Terrible experience....1st time there and will not be back!!!! "Boneless wings" were chicken tenders....."Honey Bbq" sauce was NOT Honey BBQ sauce!!!! 6 people at our table and after complaining about "wing" sauce.....No One received refills on our drinks!!!!! Steaks were ordered medium rare.....received well done!!!! Fries and cheese sticks were good....waitress was nice!!!!

Absolutely one of the worst steak dinners I have ever eaten at a restaurant. More fat than meat, it was cold, I will never go back. I don't remember which steak, but it was in November at the Tridelphia location. I told the server, she told the manager. I was given a partial refund, which I was ok with, but paying full price for a cold piece of fat was uncalled for. Have never been back, and will not go back.

We love Ruttenbucks! The food is great, awsome comfort food. The staff is great and we are always taken care of. Menu has a little bit of everything on it. Also have a great kids menu. We are go here often, always leave full and happy! ADA the cow is my favorite, with fries and gravy, my husband loves their liver and onions.

This was the worst experience my husband and I have had here. The food was excellent as usual, however the service was AWFUL! Our waitress was very inattentive, everytime I saw her she was scratching her head. She scratched her head while she was taking our orders!!! I ordered a side salad and didn't receive it until AFTER I received my steak. We ordered appetizers and she left every dirty dish on our table until we left. We had a high back (so a very small table top). By the time she came to ask if we wanted more drinks my husband's beer had been gone for so long he was fed up! Finally we sat there waiting for our check for more than 10 minutes!! I love the food here, it's delicious, but we don't get nights out together often due to work and this was an awful dining experience!

They had a special, full rack of baby back ribs and 1 side for 15.00 All appetizers were half priced except the wings I had loaded fries, which were good, And the baby back ribs, the meat fell off the bone,I took half with me. The food was really good but the people in booth behind us had loud kids, whining, crying & kicking our booth. I requested to move & waitress admitted the problem with the people behind us was a distraction & unpleasant. But I got to tell you...NO ONE wants to spend good money to go out to eat & listen to that!! Including all your good paying truck drivers. We moved to other side of restaurant & could still hear those 2 kids with their 2 adults with them. Someone in your restaurant SHOULD have said something to these rude inconsiderate people. Why should we have to move or be run out because of that or because your employee or boss on duty (if there even was one on duty) didn't or wouldn't say anything to them. This was my neice's first time there that I chose to come to your place after just being there 3 days earlier on Wednesday. My experience today was TERRIBLE. Unless your business is that prosperous that you can afford to lose good paying customers...shame on you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this little place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, with the truck stop across the street. Surprisingly good food and service though, with decent prices too. I ordered the filet and it came out perfect! I'd definitely come back and highly recommend. Loved the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon butter.

I have been to this establishment several times. Normally the food and service is amazing. Tonight was a much different experience. The food was great, but the service was, way below average. I will NEVER return. Perhaps the manager should review their standards on customer service with their bartenders. I wish the future patrons of this establishment good luck. You're an outsider!!

We were in and out, which is different from our normal. The best thing I can say was the it was some of the fastest service we have ever had. Now they seemed to have changed the meatloaf recipe and I am no longer a fan. I have had good meatloaf there in the past but not this time. We haven't been there in ages and I doubt we will return again in a while. His salad was good, I am not saying that everything will be bad....because I didn't try everything. I am saying that the new meatloaf recipe is not good. Try something else if you go there.

How could my parents and I dream that in the middle of nowhere WV, just off a random highway exit, we would have found such a place? The kinda farm/saloon atmosphere is really nice. We had their ribs, which were just amazing. Prices are really low: $20 for a full rack! Service was fast, kind, unobtrusive. Good job y’all! (PS: the menu is in slang and it’s a lot of fun.)

Was at the Glendale location this afternoon, and will never return. I ordered the chicken with BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese. The chicken breast was so small I could have finished it in 2 bites. The baked potatoe was burnt on the outside and almost raw in the middle. We were never asked if we wanted refills, and when the server asked if everything tasted alright, I told her about the potato, she then asked if everything else was ok, and when we said yes, she walked away. I expected to see a manager approach us about the potatoes (my fiance's was the same) but not once did anyone come back. The server dropped the check and since no one offered a substitute I thought they would have at least taken the price of the potatoes off our bill, but wrong again. Very poor customer service. NEVER had any issue with the Ruttenbucks in Valley Grove. Lesson learned!

Definitely a hidden gem. We were passing through for the night...and decided to try it out based on other reviews. I placed a to-go order for two people which was the pick 2 that came with 2 choices of sides. Both dishes were the same. I ordered the filet and ribs with corn and broccoli. The filet was phenomenal! It was so tender I could cut it with the cheap plastic ware they had in the bag with my order. It was cooked to perfection (medium) juicy very flavorful and just barley enough seasoning on it that it didn't cover uo or mask the delicious beef taste. Absolutely no steak sauce should be used when eating a good cut of beef and hands down none was needed. The ribs were really meaty and lean. A nice thick sweet BBQ sauce was used. The ribs were tender...not fall off thw bone tender but easily pull apart tender. They were excellent non the less. Shoe peg Corn was white and tender...very nice surprise as most places use ole yellow corn. The broccoli was steamed perfectly. Best $50.00 bucks I've ever spent on a take out order and very much well worth it. We will make it a point and come back when we are passing through that area. What a Gem!

This place had some very good food! I got ribs, shrimp, mashed potatoes and gravy, and onion rings. It was all so good. The ribs were so tender, using a plastic fork worked, the meat fell off the bone. The shrimp was amazing, wish I got more! The onion rings and mashed potatoes were very good. And I ordered it all to go, I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes and it was. I recommend this place very much.

The food was very good but the portion size was more moderate than expected for the price. My friend had the BELT, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and egg with onion rings. It was normal sandwich size for a good price, around $7. I splurged on the Ruttenbucks Times Two, getting the 6 oz steak with grilled shrimp and two sides for $17. You can upgrade to 8oz. for $6 more. The taste was great, but I felt the portion size wasn't worth the $17 price tag. (See pic). The atmosphere was country bar and grill as advertised, very pleasant and the tables were comfortably spaced. The restrooms are definitely worth a visit and full of country flair. The service was attentive and friendly.

Was just in here for dinner as we were out of town for work. I couldn't have asked for any bettet. The ribs are fall off the bone and still full of flavor. My boyfriend ordered a steak and it was over cooked but they offered to fix it right away. They replaced the steak and he thought it was delicious. The baked beans and sweet potato fries with a side of cinnamon sugar and butter were absolutely delicious! The waitress we had was sweet and absolutely phenominal! When we're back in town we will definitely be coming here again!

Food is very good I had the filet and shrimp the shrimp were great the filet was seasoned great with a nice char and tender; so close to be a rare but close enough for a low end medium rare. My waitress (sarah) was wonderful, the bartender made my drinks perfect. If I do more Philly runs I will make this a must stop. Prices are great and the food to price ratio is great.

Family of 5 with 3 friends. Husband ordered 8 oz steak, medium well done, and ribs with 2 sides. Steak was cooked medium rare and never got one of his sides. Took 20 min for waitress to return to check on us. Told her steak was undercooked and only received one side dish. She ordered a new steak again was told medium well. Another woman brought out a 6 oz steak again cooked medium rare and never got the 2nd side dish. By this time everyone had finished their dinner and was onto dessert. We were apologized to and was told it would be taken care of. We received 1 of the 3 desserts free. Still had to pay full price for the steak and ribs dinner. Will not be back.

Ok so I stopped in for dinner due to the talk about the food. The staff was friendly but you could really tell that if you weren't there on a regular basis they got to you second or third on the list. This does take away from the overall experience. The food was done perfect and I do not say this lightly. It's hard to order three different foods that have very different cook temps and times and have all three arrive on the same plate all done correctly. Whoever is in the kitchen deserves a pay raise they have talent. Best advise eat here enjoy the atmosphere and the food then try to get your serves attention she will be hanging out just a few tables away with the usual suspects.

Best Sweet Tea in the country! I have driven all over the country and this place, hands down, has the best sweet tea I've ever had. Love the girls here. They are always in a good mood and the service has been great almost every time and I come here a lot. The food here is pretty good, the 'sketti' is probably the only thing on the menu I would tell you to avoid. Other than that, it's all good.

Don't let the outside fool you, or the inside, or the fact that it's located between a truck stop and a strip club, the food is great. I recommend the Chicken Philly. Everyone that I have met there has also been super nice. So go on in, have some food, you won't regret it.

After years of coming here, this was our last visit due to our service this evening. Our server was so rude and incredibly slow. Each interaction was slower than the last. Drinks sat empty, to go containers were never brought, and I had to hunt someone down to cash us out after over ten minutes of waiting. When I inquired about something that had been honored in the past she turned her back on me and said well I don't make the rules in a very smart mouth manner and walked away. We'll be walking away ourselves after our experience this evening.

I take Friday night and Saturday off and do my laundry across the street from here. I always come have the big country. That is their porterhouse steak. It is always a decent steak for $21. Last night that all changed. I had the big country and it was horrible. Tasted dry and had an odd aftertaste. My waitress told me the person that normally orders the food is gone and some one different is now ordering the meat. I suggest you find the last person and get them back because my friend had the burger and said the same thing. No one is going to be a return customer if the food taste horrible. 2) i cant reply to the owner so i shall edit. The server said the new person doing the ordering, ordered different steaks and alot of people complained about it. I dont know if it was by mistake or their way to save some money by ordering cheaper meat. Yes i have had many good steaks here. I shall also try again after i ask if the old steaks are back in stock and assured that they are. No i was given $5 off not a new steak. I could tell it was definitely a lower quality meat though.

The reviews on this place don't do it justice. I like to try new places just to break the monotony of truck stop food. This place is a win in all categories. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Definitely will be back. Lol make sure you use the bathroom before you leave, we'll done guys.
