Different place from when they first opened. They do not give you enough rice and charge you if you want more. Also the rice was cold probably from yesterday. The prices are raised and I feel like I am paying for two people when I am getting one meal. Do not recommend.

Bombay does delivery through the various delivery services in town. So far, delivery times have been pretty good. The food has a good taste, but even when you order "10 - spicy", there's not much in the way of heat. The chicken is pretty often overdone. Still, one of the better Indian places in town.

Best Indian I've had in years! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but these guys really know what they're doing. The food was hot, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I love that they have a spicy scale (1-10) that you can use to choose how spicy the food is. Was perfect for me! I got the Lamb Rogan Josh with 2 orders of original Naan. Absolutely wonderful. I'll definitely be back!

The worst ever Indian food that I have ever eaten in my whole life. We ordered 4 biryanis, 2 chicken dishes and one vegetable curry and some naans. The rice is too dry and getting a foul smell. We managed to eat those veg dishes but my non-veg friends not able to try even one dish. Being a typical desi we gave our order 10/10 spice rating, but they poured the chilli powder to make the dishes spicy. There is no one to serve your food and the only lady in the restaurant (may be the owner) taking the order and she gets your order to the table. No water or water glasses on the table and if you bite the chilli piece and if you don't have water or some drink next to it that gonna be very awful. Till today my friend is in confusion to figure out the chicken pieces in the curry whether it is Hawai chappal or Bata chappal (jokes a part it was true). I strongly recommend do not choose this restaurant when you are hungry but it was the only restaurant in the Morgan town and we are not able to find any other on that day. So please hold up your hunger for 50 more miles to reach best Indian Cuisine. I don't want to write a review like this but, hungry is more important money........Sorry Bombay Indian grill management.

The Bombay Indian Grill provides Morgantown with a nice break from the ordinary college town dining options with something on the menu for any diet. I have been here three times now and the service is always fast and friendly. The buffet they have a couple times a week is a great chance to try different dishes and desserts.

I am very disappointed in my experience at Bombay today... I ordered food and went to pick it up using a coupon from the "Hooked app", which they have always accepted prior to this day. Again, I go there at least 1time per week. This time they tell me that they no longer accept the coupon, then got offended when I said if that's the case they should take the coupon down from the app... I paid as much for one meal from there as I could from Olive Garden.. ensure next time I'll take my business to fresh mint or ANY of the other Indian restaurants in town.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE. I placed an order for delivery for only 2 items... 3 hours later and I still haven't received my food. I tried calling the restaurant 5 times and no one answered. I'm pretty sure they blocked my phone number because after the 3rd time my calls weren't going through. As soon as I called them off of a different phone they answered right away. VERY ANNOYED and will never order from here again.

I got burnt Naan and half boiled chicken with marination as tandoori chicken. Boiled chicken as tandoori!!! Never heard of it as tandoori chicken is supposed to be a grilled. Do you think people are stupid?

Well we were on the way to Virginia, we stopped by for a quick bite since it had 4.3 star. We ordered wraps n Rolls it was pathetic. Felt like I’m eating naan with chicken gravy. Pretty soggy. No taste. God knows how it got 4.3 star.

Bombay never gets the order right and also gives you less than you pay for. For example, one naan is actually just half a naan but they do not list that on the menu. I would suggest takeout of only the main dishes and do the rice and bread yourself. Also the restaurant is dirty and they are carelss about completing your order. If you are a student sure it is fine since there are not better choices.

The food is very good. No Lamb Saag, but they did make chicken. Ambience is close to zero. Convenient, if expensive, parking across the street. The buffet at lunch was good. Some meat -- chicken? -- was overcooked but tasty. I will certainly go back as it was decent and seems to be the only Indian restaurant left in Morgantown.

I have regularly tried different dishes here. I loved all the "Kadai" varieties such as Bhindi Kadai, Paneer Kadai, etc. Biriyani's are also good and so are garlic naans. Strongly recommend the place. The guy at the counter is also very polite and friendly.

The chicken is a hit or miss and last time I came with family, the daal tasted rotten. Also, they’re constantly raising prices Update: Food has been much better recently. If there is an issue with the food, definitely try talking to them and they will fix it. However, as a student the prices are still higher than before and that’s still upsetting.

Definitely the highlight of my week in Morgantown. This was a place I just happened upon and walked in. The outside looks tacky, the inside not really much better. None of that matters because the food was phenomenal. The menu had some different choices than other Indian restaurants I’ve been to and I was pleased to try something I’ve never had before. My only recommendation would be perhaps adding some description to the menu items. But if you are in the area, stop in and you won’t regret it!

Its gross, just look in the back of the house. Very unsanitary and a lot of cross contamination going on uncool for vegans and maybe vegetarians too, trust me. Reason it had high stars is because of great customer service. But some of the food can be delicious

I ordered the Yellow Dal Tadka, level 4 spicy and I thought it was fantastic, and the spice level was about right, although slightly salty. My boyfriend ordered the chicken vindaloo, level 4 spicy, and it was full of bones, and insanely spicy, although the flavor was good. However most people from this area are not accustomed to bones being in their chicken and this is a very real choking hazard. The naan likely would have had good flavor, but was very, very charred and reminded me a little of burnt toast. Finally, my basmati rice had a very sour odor to it, almost like it had sat out overnight (I've done this before so I know the smell). I am not an Indian cuisine expert, but it is not a smell I have come across in other Indian restaurants. Update: I made my own basmati rice at home and was finishing up the leftover dal tadka and legit just about broke my molar on a pebble the size of a peppercorn. Threw away the leftovers. I hate leaving bad reviews, but honestly I wouldn't recommend this place. It went from three stars to two. So in general, their levels of spicy are inconsistent. I am left questioning the quality of the food and food preparation, and the naan, which traditionally should have charred spots, was about 70-80% char on both sides, which is fine if you like that kind of thing.

The food is amazing!!! I had ordered level 4 paneer tikka masala for myself bc I can't eat spicy and level 10 (spicy) chicken tikka masala for a friend and the spice level on both were on point!!! The food was really delicious. The bread was also really good and not badly charred like someone else had mentioned. I'm definitely going back.

This take-out/eat-in simple no frills restaurant in the middle of West Virginia University campus served excellent food. Vegetable pakora starter was very fresh with good dipping sauce. Chicken korma was a superb sauce, very creamy, with tender chicken. Tikka masala was also great with perfect spice blend. You order at the counter and they bring food out to your table. You can eat counter style or at one of the 5 tables (which each seat 4 people). They provide additional rice for free if you need more than you are served.

I love Bombay! As a student, it's my best option to get a real meal near campus. The sauces are rich and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. Their buffet is perfect for me because I can get all my food groups without having to cook. One meal from this place gets me through a whole day! Highly recommended
