American steakhouse food at its best, in a very pretty spot -- woodsy setting with deer, squirrels and birds just a plate-glass window away. Steaks are tender and flavorful, blue gills were a treat that took me back to childhood -- everyone in our group was happy with their food. What they need, however, is some decent wine; you can get red or white, period, and both are lousy.

A gem in the woods! Great friendly family style service. Tera our server was simply amazing, she is unique and is so much fun. My colleagues had the 20oz porterhouse steak and I had the liver and bacon with mash and veg. Mine was $12.50 and as a Brit I can tell you it was the most incredible liver and onions I have ever had in North America. The restaurant is old fashioned and unique inside which adds to the character and experience.

Such a gem out in the woods!! I picked it out of GPS selections that were close to where we were on that day/at that time. I have to admit I told my husband not to be mad if we were on a wild goose chase...which it felt like it very well could be. After driving through rural sub-division areas we came upon this lil tucked in the woods restaurant!! Wonderful Service, Wonderful Menu, Wonderful View (as we were looking out the large pic windows there were squirrel feeders as well as bird feeders. Being "Bird & Squirrel" Friendly we got a real kick out of watching the Wildlife right out the window

The food is always great. I love the scallops! The nightly specials are not to be missed!! One of my favorite specials is the blackened open faced prime rib sandwich, YUM! The broasted chicken is fantastic. I've had many different entrees and I've never been disappointed.

Great food (I had a ribeye with mashed potatoes and salad) in an unexpected place off the beaten path. Was busy, even at 4:30pm (40 minute wait for party of 5 on a Friday), but it was entirely worth the wait for the food. Server was friendly, courteous, timely, and down to earth too.

Been going here for Friday fish fry for years. Reasonable and delicious! Perch is amazing and the portions are generous. Get there early or expect to wait an hour+. Totally worth the wait.

Majerle's is a wonderful supper club. Food is very good and prices are great. You get a lot for your money. It's crowded with the locals and they don't take reservations. Allow time to wait and they will let you know how long. Its a small place in the woods and the deer come near the building. If in Sheboygan you must dine here!

We got there at 5 on a Sunday it was very busy but I expected it to be the Badgers game was on there were two of us and we were seated immediately the food and service were excellent as usual I had a Rib eye medium well very tender and flavorful my friend had the scallops and they also were very delicious I highly recommend this place if you want a very cozy and charming experience

First meal ever in Wisconsin. Good cheese curds, a must for a newbie. Chicken and rice soup was delicious. The scallops, haddock and prime rib entrees were all prepared well and good. Our server, Gaven, was friendly, courteous and attentive.

Good prices on everything. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff. The regulars are always friendly and invite you to converse with them. Generally there's a bit of wait, but they get you in as quickly as they can. The owner and manager are very nice and always say hi to you when you're there.

Great place nestled in the pines. Food was great service was fun. Ate at the bar because restaurant was packed with a waiting line of gracious locals. Everyone dressed business casual while we were dressed and smelled like the campfire we left at Kohler Andre. Prime rib was awesome on Saturday night. If you are there with a group a friends try the Shotski.

Really great food! All you can eat Blue Gill on Wednesday is very good and very tastey! The steaks are very good and always cooked and seasoned correctly! The Apple Harvest Salad is a favorite! While you're eating, you can watch the deer and turkeys walking by the dining room. The place is always packed because people know what's good!

A coworker recommended we try the AYCE Bluegill fish fry on Wednesdays. The fish was good, lightly breaded and deep fried. French fries and a nice side salad with a house-made lemon-basil vinaigrette salad dressing was very refreshing. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. The wait staff was very attentive and kind. I would certainly recommend this great place for a good drink, a great meal, and lively conversation.

We live in sheboygan and have gone there several times, food was always good. Just took friends there from out of town, food was bad! Had a perch sandwich very little fish, mostly bun smothered in tarter sauce our friend who also ordered perch sandwich was spitting out bones and fish scales. Was so bad will not go back.

This is a pure gem found in the woods. Even being on a diet they were accomodating, and asked questions around my diet to make sure they gave me the best experience. I was impressed with the extra care they had that I would recommend this place to everyone to try once because you will gone back again. They also made sure to ask how you would like your steak made for the steam sandwhiches. They also did a steak as black and blue and nailed it. Medium size portions and seem enough to take left overs.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy with the fireplace lit and snow on the ground. The other customers said that we just missed the deer in the yard. The drinks were fantastic along with the service. The special for the evening was a porterhouse steak which was outstanding. A must to out in your dinner rotation.

I have eaten here both in the dining room and, most recently, at the bar. The food itself has been excellent, and I would struggle to find a complaint. My sole suggestion to staff is that if you're going to offer food service barside, inform your patrons better about how to go about ordering. On our last visit, we were completely ignored by the bartender, who strolled around chatting with the obvious regulars, even engaging in conversation at times with patrons waiting. We watched her make drinks for six other guests who came in after us before we had to interrupt a different server and ask for menus and to order. We were barely acknowledged by this particular bartender, and she even rolled her eyes at us as if we were a bother by eating at the bar (although the dining room was full, and we even got drinks as well). She left a bad taste of the bar service there.

A great local spot, with fantastic prices for loads of food. Chicken, fish, and dessert tortes are exceptional. The dining room is a little small, so come early or make reservations on weekends. We’ve seen deer and squirrels out of the large windows. A great choice if you’re looking for an affordable meal 15 minutes from downtown Sheboygan.

It's a very tiny place that's well worth the wait! They have a bar area to wait until a table is ready. From appetizers to dessert everything was booming with flavor. Prices a bit higher then your "average" dinner go to place, but worth every penny. Staff is friendly and accommodating to make your dinner that much better. I recommend the seasoned broiled shrimp dinner, so mouth watering I wanted it to be all I could eat! I definitely recommend and will be back.

This place should be called The Salt Lick. My GF and I mentioned how over salted our food was and the waitress couldn’t have cared less. Service was extremely slow, especially for only having 8 customers in the dining room and 2 waitresses working the floor. Huge disappointment and a sizable waste of time and money. Boooooo!

Stopped by on our way home from blue harbor resort 12/28/15. What a surprise I can't say how pleased we were with the service and the food...being from Chicago we had it all and this ranks amogst the best. Our party of 7 had the special steak sandwiches.....melt in your mouth great, few had the half perch platter ....great also......children's plates were fantastic......appetizers were bountiful and everything was super fresh and hot. Can't wait to visit again..kids want to take the 2 plus hour ride just to eat here. Great establishment your doing everything Right
