Great authentic looking Mexican restaurant with the usual menu choices. And the meny had a lot to choose from and the prices were average to maybe slightly above average for what one would expect. The portions were average to slightly above average. The service was great and quick. The quality of the food was very good, but not quite outstanding. Some of the meat ingredients could have been a bit better. But overall recommended for its value for this location.

I was looking for a place to stop for a decent lunch while traveling and I was pleasantly surprised. We were there at lunch time on a Saturday. It was decently busy but not packed. The service was quite good... our waiter was attentive, and other staff stopped by from time to time also to see if we needed anything. The lunch specials were quite good and I felt like the prices were more than reasonable. I would definitely go again if I'm in the area.

Friendly staff and delicious food - burrito Verde is my favorite. The only reason not to give 5 stars is that they don't always get your order right, particularly if you ask to change a menu meal. If you're making substitutions, make sure to be clear and that they understand.

I've gone here many times over the years and have yet to be disappointed! The place is almost always busy but you get you food and drinks quickly. The staff is friendly and quickly refill chips and drinks. Portion sizes are big and the margaritas are good!

Stopped for Saturday lunch with the wife. They have slightly smaller meals for lunch Monday through Saturday. I had the carnitas and she had chimichanga. Mine came with pico, guacamole, rice and beans. Hers with guacamole, sour cream, pico and beans. I won't get the carnitas again but the rest of our meals were great.

The flavor is SO good. Legit food. Family favorite. Inside it is a tight fit but worth it for the food. The staff is great. They even had a guitar playing traditional music. Love it.

The food was not very good, and the service was slow. There was a baby screaming the table next to me the entire time we were there, management didn’t do anything about it. When we were ready to leave, I had to go search for the server to get the bill. Also the fajitas were dry and didn’t come out sizzling. This is probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten.

Good food and margaritas. There always seems to be something weird with the tabs though. Add it yourself and your fine. They use an adding machine that I think isn't right, I don't think it's them, they need to upgrade. The food is good. Lunch specials are a good deal. Mango margarita is expensive but tasty. A nice treat every now and then. Service is usually awesome too.

Went to this place for lunch, last week.Good Eats and the waitress was very polite and explanatory of the menu. I ordered the Nachos, which were really good. I also ordered a margarita. It was good but was more along the lines of lime flavored kool aid. I guess that should be expected when they only cost 3 bucks. All in all, it was a decent place.

This is a fantastic little Mexican food spot. The menu has a lot to choose from, with standard favorites and various combination platters (a LOT of combinations so you will definitely find one you like), but also some creative Mexican entrees. Beer and drinks are affordable and service is great. This place is very busy so the food is fresh and the wait staff is busy but attentive. I had a margarita, which was excellent. I am not sure if they serve high end tequila but their standard margarita was just what I needed and didn’t have a hefty price tag. We ordered the nachos. It wasn’t a giant mount of nachos. Each nacho had cheese on it so I didn’t have to suffer through empty chips. We both got combination plates and really had a nice time. I highly recommend this place if you like a good Mexican place.

Waiter took FOREVER to give us our check. It also took us FOREVER to get our server when we needed. Food is okay-- stereotypical Mexican. The portions are relatively small, however.

I can not remember the last time my husband said he really enjoyed his meal. He is the ultimate critic. Well, he found his go-to Mexican! We had fajitas, chimichanga, cheese dip, and churros. PERFECT! While waiting, we met 2 groups of customers and both had been going here 10+ years (I can see why). The coworkers seemed to know everyone! If you are in the mood for Mexican and are within an hour of this place GO! I’d normally apologize for missing pics, however when this food is out in front of you, a pic is the last thing on your mind!

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Charles Town. My favorites are the Flautas and fajita burrito. My wife and son love the fish tacos. The place is usually busy, so expect to wait at times, but it's worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food arrives quickly. You will not be disappointed.
