Bar area was surprisingly dark when I first walked in. Not a real issue, but it just seem to hit me. We visited around noon. I thought their draft beer selections were pretty good. I tried and really liked the Polish Moon. The food was good and so was our server. Reasonably priced, I would recommend them for sure.

I gave it a 1 star because I dont know how to not give it any stars. Terrible cold food! I cant express how cold the food was and the resturant was cold. We tried it for the second time because my husband liked it, but he likes food period! And it was terrible again. The staff 1 star. They didnt want yo take anything off the bill when we didnt eat anything

The courtesy and humorous polite gestures by the owner are delightful. Aside the prior, the food I order is always correct, and has quite a taste. I would recommend the strong majority of ideal items on the menu. That being stated, I feel as if having a connection with the waiter/waitress lays an effect on my service, with not being taken seriously. This not being to disgrace the service, I find some of the employees very responsible. Overall a nice atmosphere and I would recommend this place.

When we first walked in we were greeted by a hostess with a genuine smile, and she took us directly to a table. Within a minute our waitress was there to get our beverage order and to find out if we wanted to order off the menu or do the buffet. We chose the buffet. The food here is absolutely the best! They had 4 different batterfried fish and some steamed fish, along with broasted chicken, BBQ spare ribs, shrimp, potatoes, salad bar and some deserts. All the staff were always smiling at the customers, and our waitress, Katie S., was super attentive and asked if we needed refills and wanted to know if there was anything she could do. When we were finished she gave us the bill and we walked to the front, paid, and told thank you for eating with them and to have a great evening. We will definitely be stopping there again when we are in the area.

Stopped there on the way home from a camping weekend, thought a buffet sounded good. There was not one thing on the hot meal side that was edible. The meatballs were like warm, the chicken dried out, the bbq pork was ham swimming in watered down sauce, the cheese curds were hollow (no cheese just breading) the pizza was disgusting. I kept trying something and when it was nasty, I would just try something else. The salad and soup were fine. and the desserts were just okay. 16 bucks with a soda, and then a tip on top. A roller dog from the 7-11 would have truly been better. I really hate building the place up by giving it one star!

The Friday buffet is terrible. The ice machine has probably never been cleaned, As it makes the water taste moldy. The perch is ok, and the popcorn shrimp was ok. Good tarter sauce. Roast beef looked good, but it was dry and gross.

A good restaurant, with an all-you-can-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner (for sure on weekends), my wife and I stop just about any time we head north or south and need something to eat. Food is good, with an adequate selection. Staff is friendly and appear to be happy. We find the place clean and usually quiet.

Convenient location good service friendly staff and very clean. I wasnt only impressed by the homeyness, but also by the employees activity in the community and preservation of family orientated business. Being a vegan It's hard for me to give a 5 star rating to any restaurant more so because they had no vegan or vegetarian options listed on the menu; however I was plesently surprised with a good looking all you can eat salad bar offering all 9 essential amino acids to satisfy any plant based diet for only 11 bucks! With that being said I had my mind set on a 4 star rating, but I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners(Laura if I remember correctly) who was even more personable than her employees, a very good sense of customer service and in general hospitality. Keep up the good work!

Huge selection of bottled beers and several good taps. Went for the Friday Fish Fry and ended up having the Fish Tacos, which I highly recommend! Good food with fast serivice. They offer a Sunday buffet. We had Wisconsin burger and a southwest chicken wrap. Both were good. Both fries an DC chips were tasty. They have diet Mountain Dew as one of their Pepsi products which we all enjoy. Was busy but no wait and quick service.

Great place. Broasted chicken was really good. Loved the homemade desserts. Inside is a dark interior and the bathroom is not in the greatest place especially when people give you the stink eye when you try to get past them by the bar. Friendly staff and we would go back.

My mother and I have stopped here twice on our way back home from events in Milwaukee. I'm all for the supper club/kitschy diner experience in general, and this place kind of does a fusion of those. There's a salad bar, dessert bar, and buffet if that's your thing. I love that the desserts usually look like the kind of bars you'd see on display at my family's Christmas gathering.... lemon bars, k-bars, seven layer bars, etc. We went on a Sunday evening and the place had lots of tables filled with customers, families, older couples, etc. It has a separate bar area and a dining area. My stars are for the experience, the service, and the food. You get the feeling they have lots of local regulars, people are chatting like it's Sunday after church. We had a young waitress who was very attentive to our needs and overall very good. For a restaurant stop right off the interstate in a fairly small town, we've come away very satisfied. Their burgers are great, with toasted buns and LOCAL CHEESE. Salads are iceberg lettuce based, but I personally have come to crave that crunch every once in a while. If you're looking for a cozy local experience I'd give it a try. The environment feels super welcoming. We'd definitely come back. They even have the classic dessert drinks like grasshoppers and Brandy Alexanders on the menu which I think is kinda fun. If we didn't have to drive two hours more I would've sucked one of those down. ha.

Five stars...in context. This is a casual, local American restaurant. I sat in the bar area, but they have a regular dining room. 6 beers on tap. Huge selection of bottled craft beer. Very friendly service, which is not surprising for rural Wisconsin. Food came quickly. I had a homemade pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious. Recommended.

After driving past for years, we decided to stop by. The menu promised juicy burgers, fresh cut fries, and friendly service. My burger was a typical sysco 1/4 pound paper thin patty cooked to cardboard gray, but cold. My husband's "grass fed" burger was super dry and flavorless. It had the little cross hatch press marks of a factory formed frozen patty, not hand formed as we had been lead to believe. He ordered the one with the egg, and the egg was hard and dry. His bacon was missing and his fried onions were cold. The rolls they were served on were good! The fried were white and still partially frozen. The waitress came to deliver waters, the food, and check. Never asked how anything was. It wasnt busy, but Im guessing she forget to get our food when it was read, hence the cold everything. Total waste of $24 for 2 burgers and 2 glasses of water. Now we know, and will not be returning.

Service was so slow. We came in right when they were switching from breakfast to lunch buffet. We were seated in this back room that you could tell is used for special events and gathering. I feel like we were sat back there and forgot about. It took our waitress about 20 minutes just to come say hi. After the waitress told us to help ourselves to the buffet, it wasn't until we were almost done with our meal that our drinks were finally brought. Just unacceptable.

Traveling through beautiful Wisconsin. Stopped in for a beer and a nice meal. I ordered a beer and a phillycheese steak. Beer was pretty good. Philly cheesesteak felt more like a roast beef sandwich microwaved. It wasn't the best. Customer service is mediocre at best. My bartender server was mostly out of touch with her phone and other co-workers. She wasnt rude just not very engaged. Customer service probably needs a few trainings.
