All the ingredients are locally sourced and delicious. I'm convinced that all they would need to do is give everyone one of their patty melts in order to achieve world peace. They are that good. Many, many places make their own root beer, but theirs is the best.

My wife loved the fish dogs. Ithought my burger was pretty good. The fries were pretty mediocre. We have been here 3 times on the way to our cabin and had a mixed bag of service. First two times very good ( quick and friendly) then the last time very slow even though we were only one of two familys there. Fries were luke warm like the order was sitting. Fun aptmoshere, cute decor.

More signs that explain for first timmers that u can sit out side an be waited on. Clean the outside table a lil better, polite people otherwise. An also thought we would get frys with our meal didnt know they were separate

Friendly car hop, decent selection of burger choices (including gluten free!). Prices higher than fast food types in the area, $5-10 per burger, but veggie toppings are crisp and fresh, and they offer sides such as sweet potato fries and fried green beans, along with thick delicious malts!

We have been there a number of times we really enjoy the atmosphere. Food generally has been wonderful, however this visit the party melt had a strange aftertaste, still good just not as good as usual. Our waitress was very helpful and professional.

I went to this place when it opened and didn't care for it. They made my wife's ice cream float first, and it sat melting away. When the food came I had also ordered a soda. It had soda all over the side so I asked the waitress if she could clean it off. She grabbed a dirty wet rag and proceeded to wipe it down. I told her that using something that disgusting was idiotic and get me a new one. If the burgers are nice sized and have a good flavor to it, I wouldn't mind paying a nit more, but for these it was way too much and didn't taste very good. Haven't been back since. They need a In and Out burger joint up here to show people what a good burger and fresh fries should taste like and at a great price. This place stinks!!!!!

Rock n roll themed burger joint right down to the chrome fixtures, Bobby socks and the flying skirt tails of waitresses. But no rollerskates and the menu is completely modern beneath the red-white checkered wrappers of recyclable paper. They claim on their menu to use freshest meats unfrozen from local producers and I can readily believe. We ordered a cheeseburger and swiss mushroom melt sandwich that were perfectly grilled and extremely tasty. Highly commended! Service is accurate friendly with beautiful smiles all around. Fast but not snappy, they're pretty busy in the summer

Came here with my significant other to get dinner, and left disappointed because the promised four inch meaty chicken tenders turned out to be shriveled, dry, sad pieces of chicken jerky that a dog couldn't even chew. I definitely will not be going back for for unless it's their appetizers, which aren't half bad.

It's the real deal, and they serve awesome, gut-busting burgers and malteds. They take your order while you sit in your car, and hang a tray off your window. Closes in fall, re-opens mid-spring.

Classic drive in with classic dinner food. I had a California burger which I was pleasantly surprised was not overly greasy, just a good quality juicy burger. Also had an amazing root beer float. Ambience is great, just a fun family friendly diner.

What a fun place! It had the classic drive-in atmosphere, but boast locallly sourced ingredients. We had a great server, and the food came quickly. The burgers were juicy and the buns fresh. Yum!

Great friendly service. Buffalo burger was cooked well and wasn't too dry which happens often. The crinkle cut fries weren't overly salty (which is a common occurrence) but pretty standard otherwise. Overall, a decent place to stop.

Cute place with retro vibe and music. The waitress was attentive. The food was okay. Nothing overly remarkable. I got a drink that was a blend of root beer and ice cream (as opposed to a root beer float). I think the ice cream was sweeter than is my taste because the overall drink was too sweet to really enjoy. My husband got a malt and he thought the ice cream was probably soft serve which sounds possible since my drink wasn't very cold, as well. If we travel to Grantsburg again, we might give another restaurant a try for dinner. But this place is worth a stop if you enjoy a retro drive in experience.

Plenty of outdoor comfortable seating in the shade. Quick service. Tasty cheese burgers. The fries were too salty for my taste, but if I had asked, I'm sure they would have replaced them. It was a good excuse for eating less.

They make their own root beer, plus, plus. Food is great for the location. As expected burger and fries, all good. However, stick with "normal" options, not all is great. Ice cream and treat options, I.e. Great floats are awesome. They have a 3 bay drive-in. Outside seating is great, waterfall, places for kids. Food and servers were quick and courteous. This place gets busy on the weekends.
