We've been going there for the past year and a half or so. The fish fry is top notch as are the weekly specials and burgers at the bar are amazing. That said, service has been going downhill. Wait staff seems to come and go. People, including us, have waited for 10 minutes for a waitress to show up at the table at 4:25PM with no crowd. We did get a our drink order in and food order finally, then waited 35 minutes with no food arriving. Waitress apparently held onto our food order for over 16 minutes before placing it into the kitchen. After being there over 40 minutes still no food, while others who arrived 20 minutes after we did, were getting their food. We were told by another snippy waitress that our food order was only placed 12 minutes ago after waiting nearly 40 minutes. Why did our waitress carry our food order around for some 16 minutes before placing it? There are some very nice wait staff, one older gent, one or two efficient and polite women waitresses, and then there are two or three you should hope you do not get. Either speak too fast, don't listen to what you are ordering and have to start all over or just kind of pushy and rude. Then there are one or two who should not be waiting on tables. Slow, forget things , like carrying around your food order for 16 minutes before getting it into que for the kitchen to prepare. Excuses were made that it "got busy", but other people who arrived 20 minutes after us were getting served their food. Sad to have written this. We had really come to like Boundaries, but something is amiss here lately. Do not understand that there appeared to be at least 5 or 6 wait staff on the dining floor and service was so messed up.

If you want a rustic and good ol Wisconsin atmosphere, boundaries is the place for you! Chelsea is so personal and one of the best bartenders there. I have had multiple old fashions there made by different bartenders and they tasted amazing every single time! DONT HESITATE ON THIS PLACE!

We heard they had good food so we came there tonight for prime rib. Our entire table ordered prime rib, we got rare to medium rare. It all came out well done and we were told that the chef just cooks it all the same. It was so well done that I just kept chewing it and finally spit it out. No reimbursement or anything. Disappointing. If I'm going to pay $20 a plate and it's that's low will quality, that's absurd. I'll stick to my supper clubs.

What What a great stop here. Cool country wood theme and totally awesome food. Broasted chicken, blue gill, burgers, potato wedges. Blue gill was on special just 6.99 with weges or fries. The portabella mushroom appetizer was awesome and they make their own Ranch dressing, the perfect compliment. Our waiter Jimmie was charismatic and kept on top of our needs. Even the kitchen staff was friendly. Definitely a hidden jem between janesville and beloit wi. Sometimes there are bands too. Lots of good things to say about this place definite.

Poor service and food. Fish fry was a bust, the reuben was okay (not worth the price). They have good wood work in the bathroom but the wood work in the bar was very shotty. Mediocre place, not worth a second visit.

We had a very nice time there at Boundaries at the Magic Mike's XXL show tonight!! A pleasantly clean place with a great atmosphere, drinks and the dancers were excellent!!!

We attended a wedding there in the pavilion which was decorated beautifully and very clean! Inside the birch room was the reception. It was very spacious and well lit. Plenty of room for DJ, head table, 6 sets of tables that seated 10 or more. And a very large dinner buffet. The food was amazing and never ran out. The staff were extremely pleasant, even swept the floor under where my 1 yr old ate dinner. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well supplied with anything you could need! Overall it was a beautiful venue! Would definitely recommend to anybody plannin a wedding or large party!

My family and I were there about a month ago and the food was alright, but the service was fantastic. We have now been back twice in the past 2 weeks and the food is still the same, however the service was horrible. We unfortunately had the same obnoxious horrible waitress both times. She was extremely loud and very inappropriate. We could here her clear as day talking to her fellow employees even though we were on the other side of the dining room. She was using profanity and treating the other staff horribly.. I felt horrible for them. Needless to say we won't be going back.

Had over 180 people for our 40th Class Reunion. The bar food has always been pretty good but the banquet food was horrible. The beef was good, chicken was bland and dry, the boxed augratin potatoes were dry and tasteless and the salads sucked. We paid $19 per plate and it was embarrassing to serve that at our reunion. If you are planning a wedding reception or reunion, look elsewhere. Plus we only had one slow bartender for most the night for that many people, Took 15 mins and more to get a drink. He had a helper once in awhile, then he would disappear. I'll make sure we won't be back for our 50th!

Great Time! I have not made reviews in the past, but I decided this was worth the review. I have been here a few times and the most recent being this past Monday night. The atmosphere is country themed and comfortable, except the bar stools make you feel like your sliding off. The bartenders were great in entertaining us, being personable and made the night fun. We were playing it by ear for the evening and they had us staying longer than we anticipated. Bring back the bands and I will be meeting friends here more often.
