Soft tofu menu was great, server was very kind and friendly. Previous Beef thin brisket was very good to try, so today I ordered it again with expecting. Unfortunately, it was not like last time. Very very very small portion, almost 2 or 3 times of side dish portions if they have this for side dish. Also beef is very thin cut, but it came out with little overcooked. I regretted, so I asked the lady about the price maybe it's cheaper for lunch, she told me it's same price, it looks small because beef is too thin. I thought it has to be more if beef is too thin, I didn't say anything. I ordered this today because I remember it was really good last time but it did not work today. If I knew what it was, then I wouldn't have to order this today for $16.50, I felt that I just wasted money for this.

If I could give this restaurant 0 star I definitely would!! It was most terrifying, gross experience ever in my life at a restaurant! I went to this restaurant with my mom yesterday. We ordered hot pot bibimbop and tofu soup. Everything was fine until I chew something out of my bowl. It was a big nasty sharp, a hard metal in my mouth! I vomited out from my throat(thank god I didn't swallow that thing down! Also thinking what could've happened if any kids ate that thing!) and almost immediately I called waitress to show her what I found in my bowl. When she came, she took my bowl showed it to her staff and came back with apologies but when I asked to call owner she said the owner is not in the state. I told her that I would call 911 if I don't get to talk to owner. Then she called someone and I waited there almost 30min to meet this guy. He took us to this coffee shop and kept on saying "sorry" he admitted that it is crazy and unacceptable to find that kind of objects in foods. I told him that this is a serious problem especially for anyone who is in restaurant business feeding other people and it could've killed someone! I also added I am going to report this to health dept. He took my number and I left that place. When I came back home I couldn't eat anything that day because it grossed me out all day! Well, here is the worst part. This morning another person called me and I said who am I talking to and he didn't say who he was he just said he is just related person to the business. He absolutely had NO manner who sounded very nasty, annoyed and he almost scolded me about how I was making a big deal out of finding a huge piece of metal in my bowl. He told me to do whatever I want to do to make myself happy!!

I received a recommendation from a friend to go try this place and could not be happier. My husband and I went there for our date night and found the restaurant packed. We were seated promptly and although unfamiliar with the menu, felt welcome by the manager to ask questions. The menu was short but seemed well thought out. We ordered stir fried calamari and seafood tofu soup. Prior to the food being brought out, there were tons of pickled sides including kimchi to eat with our meal. The soup and calamari were served boiling/steaming hot on cast iron. The manager offered us suggestions on how to eat the different sides and generally made us feel very comfortable going to a traditional Korean restaurant. He let us know that if we ran out of any of our pickled sides we were more than welcome to ask for more. The food was tasty and very flavorful. Will definitely come back. Service exceeded expectations.

Fantastic Korean food, they are known for their hot tofu pots, which cram a ton of flavor into individualized hot pots. They have the classic Korean appetizers to go with your meal, all of which are well made and plentiful. Also, maybe the best bibimbap I've ever had (a mix of rice, meat, sauce, veggies, and egg which you stir together).

Nice selection of Korean food such as the tofu soup, kalbi, the pancake. They grill it in the back which is fine. Your clothes don't end up smelling like grilled beef. The downer was the kimchi was okay as the accompanying selection of pan Jun was a bit lack luster. Its a good choice for around the Chantilly/Centerville area if you don't want to trek to Annandale for for really super Korean cuisine.

I frequent Vit Goel at least once a month for good Korean Tofu Stew. The layout is a bit cramped with lots of tables and semi narrow walkways between them but never so tight you cant easily get in or out of your seat. The decor is fairly standard for a small Korean restaurant in a strip mall setting. The service is always fantastic especially if you go a few times and they start to remember who you are. As for the food, most of the time we get an order of their galbi which is honestly better than some of the specialty places and one or two bowls of sundubu to share. They offer a range of spice levels and all can be very flavorful so you don't miss out on the taste as well. The apps are decent but the real stars here are the galbi and stews. Also if you like it hot you can always try the angry chicken.

Didn't have soup hot enough to cook the eggs and after asking for heating it it basically burnt it and dehydrated it to the point where it looked and tasted like bird feces. After asking for another one they took about 30 mins for it to not come. I'm still waiting for it.

Crack the raw egg in, mix it up, and enjoy. Pairs well with the assortment of sides (banchan) that come with it.

Delicious food, but very spicy. I ordered the tofu soup with mixed vegetables and asked to make the spices very mild. I was so upset when I took my first spoonful of soup and found that their “mild” is what I consider very strong/ very hot. I could only eat a few spoonfuls before my lips started hurting and I ran out of water to drink. If the soup wasn’t so spicy I would have easily eaten the entire bowl, as the tofu was delicious, but unfortunately it was just way too spicy for me. I might try going back there and asking to have something without any spices to see if that helps.

Nothing special, nothing different than light house. Light house tofu is better. Tofu soup is same. We tried steam dumpling, pork and oyster tofu and spicy pork. Pork soup smelled little and the spicy pork was mostly the sauce n not much meat. Dumpling was not hand made it was froaen ones from markeket. Overall eatable. We ate because we didn't want to waste money.

One of the finest places to chill and hang out especially during cool seasons. I always order the same menu every time I stop by and always had the same taste, same quality. It is crowded almost everyday so it's not always easy to find seats if you're going there with a group but it's definitely worth the wait.

Food is good but the price is too high for tofu soup. The amount of tofu that goes in the soup is about 10 cents but they charge over 10 dollars for it. Also their meat dish is way over priced.
