We waited 20-30 minutes to be seated, which is fine and they let us know ahead of time. There is a shop attached so you have something to do. We were seated in the upstairs area, and got passed by many times before our waitress said she’d be right with us. Another 5 minutes went by before she actually stopped to talk to us. We ordered a cheese curd appetizer. Pretty good, but I think they could have had more cheese. Quite a few were just little fried balls with nothing in them. Our meals came out fairly quick. They have great sweet potato fries. Their PBLT was flavorful and fresh. The brats were good, but I would have loved some sauerkraut for added flavor. It just came on a bun with a little mustard. The potato salad was unique, but I think it could have also had a little more flavor. Overall, it was a good experience. I think they could have a better serving system, for the upstairs anyway. And the food was tasty enough, but I can see where some would say it’s overpriced for the quality.

Same owner also has a Italian restaurant adjoining the cafe and it has real Napoletana Pizza which is must have when you visit Sheboygan. Excellent customer service. Must visit place. We went there this past July and I am still raving about this place to friends. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and to the disbelieve of everyone that knows me as a finish-only-half-of-my-plate kind of eater, I ate everything and got a smoothie to top it off. I couldn’t say enough about this place. We wandered around the adorable cheese, meat and local store attached and checked out the wine selection. The bar staff asked if we wanted to try anything and we would have if it wasn’t so early. So much character and charm. The only, and I mean only, disappointment I could say was that we didn’t have a very attentive server even though the place was semi empty. But that wouldn’t stop me from going back.

Read some of the other reviews and it sounds like some were just looking to complain about anything, yeah those sort of people, too bad. One lady complained about the tico not being tico and she'd know because she was from Costa Rica.. Well good for her i bet there are 50 kinds of tica in Costa Rica and they didn't perhaps serve her what she was used to in her province. This place is wonderful! Excellent atmosphere and food. Pricey perhaps but that's different for everyone, I think it's a fair price for what you get. Food was flavorful and good portions with several options. Friendly staff. The same people who rate this place less than a 5 are the same people who complain about oxygen ruining their day.

My husband and I love this place. We go here often and haven't had bad experience yet. We like to sit at the bar and chat with the staff who are very friendly. The coffee is always great and the food is always delicious. It makes a huge difference when good quality ingredients are used. I love their avocado toast with poached eggs, they often have a bagel with smoked salmon, or if you like sweet, the French toast is great! The atmosphere is nice too. :) Definitely try this place out!!

Stopped by here for breakfast with a family of four while vacationing in the area. We're foodies and love trying new local things while away from home. This was the best breakfast we've had in a long time. Every single thing was incredible and the staff was outstanding. Even our two little boys commented on how amazing the food tasted. It's a little on the pricey side, but the food makes it worth it. The kitchen staff were a blast to watch, and they work very well together. The people serving behind the bar are wonderful and helpful. Several good suggestions were made after talking to them for a bit. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by to check them out.

They had the air conditioning running full blast at 7:30 in the morning. All of the patrons in the restaurant were crossing their arms in front of them and huddling in jackets if they had them. I asked our waitress to do something about the cold temp, collectively they didn't care. Perhaps they only respond to negative reviews?

Original review below but we went again today and we're appalled by the portions... like seriously, $6.99 for an 8oz smoothie. We knew this place was overpriced but that's obscene. Pricey but the quality is good. I had the breakfast sandwich w/ pork sausage which was excellent but with no sides included it was too expensive. And no kids menu which made for a very expensive $9 combination of sides.

Very slow service. Food was overpriced. Waited for the appetizer for 30 minutes. Do not come here if you are starving. Food was good, but the long wait soured the experience. The bill was $50 for 2 ppl with 1 appetizer, 1 omelette, 1 burger with fries, and 2 drinks. I would suggest that the management hire more cooks on the weekends to decrease wait times for food.

Love this bustling breakfast place with locally-sourced food (some organic) and creative menu items. You can eat as healthy as you like, or try the yummy items in their bakery case. My favorite is the avocado toast with egg. They roast their own coffee beans and the coffee is great, too! It's fun to sit at the counter in front and watch the cooks make your breakfast. It's also fun to sit at the counter in back and watch them juice fruit and cut wheat grass to make smoothies.

Great place to eat. I have been here quite a few times and the place is still one of the best places to eat in Sheboygan. Staff and servers are very polite, smiley and friendly. The food is very fresh and tasty. They use fresh and organic (some of the stuff) materials. I recommend this place.

The three of us had just got done being judges at a student math contest and we deserved something good to eat. We hadn't been to Field to Fork for a while; but we decided we deserved it, as it is a really good restaurant. We got there at 1230 hours and the place was jumping. We were facing a thirty minute wait. But a friendly and kind maître D told us we could sit at the three seats at the bar that were marked "reserved for staff". A cheerful wait person was on the spot. He answered all of our questions with a big smile. Alas, my favorite, the black bean burger is no longer on the menu; but our waiter, a self avowed meat and potato man suggested their new falafel burger was really good, so that's what I ordered. My wife ordered a quiche with tomato soup; and our friend ordered a healthy bowl. All of our food was outstanding. As we were sitting at the bar, we could watch the food preparation. The cooks worked like a well-oiled machine. I haven't eaten a burger since 1964; but they were putting out some very good looking burgers. In fact, everything that came out of the kitchen area looked really good. This restaurant has a lot of choices for vegetarians. There is a small grocery store in the adjoining space with wines and Italian style produce and food. If you are looking for a place where you can get a healthy and well prepared meal, it would behoove you to patronize this fine restaurant. Friendly service and top of the line food make this a must try.

Joshua was an outstanding server. He gets ten stars in my book. The food was fantastic but most definitely overpriced. The guy with the glasses/host was unfriendly and wouldn’t make a simple request happen as he stated his hands were tied. Stopped in for lunch after reading online reviews, truly excellent! I had the falafel pita wrap and a terrific drink from their raw juice bar called the Iron Man. Impressive quality food and service. I don't know if I will ever come back to Sheboygan but I will come here again if I do.

Scene: The scene was great. On a snowy and wet afternoon we walked into a warm and inviting, long, narrow spot with an open kitchen behind a long bar and a dinning area in the back. On the right were steps up to a loft dinning area that overlooked the rest of the house. We were seated there and found that, even though it was busy, it was quite enough to enjoy our conversation perched above the bustle. The Service: The management was present and helpful in the dinning area. We were seated without lunch menus and the floor manager promptly brought us some when she was made aware. The server, however, seemed to be disingenuous and his interruptions to up-sell and clarify the gluten-free status of the vegetarian burger lead me to make an unfortunate mistake in my order. The Food: This was the disappointment. For the price, the fact that its billed as a farm to table restaurant, I did not expect to receive food that was manufactured in a factory. I ordered the vegetarian burger with Havarti cheese and roasted peppers on a Gluten free bun with fries. Each part came from a food factory. At the very least I expected a hand made veggie patty and a fresh bun but the patty came off a patty forming machine, the bun was stale, the peppers were mush and the cheese was that pre-sliced, vacuum packed, mass produced, low-quality stuff that rates just above Kraft singles. It was not good. In my opinion the menu is too large with items on it that should not have made the final cut. After the disappointment I ordered, I'm left wondering what was the gem I missed? I asked the server about the fries hoping to dip them in a sample of some of their house sauces. With the biggest smile in the world he said that the fries were great! And that they have an organic ketchup as their house sauce. They were not great. They were generic food factory fries, the low budget kind I'm served at every dinner across America, and here I was served the bottom of the bag. Most of my fries were less than two inches long and though the ketchup was tangy with a unique flavor the fires made the experience messy and feel like a chore. Maybe they have some great things on the menu but they didn't serve me any. From the great reviews others have left, it certainly seems like they lower their standards when it comes to serving people with dietary restrictions. They also served us cold pickled beets instead of the roasted beets listed on menu, I still don't understand this. The Verdict: Two stars, the scene and management were spot on, unique and exactly what I'd expect, but the food and service were not worth the price they charged, just another reheat and serve. Very disappointed.

Excellent little niche restaurant and country store. All of their menu items are locally sourced. Breakfast until 3PM and a solid menu. Pretty pricey as it was $50 plus tip for 3 of us for lunch and we all had water. Would gave gotten 5 stars if not so expensive. Not a lot of parking and we had to wait about 15 minutes at 12pm for lunch.

I find this place to be vastly overrated. The food is basic, it doesn’t utilize great flavor combinations, the bloody Mary’s aren’t great, and all in all I find it over priced for what it is. I think it’s a little high on itself, when in actuality it’s incredibly mediocre. UPDATE 6/23/18: As I stated, this place is a little high on itself. Owner immediately claps back at those who didn’t love their food. True essence of pretentious. “All my friends think I’m great.”

I love that the rustic fare is made with locally grown ingredients. Everything is always fresh and they also have a nice assortment of vegan options. Service is always dependably efficient and friendly. 4.11.18 I tried their Cuban for the first time. Cubans are a favorite of mine and their description had my mouth watering. In execution, I think the mustard and/or horseradish overpowered the sandwich. All I really tasted was some pork fat, a lot of mustard/horseradish, and great crusty bread. Pick something other than the Cuban on the menu.

Food was just okay. Sat at the "bar" and was disappointed to watch shortcuts by the kitchen. If you're going to have an open kitchen and just in general you better up your game....someone is going to get sick. A few things we saw: using the same pan for EVERYTHING, taking a cooked egg that fell in the grease trap and plating it, a cook bouncing between meats, salads and never hand washing, putting soup that had already been served back in the pot.

Outstanding lamb on house made Parker roll. My wife had a breakfast sandwich of great chicken sausage, Alpine Swiss cheese and fried egg. Dessert was a chocolate chip toffee cookie. Service was quick, attentive yet not intrusive. Don't pass up an opportunity to eat here .

We've been going to Field to Fork for years. Much more than just a diner they have a unique menu based on locally sourced ingredients. Roast their own coffee and bake their own bakery items. Seating is limited so do take that into consideration.

Heard they have good vegan food. Stopped in for some breakfast. Replaced the meat with vegan chorizo bumped up my bill $5. Extra $2 for avacado. By the time I was done for a basic Tico breakfast with coffee my bill was $22 plus tip $3 I spent $25on one simple breakfast dish. Wow. Imagine two vegans going there...$50 breakfast ...I don't think I will be going there for breakfast again so pricey. I'm from Costa Rica and in no way was that a Tico breakfast.

The restaurant of Field to Fork located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, is an all around excellent restaurant. I go to Field to Fork many weekends out of the year, and I have never had a bad meal or service. The service at the restaurant is extremely wonderful and the variety of food is superb. Not only is the food great, but the restaurant is clean and well put together. There is a wide variety of food along with them serving breakfast all day, they also have a long list of good drinks like pressed juices and smoothies. I also love how the waiters and waitresses are aloud to express their own opinions and wear what they choose. The restaurant also uses locally sourced food items like fruits, vegetables and coffee. A quote from a review by another customer says, “I love that the rustic fare is made with locally grown ingredients. Everything is always fresh and they also have a nice assortment of vegan options.” The restaurant is a really nice place to sit and catch up with friends, is a place thats brings optimism to the community and leaves you smiling in a good mood. Every meal and drink I have tried there has never disappointed me. Field to Fork is a welcoming and positive restaurant that has great service and outstanding food.

Never a disappointment!! If you go, sit at the counter. A splendid assortment of meat or vegetarian dishes. Waitstaff and cooks are all friendly. Coffee is out of this world! While you wait, shop in the adjacent market or grab some bakery. The baker on site occasionally comes around with a sample of some delicious creation, hot out of the oven. I thought maybe the third time might be a charm, but no such luck, still disappointing. I got a smoothie to be on the safe side. Tasted fine, but almost $9.00 for an 8 oz smoothie killed it for me. Service was extremely poor also.

What a delicious find! We love their sister place Duke of Devon, so we were excited to try it. I love their Ironman juice from their fresh squeezed juice bar. And the lamb burger was amazing. The fresh orange juice and breakfasts are delicious as well. We took one of every cookie for the road trip home. See you next time!

Absolutely EXCELLENT... Our Server, Joshua was an absolute delite.. Definitely put the "Warm Fuzzies" in place!! The atmosphere and over all aurora was extremely calm and I felt like I could have just sat there all day... Very comfortable.. The food was very good and it's a nice variety of some really local ingredients.. Over all it was an Amazing morning and a Great way to start my day... Can't wait to experience more flavors and the getting to know more staff.. Most definitely would recommend!!!!
