Stopped for lunch. Sat at the bar. Service was outstanding and friendly. Food was excellent. I had a hot ham and Turkey, my cohort had the club. We'll be back!

SLOW SERVICE Food was great, so that sucks giving the 3 stars. But maybe they needed some new cooks. Ordered a steak that came with the salad bar and soup. 1 out of 3 soups were available. We waited for 20 minutes for drinks, then over an hour after that for appetizers and entrees. Will try again, maybe not on a Saturday night.

The lunch buffet during the week was very nice, make sure to request Grace as your waitress if she is available as she is very attentive to her tables. The evening buffet is I hear better stocked, but for $9.99 at lunch it is very affordable and has good healthy choice options from the salad and soup bar. However, most of the meat fare is fried, the fish they use is Swai, which is an Asian bottom fish akin to American catfish.

Tuesday afternoon. Not busy. Bartender not a friendly person. I found $15 laying on one of the machines and turned it in to her. (My mistake...I'm too honest!) I had to ask her before we left if she should get my phone number in case no one claimed it. (Like that's gonna happen!) She was not congenial at all. Had a friend meet us there who asked us "what the "H...s" up with the bartender?" We spent plenty of $$ there, a good part of the afternoon and never had bar tender buy. Good beer on tap but wouldn't return on her watch!

Went there for the buffet and it was not good. Not much of a selection and all of the food was overcooked. Fish was hard and chewy, mashed potatoes were hard. Everything seemed like it was sitting there for a long time. Costed $42 for the 2 of us. Definitely could have used that money better elsewhere. Wouldn't go there for the buffet again.

Winneconne best stop on the water for dinner, lunch or breakfast. This place has it all. Banquet room for wedding or large events. Summertime the Fin has it's own showboat for private and public trips. Very large deck outside with live bands on most weekends in summer. Owners are great people.

And of course my husband got food poisoning and became violently ill from their special of broasted chicken and ribs, which by the way tasted terrible and we even said he’s probably gonna get sick and low and behold he sure did! Will never go back again!

Waited 48 minutes for a chicken tender sandwich and a 10 inch pizza. Staff was rushed and seemed very unorganized. Although it was a Saturday, it was at only 50ish% capacity. Clearly the kitchen had poor communication with the other half of the staff. Will not be returning back. Thank goodness I don’t live in this town.

Salad bar was pretty good but the main dishes were unfit to eat! Swai (Vietnamese carp) NO WAY, fake scallops, shrimp was way overbreaded and under cooked, the fish all I'll say is one bite and I was done. Paid the check and left. I will say though, the service was good.

Food was excellent. The service not so good, we were a party of 10. Everyone ordered the buffet but me. My food didn't come until everyone else was almost done. I had to ask were it was, he forgot. He seemed very disorganized. Some of our party had to wait until half way through their meals before they ordered drinks. Disorganized waiter means a not enjoyable meal. It was brought to owners attention. Her comment was "he's usually very good". Food was excellent but it will be a while before I go there again.

We had a great time at the f&f. This was our second experience. I am spoiled. It is a good place. The food is good. Average. Nothing wrong with it. The Margaritas are pretty sweet /tart. Again, being from Texas, I am spoiled. The service is pretty good even when they are busy.

Have been going to the Fun n Feather for 45 years. It's our go to place to eat. Live bands on the Wolf River on Friday nights along with a GREAT buffet. Nothing better.

Their Sunday buffet was pretty underwhelming. Everything looked greasy and sad. The pastry options looked like they'd just been taken out of plastic wrappers and plopped onto a platter. Because of this, my husband and I opted to order off the menu. His order of ahi tuna with avocado was literally just an enormous mound of packaged guacamole with some grilled tuna on top. Points for trying, but the execution was bad. On top of this, our server came across as though she would rather have been anywhere but at that restaurant, which is just a real bummer when you're trying to have a nice lunch out with your significant other. We liked the windows looking out onto the river, though.

Sat AT the outside bar. Service was super slow. They look right at you with an empty glass and not even realize you were waiting for a drink. Food was pretty good. Took a while to get our food but it was a busy Friday night. They did forget part of mine and my husband's dinner is and had to go back and have them made. And the music on the patio is always way too loud.

I was a little concerned about how it would go because when we got there the hostess did not greet us which was a bit awkward. The hostes then had us stand and wait for a 4-5 minutes when there were very few patrons there and we had an infant and toddler waiting to eat. I'm not sure what was up with that. My concern deepened when I noticed that the buffet food did not look very fresh. (The macaroni had gotten quite hard.) And the banks of the chairs were a little sticky like that hasn't been cleaned in a while. But, we were told from a local that the broasted chicken and the pizza where the way to go. I would also add the burgers to their recommendations. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was great. Our crew had 2 broasted chicken specials that came with a soup and salad bar a bacon cheeseburger, blue cheese burger, and a Mac and cheese kids meal. Both burgers were hardy and good. Good bread (bun), good flavor. the fries were fresh crisp and good. My wife mentioned this, and she has high standards for fries. They weren't seasoned with extra flavor, but they were quality fries. (In regard to the sweet potato and normal fries). The broasted chicken was fresh and moist. Even the white meat was moist and delicious. As, on occasion, roasted white meat can be a little dry. Not in this case. I was a little worried at first, and I'm glad we did not get the buffet. The food that we ordered (daily specials, and off the menu) was very good, and our bill was only around $45 (plus tip) to feed 4 adults and 1 child. Would return/recommend.

My review is based on Easter brunch as I have not been there otherwise. The good was the service, it was friendly and fast. The food was okay, but nothing I would give more than 3 stars for. My 2 big issues were, if you're going to charge me $19 a plate, do not serve me powdered eggs and 2, don't run out of food items. Because it was Easter, reservations were required, which means you know how many people are coming and how much food you need, there's no excuse for running out. We got there at 11 am with alot of people still arriving and they were already running out of some items. We are debating trying a dinner there, if we do, I will update this review, but as it stands we will be having brunch elsewhere.

We met family for a meal and this place was pretty quiet, (on a Tuesday) so it was nice not to have to shout to be heard. They have a separate bar area for socializing and then a dining area with windows facing the water. Don't let the entrance throw you off; they are actually an upscale dining establishment. Higher priced food and well made. Great service.

Bloody Mary’s were watered down outside. Go inside and they were actually worth the money. Still waiting over 30 minutes for a burger and a wrap for my wife. They have only 3 people working and are struggling to keep up with customers. They aren’t bringing the food out all together for the group either. Horrible service but like the only place in winneconnie to eat so we have to get the bad service here.

Total chaos and disorganization! Several dining room tables sat empty when our party of 4 first arrived. We were told they "just had to get a table ready." Half hour later, tables still empty and we were still waiting. Once seated, waited 15-20 minutes for order to be taken. Waited 15-20 minutes for drinks and another 30 minutes for food. Table next to us walked out without ever getting their food. By this time, dining room had really cleared out and kitchen was still "backed up" we were told. It will be a very long time before we go back.

We were there tonight and the service wasn't great, they only gave us one menu to start with . I asked if they served Prime Rib, the waitress said "ya, didn't you read the board where you came in. "I would like a waitress that comes to the table and tells you what there specials are. We got our food both ordered Med RARE and the steaks were big, but dry and not even pink. Ordered potatoes and I don't know how those can be dry but they were. We used to frequent there alot, haven't been there for a couple years and the food hasn't gotten better. Sorry, but we won't be returning

I recently attended a wedding at the Fin n feather and lets just say my entire party was far from satisfied! The employees and some of the managers were very very rude. Almost seemed like the job was to much for them, as they made our party feel very unwelcome. Refering to the bride with vulgar language and raising their voices to the groom to the point of screaming in his face. Ive never witnessed such unprofessional behavior from a business in my life. We will never stop there again nor will we recommend it to anyone!

The Fin N Feather is a Winneconne landmark and a Wisconsin treasure. This dinner club offers quality food with an absolutely beautiful view of the Wolf River. A cruise aboard the Showboat is an exceptional way to spend an evening out.

Somehow Google keeps thinking I am there although I'm over a mile away. Fine, I will review. It's a moderately overpriced old-school supper club mostly tailored to the old crowd. The food is fine; I especially like the pizza. The major draw is the waterfront and it's place in the community.

Was here for the 4th of july getting food with my girlfriend getting food in the dining room well my girlfriend got a club nothing to complain about and I got the 15.00 buffet food was good until i go up for my second plate as i see one of the young busser girls grabbing plates off empty tables as she gets in my way of the buffet to put the already handled uneaten chicken and beef tips back up on the buffet off somone eatean off of plate under the heat lamp I've had decent meals here before only ever had problems with the service and delivery in the past but last chance I set my plate down Paid my bill and left absolutely disgusted *******************UPDATE****************** so the day after call management not to try to complain to get free food or money comped or anything just to simply make sure they know what was happening in there establishment as I was a chef at a 5 star restaurant and my girlfriend served in Gatlinburg Tennessee to only from the start of the phone call have there so call "management" call me out on my review posted saying they would delete it and calling us nothing but and I quote "bs liars" that they worked with these servers and bussers here for years and they know they wouldnt do that which 2 months ago I know half of them were working at the wolf isle before they closed if your visiting winniconnie I reccomend taking your business elsewhere somewhere with a little more profession and class better service and better food like biggers, the pub , Jake's pizza, or woodeyes like I said 5 times coming here when my whole family is from winniconnie nothing but garbage experiences

Sorry really disappointed on this trip. Maybe you don't like to service men and women in Harley clothes. If we can afford a $33,000 motorcycle. We can afford a drink. Your staff lacks professionalism working a bar. Couldn't believe we had to keep flagging somebody for a drink. When you had five people behind the bar. We will try another day. Everybody has a off day now and then too...

Just had dinner there tonight. The main dining room was closed and had to sit at the small one off the bar. The music was incredibly loud the first half of the meal. We waited 20 mins just to get our salads. The tomato’s in the salad were still green. We ordered an appetizer which was ok and the bread was nice and hot an great. Unfortunately when we got our food, it was cold. The baked potato was cold in the middle. The mashed potatoes were cold and when we put the butter on it didn’t even melt. The fish and the ribs were also cold. The kids Mac and cheese was sitting in a pool of oil and grease. I will not return or recommend this restaurant.

I used to love this place. Now past several times I have dined in, delivered, or even picked up the food has been wrong or cold or the wait times are ridiculous and you end up waiting even longer because they messed up your order.

Just left the restaurant disappointed. After reviewing the menu and deciding what we wanted, we were told we could only order appetizers and pizza. We were a little bummed, but went ahead and ordered pizza and appetizers. The food took quite a while and it was l uke warm. As we're eating, we noticed those who came in after us were getting burgers and entrees. I sought out the owner who was at the bar working and let her know the situation. She said "Yes we know. Your waitress was given the wrong information so it's not her fault. You had already given your order so we didn't know what to do". I let her know that we could have been told about the error. Her response, Yes you should have been told. Sorry". All the while this exchange was taking place, the owner rarely looked at me as she was too busy. What I take away from this experience is the customer is not number one, and the staff didn't want to let us know about the error because they had already made the food. We would often stop here during the summer when out boating. Don't think we'll be back after this experience.
