Service could be better. They hardly come by to check on you. Food is great and consistent. Highly recommend just make sure you ask for everything you want or need when they take your order.

Having just crossing over the Ohio River into a part of West Virginia we've never been, we had checked into a motel down the street and I went here to pick up 3 dinners to Go, because we were tired after Long Day of Driving many miles. The Menu says Taco Supremes are 3 Tacos Hard or Soft with choice of Chicken or Beef and come with Lettuce, Cheese, Tomatoes, Guacamole & Sour cream. What we didn't get was any Cheese or Guacamole! Chips came in a bag & a small container of Salsa, but absolutely No plastic dinnerware or napkins either. I feel like what a RIP off to order food to go and I paid like $20 too much!

A tremendous menu, lots of great choices, and quick service. Everything is very fresh and served quickly. It's a great place for lunch or dinner. The parking is challenging, but that's about the only complaint.

It was good food, served up quickly. We had salsa and chips to snack on. Then our main course was freshly grilled and on the table. We got a pleasant server that refilled our drinks. I really liked the meal. I would read return again in a heartbeat.

Food and drinks were good. The servers were very friendly and took care of us. The guy at the cash register, who I assume is the owner, completely ruins the experience. An unfriendly face who doesn't say anything and throws your card and receipt back on the counter. Will not go back.

I got the 2 chimichanga meal with ground beef, rice and beans, plus the churro desert. The main was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend getting them fried. Rice was perfect as well. Beans are beans and never notice a difference myself. Their queso is lacking any substance save cheese. It doesn't have any salsa in it, but theirs you can add and make it way better. Lots of cillantro in their salsa, and I like it that way. Just a bit of spice to it. (Why you need to add it to the queso) Quacamole was really good. The churro however I can't recommend. They add chocolate sauce and whip cream which makes them not good. All in all this was a great place if you need some Tex Mex.

Excellent Mexican restaurant! Service is friendly and very quick. Atmosphere is comfortable, and the drinks and food are very well prepared. Definitely put this one on the short-list if you're considering Mexican cuisine.

I swear this place uses time travel to start working on your order before you arrive! They only provide a slight delay from the time you order until it is in your mouth so you don't suspect them of magic! Always great food and a hoping experience.

Staff were nice, place was a little dark when I came back out after lunch I was blinded. Really great fresh made salsa. I had the fish tacos was best I every had, they are made with grilled tilapia but they also have shrimp tacos. All fresh ingredients would definitely recommend.

Great food, strong margaritas, great service. There is a large dining area with plenty of seating. Chicken nachos, chicken burritos, taco salad, chimichangas, fajitas are all favorites. We go here all the time and love it.

This place is one of my wife and I's favorite mexican restaurants. The food is always good, and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The last time we went, I had the carnitas, which is my favorite dish. It was above par, and quite delicious. We've been here several times, and will definitely be back.

Enlightened Creations

Los Agaves is our favorite place to eat here in the area we live. We have been there enough now to have gotten to know most of the people who work there. We are able to joke with ALL of them. The food is delicious and served in a very timely manner. Jared gets the same exact thing every single time. He gets the steak and cheese tacos with 2 sides of rice and an Ultra on tap. I get different things depending on the mood. I've gotten the Steak Carne Asada, Steak Fajitas, Chicken Fajitas, Shredded Beef Quesadilla, Refried Beans, Rice, Pico, oh and I've found a new favorite, Fried Ice Cream. YUM!!! Everything we have had is absolutely delicious and if you have not been there, I do recommend that you try it out!

Best Mexican restaurant in town. I like the fajita nachos. Sometimes they have live music and that can be annoying but otherwise it's nice in there. Prices are good, people are friendly, the food a little subpar. I had the burrito bowl, which was an interesting combo. Very little beans (if any) on bottom with lettuce, tomato, pico, shredded cheese, and sour cream. Plenty of chicken, but not the best cuts, and their definition of "grilled" is more like my "sauteed". Not bad, not great, just okay.

Honestly. Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The servers were extremely nice. The price to portion ratio was unbeatable and the flavor was amazing. They have a full bar and the ambience is really nice. The food came in under 10 minutes as well. 10/10

I ordered a wide variety of foods, including a tamale which was my favorite. The Sopapillas were great as well. What drives me to rate as a 5 star review is the amazing service! Our waiter looked genuinely happy working, and was smiling the whole time. Would definitely recommend!

The chips and salsa are my favorite part of eating Mexican. Theirs were ok, would have been better if the chips were fresher. Over all the customer service was pleasant and the decor was fun. The food was pretty much standard fair.

The look on his face makes me think he recently lost a puppy, or he found out Big Bird is not real. However this look has been the same for several years

My husband & I visited Los Agaves for the first time, abt. a year & a 1/2 ago. It was summer. The weather was perfect. A couple of those wooden scenes that have holes cut out where you put your head were sitting out front, so we had fun with those! We were seated immediately upon entrance to the restaurant. We both enjoyed our meals immensely. High quality Latin food! Our waiter was amazing! There were times throughout our meal that he quietly refilled our drinks without us even realizing it! We were seriously impressed! The restaurant itself is very beautiful, hip & cozy. If you've never visited the restaurant, you definitely should. It is the only restaurant in the Mid-Ohio Valley, we have personally experienced, that comes very close to perfect! Thank you, Los Agaves, for a wonderful dining experience

This is a lovely restaurant with authentic Mexican food, situated in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. The staff were friendly and our waiter was very patient and accommodating and answered questions we had about the food. All in all a nice place to go for lunch or dinner. It is also very nicely decorated.

We have are there multiple times, it's a great family restaurant or a place to go eat with friends and have some drinks. They have a huge selection of dishes to choose from, the food is always fantastic and the service is amazing. Even when busy I think the longest weve ever waited for our food is about 15min. Definitely a place everyone must try. You will love it!

Best salsa I have ever eaten. Staff are friendly, courteous, and super accommodating to two older ladies with walkers. We go there at least once a week, and have wonderful, affordable meals.!
