This Restaurant is classified in the category of Cafe.
Great cafe the sandwiches where perfect. Friendly staff. The bread was freshly baked at the cafe.
Farm to table freshness you can taste. Excellent service. Chicken salad was delicious and it was a pretty damn good BLT.
This place has really great food and casual environment. I loved the cod fish tacos and it’s awesome so much is made in house - you can really taste the difference.
Excellent food and service, quaint facility, reservations a must for dinner.
Amazing chef that will create a masterpiece that will fill you up, and you'll want to take some home for later! Absolutely the Best BLT. If your in Lewisburg you need to go to Stardust!
Awesome food and service!
Cozy setting, great food, fantastic desserts.
It would have 5 stars but the spinach was too salty for me.
Wonderful lunch dining experience today. Had the butternut squash soup and the sausage and cheese sandwich on ciabatta. The soup was very good and the sandwich was fantastic! Can't wait to go back again. Some would say a little pricey, but I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Great service and the best steak in years (local, grass fed)!
Just had the local sausage and kraut sandwich, and I am blown away. The sausage was perfectly flavored and textured, the kraut was easily the best I've had outside of Alsace, and the plum chutney, stone ground mustard, and red onion all complemented each other to perfection. This sandwich belongs in a museum.
Decent food and service.
Very nice place. Delicious food and friendly service. The handmade sodas are very good. I had Mandarin orange.
Very cool little restaurant in a charming small town. Not what you would expect in that area of the country
Great food, lovely ambience, friendly staff...well worth your time.
I would drive an hour to eat here. Great food and service.
I'd love to have given the Stardust a better rating as the food was delicious and service was okay. But with a particular staff member being condescending as soon as you walk through the door, I was left thinking I should have went elsewhere.
Great coffee and dessert.
Excellent BLT AND Panini. Great food, great service at a fair price! Totally enjoyed it!
Great food
Great! I had the fish tacos and a wonderful dessert. Outstanding service and they were pretty busy at lunch hour. The owner is a wonderful person and I highly recommend the Star Dust Cafe! I will be back for sure.
Unbelievably good.. great food, no excellent food, if you are in the area and want great food with world class flavor and classy ambiance yet Not stuffy... give this place a try
Picked the place just walking by... Completely satisfied. Very eclectic menu with good flavors.
Amazing Sea Bass special, super hip place. Reminds me of local Cafés in Austin that support their local farmers. Diverse staff is always a plus
Best food in the area that is full of hidden gems
Great food, good service, old fashioned decor.
Good upscale local eatery. All about their alcohol - and I'm not a drinker so really didn't work for me. Even my salad had a wine reduction in it. The entree was really good though.
The food is great and proportions as they should be. Will be back when I come through again.
Amazing menu - had lunch with my parents and we really enjoyed it. Great selection of specialty beers from Rogue Ales. It is not often you see the 22oz. bottles available in restaurant, so I was very excited. What a beautiful place.
Food. Was. Phenomenal. Who knew WV had such an amazing little restaurant :)
A delightful place to enjoy exceptional and creative food. My wife and I totally enjoyed our visit. Service great too. Best most unusual grilled chicken sandwich ever had.
Had chicken soup with chickpeas and the caper berry smoked trout salad. Both were great. Very fresh and nicely seasoned. Comfy cafe atmosphere and pleasant, attentive staff. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert is the BEST!
Had one of the best chicken panini ever here.
Excellently prepared meal. Great atmosphere.
Eclectic menu, awesome food and talented servers. Helped me make a menu offering more keto friendly.
Loved the butternut squash soup!
So on a lark, I decided to visit Lewisburg as I was tooling down the highway back to Texas and this place was recommended to me by a local at the visitors center. It's a farm to table cafe, so prices are a little on the higher side but the service was quick and friendly and the food was top quality and they had some of the best coffee I've ever had. So if you don't mind paying a little more for a top-notch experience give them a try.
You have to try the Toffee Pudding!
Very good food. Great desserts.
Great atmosphere but I don't get it. The free bread was great (comes with balsamic and olive oil). We got an appetizer which was the same as the free bread only with roasted red peppers and goat cheese (hard to screw that dish up). They don't have a kids menu but the waitress asked the chef to make our 3 year old a grilled cheese. That was the best of the 3 entrees we got (I'm not being facetious...it was a really good grilled cheese). The good ended right after the decent side salads. My ribeye looked good. It was a perfect medium rare. It came with a side of horseradish sauce which I thought was odd. Once I tasted my beautifully cooked steak I understood why it was there. My steak was poorly seasoned and the meat itself lacked flavor. There is no salt or pepper on the tables so you are relegated to the sauce. The greens on the plate were good and the mashed potatoes were meh. I've had much better rib eyes from Walmart. My wife's Sicilian pasta was much the same story. Sausage was seasoned, unlike my steak, but incredibly dry. My wife made the comment that we make better food at home for 1/3 the cost of this meal. I agreed. Basil was present on every dish we had except the salads so you better like basil. Luckily we do. Service was good but the waitress certainly did not exude hospitality. We won't return to this one.
Good environment, food, drinks, and service.
So refreshing to find a restaurant where the food is soooo good and so is the service. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Hot tea!! One of my criteria for a great restaurant. Lunch prices good. Dessert was delicious but on the expensive side. We'll go again next time we're in the Lewisburg area.
Waiter took our order and then decided she needed to leave the building for 45 minutes. No other waiter picked up her slack. So when she came back she said the order had been lost and the food would be up shortly. All things said and done it took an hour an 15 minutes for a panini that I would expect to get at Panerai bread for way cheaper and in a fraction of the time. Don't believe the hype, this place sucks.
Nice fish tacos
Service and food was good the background music in the cafe was very poor.
Delicious food and fantastic ambience
Awesome place. Comfortable. Relaxing. Amy, our server was friendly and professional. Food was very good. Service again was excellent. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Will be back!
Comfortable, wish we could have dined. The barista was super accommodating to slightly different coffee orders, and the lattes were perfect
Just paid 10$ for a small dry tart smaller than my palm
Great lunch! Good local beer on tap.
Best mussels we've ever had. My husband had the standing pork shank and it was delicious. I had the steak and it was perfectly cooked and juicy.
My brother and I enjoyed delicious BLT sandwiches for brunch at the Stardust Cafe and we sat in the sunshine at a table by the front window. The whole grain bread was fresh, as were the tomato and lettuce. I have never had such a tasty BLT, and the thick crispy bacon was crumbled, rather than bacon strips. The Stardust Cafe is quiet and the service was prompt. I am impressed with the cook and other staff. This is one of the best places to eat when in Lewisburg.
Great food great people
The food was exquisite. The flavors were amazingly done well. Only critic, need salt and pepper for the side dishes.
Loved it ! Food was great ! Service was awesome. My first time there. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend.
Honestly, it was better than I ever imagined. Everything was on point. Can't wait till we return to the area!
The restaurant was pricey and the menu was limited and yet I give it 5 stars because the food was excellent the service was good are the restrooms clean. By far the best sauerkraut and sausage sandwich I've ever had.
Pretty simple explanation here:they make great dish's with fresh ingredients that leave you feeling like you just did something good for your body. Service was friendly but a little lacking in details. Quaint sidewalk cafe with nice street views.
Food was ok for the price. Wait staff is condescending.Seems like you're expected to order more than just a coffee even though it's a "cafe".
The best!!!
Good food a service. Farm to plate
I had a summer squash soup and the "Rich Boy" which is a scallop sandwich.
I went here and they didn’t have French fries, and I didn’t ask for salad and they gave me salad. I asked for sprite and they didn’t have sprite,so I turned their hourglass upside down. They did have steak, and nice people.
I was humliated and embarrassed as I wasn't able to order a meal due to a policy that wouldn't let me purchase my dinner and drinks seperately; due to being with my friends and colleagues (party of six policy). Obviously, I left the restaurant while everyone dined. The management was insensitive and demonstrated no compassion toward the situationon my behalf. I would not wish that type of treatment on any patron.
Best food and service in Town. Dinners were eclectic and delicious. Truely creative, fresh and inventive. Don't miss out on the deserts. Our table ordered a sample of deserts and each one was amazing.
The dessert we had was amazing, the coffee was on point and the diner style venue takes you to another place and time. Check it out!
I had the avocado toast and man..the flavor burst was phenominal!!! My man had the local sausage and Kraut....deeelicious!! Thanks for the memory thru Lewisburg!!
Great food and service!! Never disappoints.
Quality
I enjoyed it, they did everything very well.
Menu was too limited very little selection, but what I did get was cooked perfectly. They have home made pasta salad everyday and it's always different, I ended up buying a pound to go!
Food here was phenomenal. Did not expect it either, since it was just a stop on the way from Virginia to Kentucky. Did not disappoint - since I make this trip several times a year, glad we found it. Diamond in the rough for sure! Thanks Yelp! Lol
A small, tucked-away gourmet cafe. In a town of fast-food, this a gem. Lots of farm to table options for lunch. The prices were not cheap, but not outrageous. While I did not try a dessert, they looked tempting under glass. The lunch entrees are served with a side of pasta salad or chips (tortilla corn chips, not potato chips). A lot of unique choices and favorites like BLTs and burgers.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. Well worth the trip!
The food will not disappoint you!
Great place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Come here every time I'm in town.
We got there late on a Friday and had no issues getting a table without reservation. Little pricey, but the food was very good. I order a burger medium but it did come out medium rare though I had no problem with it but just wanted to noting it (everyone had different ideas about what is what). Our service wasn't top notch with the price and the amount of people in the place, though I was still satisfied overall and still tipped above average. I am not a local to the location as I was just passing through during that day (traveling and stop at a hotel for the night).
Always enjoy a good meal at Stardust. Everything homegrown and fresh.
Great fopd
Unique menu, great service, and Jimmy Buffett's "Ellis Dee" was playing, which alone gives them 5 stars.
Stopped in for lunch. We thought the wait staff was very friendly. The food was overpriced, however. The "Worlds Best" BLT was super messy, filled with salty bacon bits instead of a nice smoked thick bacon like you would expect from an expensive restaurant. There were very few choices on the menu. No good choices for those who are gluten free. Hubby ate fish tacos without the flour tortillas. Okay tasting, but $12 for one little piece of fish on lettuce with dressing and a small bit of tortilla chips? Hope this is helpful. The people and cook were very nice.
We stopped in to share a piece of cake and have a coffee. That the flourless chocolate cake was delicious provided small comfort to mediate the terrible cappuccino and the astounding $24.10 bill.
One of the best restaurants in the mid Atlantic. I plan my driving route to get dinner at Stardust Cafe any time I'm remotely close to Lewisburg. The staff is always excellent and the food is at a 5 star level, even compared to major city restaurants. Whatever you do, don't skip the desert.
Top grade menu, reasonably priced, wonderful service
Amazing food. Service was great. Fish Tacos were to die for!
Absolutely everything we ate was incredible! Wait staff was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Love this place, the food are amazing!
We were there for lunch. The food was excellent - fresh and great tasting. Staff is great
$$ The Stardust delivers the goods. They make it all right there and Lewisburg is lucky to have this little place
Great food. Too crowded.
We weren't expecting much from a cafe, but this restaurant is outstanding in all respects. Even the bread before the meal (with a balsamic reduction and some olive oil) astounded.
Rolling into Lewisburg for work, arrived early for Monday lunch. Quickly filled up with people. Food was clean and fantastic. Best BLT tases pretty best to me.
Way too expensive to merit a visit. Wait staff nice, though.
Delicious food! The desert was amazing definitely going back again!
