Excellent, friendly place. Fast and friendly service, and delicious food (including a birria de chiva that was so delicious i forgot to take a picture until i was halfway done!). Accommodating of a vegetarian request, and my teenage daughter, who usually grumbles at the prospect of Mexican food, is excited to return!

The house margaritas here are fantastic - not too sweet and commercial. This is a very authentic place. Their salsas are delicious. I had never tried Sopes until I came here and found a new dish that I really enjoyed. This is a nice family owned business that might not be open for much more time so make sure you get in and experience it!

I ordered through Door Dash with this place, for lunch at work. We ordered a Steak Taco Lunch, 2 Chimichunga Lunches, and an order of Caldo. When we received the order, there were 2 flour tortilla's with cheese, cilantro, and onions, NO MEAT, in aluminum foil, and NO RICE AND BEANS, which we confirmed came with the lunch, before ordering. One chimichunga lunch was received, correctly. Then 2 chimichungas wrapped seperatley were in the bag, again, without rice and beans. And the Caldo was complete. When we called to let them know there was a mistake with the order, they continued to argue that we did not order what we ordered. Inconvieneced us, asking to provide a picture of the receipt. They caused us to have to go to the resturaunt to pick up the correct order, and still argued when we arrived about us not having the rice and beans with the 2 chimichunga's. I'm still upset about this, as we are the customer and had to have 2-3 conversations with them to get the correct order, and still did not receive what we paid for. We spent almost $50.00 with them, and did not get what we ordered. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

A heaping bowl of goodness accompanied by a plate of sliced radishes, cabbage, and fried tortilla to add as you like. I absolutely loved the broth on both soups. Located on the first floor of a home, the space itself is not that large with approximately 10 tables. Service was excellent and my waitress was warm and friendly. I know now never to pass this place again without stopping in. One of my new faves.

A friend recommended we eat here when traveling through Milwaukee and I'm glad we did. It's not impressive from the outside but nice enough inside and the food is very authentic and very good. We tried the chilaquiles, cheese enchiladas, bean gordita, and carne asada tacos - all were delicious. We felt like we were eating in Mexico. Service was friendly. The location was not far off the freeway. We'll go back when we can.

The most authentic Mexican food in MKE. PERIODT. The green pozole is my favorite. Expect an hour wait on Saturday and Sunday morning. The place is really “homey” and the waitstaff is kind and pleasant! Highly recommend!

We accidently bumped into this place. We tried it the first time and their food was fantastic. There soups are great, there tacos, enchiladas are fabulous. We haven't had anything that we haven't liked yet. There prices are reasonable, the service is great, the waitress was very nice and did her job well. We have come here a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. It is a small place and feels homey. We love it!

Some restaurants lose their quality once the expand but not Guadalajara.
