Absolutely delicious. Great flavors can't wait to come back!
Bulgogi pork. Amazing.
Delicious "fast food".
A great modern feel and mouthwatering food. Seriously this place actually makes my mouth water
I came with no knowledge of Korean food whatsoever and they did a great job explaining what they had and how to eat it. I loved how personal it all felt. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the restaurant had a modern, minimalist asthetic that was clean, smart, and elegant. My only complaint is that they used all disposable bowls, cups, and utensils which made me feel a little wasteful throwing it all away. (Maybe they will change this as they grow.) Overall, the whole experience was pleasant and even though I only went once, I find myself craving bb cup all the time!
Easy way for quick Korean food
Great !!
Great Korean food! Only option for Korean in the Blacksburg area!
Really interesting and practical concept: counter serve Korean in a large "cup" - genius! They make no assumptions that you know what everything means, and their wall menu explains everything, including what Bi Bim means. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Facility is squeaky clean. Prices are ridiculously low. Food is fresh and great. Service is fast. Low cork seating is very comfortable. Probably the best meal that covers all the food groups for the lowest price in Blacksburg.
Just tried it for lunch, and for the price the portions are perfect! The meats a perfectly tender, decent amount of rice and noodles on my order. Tastes just like Korean BBQ that I'm used to from Northern VA. I was surprised at how fast the service was; within 5 minutes of paying for my food, it was ready. Granted there were only a few customers, it was quick and hot. As a Korean, it's very authentic. And in terms of Asian food in Blacksburg, this is the best bang for your buck. The sauces remind me my moms cooking. Just wish they provided kimchi. Will be back to try the rest of the menu throughout the next week. Next is the Pork and Chicken dishes; they also said they would eventually incorporate proteins into the BiBimBapp.
Had a great overall experience. Extremely fast service, I loved the food, and there was more than enough to be filling.
Been going here since they opened, love the couple that runs the place, I typically get the pork kimchi and my wife gets the spicy pork bulgogi. The sauces certainly make the dishes. I'm a big fan of their fire sauce and my wife likes the sweet and spicy. This place is an excellent example of what local eats should be in Blacksburg!
Cute Instagram-able place with great comfort food!
The first thing that you will (or I did) realize is that it is extremely clean. Although the menu seemed limited to me, the items that we order had a generous quantity, we're very tasty and the service was very quick. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want to grab a quick lunch/dinner in downtown area under 10$.
Nice little suprising place. Food is very good
No gluten free option
I would call this more asian fusian with a definite bent towards korean. The food was tasty, loved the black rice. Would have preferred more vegetables in the bimbap and some kimchee. The fire sauce is definitely well named ... just a friendly warning. Price point is very reasonable. The pork bulgogi had good taste but was a bit oily and also cold have used some veggies.
Went here for the first time last night. Great food with such great flavors. Our little ones were raving about it too. The dessert was awesome too!
I love the authenticity and the uniqueness of the food served here. Definitely my favorite lunch spot in Blacksburg!
I had heard so many good reviews about this place but was disappointed when my husband and I tried it today for lunch. His meal was served in a very small cup and he was told to mix it before eating but it was heaping in the small cup and impossible to "mix" without dumping it all over the table. He didn't end up finishing his meal and said he didn't really like it all that much. His meal was extreme temp. hot also he said (unlike mine). My meal was in a bigger cup so I was actually able to "mix" mine up. All of the items in the bowl were barely room temperature and the mushrooms were cold. The egg on top was also extremely under cooked and the white part was mostly raw. I ended up eating my meal because I was so hungry but wouldn't say I enjoyed it. You also have to ask for napkins if you want any because they don't have any available otherwise. This place wasn't for us I guess and we probably won't go back.
A nice Korean style eatery for quick bites. They have customer parking lots but a bit challenging to find. Instructions on how to order are drawn on the wall inside.
Loved the spicy chicken galbi, will definetly be back. be warned-- its extra spicy so not for everyone but certainly solves my spicy craving.
The atmosphere was modern and clean with free Wi-Fi. I had the bibimbap with beef. The portion size was right for the price. However, I was not expecting the dish to be served cold in a paper cup. Because it was not sizzling hot, as I would normally expect with bibimbap, the egg whites were still completely clear. The chili shrimp was ketchup-y and overly sweet. The shrimp were dime-sized the broccoli was shriveled and overcooked. The meal took about 4 minutes to make suggesting a lack of freshness. (Note: I am not an expert on Korean cuisine, so take this with a grain of salt.) Hate to rag on a new place, but I doubt I will be returning nor will I be suggesting bb cup to others. All new restaurants have their kinks to work out. hopefully bb cup can take it up a notch.
Favorite place in all of Blacksburg to eat. Highly recommend to anyone
So good. Something different from our burger-heavy downtown restaurant scene.
Quickly prepared bowls great for to go orders, with many optional sauce choices.
Had the spicy pork cup with black rice. It was quite tasty. The large cup was very filling. The decor, though contemporary and minimal, was very nice and clean. It's a small space, and unless I missed some additional area, you'd be hard pressed getting 20+ people in there.
Amazing food, for anyone who enjoys a mix on asian cuisine this is the place to go! Definitely a gem in Blacksburg
Really good food. Give it a shot and if you don't know what you want just get a large #1.
Quick and delicious Korean food
Auto Zone is my go-to auto parts store. Convenient location, hours, and helpful staff.
I ate the Spicy Pork Bulgogi when visiting Virginia Tech and enjoyed it immensely. This was my first Korean food experience and I have yet to find a place this good.
Horrible! I called in for a take-out order and they hanged me up for four times.... It is like I am begging them to serve me food, lol. The guy who answered my call said their phone is all right, so I guess it is just not my restaurant. I care about the serving attitude as much as food quality, so byebye bbcup, will never try you any more. BTW, after I cancelled my order, they called me back for the FIRST time.... sorry too late....
Was excited to try some of their food while in the area, but they were closed. Both Google and Facebook said they were open. Update. Tasted the food, it was excellent. Added back two stars.

Enjoyed the food as well as the fast, friendly service!
Extremely good!
Great small bowls, nice people
Great food, the spot is awesome. Missing out if you don't try it.
Sleek, modern, and minimalistic on the inside. The food is well made and delicious as well as reasonably priced. I definitely recommend anyone to come here!
Delicious food! It's a nice, small quiet shop to get delicious KBBQ
The food is always quite tasty, we've enjoyed each dish.
We've found one of our top favorite spots for some delicious comfort food here - or just for any occasion. I'd been wanting to visit for a while now, and it was an excellent choice! I had the beef bulgogi, topped with a great hot sauce. Every ingredient in the bowl was fresh, flavorful, and blended tastes/textures together perfectly. My husband and I also split an order of green tea bingsoo, and it was a fabulous way to top off a filling and great meal. The employees are incredibly friendly and location clean. We're already looking forward to our next trip back!
Closed for over a month during December-January with no mention online, only a piece of paper on the door.
I love BB Cup. It's my favorite place to be in Blacksburg lately. Even if I'm not in the mood for Korean food, I just like to exist in the space they've created. The spicy Kalbi was very flavorful, and I intend to try the entire selection. All the bingsoo options are great too! My friends and I will prefer the Oreo bingsoo, but I also enjoy the Green Tea.
Fast, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We shared the spicy pork bulgogi and beef bibimbap.
Super Korean food super fast
Delicious in my opinion. Simple menu makes ordering easy (especially if you're not familiar with the cuisine). It's also perfectly priced/portioned for poor college students
Try the spicy chicken galbi! Love the flavor!!
Really great food. Don't get the chicken if you are not prepared for a lot of spice. The pork is more mild and perhaps more delicious. My only complaint is that I wish the normal size had a bit more food for the price.
A very small and very cozy Korean restaurant in downtown Blacksburg. The staff (owner?) are super helpful and friendly. The food is good but the selection is limited.
I go here every week. Bb Cup has great food for low prices.
I lived in South Korea for a year. This place is pretty authentic (at least for what we tried there so far!) had the spicy pork and bulgogi. I was surprised they cooked the pork in that way. Delicious. I thought portions would be small, but I got pretty full with the large size.
Kimchi was on point!
Good eats!
Good food and friendly service. Great selection of sauces available to tailor your dish to your level of heat/sweet.
I have tried the bibimbap and it's delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and it's very filling. The man working the register was very helpful in answering any questions we had as well.
Good food at good price
Delicious
Good people, good service, great atmosphere, free tea and water, and good food.
Unique twist on typical Korean BBQ! All the classic Korean BBQ options with plenty of sauces to choose from, in cup form, of course. Great food!
Terrible compared to other asian restaurant around Blacksburg... the food for the price is like: you must be kidding me! If someone has been there before and still invite you to it, he/she must be hating you so much....
It was closed so...
One of my favorite places in Blacksburg. Simple food done incredibly well.
I Tried the Beef bulgogi (bland) Pork spicy bulgogi (best flavor) Green tea bingsoo (nasty) I was expecting more flavor. It tasted very bland and needed lots of sauce to help with flavor. The green tea bingsoo was extremely nasty. I was looking forward to it. The green tea powder had a awful taste. Definitely disappointed.
Always enjoyed my food here. The place is very clean and their bing soo can't be beat!
What's BB? "BB, we meant 'Bi Bim,' which means 'Mix It' in Korean." The food here is like nothing I have ever experienced. It is unique and delicious. In addition to their entrees, they have a great selection of sauces, Kim Chi, and excellent desserts. The staff was very friendly and eager to explain the menu. I HIGHLY recommend BB Cup!
Try it. It is good!
While tucked away, the restaurant is charming and warm. The bibimbap was a delicious mixture of rice, kale, corn, tofu, mushrooms, and a perfectly runny fried egg. Be sure to add some of the fire sauce for more flavor.
Walked in wanting to try something new and the lady working explained everything from their menu and the different flavors, right down to how to eat their Korean style food. The food tasted great and for the price it can't be beat.
I have been here several times and love the food. Simple and small menu. The food is delicious, served in plentiful amount and packs heat when you want to. The owner and their team are friendly and approachable. The place is very clean and well maintained. It is a Blacksburg delicacy. Go try it.
Delicious Korean-style food at a reasonable price
I've been craving Bi Bim Bap since I left South Korea a few years ago. This place doesn't disappoint. Great food at a great price in a quaint location. Great gluten free options and popcorn chicken for the kids. Definitely coming back with friends.
The staff is very helpful and food is delicious if want to try something new
Best service ever
This place is so good! The food was delicious! The inside decor is so nice! It's got a very nice atmosphere for enjoying a quick lunch/dinner and spending time with friends. It's also got seats at the wall if you're more into grabbing a quick lunch and getting out ASAP. They've got free wifi as well. The parking is a little tight, but there's always the old middle school parking lot thats not even one block away,
Awesome food! Tastes great, well cooked, and made fast. I eat lunch here all the time. I recommend the pork!
I really enjoy this little Korean restaurant, though it is easy to forget about it because it's on the edge of downtown. Friendly service and the food is ready quickly, so it is a great spot for lunch. Seating is a little limited since it is a small location, but take away is always an option. I highly recommend checking it out!
