My friend Ray and I will often catch a happy hour beverage and one time we even won the raffle on Friday night! Enjoy the dive bar feel (only one left in Hudson in our opinion - prove us wrong) Go there for the food, drinks and atmosphere.

I love this bar! It's a nice trip especially on a breezy summer day. It's a great place to day drink, take a walk on the causeway to sober up, and definitely get the pretzels!! I have driven there (40 minutes) just for the pretzels. Their breakfast is amazing, their bloody mary's are decent and cheap Saturday and Sunday, and I don't even like bloodies.. I'm learning.

Huge menu of varied foods sure to please everyone. Mega cheese bacon burger was great although I doubt claim of 1/3 lb and bun was good but small. French dip burger excellent, beef aujous was well seasoned. Rough cut fries plentiful and tasty. Service a bit slow but very courteous. Highly recommended!

This historic place has been open over 100 years and the food is amazing. Its very laid back and the locals are very cool. I had prime rib soup and cheese curds for the 1st time each was flavorful and delicious.

"It used to be special," words that frequently come to mind describing the formerly legendary bar and grill. In recent years, the prices have risen, the quality and portions have waned, and the staff doesn't seem to care. I feel this change happened in the last 5 years, increasing intensity towards mediocrity daily. It was a place established in 1877, and had lots of local history and charm. Now, it feels like just another twin cities dive, overloaded with the rampant problem of "hipsters," that is all too common there.

Went for all you can eat fish. First plate was good. The second plate would have been faster to go to the St. Croix river, drill a hole, catch and clean the fish and deep fry them myself.

The place was not very clean. Had an odd smell to match. My wife ordered a steak and I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. We waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Not crowded at the time. My wife's steak came before my burger, the waitress said my burger would be right out. No so, my wife was nearly done eating when my burger came up. Very average burger, fries seemed overly greasy. Not happy campers!

Wife loves the bar crawl here with the llama. Nice place, says its the oldest bar in WI, but Google says otherwise. Bartender wasnt the nicest guy, other than that seemed like a nice enough place to drink.

Something has changed for the worse. The fact that the place was empty on a Sunday morning should have been a clue. The food was cold and made poorly. Dry biscuits and cold greasy gravy. I guess we need to find a new breakfast joint in Hudson...

I've been here a few times and the service has always been good. The food is excellent. I recently had their Peanut Butter Bacon Cream Cheese burger and it was amazing! Their portions are good and the prices are very reasonable. I'd highly recommend to anyone!

The grill and bar entrances are separate but like we did, you can walk through to the grill area. This is a very old location, bit cramped and dark but inside is overflowing with period atmosphere and vintage trim. Our waitress Mira was very friendly, attentive, accurate, quick and had a beautiful smile. She served us small bowls of soup and a grilled beef platter. The soups were made from scratch we could tell immediately with genuine, juicy bits of steak and ham. We felt these were the highlights of our meal. The deco I found to be bit confusing without a strong single theme... I got the idea of games maybe or was it meant to be childsplay with beach toys in the ceiling and children's crayon drawings on the wall. Either way think that is a weakness.

My friends and I had a girls night here, wonderful atmosphere where everybody at the bar joined in singing along to somw classic songs. Has a really cool indoor/outdoor smoking area. It was definitely friendly staff, and a wonderful place to get your groove on.

Chicken cordon bleu dinner came as sandwich. It came with fries that were a slimy pile of mush. Sandwich was horrible. Meatloaf was disturbing looking and tasted worse. I paid a delivery service to bring me the food. So now I'm out $40 and still haven't really ate. From the quality of it all, I feel like the few bites i managed to stomach, should be purged before i get food poisoning. Such low level of care makes one wonder what ya don't see.

Went there for breakfast. What I had was really good (I can't remember the name of it. Hash browns and sausage with vegetables). The service was great! The helper (I think his name is Canyon) was super helpful! He deserves recognition for his great customer service! Overall the place was great. Just don't get the biscuits and gravy. Not good.

This is where my friends from Minnesota and I meet. It's located in Hudson, Wisconsin. There food is excellent and they have $2. Bloody Mary's on the weekends! You can't go wrong with the sports bar room. The middle bar room, the family area, and the outdoor dining room complete with a waterfall. Love Dicks Bar and Grill!!

Awesome place to have a few drinks on a weekend afternoon! We've been here twice now, and in addition to a selection of Wisconsin beers and bar food, there are some pretty decent deals as well. There's also a semi-outdoor patio in the back that lets you enjoy the weather in the summer without having to deal with bugs.

Good bar and grill food, relatively inexpensive. The ambiance is nothing special-- a little rundown. Service was exceptionally slow the last time I was there (I think someone forgot to put in my order) but they made up for it by not charging me for it, so balance in the world is restored, and I will return. It's a fun place in the summer-- patio, music etc.

I don't know why some reviews said it's dirty. Not true, it's old, rustic, they play rock n roll. So what. It you want a lollipop hotel bar go find one please you don't belong here. The staff could be a little more attentive to customers but that's all I have.

WOULD PREFER TO GIVE ZERO STARS. Went to Dick's tonight for a fundraiser - hardly anyone in the place. Didn't seem to matter; the wait staff hardly paid any attention, we had to actually get up to seek them out for menus, water, more drinks. Fries came cold; we had to ask for hot ones. Waitress had no idea how things worked; did she even actually work there or was she some sort of sub? Check was rung up wrong, food took forever, drinks took even longer. Would NOT recommend Dick's for a meal unless you are drunk - because then even crap tastes good. Have been at Dick's several times prior on girl's nite out for drinking; that was fine (but I was inebriated so who cares, right?). Do NOT go here for any other reason.

BEWARE of the credit card processing fee!!! I have never been to a place that blatantly charges you to use a credit card. Haven’t been there in awhile and definitely won’t be back for awhile. Food is mediocre at best.

We stopped here for brunch this weekend and everything was great. The decorations on the restaurant side of the establishment are super cute--we ended up sitting at the "map" table and planning our next group adventure out of the states! Our server was super friendly and prompt. The coffee was EXCELLENT all by itself...and that's coming from someone who doesn't drink coffee black. Mimosas were great, as were bloody Mary's--both of which were only $1.75 during the day on weekends!! The portions are just right if not a little more than needed. I had a build your own omelet with breakfast potatos and a cinnamon stick, all of which was very good. I also had some bites of a couple of the hashbrown plates-very good. The Veggie omelet is also super tasty! Also love the bar popcorn machine-better than most! We're excited to come back in the warmer months to check out the patio!
