I gave this place a 1 star rating because the food has no flavor, I've been here twice recently and ordered 2 different things to see if maybe it was just what I ordered but the steak was very bland as if it weren't seasoned at all my enchiladas were dry and had very lil sauce or cheese. Dont get me wrong the service was great the 2nd time I went but I would not eat here again. Very disappointing for authentic Mexican food.

Saturday nights are busy and you may need to wait. Well worth the extra time. Steak fajitas we're the best I've ever had! Thick steak and not over cooked or over seasoned. Excellent salsa! I would honestly drive put of my way to come here again. :)

The pork burrito was AMAZING!!! All three of us ate on my husband's pork it was so good!! Son had tamales, he like those. I had the chicken quesadilla, very good. But the pork was just amazing! The only downer was the guacamole was a very small portion and salsa is almost too spicy .

This is a nice place for Mexican food. The service was exceptional. The food however lacked flavor and we had to add guacamole and the salsa from the chips to the burrito to make it tasty. Probably won't return. Went there because they are open late night.

I've eaten here twice and loved the food both times. Most recently I enjoyed their tostada dinner. Deliciously cooked steak on open face taco smothered in cheese and lettuce with sour cream ❣️ my friends enjoyed the chimichangas and the quesadillas. Family friendly and authentic.

First time visit with spouse on a quiet Monday evening. We were greeted and immediately seated. Very friendly staff. Delicious authentic Mexican food with incredibly generous portions! We highly recommend El Senorial and are looking forward to our next visit!

I go to this restaurant all the time with my family. This past weekend I went and asked if a few items could be used as a combination, my server said yes. After eating some okay food I looked at my bill and my "combination" costs 14 dollars because it was rung up a la cart. Im sorry I would never pay that much for 2 tostadas and a vwry small chimi. Hence the reason I asked if what I wanted was a combination. They then brought my mother posole with no meat. She politely asked for a new bowl with meat. The server was sweet and said yes, she went and brought a new bowl with only 5 small diced pieces of meat. My mom was so suprised and the manager brought her a bowl of meat to make it better. She found out she was charged for extra meat when the soup had none to begin with and for extra for the cabbage, cilantro ect. Mind you when the lady got her a fresh bowl she took the fixings with her the first time. I felt I was lied to and nothing was being done when I spoke to the manager. Im so disappointed as I LOVE this place, time to find a new family spot.

First time there. As other reviewers mentioned food was a bit bland, however easily remedied by adding the salsa. Perfect amount of heat for my taste. Had enchiladas with the green sauce and enjoyed the beans and rice too. Really liked the slice of red onion on shredded lettuce and the addition of lemon which made it light, refreshing and cut thru heaviness of cheese and tortilla. Live band very good too.

Food is great however the service is disappointing. Ordered pick up. Was almost home and they requested I turn back. I refused to do so and willing to settled with whatever food I received. They said sorry that order cost is more. They wouldn’t be willing to accept their mistake and refused to offer a future discount for inconvenience. Highly upsetting.

One of my favorite Mexican spots in Milwaukee. I’ve been going here for eighteen years and I enjoy it the same as I did eighteen years ago.... great food, staff and atmosphere. Food is authentic and huge portions. Drinks are strong and well made. Food is fresh and tasty! One of my favorite places.. hidden gem on the south side.

This place has this amazing soup.. I cant remember the name of it.. so I just call it Mexican Soup ( please excuse me if that is offensive.. I'm not trying to be) but it is awesome. Ironically, the tacos left me with a lot to be desired. Next time I'll just stick with the soup and margaritas.

The first thing ones tries is the chips, but I found them to be cold and thin. The salsa on the other hand was pretty good, it's got some heat to it. I ordered the Campechana which is a shrimp.cocktail with octupus and oysters. It was delicious, I personally didn't like the oysters. But other than that it's a nice restaurant to bring a girlfriend or family. So I do recommend it.

We stopped here to try the food looking for authentic Mexican food. The salsa was good and I loved the rice and beans. We ordered the Mixed fajitas and the beef was a bit tough. Other than that I was pleased with the meal.

Decided to try sue to a friends recommendation. Ordered the bbq and very disappointed. The chorizo was burnt and blackened and inedible. The steak was tough due to overlooking. The heat from the burner was just too hot and over cooked everything on the grill. Couldn’t get the waitress attention to have the dish replaced. Place was too busy and overtaxed for staff and kitchen.

The have good food. But it depends on what you order. I wasn't really a fan of their burrito meal. Wasn't the best, and if you wanted it with sides, it cost around $12. But the side of rice and beans was seriously small portions. And the burrito was too oily and didn't have much flavor. Their chicken enchiladas is very good, and I totally recommend that. I have several Mexican friends, who've welcomed me to family gathers. Where I had the privilege to eat authentic Mexican cooking. El Señorial is good, and the dining experience inside is very family friendly. But I wouldn't, from my experience, call their good the most authentic Mexican food. At least not in quality of taste.

We've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. Never been disappointed. Food is very good and so is the staff. Remodeled a while ago and now has more seating. Always clean and sometimes crowded. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered online for my family dinner. We ordered 5 taco dinners and a steak meal totaling $88.16. I paid for delivery from an online delivery service. El Senorial has not updated there online pricing so they decided to short me a taco dinner and add some sodas and stuff to cover the over payment since they went up $3-$5 on each of there menu items since menu was last updated online. I think a phone call could of cleared this up and I would of been willing to pay the difference but instead the manupliated the register to total what I paid and then argued with me on what ordered. Then I produced a receipt showing that I paid for 5 dinners and they blamed the online delivery service for there negligence of updating price increases online. Customer service is important and the manager decided it was in there best interest to call and review the price differences instead of keeping a long term customer happy. Bad move senorial!

El Senorial use to have the best beans and rice in town 10 years ago. I dont know if they lost the recipe or what but the rice and beans suck now. Plus the prices went waaay up. $5.00 for a little box of beans and rice. Better off going to McDonald's and getting 5 McChickens.
