The first thing you notice is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The tables did not have the sticky oily feel to them that other places seem to have. The waitress's were very attentive and helpful. The food was great and reasonably priced. We were able to order breakfast and lunch (around 11:30 am) and the wait for the food was not long. We will definitely be back.

Good food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Although...if you are looking for sausage gravy on biscuits do not go here. The sausage gravy tastes like plain old sos to me which indo not care for.

If you are hungry get a scramble lol I was more then happy eating their delicious French toast. Would love to return. Very friendly staff.

Wasn't impressed. Menu variety is so big, your not sure what's super "fresh" or if anything is. One waitress must of been off her rocker and had crappy mannerisms. Other waitress was a lot nicer and helpful. Food was OK but everyone had stomach aches that night. I've heard their ice cream is good but we didn't try it. Don't care to eat here again

The staff is friendly and the food is incredible. If you're looking for a great local gem this is the place! A bit abrasive at first but as soon as you sit down you feel right at home! If you're in the area and you haven't eaten here you have no excuse!

Must be new owners and new cooks,absolutely the worst Hamburger n fries and salad and service ever...I've eaten here over 12 years and has always been a nice place for my family to go eat..and I mean wow!wasn't going to say anything,was the last good simple eats sit down spot in town..oh well I'll wait for a new owner,service like that won't last long...cya trotters :(

This place was very disappointing. Incredibly slow service. Very dirty restaurant Dusty and smells bad. Wait staff doesn't care. Weren't given specials when we sat down. We had a Reuben sandwich which was just okay and a club sandwich which wasn't even okay. Fries were okay dessert menu was good ice cream and dessert choices are good but how can you mess up desserts and ice cream right. Unfortunately we will not go back or recommend this restaurant

I would never suggest this place to anyone the waitress was never around I had to ask the busser for condiments and as I was eating the staff stood and watched me as if I was taking to long to eat my food or was ready for me to leave. This place made me feel uncomfortable and I paid for this..... Don't patronize this place ever

Place was beat and clean. Tables well organized. The staff was courteous though a little slow and laid back. Try the cashew chicken. It was really good. The gnocci was good too. Didn't have dessert but they looked incredible. Prices were fair. Service was fast. This review would have been a five if the staff had been more attentive. They were not bad just not great. I will go back.

This is a small but homey type of restaurant. The food, staff, and service is good. The prices are fair. It is a nice place for a good breakfast or lunch. I cannot comment about dinner, as I have not yet tried it.

I move my family out here from Alki Beach,because of work, i did a service call (plumbing) at Trotters that night i took the clan there for dinner it reminded me of a place back in the 70s called Ferrells ,it was the same but they had this dish called the pig trough, you eat it under a hour free great place gone with the times. If you go to Trotters my fav. Chilli cheese burg. One of my favorite past times while waiting is to look around and read about Auburn when it was called Slaughter after well it weren't verry nice read it for yourself. Also WHILE at Trotter learn about Mt Rainer went off over 300 years ago sending over 300 feet of mud and rock right here in Auburn there just enough dirt mixed with so you don't here it rattle. That's what i love about Trotters just read the Wall's while waiting for your great meal. But all honesty it was just a little better befor Alki bakery bought it. Still a great pl. Papa Don

Amazing seafood alfredo!!! Awesome ice cream selection. Really liked the staff each time I've been there. No matter who it is they are always very kind and make sure you have everything you need. We drive 30 minutes out to come have a family dinner here when we get the chance. Worth it if you want friendly staff and awesome ice cream!

The burgers are fantastic and so is the ice cream. The servers were nice and attentive. The prices are pretty good. It's not the most complicated place and that's kind of makes it good. It's a good, simple American restaurant for a relaxing, casual meal.

My family loves this restaurant the couple that currently owns it are super sweet and really great with kids! We just had my nieces birthday party a couple weeks ago and they were super quick to get food out and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious! also they are very reasonably priced! Great little local joint.

Good if not a bit bland food at reasonable prices. Not huge, but reasonable portions. 50s music plays in the background. This all makes sense as I watch the clientele walk in the door. You get the feeling large plate of sriracha covered food could end one of them in an instant. Well, I do. Maybe you are a good person. As we were waiting for our food I heard someone say "Your table is open." and an elderly gentleman sat down across from us and started reading his paper. A real newspaper. A few minutes later they brought his food. I don't want you to think I was upset he got his food before us, I just knew this probably happened every day. This is a friendly and family friendly American fare with friendly staff.

Best family restaurant- ice cream parlor. Food is yummy. And Tuesdays is a Cheese burger meal special day "$3.99. New owners fantastic personalities. Serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Fantastic ice cream deserts, along with pies and a few other choices. I can hardly wait for the new owners new recipes. Love this place and we meet family members here for meals, or desert.

The grade of excellent is posted on the door and that's exactly what it is. Along with the home style atmosphere there is this feeling as soon as you walk in the door, that your going to have a good meal. Real ice cream shakes or sundaes is a specialty and the food is most definitely excellent. Should be a favorite of anyone living in or around Auburn.

Our very 1st time here we decided to check it out; first walk in smells the carpet stinks old. We sat down & the waitress came don't introduce herself& start asking if we wanted any drinks her name is Amanda very rude she walk away while we ask her something " quote wait" all of the sudden we feel like we are not welcome by the way she talk to us. We had our soup but the service was slow we almost walk out if we didn't started already. We order the stake& meatloaf dinner it was ok. Great classic chowder. Odd service setup though, the bus boy was more attentive and got right to helping us, eve though he couldn't take our food order. The waitress and other staff were very none carrying and nowhere as good on service, they didnt say great or acknowledge us leaving. Great classic look, some of the upholstery is falling apart, but that might be part of the classic neighborhood resturant vibe they are going for.

You know if you compare this place to other places I'm not sure it deserves 5 stars. But if you read it on its own merits of being a stand-alone restaurant in Auburn that isn't connected to a national chain it's definitely five stars. It's an older restaurant but they have really good food and a great homie feel. If you are looking for good breakfast and good comfort food this is a place that you want to go. I highly recommend it.
