Excellent Thai restaurant in The 'Burg! The special Khao Soi is delicious, and not available at every Thai restaurant. The rest of the menu is very good as well, but now every time I go there I need to get the Khao Soi because I can't usually find it. Enough spice to flavor the food well, and extra hot pepper sauce on the side to heat it up to preference. (We use most of what they bring.) Friendly service was attentive and pleasant, and both service and food prep were quick without feeling rushed or pressured.

My son and I found this place after going fishing on a wet day. We just wanted hot PHO. This was the first result I saw which surprised me because we were looking for PHO. But we're SO GLAD we found it. The food is AMAZING!! I usually get pho every time we go to a pho place regardless of if they offer anything else. This was the first time I deviated! The Tom yum soup was really good, they actually used the oyster mushrooms instead of the cheaper white mushrooms. The chef fried rice was so flavorful! And of course the pho was great! We had Thai ice tea for drinks and those were perfect! They didn't cut corners and tried to skip on the cream or flavor. All and all the food is awesome! We're suddenly definitely coming back with the rest of our family. Yum!! The service was great. Our waiter was knowledgable of the menu and was intuitive when it came to ordering and helping me find the right spice level. Her name is Amandine! She's awesome! The only negative is we waited about 3 minutes to be seated. I actually almost walked out but I caught the Amandine's eye and she immediately seated us. What I really liked was her owning up to the mistake instead of blaming it on something else. I'm leaving a 5 star review! The service was good and the food is even better!!

My favorite way to enjoy Finn Thai is the seafood dumplings and Pad See Ew with shrimp, and you can't.forget the Thai Iced Tea! The food here is always delicious. This is definitely my pick-me-up visit when a week has been hard! The tofu dishes are good, and the seafood dishes are even better. The chicken is pretty standard, and I have yet to try any beef.

All my friends told how great this place was but, I won't go there again. The green curry looked like a bowl of coconut milk and not much else. My girlfriend got seafood stir fry and she said it was good but why go to a Thai restaurant for that?

Hate to be that guy, I really like this place and love their pho, but they just increased the price from $10 to $11.50. I get pho often at work in Loudoun county and its $8 for a large at multiple places give or take a $1. Finn thai is already expensive, so unfortunately I'll have to quit eating here as a weekly customer.

Great service, atmosphere, and food. I got Pad Thai with chicken, root beer, and spring rolls for $20. It was a little strange that the waitresses were all wearing sweatshirts, but they were all very nice. The hostess too.

I WAS a regular, (4 orders in last 3 months, for example). I ordered crispy duck take out with an extra order of rice, since the portions are small. I tipped over 20% for take out. When I got home I noticed I received no rice, shame on me for failing to check. When I called to let them know, I had to tell my story twice. My experience was blamed on a "new employee", (read: their poor hiring/training was now my problem). I was offered a free app, (note: still on the hook for the rice and undeserved tip), IF I ever were to return. Guess how THAT is going to go?

Weekday Lunch, Rude staff, Sauces are generic too sweet, lack flavor, ordered 3 appetizers, got my order wrong, no flavor house stir fry rice with one shrimp in it, chicken satay was pressed chicken. Tasted frozen then reheated. Wasted $50.

First place I've tried Thai so I can't speak for it compared to other Thai restaurants, but I thought it was awesome! Really enjoyed the pad Thai and the spring rolls were AMAZING! I didn't care for the sweet tea but that's because it's a very dark brew. However it didn't take away from the whole experience. Very fresh interior decoration.

We went to Finn Thai for a early dinner and my expectations were low since the last time we've been here which was several years back I had not thought very much of my dinner but was pleasantly surprised tonight to see that everything was Top Notch. The portions were good, my Drunken Noodles were spicy hot, not quite Thai Hot but certainly hot enough to notice. My Vietnamese wife told me that the Pho was very good, she had hers with just the rib-eye steak in it as opposed to the more adventurous mix of meats you could get. They made the Chili Basil Tofu we had with less sugar than usual but it was still on the sweet side next time we might try it with no sugar. The Fried Rice Madness was pretty good I would highly recommend that as long as you can take a little Heat. If you found my review helpful please click the Thumbs Up Button under it, thank you.

Been here a couple of times. It's decent -- has been hit or miss for me. For example I got drunken noodle today. Iceberg lettuce in drunken noodle is a huge no no -- could put some bell peppers instead. It was way too salty and saucey in flavor. The noodle it self kept it's shape and not overcooked so that's good. Boyfriend has gotten pad Thai here and he felt they have been pretty good consistently.

Great Thai Food. The bacon wrapped scallop appetizer is a must. The crispy tofu is lightly fried to perfection with a fantastic sweet and sour sauce. The Kapow Chicken entree has a perfect flavorful heat, while the Pad Thai Chicken entree has a delectable sweet peanut flavor.

I have not eaten thai food till i came across finn thai. It's amazing!! It's a small establishment but food is huge on flavor. Prices are not that high especially for the quality of good you get. You have to try it out if you like thai or if you have not and wanted a suggestion on a great place. My favorite is the crying tiger hands down or the firecracker chicken if your not looking something real spicy. Check it out!

I love this place! Caution: if you order extra spicy, be prepared for extra spicy. I recommend getting spicy and having the spice tray brought out. You can always add more spice, but you can't take it away once it's in there.

My wife and I walked to this Thai restaurant from our hotel up the road the first evening we arrived from out of town. We were very happy to find this place along Foxcroft Avenue, which is also home to several other walk-in restaurants. I had high expectations because of the great photographs in their menus and others shared here in Google Maps. We were both very happy (and relieved) to find the food met our high expectations. The presentations were superb, the servings were right-sized, and the spices were perfectly suited to each of our two different entrees. The EDAMAME soybeans were served in a tastedful bamboo bowl and were perfectly warmed. My wife enjoyed her very mild STIR-FRIED VEGETABLE and I was very happy with the heat present in the two-red-pepper PAD EGGPLANT that I had. I did not have to add any additional hot spices (pepper or otherwise). We each ordered a glass of wine. The two different house wines we ordered (one red, one white) were good and they were priced well, such that four glasses of each would have matched up with the reasonable bottle prices listed. Our server was pleasant and visited back to our table at appropriate times to keep up with any additional needs we had. It was easy to provide a tip to her and to write this well-deserved 5-star recommendation.

The decor was much more contemporary than other Thai restaurants I have been to. The service was wonderful, very friendly and fast. The portions were very large, enough that my wife and I each had plenty of left overs for the next day. I found the flavors to be wonderful, I had the Pad Thai which I shared with my 6 year old daughter who loved it. I also had the seafood soup for a starter, it had LARGE pieces of fish, scallops, and shrimp in it. My daughter had the steamed dumpling appetizer as a meal which she devoured and was saying how good it was. My wife had Kapow, which was a spicy dish with shrimp. The spice level is the only complaint I would have. The flavors were wonderful but there was no real heat to speak of, even when we ordered the meal hot, but it was still very delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going back again.

Amazing. The bankok steak is PERFECTLY done. The marinade is Heaven in your mouth! The bacon wrapped scallops are so good you forget that it's an entree and get more! They have really good margaritas and the Bangkok steak is only $9 on MONDAYS!!! You have to try this place.

My wife and kids decided to go here for my wife's birthday. We went when they werent busy and the service and food was really really good! If your from out of town I'm a local in this area and this is one of the best Chinese food places around. Yes it's thai but if you like Chinese check this out! The kids got steak and fries and the chicken nuggets and fries i got the combination fried rice and naturally I can't rememeber what my wife had but it was so good we'll def. Be back soon.

I have been to Finn's twice now and both times I have had an overall pleasant experience. My first time was immediately after a trip to Thailand. Of course, I ordered Pad Thai. The food was delicious and took me straight back to the streets of Bangkok. Second time, I ordered the drunken noodles, which may be one of my favorite dishes, and it was also good. They even have Thailand's Singha beer. Servers were attentive both times. The atmosphere is modern and clean but the only reason for a four star is because I would love a more culturally immersive experience to really take me back to Thailand. However, if you are looking for tasty Thai food, this place will certainly satisfy your craving.

This restaurant has no IDEA what Vegetarian means!!! And how important it may be to someone following a vegetarian diet or that may be allergic to "fish/seafood". Being our second visit here and my son follows a very strict vegetarian diet (nothing coming from a breathing animal, even honey....), of course he would order from the vegetarian menu and asked for no fish sauce in his Drunken Noodles, adding Tofu, which most of these meals consist of. Upon receiving he said it tasted like fish and asked the server if she had taken his order correctly? She stated she had but would asked the cook if it had been prepared correctly as well. Returning she said it did have oyster sauce in it!!! Now if not wanting fish sauce because of being vegetarian, what would make you think that you wouldn't mind the oyster sauce instead? Really? And then not being able to eat with the rest of the family because of the remake? Not to offer a discount or the manager to visit the table? The server had no clue what the menu consisted of to begin with, HOW SAD!!!! I had to ask for a comp of some type which was like they were doing me a FAVOR!!

This is close to our best Thai place ever! We stopped here on way through town and it was fabulous. Decent cocktails and wine list. Courteous, prompt, pleasant service. Soups were superb, tried both won ton with seafood and shrimp Tom Ka. Excellent, mildly spicy. Potstickers very good. Tried the seafood stir fry, large portion and delicious. Also tried beef with ginger and scallions, delicious and enough to take home. All good things here, fresh food spiced as you like it.

I always went to this place for the past 5 years and loved it, but the past 2 weeks I've been there since they've opened back up from closing for 2 weeks has been horrible , I always order the steak and whoever the chef is now isn't looking good for this restaurant, prices went up and the quality of the food went down, so many complaints now about the food while I'm dining in and certain waitresses are only worried about texting and talking to the coworkers instead of doing there job, and waited for atleast 15 mins before even being asked what I want to drink and took another 15 mins before I even got my drink and I only wanted water. Im really debating if I wanna go back because I really really loved this place but if whatever they have going on continues they will lose my business... Come on guys please get better.

I stopped here passing through town on I-81 needing a quick fix of something spicy and tasty. It was a Saturday evening and even though the place was busy, the service was fast and friendly. The food was very good. I would definitely stop here again when in the area.

This place was awful. There wasn't even any Asian folks in the entire restaurant even the staff. Our food came our cold, my chicken was still frozen. I returned it all and they still hounded me for payment. I didn't eat anything and walked out. Advice to not visit this hole. Don't know how the reviews are still high.
