This is THE place to go for Shabu Shabu in NOVA, sorry Hot Spot... Not various menu and sauce. There are only 2 servers do everything (they do good job) that make me wait longer than it could be. The restaurant should hire more staffs to solve this problem and improve sauce bar otherwise you will be always compared to other shabu restaurant. Btw, your brisket is so good tho!!

Best place to get hotpot hands down. I've been there so many times and service is awesome. The restaurant is open and lots of room at each table for larger groups. Each person gets their own pot and there are lots of sauces to suit everyone's palette.

Just Googled and this place came up so i tried it. It's not as noisy as Hot Spot and the place is bigger. They have the same concept, eat all you can. Just mark the food that you want and they will bring it to you but there's only one broth unlike Hot Spot they have more selection, same with food and their sauce bar has few selections also but i like the ambiance here but food wise...i feel it's not worth it.

Atmosphere 5 stars Food 4 stars - only because their set menu plate of veggies is just ok, mostly fillers (ie. napa cabbage). I haven't tried the all you can eat. Seems better but a lot more expensive. Food quality is great and the sauce they make for you makes amazing dipping sauce!

Great place for family and friends get together. The All you can Eat hot pot is a hit here. Adults: $24, kids 7-15: $15, young kids:$7. You have your own hot soup and you can have as much as seafoods, different types of meats, and vegetables.

We got SO sick! Our family does not eat pork. I was weary of the “beef” that got lighter when we cooked it. The server assured us that it was beef. IT WAS NOT. We didn’t even make it home without an emergency stop. Awful. The service was extremely slow and then they asked us to leave, pointing out the “2 hour limit” sign. We would have completed the meal if the server bothered to take our orders, or just stop at the table at all. After the first order, we had to attempt to wave the server down for everything else, including all 4 drinks being empty. The food we did get was fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean. We’ve been here prior to our last visit and it was a much better experience. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.

Since there are same name of restaurants in other cities, it could be imagined about comparison for no reason, lol. If you go Suwanee, GA there is another Gom Shabu Shabu. I'm not sure about the ownership, but Suwanee has $9.99 lunch menu for unlimited vegetables only with one limited portion of meat, still good enough for small stomach. This Centreville place has different price for the buffet, but of course you can get as much as you want for everything. If I have an option for $10 and $25 for buffet, I go with here. We were here at very very busy time. There was few people waiting for seats. But we never got pushed, server even asked us for more food. Very kind and nice staff and place.

I have had Hot Pot in a lot of different places around the world and this was a pretty good one. They will make your sauce for you if you like or you can go to the sauce bar and make your own. I wish they offered more than just one broth but the one they have has a really rich almost lamb bone marrow flavor and at the end after the egg it's almost like a thick gravy haha. Definitely good food and everyone was very friendly with me. Would be nice to have a few more items to select but a good bowl of hot pot.

For a place that's so crowded, i was expecting so much more. My overall experience was quite pleasant but for a place that serves hot pot, you'd expect the broth to be on point. The Service was terrible!! I went with my friends and asked for drinks, server didn’t bring it until she brought the food! Ordered the “all you can eat” and didn’t give us everything. My friends and I weren’t done eating and they rushed us out of the restaurant as they were closing at 10:00 pm. I think the guest service was awful, no server should rush out clients out of their store especially since we were paying for “all you can eat.” For sure didnt expect this type of service as my friend recommended me to come here and told me it was great. Once again it was an awful service, would not come back.

Very modern with every person having their own hit pot that they can session to their liking. There is also dials built into the table to adjust the heating of your hot pot. From what I can tell it did not use fire but maybe convection heating.

Absolutely delicious shabu! We had the premium beef and pork meat options, along with an assortment of vegetable. Staff is friendly and attentive. Pretty good amount of seating for a shabu place, but be wary of the time of day as this place can get very busy during peak hours.

Although I do not personally like the way of serving and having to cook the meats myself, the service is quite good and helpful! Once you’re seated, you’ll have to select thin slices of meat like pork or beef and they will leave you alone with a fair serving of your chosen meats! You can create your own sauce with a variety of additives like green onions, chilis, etc. Atmosphere is very nice and can be very good for families!

We had never been to this restaurant before and thought we would give it a try. We went at lunch time and the restaurant was packed with patrons. We sat down and tried to figure out what we should do. The table has individual pots on the table with a simple soup broth in it. You control the heat and turn it up or down once it gets to boiling. You could order individual meats or go for the all you can eat entree. The waitress we had was not easy to understand so we had to bring our patience and listen. She pointed and because we didnt know how much or what types of meat we would eat we ended up ordering the all you can eat entree for two. It cost about $23.99 per person. There were allot of warnings that you must eat what you order or you will be charged extra. That was a bit annoying because this was our first time we didnt really know if we left veggies on the plate if we would be charged. The portions were large so this was a bit alarming if you don't know what they consider to be wasteful. You are handed a sheet of paper and you select the meats and vegetables you want in your broth. It is accompanied by a dipping sauce that comes in various spice levels. We picked the spicy sauce and it was good. I placed some in my soup as it was a bit plain broth. We ordered different types of beef, shrimp, noodles and vegetables. The shrimp came with the head and shell on, so it was a mess to deal with. I won't order shrimp again. This is a restaurant that you go to to sit, cook your food and take your time eating. This is not fast food, it's a communal environment and I found people sat and talked. Overall it was nice and we enjoyed ourselves. It was a different experience for us and we would go back.

It's very different way to taste Korean food. Unlike famous Korean BBQ, it use hot boiled water to quick cook sliced meat eating with variety of veggies. Its awesome and unique experience and also very tasty and yummy. Very healthy and not overeating although you feel like since you are eating tons of vegetables with sliced thin meats.

Came here 11/14/17, was told they ran out of rice?? How does an asian restaurant run out of rice? I will bring my own rice from home if I decide to come here again. It is not like there is an hmart in the same shopping center to buy rice. Oh wait there is. Running out of rice is epic at an asian food place, It is like MCDonalds running out of fries, which has never happened. Very disappointed. I always eat rice with my meals.

I ate here with a group of friends. We probably spent 3 hours here eating good food. Since its an all-you-can-eat resturant, my friends would just tick all of the meat options for each round and most of them would chant "Meat meat meat" every round. This place works differently compared to your traditional shabu shabu styled place. Instead of sharing a huge pot with everyone, each seat would have their own individual small pot to put your raw food into. The quality of their food is great and nothing was off or rotten. Vegetables were pretty fresh as well. A bit pricey but it feels like you can just keep on eating for a long time.

It's an interesting experience. But I wouldn't recommend going there for lunch. The whole process took about an hour and a half. The waiter explained that a lunch or entree would not be enough for a regular person and we better off going with the all you can eat option. It's $25/person. There's a built-in stove for each person with a pot of boiling broth on it. You get raw ingredients and cook them yourself in this pot. By default they give you chopsticks and a weird spoon. You can get a fork/knife upon request. They have nice looking thinly sliced meets. Sea food selection is not that good. There's also a few kinds of noodles (also raw), some green cabbage, corn, mushrooms, kale, spinach, etc. I have a few problems with this whole idea: you have to know how long to cook each of those things, some of them take longer to cook than others, so it's pretty hard to get it right, you have one tiny plate (the size of a dessert plate) to work with, you have no apron, there's very little space between the pot and the edge of the table, which is fine for cooking, but not for eating, It's harder to have a conversation because you're constantly cooking and eating in parallel, unless you're used to cooking. I ended up feeling like I have a brick in my stomach, but still hungry. And now I need to wash my pants as I got that broth splashes all over it. Otherwise the place looks nicely done, lots of granite and stainless steel, the ventilation is working very well. I wouldn't go there twice.

Been a few times and have enjoyed it every time. It's better when less busy, since the waiters have time to talk to you and they will assist or make your sauces for you if the restaurant is not busy. The all-you-can-eat is the way to go! The meat and vegetables always seem fresh and perfectly sliced to cook in your hot pot quickly. The only thing I find a little confusing is that I never know which meat is which when ordering as they all come on the same plate and look the same lol My recommendation is to order the bokchoy, corn, and mushrooms - I love the variety of mushroom types!

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I went on Nov. 12, 2018, with two of my friends. Mind you, I’ve came multiple times and decide to invite friends. We got there and we order All You Can Eat $25 per person. We ask for water, then a few minutes later, another lady comes and takes our order. We waited about 5 minutes, no big deal. But we received our food first and has to ask for water once again. We’re in the middle of eating and a lady comes and tells us the sauce bar will close in 5 minutes, and if we wanted more sauce to go. So we stopped eating and got more sauce. Around 9:40, the same lady takes our second order and says “ last one” and walks away. Our order comes and once again, the same lady comes and tell us we need to pay, because their about to close the register. We were in the middle of eating, we said okay. We notice all the employees just waiting around looking at us. We give her our cards. She says “ but you can still eat, no rush.” But she’s all over us. We felt so rushed and i will never return.
