My wife and I both had the Triple Delight which was a combination dinner with steak, shrimp, and chicken with vegetables and fried rice. We were there in the afternoon and the fried rice wasn't real fresh, like it had been setting around awhile. Also they could have put in one or two more shrimp (I think there were only three pieces). Other than that it was pretty tasty. I enjoyed it more so than the wife. The waiter was very courteous and helpful.

The curry is good. But the Vietnamese spring roll is horrible. The Thai and Chinese food are the way to go for here. Sushi seems mediocre at best.

My yellow thai curry smelled really bad. I noticed the bamboo shoots that I ask them to add were the culprit of the bad smell. I honestly can't believe I ate all of it minus the bamboo shoots. After reading these reviews, I'm also worried about food poisoning because I got shrimp in my curry. I asked for Thai hot, and there was no noticeable spice. I asked for extra peppers on the side because at least that could make it better, and they weren't sufficient, and the staff said they couldn't give me more than the two small bowls that they gave me. They seemed way understaffed, especially for a Saturday night at 7pm. My meal was only $13, and I tipped my server $8 because I felt bad for him. Whoever's running this place needs to care more about their staff and customers.

I always love coming here when we want to have a sit down Chinese dinner... It makes all the difference. We ordered the General Tso's and Chicken Pad Thai for the entree. The General Tso's was awesome as usual and has such a nice heat kick. The Chicken Pad Thai was good but we felt the noodles used didn't hold onto the sauce as is should've. For the appetizers, we got the fried dumplings, a Volcano sushi roll, and Fuji Apple Sake which were excellent and fresh!

Great Thai Spicy Noodle Bowls Noël Teel and I had a late lunch at "Taste of Asia" in South Charleston. I have been wanting to go here for a while. Free parking is always good. Inside the interior was lovely, but nothing spectacular and over the top, actually more cozy, intimate with a touch of the Orient. Loved it!! They took us to a booth near the back. After looking over the menu, she went with a seafood entree of lo mein with shrimp and scallops and a bowl

I had the worst experience for service in my life. Our american waiter was very rude and his service was worst. Half food was awesome but had to send back burnt chicken. He actually tasted and said it tasted fine to him. I then told him he could eat it. I have been to this place at least ten times and had never been treatef so poorly. Will never go back or spend another penny there. My daughter told me I should still leave a tip and take the high road. Cant believe I did. I felt like I rewarded bad behavior and service. Never going back.

The staff were very attentive and very helpful when it came to making food and drink selections. All of our food was brought out hot and the waitress was on top of refills during the entire meal. I marked it four stars because I do find it to be a little bit on the pricey side for what it is, but I'm also not the biggest fan of Asian food. If you love Asian food this is the place to go. The dining area is small so it feels more like you're at home than at a big restaurant.

I think their food is pretty good, after moving to WV from Philadelphia where there are loads of great restaurants, this became one of my reliable favorites. Not great but good Chinese, Japanese, Sushi, Thai. Wish there were more Thai choices around Charleston though. They used to deliver and I was disappointed when they stopped. Service and decor are nice enough in my experience.

The one star is for the service and tea, which were excellent. The food, however, was beyond atrocious; we ordered the pad thai and we weren't expecting it to be authentic, but what we got was limp rice noodles and overcooked shrimp that smelled fishy and tasted off. It was all swimming in a pool of sour, neon orange sauce and served with lemon. It was an insult to Thai cuisine. For $11.99, we received small portions and bad shrimp. If it wasn't so overcooked, I'd have been more worried about food poisoning.

Today I went to Taste of Asia for lunch with 2 coworkers. I ordered shrimp with cashew. The plate that was placed before me was shrimp, celery, and peanuts. My coworker ordered orange chicken and was given general tso's chicken. It took us almost an hour to be served our food when people who were seated well after us had already been served. It will be awhile before I go back to this restaurant.

Went here for the first time, and it was great for the most part. The amount of food you get for the price is excellent. The food for the most part tastes delicious. I just didn't like the pork egg rolls(it tasted like fish?). The only real complaint I have is about the waitress we got. Our waitress didn't check in with us at all. The only thing she did was give us our drinks, disappeared, and 45mins later served us our appetizer and meal. She then disappeared after that AGAIN and didn't check with us to see if we needed any refills etc. We ended up getting another waitresses' attention and she waited on us the majority of the time until the other waitress gave us the bill. and no for the first time in my life I did not tip the whole percentage only because I didn't think it was deserved **I want to note, I understand that maybe the waitress might have been a little busy with other tables(which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 2 or 3), HOWEVER not once in the 1st 45 minutes of waiting or in the time after our meal was served did she think to see if we needed any refills or anything!!!. After waiting 36 minutes for her to come back, we finally decided to just get another women's attention -whom was busy cleaning at the time. Graciously, the woman apologized for the other waitress, fetched us our refills, and even after that went OUT OF HER WAY to check on on us periodically through-out the rest of the evening... Since this was my first/only experience with this restaurant I will not judge it too harshly but if it happens again I will lower the rating on this review.
