A high end place to grab bite to eat for lunch or dinner, located just off the beltline. A wide selection of dishes to choose from. Bonfyre offers salads, sandwiches, stakes, and bowls. There are vegetarian options along with gluten free as well. The veggie black bean burger is good. For a side the roasted red potatoes I would recommend. Nice open bar to sit at while you wait for your table. Good beer and cocktail selection. Service is very good, friendly, and attentive. Extra parking in the ramp is available in the back if you can't find a spot out front. It can get a bit loud when it is busy so it can be hard to hold a conversation. The cheesecake mousse dessert is amazing. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Besides the occasional seating mistake by a host, this is my favorite go-to spot for business lunches. They need more booths, but it's right off the Beltline, so it's a handy location. After a dozen+ visits the food has always been top notch and made exactly to order.

My husband and I have driven past this place 1000x on the beltline. We finally resolved to try it on our one year anniversary. We called ahead and made reservations at 5:30pm for a 6:45 meal, and were seated directly when we arrived. We were greeted promptly by out server, Kayla who was friendly, warm and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of ordering a glass of riesling, which was perfectly chilled. We ordered cheese curds and calamari for appetizers, which were outstanding. Our dinners came in a timely manner. I have to say, people online comment on the herb roasted chicken and say it's amazing - they are absolutely right! Out of all the food we ate, the chicken really stood out. I couldn't give five stars only because I the side dishes couldn't hold up to the star of the plate - that amazing chicken. I would recommend going in to try their chicken, and I can say I will be back to see how their Friday and Saturday morning brunch fare. It's worth your time - just be prepared from your pocket book as it is a bit more costly compared to others.

Seriously, I gave them a chance to respond twice, and they don't care. I was there on a Saturday with two others who were looking forward to the truffle fries (they no longer have)...ok, so we ordered. I had the crab cake Benedict, and what a disappointment. Advertising lump crab and all you receive on a small stale cousaunt and two think sliced silver dollar sized crab cakes. The brunch potatoes were frozen hashbrowns that the cheese sauce had broken and they gave me the burnt corner of the pan which was not edible. My friends food wasn't much better, they ate 1/2 their sandwich and all their Frites. The buger that she asked to be cooked well was SO well, it broke off in crumbs and was super tough. My other friend had the steak sandwich and it was cubes of meat and of really poor quality. She couldn't eat a cubes of meat in the sandwich...who could? We had just gotten done taking a class and we're very hungry and it was about 1:15...not busy at all.

Our only real disappointment was the noise level due to the bar crowd. While I understand that it was a Friday at 6pm, it would have been nice if our reservations had been considered for a quieter table, rather than right next to the bar. Our server, Elicia, took very good care of us and the food was nicely presented and very good. We enjoyed the walleye, pot roast, mixed grill, fillet, and steak sandwich.

My experience here is really bad. I ordered bone-in ribeye and asked for medium. The waiter just gave me the steak without asking me how it was. The steak was cooked almost well-done and I had to ask other waiter to call my waiter. My waiter finally took out my steak. A few minutes later, the waiter brought a new steak for me and it was blue! (Not even rare). She took out again my steak, brought a new one a few minutes later, and the steak was cooked rare. I was so disappointed that the restaurant couldn't even cook medium for 3 times. This is not good at all! The only good thing from this restaurant is the food presentation

Rather an accessible location off the beltline, with convenient parking, this is a reliable happy hour spot. During summer they also setup outdoor seating. Service is friendly, professional, prompt and attentive; makes a difference folks! Has a cozy atmosphere and a huge bar area with plenty of seating, as well as high tops and other tables. Wide selection on their drink menu for both beers and wine. Food is ok, good enough to accompany drinks but not for fine dining. Check it out, enjoy!

Bonfyre has a great environment with great food following suit. The drinks are always good, the portions are large, and the food is cooked perfectly. I always enjoy stopping in here with a group of friends, or dinner with family before a show.

Went to this restaurant on New Years Eve. It was my first time visiting this place. We had reservations. Once we were seated we were greeted by our server. She told us the special and asked us what we wanted to drink. I was planning on ordering a bottle of wine and had some questions. I understand that she may of had to go ask the bartender for the answer. She just seemed very overwhelmed. Now on a night like New Years Eve a restaurant should have all their best servers on or at least make sure the staff is prepared. As far as the food....It was delicious. All four of us had different entrees. Scallops, prime rib, new york strip, and jambalaya. Could of asked for anything to be different. I will definitely want to eat there again!!

This has become our new favorite spot out for date night! The atmosphere is a perfect blend of casual and upscale. Prices are a little higher, but I have yet to eat something that wasn't delicious and totally worth it there! I've only had "poor" service here one time (we sat for 15+ minutes without being greeted, while the waiter walked past us over and over) but we just moved to the bar and told the bartender, and she comped our first round of drinks which made up for it.

Have been here many times and we love the food. Consistently good food and service, and their take out service is fast. The butternut squash soup is amazing and the flatbreads are big enough for two to share. For appetizers try the truffle fries and the coconut curry mussels, you will likely not be disappointed.

We have been planning on trying this place for a while, and we lamented not going sooner! The atmosphere was lovely, beautiful decor, not to many televisions. The food was stunning, the curds had a beer stout batter, the blue cheese and pepper jack sauce was amazing with the curds. We ordered two smaller plates and the portions were plenty and then some. The steak was so so good we both probably had a bit to much but it was so good we didn't want to put the forks down. Will be back here!

I ordered the ribeye it was $38 and not as good as I expected it to be. My partner ordered the ribs and they were really good not too sauced and not under sauced. Always a great atmosphere and good food. The lobster ravioli was good, the scallops were great, cheese curds are soft and the batter is amazing... and if you've never had the grilled romaine salad..it's a must! Trust me. The calamari was different, not what I'm used to. They were really thick and actually reminded me of mozzarella sticks..with the batter and marinara. I only ate a few. I had a great glass of Pinot Nior called Rainbow.. It was wonderful. They also were gracious enough to customize a meal for me that wasn't on the menu. Will definitely be back.

Out for daughters birthday all of us ordered steak, the rib eye was so salty I could not eat it. Told the waitress, she got the manager, he came over and was as rude as he could be then walked away. No re-fire the steak because he said I ate some of it. So don't try it before you send it back apparently. I have been here many times and had great service and food but this will be the last time we come here! I will be calling corp to let them know how their staff treats their customers after a $200 dinner!

Service was fine, but there were some big flaws with the food. While my entree was fine, the toast served with it had mold on one of the crusts. The mold was about the size of a pencil eraser. So while, not a huge, certainly noticeable, and irregardless...mold! I also had a piece of eggshell in my entree (a hash). If this had been a small piece of eggshell, I would not have given it any thought, as I know that can happen, but this was a piece of eggshell the size of a quarter. I set both the moldy piece of bread and the eggshell on a plate to show the server. After seeing them, and without a comment on either, she asked if she could take the plate. I assumed she was going to show the manager, but I have no way of knowing for sure, as nothing was said about it after she took it. I sure do hope they threw that bread away though. UPDATE 2/28: Bonfyre reached out to me immediately after my review and promised to make the situation right. A month has now passed and they never did what they said they would do. I have emailed them twice (thinking that a mistake had been made), but have gotten no response to either email. UPDATE 3/12: The promised certificate arrived. Thanks.

Good food but not worth the higher prices. Haven't had the steak, but if you're coming here for anything else, I'd say the quality isn't that much better than a run of the mill American sit down restaurant to warrant the extra expense. I came here with a family member who was paying for our group, but if you're the one footing the bill, I'd say it's not worth it. With that said, I ordered the Crab Cakes appetizer as my entree. They were delicious, and I would recommend them -- except that for two crab cakes, it was $17. Plus higher end on cocktail prices. Overall, if you choose to eat here, it's easy to find pretty good food.

We are a server friendly group, tipping generously because we have several servers in our family, but this young woman was unpleasant from the moment we walked in, borderline hostile at times. We were a pretty straight forward group, simple orders, no extras. She let us know that she was doing us a favor by serving us. Wow, I don't think that I have EVER had a server like her.

Have been going here with decreasing frequency over the past couple of years. Bar service has turned very poor, in my opinion. A second drink takes too long, no silverware served with meal, etc. Even the sizes of the apps seems to have shrunk. I really want to like this place, though it is difficult based solely on the bar service.

Out for daughters birthday all of us ordered steak, the rib eye was so salty I could not eat it. Told the waitress, she got the manager, he came over and was as rude as he could be then walked away. No re-fire the steak because he said I ate some of it. So don't try it before you send it back apparently. I have been here many times and had great service and food but this will be the last time we come here! I will be calling corp to let them know how their staff treats their customers after a $200 dinner!

Great restaurant that never disappoints! The atmosphere is modern and casual. It’s great for lunch, dinner and happy hour! The food is fantastic and you can’t really make a wrong choice - from spinach and artichoke dip, kale salad with chicken, ahi tuna, steak and seafood - it’s all delicious! Service is quick and very friendly. Great selection of wine, beer and cocktails.

Came here for some afternoon cocktails on a Saturday. The cocktails were very good as well as the atmosphere. The bar tender was a bit aloof and not very attentive. I thought that was strange given how quiet the restaurant was at the time.

It was a beautiful restaurant from what I could tell (it’s a pretty dim setting, but it sets a decent ambience). However, we had 8:00PM reservations, showed up at 7:45PM and waited until 8:25PM to sit. We weren’t exactly rewarded for our wait, either. The food was decent, but failed to meet the lofty expectations set by themselves and local critics alike. It was also rather expensive for the quality of the ingredients, maybe 10-15% in excess cost. They might benefit from reducing the size of the menu in order to put more focus into the quality and flavor of their food.

I was drawn to Bonfyre by the sweet smell of the barbecue. I went in and ordered the full slab. The most delicious and tender ribs I've had in recent memory. I'd rate it a 10.

This place is hit or miss. Service is either great or horrible. Atmosphere is either nice or filled with flies. Food is either great or nothing special. I recommend the fish stew and truffle fries on a good day, but just not going on a bad day. Problem is, you never know what kind of day they are having until after you're there.

We've been there several times. Only the Holiday menu was offered so a couple favorite choices weren't available but everything we chose was well prepared and very good. Nice atmosphere too. We'll be back.
