The fusion of Korean and Mexican cuisine is well done. The meat is marinated to authentic Korean flavors and for those that prefer a burrito wrap instead of the rice will be pleased. The quantity of food for the price is good and you will not leave feeling hungry. I would highly recommend this restaurant for either sit down or if you're rushed for time, take out. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

A tasty culinary adventure! Burger has that tasty marinade flavor soaked through it without making the bun soggy. Though the buns are extremely plain, gotta cut costs somewhere I guess? I put some of my Kimchi slaw side on it when I was halfway done and that was pretty tasty. My friend got the Korean Burrito and said he enjoyed it. The beer selection is limited to the kind of stuff they have at Chipotle (had? Do they still?) but it's nice to have the option The dining area is small, but getting food to go is definitely a solid option. The have fun vinyl sleeves on the walls alla BGR and an epic street art mural of their name on the wall, which I was a fan of. If I could give a 4.5 then I would, but those buns are holding me back from a 5.

ok I admit I balked at the idea of a korean-mexican restaurant as I've never been a fan of fusion cuisine personally. this place won me over..... initially. quality of the food is inconsistent, as is common with chipotle-style restaurants. on good days it's tasty, filling, and easy to consume. on bad days the food prep is a wreck and the actual food borderline inedible. i'd love to give this place another try if it manages to pull itself together but at this point it's too much of a gamble.

Great place to grab a highly customizable and delicious meal. Think Chipotle-style ordering but with a variety of different Mexican and Korean ingredients. They have different proteins such as asada and bulgogi and 3 different sauces, including Korean red sauce (guchujang) and Bebop sauce, which is sour cream-based. They have a few choices for rice, including kimchi bacon-fried rice, which itself is amazingly tasty. You can also add a wide variety of toppings including cheese, street corn (awesome!) and a fried egg if you wish. Honestly, it would be very hard to make a bad combination because the two cuisines work so well together. The meal does take some time to prepare (for two meals at a slow part of the day it took about 10 minutes) but that's because everything is prepared to order, which makes a huge difference in taste and quality in a very good way. The drink choice consists of canned and bottled sodas and a cold water dispenser, but they don't have a fountain drink dispenser which is unfortunate if you're looking to get refills. I would highly recommend this place for any fans of Chipotle and Korean BBQ. There's definitely something for everyone here.

I was going to take a picture of the food but it was gone too fast. Ordered the bulgogi bowl with purple rice because why not. Guy at the counter was super helpful because it was my first time and he explained the menu and made recommendations. Food was ready pretty quick and delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and the rice was just the right amount of sticky. Relatively affordable and great alternative to the usual Chipotle. Highly recommend.

This place is basically a Korean version of Chipotle. As a Korean I tried to enjoy it, but the fusion just did not work for me. I didn't taste any sort of authentic cultural cuisine. It was overall dry and not worth the money.

The food is a very odd mix, kind of like a maple bacon doughnut. They don’t mix well - you taste the bacon and the maple. We were the only people waiting for service and it took several minutes before we were acknowledged. The restaurant was a little warm, and the music was a little loud. I’m uncertain if we’ll return, especially with so many other options.

Bebop is a great little store. I love both Korean and Mexican cuisine, but I never thought about making a fusion with them! I went in with my fiancé; I ordered a Korean Rice Bowl and he ordered the quesadillas. Both were delicious! I really want to come back here and eat again.

First time visit, very clean and easy to order, I visited this location around lunch time and didn't have a problem ordering, wait time was close to 10-15 min range, so call ahead if you're on the go. Pricing is affordable, however I was a bit disappointed that their fried egg "extra" was more expensive than avocado? Ordered myself A Carne Asada on a bed of salad, flavor on the meat was good and not overly seasoned. Overall experience was excellent, I will visit again.

Great taste. 4 different rices white, Spanish, purple, bacon fried rice. Not a huge variety of topping options but plenty of variety in taste. One of my new favorite spots, I go with the Kalbi, or if I want to save a few bucks, the bulgogi. I think they change their offerings slightly from time to time but it is consistently great food. Parking is plentiful since it's in a shopping center.

I tried Korean infusion once before and was not a fan. This restaurant changed that for me. I ordered the tacos and wasn't sure about the menu and the staff helped me through the ordering process and sauces. It was a Saturday afternoon and a little busy and my to-go food took about 15 minutes. I ordered the Korean sauce which said it was spicy - I found it to be a bit on the sweet side, but nothing a little siracha can't fix!

Just went here for the first time the other day. It's like a Mexican-Korean fusion Chipotle and it's delicious. Friendly group behind the counter. I got a bowl with Galbi (a Korean soy marinated short rib), white rice, cheese, lettuce and all three of their sauces (red, green and white.) While the Galbi contained a couple fatty pieces that I had to set aside, most of it was pure, tender and well-flavored. The combination of sauces was a flavor bomb. Some of the meats are Mexican flavored while others are Korean. The Galbi bowl was a bit pricey but the meat was HQ and delicious. I'll be returning there in 20 minutes to pick up lunch!

It was good, nice meat, optional add-on of bacon fried rice was cool for an up-charge, but overall a bit expensive for the portion size, I think I paid $12.xx for the meal with the $2 upcharge on the bacon fried rice for a portion that was considerably smaller than Chipotle. Definitely a nice change of pace and good food.

Counter service = poor. My togo order sat as girl taking orders watches food getting put up for pickup without checking. Order did not have cheese as ordered. Usually this place is spot on but today was pretty poor. Food barely edible as well today. Will be rethinking this as my go-to Friday lunch.

Finally decided to give this Halal place a try. And I am glad I did. We got the following: Gogi burger 10/10 Spicy Chicken Burger 9/10 Chicken quesadilla 10/10 Chicken and Carne bowl 10/10 The best part was, my daughters loved the gogi burger and wifey loved the quesadilla and the bowl. The service was great and the cashier was very polite and respectful. Will definitely go there again.

I started coming here a couple months after their opening. I really thought the concept was cool and liked the atmosphere inside. It used to be just like Chipotle where you ordered your toppings as you went down the line. It's changed to where you order everything up front and they give it to you after it's all done. It makes things less hectic that way. I've always gotten a bowl and the food and mixture are all good. I love the Bebop white sauce. I usually get the carne asada but the other meats are good as well.

Happened to see this place on my Google maps and me the wife and my son decided to stop in for lunch. Man were we surprised. This place is almost like a Chipotle but Korean! I got a steak bowl with white rice white and red sauce and a fried egg! Steak was tender and juicy. Corn was sweet. Overall we all loved our food! The price was right for the amount of food you get, and boy were we stuffed. We will most definitely be back!

Went to this afternoon not impressed I had a chicken burrito with purple rice and a few other veggies and it was not good. The purple rice tasted like paste, no taste at all I had to use a lot of sauce to even get any kind of seasoning. My son in law ordered the spicy burrito Mexican style stated it was not bad, but not great. Won't be going back. It was recommended by a co worker, not going to listen to her again.

I had a meeting around Fairfax, VA that ended way past lunchtime. I was famished so I needed something fast and affordable with decent food and found Bebop on Yelp. It was only 10 minutes away so I decided to stop in. Got there around 3pm and the place was empty but that didn't discourage me. Once I got to the counter the manager greeted me and explained their concept which was a mix of Korean and Mexican. He suggested trying their popular dish called Bulgogi Korean Style Bowl. It was cooked to order with fresh veggies and a good amount of protein. The marinade was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I'm really happy I took his suggestion and plus it was only $9. You can also order the bowls Mexican style but I loved the spicy Korean Sauce in mine. They also offer burgers starting at around $5. Very affordable indeed! This place was a good find in the Fairfax area. Great service and tasty food for less than $10. And once again Yelp saved me the trouble.

I came here with my sister a couple nights ago and loved it. I ordered the spicy burger with fries and my sister got a chicken burger with an avocado and cucumber substitute. The fries were great, nicely cooked and salted. My burger had the right amount of spice and was very flavorful. My sister let me try a little bit of her sandwich which had good flavor and the avocado/cucumber combo tasted very fresh. The owners were very nice and the place itself was clean and kept up.

First off, great food and atmosphere. If you love Chipotle and Korean BBQ, then you need to try Bebop. Very trendy, hip spot for Korean fusion and the food is priced reasonably. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and I can tell that he's passionate about the food and truly cares for his customers. Bebop will certainly be my go-to spot in Fairfax for years to come. This restaurant is headed in the right direction. Wouldn't change a thing - solid 4/5

I used to come here regularly since I work near the area. It was an ongoing battle for me to choose between Bebop vs Chipotle as I am a fan of Burrito Bowl! But Bebop made it easier for me to choose Chipotle over Bebop by stop offering the all-free-topppings option and making me choose only 4 toppings..they also started charging the cheese what used to be free. I was wondering why there were no customers today during their busiest time but the changes they made explained.

I live in Arlington but was nearby and hungry. After some quick research on places to eat I chose Bebop. It was between lunch and dinner on a Sunday, so it was not at all busy. I thought it might be interesting to try this fusion concept. I was craving Bulgogi but was disapointed to learn they were out og it "due to a busy lunch" they had earlier. So I was really not left with much choice but to upgrade $4.00 to the Kalbi. Don't get me wrong, I love Kalbi, but realizied this lunch was going to be expensive. The order taker was helpful in making suggestions. I inquired about a Kalbi Burrito but he convinced me the bowl is a larger portion. I got the bowl with purple rice, kimchi slaw, Korean red sauce and a medium soda. Just shy of $20, ouch. It was quite tasty however. The slaw didn't wow me - but the meat was tender and flavorful. As I was eating, I realized I was only eating Korean food instead of a fusion dish. I often go to Yechon in Annandale for weekday lunch specials and pay half the cost of this, get waited on and eat with real utensils. By the way, no chopsticks at Bebop (what?). But hey, the place is trendy, clean, sas good food and has a fun vibe, so if you're in the area, why not?

The food is great, and the staff are awesome. The manager there remembered my order and is always a pleasure. Bebop is definitely worth it.
