Very disappointed. This the first Korean restaurant that serves only 2 side dishes and the appetizer photo was very deceiving. Save your hard earned money to eat at real Korean restaurant in Annandale or Centreville.

Highly recommend this hidden Gem! We ordered spicy beef and veggie soup, bibimbap, and friend chicken wings, so tasty and good quality food, the staff are super friendly too. Great experience from the start to the end.

Delicious crispy chicken ( soy sauce based or spicy) Crispy beer. Love the space. Some of the other items on the menu are pricey. Highly recommend donkatsu and hubby enjoys the kalbitang.

Today was our second time here. We were excited to have a Korean restaurant so close to home. On our first visit, I ordered the Prime Ribs. The $27 price tag set my expectations very high but i was disappointed. The marinade was absolutely awesome and the meat was perfectly cooked. Portion was large. The problem was that the meat had so much gristle it was impossible to chew. Maybe it was a bad cut. My wife got kimchee fried rice and it was ok. We took another chance because we were still hopeful. I ordered the Bulgogi and it was awesome. Again, the marinade was phenomenal. The meat was cooked to perfection. Some might find the sauce too sweet or salty, but I loved it. My wife got japchae and we liked it. The bonchon was good. The second visit rehabilitated my view of this place and we will definitely be back. Edit: got takeout for the third visit. Ordered boneless chicken nuggets, chicken legs half hot, half soy, and bibimbop with bulgogi. All was excellent. The bulgogi was tender. The chicken was well fried and delicious. Definitely recommend. This restaurant will enter our regular circuit. Website was beautiful. Ordering online was easy.

Solid choice for lunch or dinner. Came here on a weekday evening when most of the other restaurants started closing. Overall was a great meal and you can see a few others were enjoying that they were still open. Perfectly filled a void that the area has for later than average food. Had several dishes and was great all around.

Love this place. The Korean-style double fried chicken is the standout, but they've also got some other really great dishes. Highly recommend the rice balls. They've got a decent selection of import beer and wine as well.

Really good food. Definitely get mild if you don't want something spicy. The spicy chicken is super spicy! Rice balls are good, and meals come with banchan (pickled radish and kimchi).

Ordered food to go. It was a huge hit with the whole family. Everything arrived hot and well packed. We loved the fried chicken, I enjoyed the spicy squid and pork and the rest of the family loved a mix of rice and soup dishes. Kids made me promise that we will be back.

Nice little Korean restaurant, tucked away in an almost hidden little shopping center. We got the Bulgogi and Spicy Pork lunch special to go and I have to say, it travels quite well. Took us about 10mins to get home, nothing was soggy or bad and the flavors were great, both alone and with rice.

I was excited to try this restaurant because I love Korean food. I went for a late lunch. The place was empty. The server was pleasant. They play Korean music in the background and have a couple of TVs near the bar playing sports. I ordered a Galbi box. It came to the table and looked fantastic until I took a bite of the meat. It was loaded with fat and grizzle. I had a difficult time chewing it and ended up spitting it out. The waiter asked me how it was and I told him the meat was fatty and hard to chew. The sides were Kimchi, white rice, a fried dumpling and a salad. Thank goodness the sides were good. I'm on the fence on this place. I think I may try again but Galbi will not be my next choice.

I've ordered food to go a few times here and overall, I am pleased with the quality and taste. The fried chicken is definitely the best out of the dishes that I've tried. The more traditional Korean dishes and soups were good but there's still plenty of room for improvement. The food is also on the bit expensive side. Somac is a welcome addition to the area given the lack of Korean options nearby. I may still venture out to Chantilly or Centreville once in a while but Somac will just do fine for a quick Korean fix in between.

I had two visits to this place so far. The chicken was very similar to Bonchon Chicken. They were good. The Bulgogi was good too. However, seul lung tang soup was not good at all. I don’t even know why they put that in the menu. There was no noodle, I only saw two pieces of meat, and soup was so blend. I wish they have more side dishes too. Not sure if this place is a bar, a traditional Korean restaurant or Korean style chicken restaurant. I would go back for maybe chicken but not for other dishes. Update: Boneless chicken was super good. Tofu soup tasted like instant packaged soup. Not so good. I guess they are not good with soups. Will defiantly go back for chicken but not soup.

This is a gem. The food is good, freshly prepared, and pleasantly spicy. The soups and iron skillet dishes are great and fill the time while you wait for the freshly prepared WINGS! These are beautiful pieces of chicken perfectly glazed with garlic/soy or spicy sweet glazes. Add some beer and just try to let them cool off before you eat them. Lots of TV screens for sports, and enough floor space for children to move around without being in the way.

Definitely a cool place to try. It's in a shopping mall so it's very nondescript, however the flavors are definitely there. Food is a bit spicy so be aware but otherwise, I eat it again
