Lots of decent food options and desserts. The cocktails were unique in the way they were presented but expect ~$15 for these cocktails. They have happy hour menu as well at night. There is a spin the wheel game as well. They make a lot of cocktails from scratch. Cool vibe.

Missed this place! So glad to have found them again in their new location on 1st!!! Wow! I loved them before but this....this was something. Awesome happy hour delivered an incredibly detail oriented cocktail. I have to appreciate the craftsmanship of this place, food and drinks were incredible. But why the review? Dave, our server, his first night on the floor....wait, what? Either this guy is a rockstar server or a true testament to this companies training regiment. This guy was on point with everything during the meal and had a great knowledge of the menu and was super enthusiastic about our menu choices. And he was correct, great meal!!

Went there with an out of town friend for a quick bite. The food tasted good and the portion sizes were right. However, not only they are overpriced, they also have a shady practice of adding an additional percentage charge to your bill under the pretext of cook's compensation or something like that. Perhaps they are too cheap to pay their cooks their fair share from the already premium prices printed on the menu? If they can't pay their staff proper compensation out of the advertised/printed prices, then they should, at the very least, reprint the menus with new prices instead of surprising customers with additional charges.

Nothing too remarkable to share, it's a big bar with lots of drink options (as the name might suggest). Nice outdoor area. A good spot to go on the way to the ferry terminal if you've got time to spare.

The homemade sourdough pasta is absolutely phenomenal. I almost left my husband for the Mac and cheese, it was so perfect - creamy, salty but not too, perfect mix of cheeses, and the pasta shape is great for a full coating of delicious sauce. Their specialty cocktails were unique, tasty, and hilarious (one had a sparkler in it)! Fantastic staff. Ended up here on a recommendation from two strangers at Seattle Beer Co, and I would absolutely recommend it to any strangers who asked me for a lunch or dinner or happy hour rec in Seattle.

My husband and I go here anytime we can for date night and they are always great. The food, service, and drinks are always on point. Tonight Stephanie was our waitress and she was outstanding. She was friendly and incredibly knowledgable about their food and drinks, she even went and looked up a tiny detail about what kind of flour they used because we were curious. Things like this are what keep us coming back!

Food was good but some of the staff came across rude. They seemed very jumpy and always in a rush. Couldn't stand still when taking our order or coming over to collect played etc. Was talking to us very quietly and from very far away. Would start conversations with other people passing by while in the middle of speaking to us. Seemed parculiar.

Extremely overpriced. Mediocre service. Won't be back. We went in on a Monday evening, for happy hour. The menu clearly states "full size portions at happy hour prices." We ordered the Original Mac and 4 Cheeses, for $6 (ordinarily $8, according to the happy hour menu). It was amusingly small. The serving size is preposterous. We checked (and you can too, as their menu is online), and there is, in fact, *no* $8 mac & cheese on the regular menu, but rather *$18*. Based on their claim in the happy hour menu, we expected a full meal. This is the legal definition of false advertising.

I have a no-alcohol drinker's perspective. My soda pop was refilled on request. The pasta came out on sizzling hot plates. Generous portions! Recipes didn't call for much of the meat/seafood portion. Sauce was well prepared. Just not my favorite taste. For those who drink. They roll out a mysterious special mixed drinks flash special every 30to 70 minutes. Popular place . Corner of University street and 1st Avenue.

Stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant walking back from the ballpark and had a fantastic meal there. Skip the fries and opt for the roasted broccoli. And no matter how hungry you are, you will not leave hungry eating the 5oz burger instead of the 10oz. A memorable meal in a place that has a great vibe to it.

Food so so for the price. We ordered fish and chips and we got 3 small pieces of fish plus way over well done fries (per serving). Server was snooty and acted like it's his punishment to be there. I had to ask for a straw to my drink 3 times. I also ordered a glass of wine that I never got and when we mentioned that we have a thing at 8pm (and it was 7pm at that time) he immediately brought us check to pay...which was right after we placed our order. The only time that he came to check on us it was about 25 minutes later... Good thing that this is not the only place with food and alcohol...

Mussels are the BOMB! Whenever we're in Seattle this is my go to lunch/dinner spot. All the booze types are cool too! On Seahawks game days be prepared to wait, if you can get in at all. Just finished a Gourmet Seattle Tour where Von's was one of the six restaurants I got to taste one of their dishes from the menu. It was very delicious tour. Adam our tour guide was very knowledgeable about each of the restaurants.

Service was...weird. Like, our waiter was not the most attentive and was constantly sweaty, as if he was running around servicing multiple tables... mind you, we were the only people in the whole back portion of the restaurant at 10:30p.m. Also, when we first arrived, the hostess literally did not acknowledge us for an uncomfortable amount of time as she was helping a to-go order. However, the manager was very helpful when other staff members did not come through for us. Also, the food was delicious (ordered a few appetizers to share) and the drinks were superb! I can't remember the name of my drink but it came with house-made cotton candy on the top, which melted down as the liquid was poured over it, activating an lighted ice cube! V. cool.

We had the house made gin and tonic and whisky and both were great drinks recommended by our server. The service was great and the manager caught some allergens in my order that I couldn't have with my food allergies. She suggested I order off menu and helped me make a pasta order with their house made pasta. I was really grateful and excited about this, but the dish I got was completely unseasoned. I expected if I could order off menu, the chef would make it taste great, however my food was rather underwhelming.

Very disappointed after having dinner there on Friday early evening. I've been there dozens of times, but this was my last time, due to overcharging. I've enjoyed their Scratch Martinis almost every visit plus the food is normally good. This time I had their $16 Seafood Stew which was pricey but good. It wasn't until I got home that I checked the bill and found they charged me $20 for the Stew. I had even left them a healthy tip. There too many other restaurants in that area to return to a place that screws-up like that. Bye Bye Von's. If you go be VERY CAREFUL and DOUBLE CHECK THE BILL.

Wonderful place for quality cocktails and food! $5 martinis all day/every day. Their Happy Hour is fantastic, and runs on weekends (yay!). They have a really great atmosphere, and they make all their own sourdough pasta and breas - I highly recommend the sourdough baguette w/ mozzarella and pesto. One of my favourite spots downtown.

This place was super impressive visually. Walked in to see whiskey barrels. Being rotated and ages in house, tequila being aged in Bourbon casks on the ceiling and the giant wall of liquor. Biggest selection I a restaurant I have seen. I had the house made pasta with salmon. Sauce was great, pasta was interesting. I won't say it was not good but it did not stand out. One star lost to how incredibly loud it was inside. We couldn't hear a person sitting right in front of us at the table. Hectic environment.

Went to Von's on a Friday during lunch hour and wasn't too busy. Party of 2 got seated right away, and our food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Avocado & Bacon burger w/ Fries and everything was delicious. Seasoned and cooked to my liking. Friend ordered the Cuban which he said was also really good. Great service and great food! (Also you get a 25% disc if you prove WA residency).

We came here for a late lunch after landing in Seattle. There was plenty of outside seating around 2pm on a Tues. We tried the Northwest Wild Salmon pizza for the and the Hot Fennel Sausage and Black Garlic Ricotta White Pizza. I really liked the pasta but not with the salmon, thought the flavor of the salmon didn't blend well with the pasta but individually they were both good. Pizza was good and would get it again, the dough was soft without being too chewy. Kids got the Mac and cheese which I tried as well and it was really good.

Vons is great for a nice night out or for bringing visitors. I've tried a number of food items here and everything has been simply delicious! They have a great happy hour concept whereby bar staff spin a wheel with a number of drink specials. Whatever the wheel lands on becomes the drink special for that hour. You can fault the service here, it's always friendly and accommodating.

A hidden pocket of urban utopia! Okay, I stole that from their sign but Von's is an incredible restaurant offerings dozens of great meal choices including adult Mac & Cheese, Burgers, Pizza, Pasta, and more. They have over 1000 spirits (I think they said >1500 when I last asked) as well as great beer and wine choices. This is a solid place to go with a large group of friends or with your family, all around accommodating. You'll love it, guaranteed.

Our service only came to our table twice to get the order and bring drinks! Which sadly made our experience not pleasant . It also took about an extra 20 minutes to wait for our server to come back to get the check! Maybe next time they will get a 5 star

Cons had amazing food and good waiting staff. The Umami Burger was to die for! Seriously if you like mushrooms this is the burger to go for. Good fries that were obviously fresh cut AND since I am a fan of ranch with my fries my waitress asking if I wanted ketchup or ranch to the fries was actually amazing! I hate forgetting and then having to wait for them to walk back by. The only downfall is that it was super loud. I know it’s a bar, but between the speaker right next to my table and the massive spinning board that is about as annoying as a yappy dog till it stops spinning I had a headache. So just ask to be seated in the back or outside. Otherwise an amazing food experience and great atmosphere.

We Googled “best burgers” and up popped Vons. Our journey began with a craft beer and the Ricochet Rabbit - just get it! We picked the sour dough prosciutto, pickled fig and baby arugula pizza - divine (no we didn’t do the burger). Ben our first class server recommended an off-the-menu French 75 cocktail - just get it! Off the charts atmosphere, top notch service - thank you Zia for your friendly and funny welcome and Ben for your service and excellent recommendations. See you when we’re back in a couple days !

It's a decent place with good food, but the service is bad. Read on. The concierge; Ziya, was extremely condescending and rude. On telling my name, she asked me twice if I was giving her my real name. I don't usually point out names, but, I've never been asked this question before; "Are you sure this is your name?". Once my name and identity was confirmed by TSA officer Ziya, we proceed to order, which took forever to come. The crab cakes were amazing, but you only get 1 for $16, which I was told by the server atleast 3 times before ordering. Not sure why he kept telling me the quantity of crab cakes. I can notice from previous posts that the social media team only answers to positive comments and stays quiet about the negative ones. I won't be surprised if no one replies to this. It goes to show how they can't take constructive criticism. Good luck moving forward.

Vons is the standard in Seattle for delicious burgers. I may not be able to do the monster challenge on my own but when a burger tastes that good, why not try? Billionaire bacon burger is to die for as well. Apart from delicious burgers they also kill it at the pizza and pasta game. Decent size pizzas with the best crust out there. Mac and cheese is a must. Pretty sure they make their own pasta and sourdough bread. Love this place!

I had some of the best pizza I've had anywhere . Just the right amount of garlic ! Some of the best cooks in the Northwest! And they know how to treat those who admit to having just turned 72 !

This is my first time at Von's and I enjoyed it. For me it was on the pricey side but I guess that's the price you pay in Seattle downtown. My colleague wanted to try the pink Paloma martini where the drink comes with cotton candy on top and the waitress pours the drink on the spot! Fun to drink but it cost $13 us. Everyone's meals looked good. The burger portions were big and the fries were tasty. I ordered the salmon pasta and it was fantastic! They make their own sourdough pasta and I wanted to try it. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal

Just about every item on this menu is CORRECT. The Umami Bomb burger is as incredible as it sounds, and the chicken and asparagus pasta is phenomenal. Great selection of mixed drinks with innovative presentations, and the waitstaff is super cool. Definitely warrants repeat visits.

I like Von's 1000SPIRITS and I enjoy their Happy Hour and I especially like their always cheap Manhattan. I think the bang for the buck is really good for a tourist and I would definitely go here to have a local meal at a good price. The sourdough pizza is the way to go! I am not a huge fan of most of the cocktails that are more on the sweet side but they are unique.

Came into this beautiful establishment and was seated by Zia (Sp?), and she was very friendly and gave us a big Von's welcome that we appreciated. We came in to visit Seattle for the first time and after not being able to check in at our hotel quite yet we wandered into the nearby Von's for some lunch. We sat at the bar and Zach greeted us immediately and engaged us about our trip and gave us great conversation AND great service. Friendly welcoming people like these are the foundation to a great restaurant and this is indeed a great restaurant. Would recommend for anyone who needs lunch or dinner downtown and want great food, great drinks, and great service!

Wow. We got in from our flight late and wanted some food and a beer. This place was in our apartment rental, and fit the bill. We didnt expect to get such good food out of this place. Local IPAs were good. Pork confit fries were delicious. Mac n cheese was AMAZING, and Umami burger was earthy and succulent. 10/10 would dine again.

I'm new to Seattle, only in town for a conference and Von's was within walking distance of my hotel. Not only was the walk wonderful, taking me past the historic market, but the food and atmosphere at Von's was great. Service was good, but given how busy the restaurant was at the time it was completely understandable. I had the Sourdough Pasta Carbonara - it was out of this world. Balanced, filling, bacon cooked to perfection - this meal was well paired with a local beer (which unfortunately, I do not recall the brewery). I would gladly visit again, perhaps to try their Pizza or mixed drinks.

Just had an unexpectedly great lunch here and had to review it! We were looking for some place to eat outside during the beautiful weather we were having when my friend pointed out the delicious looking pastas and outside patio seating, so we stopped in. We asked about the wait to sit outside with the super helpful host Marcia (with the blue dress and super cute bangs, hope I got the name right!), but we were sat in minutes. Our server Arik was also very helpful with helping us decide on some day drinks, and the service was great, relaxed but attentive. What really put the whole experience over the top was the homemade sourdough pasta. We both split the spicy fennel meatball and almond pesto and cherve plates, we couldn't decide which was better. I'm excited to bring more people in on future visits.

I had been looking forward to Von's 1000 Spirits for quite some time. I had Hope's of trying some rare bourbon and enjoying good food. It didn't take long for disappointment to set in, well, maybe the 20 minutes it took our waiter to tell me they didn't have my first selection. After striking out on my second selection as well, I headed to the bar to see what they did have. Seriously, the selection of bourbon was very meager, so I went with Irish Whiskey instead. Even that didn't match up to what I have at home. Food was mediocre, my friend ordered a burger medium rare, only to be served one well done. When she mentioned it to the waiter, he said they only do pink or not pink. Good information to have before ordering, and in what world is medium rare considered not pink? You would be better served to buy a good bottle of whiskey and have a fast food burger. One of my worst dining experiences ever.
