Excellent food with fast and friendly service. The food is authentic and homemade and is freshly served. Everything was delicious. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable about there product. They have amazing homemade desserts made in-house such as ice-cream and sherbert, we recommend the Oreo ice cream and Cucumber sherbert. Absolutely delicious!

Horrible service, brought out one drink and it took 15 minutes before we got the other one, food was horrible of what we did actually get. Ordered fajitas that did not come with shrimp got it brought to me twice with shrimp after they initially just picked out the shrimp after being told I can't have seafood. The waitress got an attitude and refused to give us a bill without the messed up order.

Its ok. The price was a bit on the pricey side for a taco since I've had tacos that are bigger for less in green Bay. I will say though that its cool that they have an ice cream and fresh water variety section inside as well as the salsa bar was a nice touch.

Collectively our table had steak tacos, chicken tacos, chilaquiles, a chimichanga, chile relleno, steak and onion fajitas, and chicken tamales. The only sub-par parts were the chicken tamales and chicken tacos, and they were just bland, not actively bad...weird for a chicken palace, but whatever. The service was really slow, we asked for more chips and never got any, and it took about 20 minutes for him to get us one to-go box. Overall pretty good food at a pretty decent price!

I am currently sitting in this restaurant right now. Horrible service the waitress didn’t even bring us forks. We had to walk up and ask someone else for them. We didn’t get chips and salsa tell we were seated for already 20min and then we didn’t get a refill on chips at all and I even asked and she never brought them out. My fajita quesadilla wasn’t even grilled correctly the vegetable were barely cooked. Very disappointed never coming back. The young lady was focusing on every other table but ours. I had to ask a 3rd time to get chips and then we finally got them. My food wasn’t even warm. We had to order our food at the front. It was a disaster and I’m for sure not leaving a tip.

If you like real Mexican food (as to the American knockoffs), then you dont want to miss this. We love stopping here. Food is very flavorful and authentic and the people are friendly and genuine. Our favorites are the carne asada (grilled steak) tacos and burritos. We also like the aguas frescas (fruit waters), especially the lime.

Hidden gem of the valley. The three times I visited the food was very good. It also has an ice cream stand in the center of the restaurant. A good option if the other popular place down the street (Solea's) is too crowded.

Be prepared to have authentic Mexican fare. Most of the times I've visited, the patrons are Mexican, which is an excellent sign the food is the real deal. The tamales I had tasted like my friend's mom's recipe. The menu is extensive compared to the other Mexican restaurants in the area. Not adventurous enough to have authentic fare? They also have popular American-influenced dishes like fajita chimichangas. Eat here.

It was one of my favorite places... now not so much yes the food is good but the service is terrible. The server can get our order right. And the online menu is not UK updated and they wont honor the price instead they'll argue it with the customers. When in to order and they change the whole menu just recently and increased all their prices. 12.99 for a lunch torta? No way! Used to be a quick bite taqueria kinda place now that's why was popular.

Frustrated!! Been here many times, spent a lot of money and always had good service. Today, I was grossly overcharged and when I questioned the staff, there were looks of confusion and no answers spanning the 10 minutes I waited for my food. There was an attempt however to issue me some kind of refund as I was walking out the door, but I let the frustration get the better of me and kept walking. $3.50 for a steak taco with cheese...ouch! I bought 4 tacos, side of beans and large drink $21.53. Too much.

So I had heard the name "Chicken Palace" a lot. Had no idea until recently that it was an authentic Mexican restaurant! I honestly thought it was a fried chicken place. I have been here a few times now so I think its finally time to review. Food- The food is flavorful with lots of spices. All the meats have lots of flavor as well. I have had the tacos, enchiladas, fajitas. They are all amazing. I ate a lot of Mexican food in Texas which is mainly Tex-Mex down there and many dishes reminds me a lot of dishes I would get down there. It's the best Mexican food I have had in the area and to be honest I love the others as well but this one is just the best. Drinks- Havent had too many drinks but the Horchata is some of the best Horchata I have had. They also have many fruit flavored waters that are just fruit and water and are delicious. Service- Service is always amazing here. I have always gotten sat quickly. Order taken promptly. Food comes out quickly and the hot foods are always hot and the cold foods cold. Servers are always willing to recommend a dish. Servers check on you regularly and make sure drinks are filled. If you are looking for some amazing, authentic Mexican food. Chicken Palace (Chicken Grill) is the place to do that. You will not be disappointed by anything you order.

The only perk is the prices and nice staff. However the food is anything but authentic unless you consider watery beans, microwaved rice, and soggy meat as the real deal. I'm still wondering to this day how you can turn beef into sludge. Just go to the OTHER Mexican restaurant in town across from family dollar.

I was totally surprised by this place. It looks a little rundown on the outside and like a weird fast-food--BUT the food is great. You can actually sit down and the menu is pretty impressive. Never buying ice cream at this place again, I stopped over last week to get a mangoneada I stood there for 10 mi and finally aa waitress came over just to tell me to wait because they were so busy I counted 10 tables with people 3-4 at each table and there were 4 waitresses and 2 people in the kitchen, like really how many employees are needed to run that place

Best authentic Mexican food in the valley! There have been Soo many restaurants at this location that have tried and failed. I see exactly why chicken palace has not failed and probably never will. Great food and an AMAZING selection of authentic Mexican deserts and ice cream. I'd rate 10 stars if I could! I know it sounds super basic but you need to try the steak tacos with onions cilantro and salsa Verde.

Favs include - bean soup, homemade salsa n chips, margis and especially their hand crafted artisian popsicles, juices and authentic tropical sorbet and ice cream flavors...such as - tropical mamay, guayaba, ( wan-na-ben-a) mango, tamorindo-tastes like ice tea/Arnold palmer! All delish - try em all!!! Great place to stop in on a hot summer day with the family ...or in the evening for a cocktail. The food is great !!!

One of my favorite places to eat. Food is DELICIOUS! AND the salsa options...brilliant and tasty. I'd say carnitas are my favorite...but everything I've tried is my favorite. I'd get the horchata too. There's an ice cream bari ifthat's your thing. Haven't tried it yet, so I can't speak to it. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Prices are pretty good, too.

This is becoming my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is so authentic and delicious. The service is a bit unreliable, sometimes good, sometimes terribly slow. However, the food makes up for it. The Pozole soup is simply fantastic; I could eat it every day. The drinks are generous, try a michelada, so good. I've eaten in and gotten take out, and it's all great. They also have a very impressive ice cream counter with lots of cold Mexican treats. Try a mangonada. Go to the Chicken Palace!

This place is pretty good and offers a large variety of foods, a large menu overall. They also offer a Taco Johns-style salsa bar in which they have several salsas that range in flavors and spice. It's not the cheapest Mexican food around, but the portions are decently large. I had three tacos and each were good in their regards. The one thing stopping me from rating this place a 5-star is that our service was a little slow, but friendly nonetheless.
