A friend of mine brought me here last night (Wed. March 13th). Spoke about it many times when we lived back in Fla and since we were up here we hit it up. I'll let him post his own, but upon entering I recognized it was a typical Northeast Corridor Downtown type building, Circa 1900-1930'ish corner, old bank type entry, ceiling, etc. There was about 8 peeps there, white Christmas tree lights, not trying to be holiday-ish made for a cozy moody ambiance. Lots of historic accents, etc etc. Let's say it was an artist

I have to say there are so many things to enjoy about this place. One word diversity! I can grab a quick simple beer after work or a ginger mule if I want something special. I can sip wine and enjoy the exquisite food on date night and I can dance to a live DJ on the weekends in a place were I know I am going to get great service and there is good atmosphere. I highly recommend this bar it is classy but very inviting which is sometimes hard to do.

Was turned away at the door for violating their "dress code" that wasn't even posted. The staff was completely rude. Get over yourselves, this place is hardly the caliber of place that should have a dress code, especially in Charleston, WV. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

If I could 0 stars, I would. This place rejected us during opening hours because they said we were...laying on the street???? Lmao. We are both well employed and were just looking for a bite to eat. The “doorman” was extremely incompetent and rude. I do not recommend ever going here.
