Best Chinese food in Charles Town and the surrounding area. Thank goodness. When Sue Chen closed, we thought we were sunk. Tried everywhere else and it was awful. All of our food ordered for carryout last night - 12-10-16 - was terrific.

April 2019 we thought we would try this place out. Food was hot but had no taste. The orange chicken had a strange sticky sauce on it and was very chewy. Another chicken dish we had tasted like the chicken had been deep fried in old oil then thrown into a brown sauce. It did not even taste like chicken. We ordered a dish without onions but it was served with onions. The chef insisted that it was celery however you could tell by the taste it was onions. It was the worst tasting Chinese food I have ever tried to eat. We usually always bring home leftovers from a Chinese restaurant. Almost all of our food was thrown away. We went someplace else to eat. Avoid eating here if you have taste buds!

Was very very disappointed. Was the first time going and Spent almost 40 dollars on our take out to have less than appetizing food. The kung pao combination was the biggest let down of all had no spice, or flavor and was plainly put not edible. It ended up in the trash. The egg rolls were soggy and lacking flavor and the lomein had a weird after taste. Had hope when trying bc of reviews on here, but Will not be returning.

Nice Chinese food for the Charles Town area.

A simple business with a simple premise: cook good food for a good price, and get it to you as quickly as possible. The simple interior has a minimalistic and bright feeling. This is branded as a "carry-out only" establishment but self-service seating is available for small and short gatherings. The staff is friendly and prompt with fufilling orders. Panda Garden is a convenient choice to fix that Friday night craving or for a quick stop to pick up some lunch. For best results, phone in your order a few minutes ahead and enjoy.

I like curried chicken all time fav and veg spring roll!

This place is not situated for dining in. The fountain drink machine is permanently out of service so you must purchase bottled or canned drinks. The prices are average for Chinese takeout. The food was okay but nothing really to speak about as far as taste. One positive is the food was very very hot. They also serve bottled beer if that interests you. They do have reasonable lunch specials that include the meal, soup, an (egg roll or spring roll or vegetable roll or crab rangoon) and your choice of white or fried rice. The staff were friendly but not situated for waited service.

Ordered their Pad Thai Chicken as takeout, and had to throw it in the trash after biting down on small rocks three separate times. This is not an exaggeration, it literally had rocks in it. Sad to see this from them, they were once the best in Charles Town.

It's the better of the local Chinese, but it's just okay. If you are looking for great Chinese food, keep looking.

The food is quite delicious. I was impressed by the freshness and quality. Ours was a carry out order and it was ready fairly quickly. The person that answered the phone sounded like he has the personality of a dial tone, hence the 4 stars.

This is an unfortunate turn of events for an otherwise solid Chinese restaurant. I did not know how to approach this as it was discovered after-hours, while reheating leftovers from an order. It has to be addressed though as it posed an incredibly dangerous risk to my girlfriend and I. This approximately 1", razor thin, curl of steel was found in the breading around a piece of orange chicken. Not noticeable from the outside, until I cut the piece of chicken open, springing the razor sharp piece free. If this had happened while myself or my girlfriend bit in to that piece, it would have had instantaneous and damaging results. Likely resulting in surgery if swallowed. I understand mistakes happen, but this is unacceptable. I think I'll be giving other area establishments a try for now. *I did have pictures of said piece attached, but they seem to not be posted. I'll keep trying to share them

Mandarin chicken was in no way near as to what I expected. The chicken its self was on the side and very greasy. The sauce/vegetables also came alone in a separate container and had absolutely any flavor to it that tasted anything close to Mandarin. I am pretty disappointed.
