I have been there over 10 times. They have incredibly dedicated staff who show love and compassion towards each and every customer. The buffet is excellent with plenty of options. The food is always fresh and to this day I have not had an experience less than great.

Price was ok but it was so hot I had to go outside just to cool down a bit. The male server was a bit slow bit when the female server came in she was great. Selection wasn't very much and was not cooked very well. Won't be going back again. Next time will be Hong Kong Buffet in Neenah. Much better food there.

My only complaint is that the dessert area is not of the same quality as the rest of the food, but the other food more than makes up for that. I'm quite happy skipping desert in favor of the other dishes available. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Chinese buffet. P.S. they also have some really good sushi.

Great price and really good food for it. There are more extensive buffets out there but they cost at least double. The staff is super nice and they even have fresh sushi rolls. Unlike other places, Min Du's take out is reasonably priced.

What a disappointment. I can’t believe the rating is high as it is. The quality of the food sucks- can they add anymore chemicals and MSG? Very unhealthy. There was 1 orange slice in a large pan. They are so cheap they barely refill many items as early as 6pm and it goes until 9pm. And when they do it’s small portions at a time. They have somewhat of an underlying attitude masked with loud friendliness and smiles by the female employee. In this type of situation she talks over you and does not practice good listening skills. when you bring these things to their attention. The dinner buffet it a cheap price. You definitely get what you pay for. I’d rather have less items on the buffet with better quality and charge more. I’ve been to many Chinese buffets in different cities and this one by far took the cake.

Hit and miss. It's always either stocked and delicious, or they are out of everything. You never know what you're going to get, but I take my chances mainly for the crab rangoons. Stay away from the sushi unless you want to get sick.

There is nothing exceptionally interesting about this restaurant that would leap to mind when describing it to others, except for the woman who usually greets and seats you. She is a marvel to behold and it's worth visiting this place just once to experience her hospitality. Bet you don't leave without at least one high-five. What I will say though is that the food is typically hot, there's a wide assortment and its usually quite tasty. There is plenty of room in the restaurant, the patrons are friendly and the price for the lunch buffet is very reasonable indeed. All in all I gave it 5 stars for the food and the hostess!

Best Chinese buffet, best kept secret, only thing they need to change back is the lo mein noodles they use spaghetti noodles now, but for the price it can’t be beat, the place is family ran so if you waste food you can tell they get irritated even if it’s not fresh.. But owell I’ll keep going, best chicken on a stick and crab Rangoon's in the valley..

I have been a regular at Min Du for around 10 years. I always receive good service; it's a family operation so you see the same employees each visit and they always greet you with enthusiasm. Limited buffet compared to others in the area; great if you like "hole in the wall" places versus large, crowded restaurants. Dark, quiet atmosphere.

Decent if you eat there. Ordering delivery has not worked well and we've given them many chances. Very skimpy with meat in combos. Please make extra spicy is apparently not an option or they just can't comprehend. One time we ordered, waited 20 mins before they called and said that their driver left... Always seem to be out of something. They are incredibly friendly...

First off. I've been going here since last summer, and I'll keep going back. Customer service thru waitress/ hostess/ busser all in one and she's super chipper and gives it a happy and energetic atmosphere. No booths. Smaller tables. But food is fresh, hot, and always refilled when it starts to get low. I give it 5 for the plus of sushi bar as well as how interactive and happy the customer service is.

I LOVE coming to this buffet. The food is actually really good, and the price is unbeatable. My favorite part though is one of the servers. She is an older woman of Asian descent, and she's always in such a chipper mood and very upbeat. She ends every meal with a high five and says "see you tomorrow!"

PThis place is the smallest buffet I had ever been to. It only has 7 to 8 dishes to choose from, but most of the dishes are vegetables, no meat. They aren't serving fry chicken eventhough chicken are very cheap. Foods taste terrible. After first plate, I didn't want to get second plate because there are nothing to eat. I don't know why this place gets a 4 and a half stars. It's not worth the price I paid. Wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Went during lunch hours so there wasn't that many options left (the buffet because they also have a menu you can order off) it also took a while for the foods to be replaced. some foods didn't taste that fresh like the terryaki chicken - the meat tastes burnt but the sauce was good. general tso's chicken was really good. lady was nice and helpful. probably won't be getting much of the buffet items but maybe items from the menu next time.

I've literally never been disappointed, the food is so fresh and delicious and often they will throw in a free order of dumplings or donuts with my carry out order. Before they up the prices, I was giving a high rating. Now they up the charge, yet don't offer more selection and/or fresh food to compensate. Best times to go is during lunch time between the hours of 11am-12pm and dinner rush 5:30-6:30pm. Otherwise, you can expect old, non-replenished food.

Okay, so I looked this place up and thought, alright, it's gonna be a cheap buffet, with mediocre food like most buffets that rush orders to make sure food is always out. And the buffet looks a bit small in pictures, but it's only 4 minutes away and it's snowing. So let's just go here. But I was completely wrong!! I mean, it did cost only 19$ for both my boyfriend and I, and our daughter (under 1). And they did only have one bar out besides the sushi bar, but that had literally soooo many different variations of super amazing looking food.. they just put out a little bit at a time, so you know the food is alllllllways fresh. And it all looked so good I tried to have a little bit of everything before I got full, and each entree was Soo packed full of flavor, it wasn't even slightly bland like most buffets. I literally thought I accidentally went to an expensive five star restaurant. I've been to so many Chinese buffets across the country and this was literally the first time I was shocked about the amazing taste from my first bite. Especially the Teriyaki chicken! They even garnished it with onion. Those chefs must be working so hard. And the staff was super friendly saying they were so happy we were there. Like no, IM, so happy to be here!! The sushi was the more simple kind of sushi, but still good. But everything else was 100%. I can't wait to go back there again. I'm truly impressed.

We have been coming to Min Du for the last 15 years, ever since they opened. While the selection is relatively small on the buffet, the quality is consistent and good. Sure sometimes it takes a while to refill dishes depending on how busy it is but you won't meet a nicer family and the price is a great value. Best peanut butter chicken I have ever had.

I love this place! The food is prepared well, fried scallops are huge and succulent! Fried dumplings and the homemade sauce is a must, they also have great Dim Sum, sticky buns are great!

I had them make me a off menu? Item the Schezuan Chicken and it was amazing. It was like $11.38 er something like that. Regardless under $12 and it is the big rectangle dish so plenty to eat. The Hostess has a heart felt joy to be serving you as well. She is super sweet. Good Work, Mindu Buffet.

After moving to Appleton from Ohio we ate here on the recommendation of a coworker. It's been two years now and even though we've tried and loved many other places we always come back to Min Du Buffet. It's cozy, clean, the food is good with just enough variety, and the family staff are wonderful people. They are the reason we keep coming back! Try the peanut butter chicken, it's top notch!

This is a small buffet with a very attentive staff. I seldom see more than 3 or 4 other diners when I eat here. (I do tend to take my lunch break at odd times.) They do a very good job of keeping the food on the buffet fresh and not leaving anything empty for long. It is perfectly safe to eat from this buffet at non-peak times. There is also a separate sushi table with a nice variety that I enjoy visiting for a light finish to my meal.

I honestly don't know why this place has such high ratings or why there are people blatantly lying in their review. First of all, this is literally the smallest "buffet" I've ever been to. There aren't many options at all and it takes quite some time for them to refill their food. I don't think they follow a strict recipe either considering one moment the food tastes one way then it gets refilled it tastes completely different after. The absolute only perk about this place is the price.. If you're a struggling college student or looking for a quick subpar meal to fill you up, this is the place. But if you want to actually enjoy your food and overall experience, you're better off pretty much anywhere else.
