern. The manager "Jake" went above and beyond and our new waitress made absolutely sure we were happy. This is why we will return. Mistakes happen. How they are dealt with reflects the true nature of the business. The food was absolutely delicious and we'll prepared. You will enjoy your experience at the Point Burger Bar!

I love Point soda. The Vanilla Cream is the best. Period. I wish I could say Sprecher is the best, since they're in Milwaukee. But Point beats them hands down, and they're still a Wisconsin company, so that's good. The mozzarella sticks are the wonton wrapped kind and they're delicious. I love how they have the build your own burger cards. My only criticism is they need to put Gouda on their menu.

I've been to all of the Point locations in the Milwaukee area and never had a problem until I ate at this one. Both my friends order and mine were inaccurate, my burger had things I didn't even ask for on it and what I did order (cheese) wasn't. My friend has a mushroom allergy so he ordered his burger without and it had extra mushrooms. Our waitress Christel looked right at our food and said nothing until I had to point it out then gave a sigh before reluctantly taking it back to the kitchen to have it fixed. I worked in food service for over 6 years and I understand that accidents happen but I honestly felt uncomfortable and won't be returning to this location.

Went in for the brewers playoff game with 12 people. Sign by the door had game day specials. After ordering 4 bloody Mary's for what we thought were $5 turns out brewers playoffs are not a game day special. Not $5, $9 per. Some burgers were cold, dry and not that good. For a $13-15 burger. Much better places for cheaper. Pretty disappointing.

Working nearby, we waited anxiously for this place to open. This neighborhood/area needs more restaurants (and bars)! The wait was worth it. Great burgers, good service, tasty beer selection and alcoholic milkshakes! I've also tried the salads (always fresh and good), although when you order with chicken, it's cold - so if you're expecting grilled/warm chicken, request it. Overall, I definitely recommend!

I went here specifically to try their Impossible Burger, to compare it to the others I've had in Milwaukee, and while theirs is better than Good City Brewing's, it's not as good as Gypsy Burger's. The Point Burger's version was still very good and it beats all other places veggie burger hands down, but it's not the best version in the city. They have a Build Your Own Burger option which lists the Impossible Burger right on the menu, but when you go to fill in your ordering ticket, the Impossible Burger is NOT there. You have to write it in (see my photos). That was odd. But other than that, I really liked this restaurant, they had a good beer selection and the ambience is pleasant, but at one point the juke box music came on really loud drowning out all conversation. A man came over to turn it down, but he didn't turn it down to the level it was before, it was still fairly loud. We had an excellent waitress who gave us great beer recommendations and took care of us very well. I'm so glad to know that the Impossible Burger is making it's way into more and more restaurants here, so this is yet another place I can come to with confidence!

Awesome! I was in WI for 4 days and went there at least once a day since it was next to my hotel. Super beer! Super food! Super staff! I recommend the Adult grilled cheese. So worth it! Not so adult by leaving off the tomato, but the bacon made it fabulous!

Last time I was here I was disappointed with the burger patty itself. This time the shrimp skewers were great with veggies and rice. Great beer selection. Next time I might try a burger again since I do love a good burger.

Recently stopped in with co-workers. We had a large group and our server, Jack, was excellent. He offered samples, knew all the beers, provided quick service and was very friendly. The bar is very open and is a great setting with a lot of drink options and good food.

Fantastic food, great service, fun bar! I stopped in for dinner last night, the burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. I ended staying for a couple of drinks at the bar. The staff was friendly and fun. Would definitely recommend.

I didn’t order a burger. Maybe that was a mistake. But my pastrami sandwich was so disgusting it was all fat. I brought it home and threw it out. My girlfriend has the Tortilla soup and said it was horrible. I won’t be going back.

Great place to get a burger. Food is good. Prepared properly. Some choices of appetizers you don't see elsewhere. Build your own burger is nice. The staff is good and quick. The TVs every couple feet it seems have all your sports on. Music is good and beer is good.

Service was not good, asked for several different things never got any of them. Food was cold and not cooked very well. Kids meal jello didn't come with spoon. Our group was 8 people so they added gratuity. He didn't deserve that much, server would walk by ask how it was and never stop. Not impressed, won't be back.

We went late around 9pm got a table right away wr all had custom burgers they came out in a timely fashion about 15 20 mins wish our waitress would have stopped by the table a few more times but overall good food decent service

We went to the one on state st. It was so good. They have a great veggie sandwich called the earth!! Def recommend for vegetarians!! Cheese curds are great too!! They should bring the burger in a plate instead of the take out box for dine in customers though.

Happy happy hour is a fun time with half price on all tap beers. Appetizers were good .. prefer the pretzel over the cheese curds. Fish fry was good, better a little heavy.

Food was amazing. But the customer service was absolute trash. First of all, I stepped in with a friend. They have a huge menu displayed at the walkway which me friend & I were checking out, just to see if that’s what we wanted to eat. A cook went out his way to come up to us and ask “so are you dining in or what” and then the bartender even came out his way to rudely ask if we were staying to eat or going. The place only had about 2 other customers there so i didn’t really understand what the rush was. But Right away I didn’t even want to purchase food from this establishment because of how rude the staff was already being. It killed my vibe completely. You would think stepping I to any bar or restaurant the atmosphere would be right and the staff would greet you in a friendly manor. Definitely work on how your staff speaks to customers.

Burgers were great, but our waitress was horrible! I believe her name was Celene. We sat down with the group and waited 15 minutes patiently before we got served, which was fine with us. But as soon as she arrived to our table she gave us a bad attitude. In her mean voice, "Hold on, drinks first!" That's the first thing she said to us. Not even a Hello or How are we doing today? When we tried to order our daughter's drink she was rude, she thought we were trying to order from the menu. We looked at the group, and they were like "Yep, she was like that with us as well." After ordering our meal, she demanded that I hand over the menu to her. I don't know what her problem was. The place wasn't even busy at all! Later on, she brought out the wrong orders to us twice. Also, we never received our water until later, I had to remind her. Towards the end, she started acting nice to us because she wanted that tip of course. I looked at some of the other reviews, and this must be the same person they had a bad experience with. How does this person still have a job?!

From 0 to 10 the food was an 8 the service was excellent they even make milk shakes which I felt was great for an family day out. The ale was fantastic. I was disappointed about the wine how it was served in a half glass 5 oz. Per glass I like a wine glass at least 8 to 10 oz. Better serviced as a beer bar for me. Other than that nice experience will go back for a beer an burger for sure.

Loved it. I oredered a duck burger , my wife had the beef, the latter was delicious. Duck Wasn't bad or anything, just felt a little off on a burger, specially with the build I chose so it might be on me. The shakes were great, and we had a mountain of onion strings as appetizer. Will definitely go back.
