come here everytime when my family and I visit Fairfax. Consistently good food, just rightly seasoned food, not salty. Feels eating healthy good, even though I am eating Korean sweet and spicy sauce fried chicken here, so good, crunch thin not over battered outside, tender juicy meat inside. Recommend if you are in Fairfax. good for family.

Good place to go for anyone wanting to try Korean food. Standard, safe Korean cuisine in a clean environment. Definitely try their signature Kimbap and the Jjolmyeon, which is a type of spicy noodle with mixed veggies.

Meh. Below average food, odd Americanized versions of the rolls, fried chicken was crunchy and moist but super greasy and sweet (go to bonchon). Rice bowls were okay but much better elsewhere.

I tried the spice pork kimbap and it was excellent. The yhave a a variety of different kimbap to choose from. I also think they have a great selection of other dishes to choose from. The food came with some Kim chi and takuan. The place has limited seating, luckily I did not need to wait for a seat however about 10 min later there were no more seats available and a line started to form. The location is not convenient for me however if I am ever in the area this is someplace I will definitely stop by again!

Great place for Korean food! ♥︎♥︎ I’ve visited a lot of Korean restaurants. This one is worthy to have a try. You can get most of the common Korean food there with a reasonable good price, like Kimbap and Spicy Rice Cake. Good location, easy to find and parking. Recommend.

I was looking forward to this place, but it was just ok. Not bad, but not the best Korean around. The yukgaejang was probably the best thing I had. They had a good variety of kimbap (rolls) which were ok, but the rapokki was rather disappointing. Really spicy, but not much flavor to it otherwise. My biggest gripe was probably the service, though. The girl helping us seemed so reluctant to do anything, I can almost hear her sigh when I asked for more water. They never checked on us for anything and we had to work hard to get their attention for mere water, or the check.

The portion size is amazing for the price and I enjoyed my food. I’m giving a four star because I feel like the flavor quality was just some what above average. I would definitely order from them again but I doubt I’ll become a regular. I do have to say however their Kimbap is HUGE! if you’re hungry and want a bang for your buck I I would recommend any of their kimbap

Very authentic Korean style "bun shik jip". Very similar to many Kimbap places in Korea, where they have everything from kimbap to jjigae. Very close to my house and delicious for a decent price! Also the portions are huge! There might be some waiting at the peak times. Strongly recommend!! I ordered biji jjigae(fine ground soy with kimchi and pork soup), jeyuk dupbap(spicy pork with rice) and korean style fried dumplings! Yum!!

Huge huge rolls with generous fillings. We always get the classic Korean bulgogi, spinach, carrot, egg and radish pickle rolls, a California roll, and ojinga--spicy sauteed squid(another Korean classic). The ingredients are pristinely fresh and the "rollmanship" exquisite, though only ladies staff the place. : ) one roll may be too much for one person, but so delicious, one wants at least two.

They take my order, bring my food and leave me alone. What more can you ask for? We love their motnani, kimbap and best corn rice I've ever had. We have been coming here for years, eat here once a week and will continue doing so.

Ordered chicken wings and the bulgogi, wings in the picture are not the same wings they serve, the sauce is blood red and spicy with no flavor. I clearly pointed to the picture and asked for those wings waiter says you want sauce I say yea that sauce. Then I asked him is it spicy he said just a tiny bit, that turned out to be a lie!!!

Great food, but small place. There are about half a dozen booths and I've found they are usually all or almost full. I highly recommend the different bibimbaps, such as spicy pork. You go to this place specifically for the food, not much else.

Epitome of mom-and-pop shop in both a good and bad sense. If you're tired of the perfectly mediocre kimbabs sold at Lotte or Hmart, this is the place to go for a variety of freshly made kimbab (especially if you like tuna kimbab). Can't tell if the quality has gone down over the years or if I've just gotten used to the quality. Don't get me wrong--the kimbab is still solid (though everything else on the menu is mediocre). And the sevice is truly mom-and-pop (in the not so positive sense). But if you're OK with OK service and are looking for consistently fresh and above-average kimbab, this is definitely the place to go in the greater Fairfax area.

This is a great Korean Deli located in Fairfax Circle. One can purchase Korean street food inside including bibimbap, ddukbokki, bulgogi dupbap and gimbap. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a cheery smile and offered cold or hot water (barley tea). The server brought our group soup, kimchi, and pickled radish. They were very accommodating, bringing our group two high chairs and smiling at the kids. I find the food a step up from prepared foods at H-Mart but have gotten inconsistencies in taste. The service is great, atmosphere is basic, and food is ok. If you are in the mood for a fun Korean treat, I recommend visiting this place. Be aware that the exterior signage says Korean Deli and not Myung-ga KimBap.

My boyfriend ordered bibimbap for carryout and all of the food was not freshly made, the meat was ice cold. It tasted like it came straight out of the fridge, like leftovers from two days ago. The only thing that was fresh was the fried egg. If I could leave zero stars I would.
