Every time my mother and I have dined here it has been nothing but wonderful. Pleasant staff and great food. Just depends on what your looking for. They have a menu as well to order from and serve up cold beer and great ice tea and coffee or sodas to name a few.Try them out I think you will like them.

Went there for lunch and it was fabulous! Service was fast waitress was awesome! Your drink was never empty they filled it when it hit the halfway point. Place was very clean even the bathrooms were good you can look back in the kitchen and all the stainless steel with Shining you could tell that they took pride in their restaurant. I recommend this place food was outstanding fresh good hot! The dessert bar was wonderful I recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice lunch with great service and their servers had Smiles on their face!

Stopped for a bite on the way to SC. We waited over 30 mins for 2 cheeseburgers. The restaurant was not busy. The waitress was pactically a ghost, we had to ask about our food, then she told us the kitchen was under staffed. Couldn't even get a refill on my drink.The food was fine but the service was bad. Looks like it's all kids working there... NEVER AGAIN do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

If you've never been, Shoney's is like Big Boy but better. They have a menu with the usual items (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc.) But the thing that sends them over the top is their buffet bar - it's good sized, has a nice selection of warm and cold items and you can make a full, filling meal from the entrees and sides you can get there easily.

Lacking gluten free meats/food on buffet. They had breaded chicken but not grilled or rotisserie. I rolled the dice and ate a mashed potatoes and corn which had seasoning. I just pray I don't get sick.

We probably should have ordered from the menu. Tried the "all you can eat" bar; which was mostly breakfast food for dinner so I wasn't real thrilled. They did have a soup (both were almost empty) and salad bar, so I gave it 4 stars on this rating.

I don't know why my reviews keep disappearing for this place but I love coming here. I typically come here at least once a week if not twice. The food is always great I typically go for breakfast which shoneys is one of the best places to get breakfast. They have an awesome little steak that you can add to the buffet you can order eggs over easy medium hard off the grill you can order fresh pancakes all kinds of stuff come with the breakfast bar. Steak and mentioned is $3 for a 4 oz steak cooked all you want it and the marinade that's on it is delicious no extra sauce needed

Worst service this morning. We literally could have walked out and been completely unnoticed. Our waitress ignored us and did literally nothing. We waited at least 20 minutes after finishing our meal for our check. She kept walking around and avoiding us. When we did ask for the check she still had not rung it up and it was another good 10 minutes before we finally got it and could leave. We enjoy breakfast here every morning on Sunday but not today. Service was awful. Food was amazing as always.

This location has an all you can eat buffet (with salad, soup, and warm entrees that change daily), wine and beer menu, and kids 4 and under eat free with a paying adult. Kid and family friendly. Also has a good sized meeting room, great for parties or any gathering.

Ridiculously over priced for microwave food slapped on a buffet. Staff were rude slow and too busy playing games with each other to bother with customers. Go to sheetz, food is better and cheaper

Love Shoney's growing up but this location always seems to be subpar. It really is unfortunate because it desecrates the good memories of Shoney's. Occasionally it will be good but more often than not, it is serviceable at best and sometimes just awful

Shoney's is a good place to eat for the buffet. I'm not crazy about it but my family loves eating here. The one in Morgantown is always always always always packed you will sometimes have to wait 20 minutes for a seat but definitely worth it.

Today was the 12th of November ...the day Shoney's invited veterans to eat all they want at the breakfast bar. Our local restaurant did a magnificent job of keeping the buffet well stocked with bacon and sausage etc. I had a wonderful time eating and talking to other veterans. Thanks Shoney.

Shoney's has been the location of our monthly Gideon meetings for over a year, and the management and staff have treated us like royalty. The wait staff has been consistently polite and helpful, and the Smart TV in the meeting room works wonderfully for our video presentations. Thanks for providing a great venue, Shoney's!

We were looking for a place to eat with our daughter on Christmas Day. Nothing was open and that was the only day we were in town. We found the Shoney's restaurant open. I was thankful that these people were giving up their Christmas Day so that I could spend time with my daughter. They were wonderful and completely took care of us. It was more than we deserved and more than we could ask for. I would go there again.

This location is a hit and miss. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not so good. I never eat the buffet bar as I did get food poisoning from it about 5 years ago. There are plenty of other places to eat in morgantown so this is should be a last resort.

Since I have no choice in the matter then I have to give it a star this place has horrible food iur server Cathy was at our table twice when I went to the bathroom she was in there standing at the sink talking to someone in a rather awkward manner that I can't discuss when the manager asked us if everything was good we told him about the food and the service and how I caught the server in restroom on her phone and that she completely ignored the table he said you should have stopped me I would have gotten your refills. Once again a manager that wants to blame and shame a customer for his employees mistakes. Please take your hard earned money and go to Olive garden

Friendly staff, decent food. Just be advised, either stick to the buffet or be prepared to wait a half hour or more for your food, even if it's just a burger. People getting the buffet will be ready to leave before your food arrives.

Friday all you could eat seafood crab was ok tasted more like celery, the coconut shrimp were great mussels and spegetti awsome, the bisquits were good my daughter had crawfish she likes salmon and rice shrimp very good, husband ordered a burger always perfect. 5 star just need to use more salt and pepper other than that very good. Thought this Shoney's was okay for what it is, go there almost once a week for lunch with my work. We all got to know the owner well, or at least we thought. He seems nice unless you're costing him money, then his true colors shine. My boss purchased gift certificates from 50 percent fridays, when we used those the owner says "well I'm not making money this way". Laughed it off thought for sure it was a joke, until today. They have 70 cent deals right now but only if you dine in, decided i would get one eat some and take it with me, owner was not pleased at all! Then as we go to pay we used 50 percent gift certificates, the one we had leftover from last time said "left $6.24" with the owner's initials, he grabbed it scribbled over that and said it was no good. We used another $25 one to pay the bill and he wrote with his initials "left .55". Not sure if this place has fallen on hard times but they have completely lost our business due to the owner's greed. Food is usually okay just pay full price, use no coupons and I'm sure you will have a good experience.

Went here with my Father In-law on Christmas Day last year. It was actually really nice and welcoming even with it being a holiday. There was some singing and the waitress and other staff were kind. The food was hot and fresh because we arrived not long after opening.

Great place to eat... We were traveling and decided to have breakfast, five of us... We were greeted like we were royalty and seated quickly.. Our waiter was great, it happened to be St Patrick's day and he was dressed the part, "Great Guy"! We all had the breakfast buffet, e everything you needed or wanted right there or could ask to be made for no extra charge... Great food and experience, it's a serve the customer and make them feel at home atmosphere... I will be back every chance I get..
