REVIEWS OF The Carlile Room IN Washington

Aaron Lee

Food and service is excellent. The atmosphere is fun. Great place give it a try.

Claudia Aurora D

Food was delicious, if you're lookin g for a culinary adventure and some palate dancing food. This is the place for you. A little on the pricey side.

Debbie Johnson

Was here for an event so I'm rating it from that perspective. Not a good venue for a group happy hour. We had 25 stuffed into a long, narrow space with one server and one food station at the end of the space. It was incredibly cramped and as a result of the single server, service was slow. The food served was great. I'd probably try this place for a pre-show dinner but would not hold an event here.

Cynthia Li

Good brunch spot. They have an interesting take on the normal brunch foods, and everything was delicious. We had Hunter's breakfast and a tumeric pasta.

Valerie Vertz

Food was exceptional. The service very good. Great location. Never disappointed.

Anna Pereira

The ambiance and location were great. The service was nice. And we enjoyed the cocktails. We were disappointed by the quality of the lamb and desserts, specifically questioning the freshness of the dishes.

Jessie Marks

My friend and I went here for late night fare after a show. The appetizers were extremely tasty. The house made gingerale was to die for. The chocolate cake dessert had excellent blend of flavors and textures. The raspberry sorbet with ginger cookies was also amazing. We will be back.

Vinay Nadig

Awesome vegetarian options. Loved the taste

Brendan Bachman

Fairly typical large venue bar/restaurant, a little too on the tacky side for my taste. Drinks were okay, not great, but the service was good. Didn't eat, so can't comment on the food.

Robin Billings

Cool vibe, great food, amazing cocktails.

Randy Saager

This place is guaranteed to make you happy to eat vegetarian. A few meat dishes, but why? Great food.

Chase Simmons

Chill environment, cool bar great drink list. Would visit again as a frequent Seattle goer!

Claire Hoover

They have a pretty great impossible burger. The veggie smorgasbord is a must!

Andrea Tucker

Good music , (DJ) chill atmosphere, subtle sophistication, friendly service. Recommend

Elliot Pearl-Sacks

Another very good Tom Douglas spot - great food, especially the many interesting vegetarian options and excellent pasta(s). A few misses (not a big fan of the ultimate burger, and had some fairly raw turnips) and the food is definitely pricey, but still a very solid downtown spot.

Devin Mikes

Best service during a visit, and amazing food. Oh yeah, the drinks were great too. Highly recommend. The music and decor matched like nothing I've ever seen. Do yourselves a favor and go.

Carol Farr

Interesting food & very nice people

Lois Evans

One of my top places for tasty American food. it was so savory. service is consistently great. it has a great interior. they have so many great reviews for a reason.

Sarah Brauneis

Called moments before arriving and the staff was able to sit us immediately once we walked in the door. Not the best customer manners on my part but I do appreciate the staff for accommodating us! Great flavors and options of dishes. Ordered from the restaurant week menu which was one app (asparagus), one main (steak), and a dessert (coconut pie). Everything was fresh, warm, and delicious. Service was quick, friendly, efficient, and made sure to check in on us multiple times during the meal despite the bustle of the restaurant. Will defiantly be going back. Located near many shops and venues.

Green Monkey

Good music for an up beat brunch. The food is reasonably priced and tasty enough. I have other brunch places I enjoy more in Seattle. But this place is not overly crowded. The old Bay breakfast potatoes and pecan bread toast are worth checking out.

Adam Nickerson

We had several amazing appetizers here. Scallops, procuito plate and chips and dip. Everything was spectacular. Why can't all chips be like that? Our waitress Serenity was so pleasant to us and took extra time to converse about things we were interested in and genuinely seemed happy to help. Just a great experience. Will for sure return.

Rebecca Davis

Not really a great place for late night snacks-spendy booze and food.

Pat Blo

The best. With all the great restaurants in the city I never get to Carlile Room as much as I want. I try to visit at least every season to see what Chef Dezi has conjured up for us vegetarians. Every morsel is so mindfully prepared with attention to enhancing the ingredients rather than smothering their essence. Everything is so tasty and oviously touched by loving hands... The service is always wonderful, never overbearing, always attentive. I have been to Carlile Room at least a dozen times and I'm consistently comfortable and well taken care of always. Maybe it's the extraordinary craft cocktail list talking, but I feel completely at home there and I leave feeling like I've experienced an EVENT, not just "had dinner". Cheers to Carlile Room. Always 100%.

Saurabh Bhatt

Loved the food. Quantity was moderate and the place was a bit pricey for it. But the taste, ambiance and location made up for it. We ordered banana nut french toast, avacado toast and cheesy organic grits. Everything was delicious. Pork was a delight.

Rafael Miranda

Very good restaurant and atmosphere. I ordered the impossible Burger; it and the French fries were done to perfection. Extremely tasty. I'll be visiting this restaurant again when I'm back in Seattle.

Erin McGee

Very cool atmosphere, super friendly service -- we didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us regardless since it was still early. Best veggie burger I've ever eaten in my life so I am for sureeeee coming back for more. And can't forget that Manhattan. Really great vibe here -- perfect spot for before/after a show at the Paramount.

Jenna Hutson

Veggie platter on happy hour was the best deal for a fantastic meal.

Richard Blacketer

I only ate dessert, but it was good. The Turkish coffee icecream was a slight modification to the standard that was noticeably better. Paired with almond biscotti and a glass of amerreto it was perfect. Lighting was a bit too dim imo.

An Ordinary Passenger

If in the middle of the night in Capital Hill getting hungry and all restaurants are closed, no worries you can always find some of the bests food in Seattle here. High quality and healthy food, friendly staff, comfortable environment plus antique decorated. This is my first experience and I’m sure I ll come back soon. I ordered ‘rotisserie chicken’ which included ( hardshell squash, fig, fresh goat cheese) for $17 and on happy hour menu, happy chop salad with ( leafy greens, cheddar, Muscatel vinaigrette, and sunflower seed) for $7 good deal. This place deserves more than five stars, I give them ten

Alison Driver

Great food and wonderful drinks. The Carlisle Room embraces 1960s while delivering a kitschy and fun experience. The staff are always great too! Get Manhattan or a Rob Roy and enjoy an excellent dining experience.

Lesli Higginson

Excellent service, friendly staff. Get the cod. It was outstanding!

Whitney M

Such an awesome restaurant. My friends and I were seated quickly and the food was amazing.

Amy Phalen

It's a wonderful place with excellent service.

Jennifer Hurst

So keep your girls night convos hush-hush... if the bartender's hear problems, they will slap you with intoxication. Tell you to pay your tab and get out. Wow, never been so unappreciated for my business. I will NEVER visit, nor my friends, ever again.

Benjamin Allen

Oh my goodness. What a smorgasbord! I can't believe how delicious this menu is. You can't go wrong with any selection.

wefassett

I ordered the small filet. The steak was ok, not as tender as you would expect. But the accoutremants were magnificent.

James Davies

Walked in and sat at the bar. I came here on recommendation for their local beer selection. Couldn't decide what to order so I asked for a flight and they made it happen. All of the staff stopped by to ask which one I liked most and gave their inputs. Incredibly friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. Music was at a good level for conversations without telling as well as lighting was perfect. Recommend for beer. Can't judge the kitchen.

Anya Gilad

What a wonderful brunch. We wanted to go to another place half a mile from there which had a very long line so we decided to go somewhere else. This was a very good decision. These place should be packed for brunch. It was delicious and the giant mimosa is the cherry on top!

Bettina Hannigan

Enjoyable local vibe. Good food, limited options. Good service and food. Not for short pockets.

Karin Yarbrough

On your way to a show downtown? Grab a drink and some food here. The vegetarian fare is the best, seasonal and delightful choices on the menu paired with a generous wine and spirits selection. The wait staff is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating.

B.S.C.

LOVE the Tom Douglas restaurants!! The Carlile Room in particular seems to have amazingly fresh, seasonal dishes, and even often from their own farm. Especially fun for vegetarians since they have rather creative dishes. The chickpea fritters are a staple and a MUST order, and this time they had a great halloumi cheese dish inspired by Hawaiian pizza - with a dried tomato paste and grilled peaches. Their cocktails are very well made, and inventive too!

m k

Excellent food. The Rainbow plate lived up to expectations. Cool decor and atmosphere. A great choice for a meal and show at the Paramount.

Annette de Soto

The food was good and they had an extensive selection of vegetarian items which was impressive for a non vegetarian restaurant. The service was excellent and they really went the extra mile for the children in our group, making them special drinks and ensuring they got their food right away. Super grateful for the thoughtful service!

TJ Olsen

Been in town 3 days been here 3 times, and not just because it was around the corner from our hotel. The drinks, staff and space are all fantastic. Had brunch today and can confirm the food is as on point as everything else at this seemingly underrated spot.

Natalie Baker

Rainbow plate is delicious!!! Scallops app should be avoided. Yummy drinks :)

nancylee bouscher

Get the giant rainbow platter. And yes, you want dessert.

Jimmy Hoffa

Been here many times over the years and seriously love the rotating menu, but on my last visit I tried so impossible burger FTW! I'm coming back again for this. Great drinks and service as usual.

Justine Ayon

The Food was Beautiful and Delicious full of flavor! Good energy and friendly staff. Good music

Joann Shanks

Very lovely and casual place to share with anyone.

Toby Horner

Steak was overpriced and overcooked - larger portion was two smaller pieces. Burgers only served bloody or charred. I wasn't impressed my first time here and the second time wasn't much better. Our server was great, didn't have any drinks but they looked good.

Randy Rajala

Good food.

Gregory

Stunning happy hour cheese plate

Aimie Litchfield

One of my favorites!

Sue Frause

Another fine Tom Douglas restaurant for lunch and dinner ... Good for weekend brunch, too.

Arthur Zey

The beef shoulder was amazing; my experience has been that everything there is delicious and also very well presented. Their creative combination of food items in their dishes is surprisingly better then I would have anticipated!

Benjamin Massello

Tasty breakfast. Nice ambient.

Junying Shi

Vegetarian dishes here are awesome!

Geoff Deane

We’ve eaten here a couple of times and had great experiences. Convenient for a pre-show meal.

Erika Tedin

We stopped in for cocktails only before and after a show. They had adorable little shelf tables for two. Cocktails were fantastic. Food looked great, service was exceptional. I will ve back for brunch, but with a reservation!

Jenn Pesut

Fun place. Nice that they take reservations for brunch! Yummy food and good service. Reasonable prices for the area. Try their house-made hot sauce!!

Patricia Skoien

James is amazing! He provided excellent customer service and made our visit at the Carlisle an absolute joy. Thank you!!!!

Pinky L

Always a great vibe in the bar..the chef is wonderfully talented

Natashia Dault

Very friendly staff and fantastic service. While waiting for a show at the paramount we stopped in to pre-game. My boyfriend accidentally spilled his beer on himself and our bartender was quick to help him with a towel as apposed to napkins. When he returned from the bathroom she hid refilled his glass back half way. We didn’t eat here but our drinks were well poured and I saw they literally serve your food on a silver platter. Nice touch! I had the Carlisle Cup and Peach Mule. Both very refreshing and tasty semi- sweet drinks.

Tim Meagher

Excellent food but had to shorten our meal because it took so long to order entree.

Somya Mehdiratta

Good service and food. It's on the expensive side.

Gintare Laniauskaite

Great location for pre theather gathering. Food 4* Service 3*

Daniel Hagedorn

Drinks before a show. Good vibe

John Jones

great drinks and great service

Eric Bacon

Politicized receipts leave a bad after taste in my mouth. Boo hiss, Tom Douglas. And put a damn Benedict on the menu if you have brunch.

Stuart Butler

Super food (if a bit on pricey side), friendly professional service and good atmosphere

Nandini Mazumdar

AMAZING brunch spot - fantastic food, great service and reasonable prices. The French toast is OUTSTANDING, truly delicious. The avocado toast is good too, the addition of beets is quite unique. Highly recommend for brunch!

Jon Bradford

Cool place

Chris McQuillan

Good spot for a pre-show at the Paramount as it is right across the street. Not a huge menu, but that is a good thing! You don't need to be going to a show to enjoy this spot. Its worth checking out.

Alyssa Marie

We went after a play at the paramount and it was the best food I've ever had! The rainbow plate and the cheese plate were incredible and our waitress was so sweet and helpful.

Jamie Phillips

Don't go on Friday, the DJ is to loud. The food is OK but I expected better from Tom Douglas.

Yuri Tucker

Great DJs in a gorgeous midcentury modern setting.

Vuyo Mhlotshane

Amazing place and wonderful staff

Gary K-Medeiros

Excellent food great friendly service

Joanna Van Ronk

I love the Carlile Room! My friend and I have season tickets to the Paramount, and have stopped trying to explore other restaurants in the area. They are pricey, but the Carlile's consistent service, delicious food, and themed drinks have us coming back every time. I highly recommend making a reservation as they are always before around showtimes.

Paul Barron

Tom Douglas spot on! - Legend in seafood, but more important, they get it right. Enjoy the Salmon and break the bank on the Vespers at the bar.

Sara X

There are two size options for the entrees which allows you to try more different things without being too full. The rotisserie chicken on the current menu was tender and well seasoned. The cranberry pear cobbler with a hint of ginger flavor is also worth trying. Lots of vegetarian options too.

Tonjia Linderoth

First, they put an automatic 20% surcharge on your bill that goes to the company, not the server/bartender?! We were a party of two at the bar at happy hour. Service was good, beer selection was very safe and conservative, happy hour apps were not impressive.

János Szablya

Their beet salad is amazing...

Kristofor McKean

cool spot with solid food. And, if youre in a pinch, condoms in the bathroom!

Greg Wadsworth

Excellent food, farm to table fresh.

Kat Sam

Enjoyed the decor and cocktails at this nifty spot. Food is rich and flavorful. Great to hang out with friends before as well as after a show at the Paramount.

B. E-W

Amazing drinks, good food, great location and great service. This place is the perfect location for happy hour, a nice dinner or just a quick snack with friends.

Brian Gruber

The food was good but the whole small plate/large bill isn't my style.

Bogdan Kyryliuk

Incredible steak. Be aware that tips are included in the bill. However service is really great and is worth it.

Puru Pathak

Lovely place with excellent service. Food here is delicious but the quantity could have been a bit more! Would recommend curried fries, radiatori pasta and coconut pie as the desert.

Aaron Klingensmith

My fiance and I chose The Carlile Room to host our rehearsal dinner and it turned out to be an EXCELLENT choice. From the moment we started working with them, it was apparent the respect, care, and professionalism with which they are accustomed to treating their patrons. Chelsea helped us pick out a menu and they even printed out specific menus for our party so that our guests would know what we had picked out for us to try. Food is something we love to share together and with our loved ones. The Carlile Room made this an experience that was perfect for us. Thank you!!

LR White

Excellent food, kind service

David Bienvenu

Fun place, great food and wait staff

Paul Klein

Went for drinks before a show at the Paramount. Good service and appetizers. Glad we had a reservation, place filled quickly.

Tom Connell

Excellent food and staff.

Jeff Schiffman

Tried the rainbow vegetable sampler and everything was so delicious.

David Curtis

Great spot b4/after a show at the Paramount. The impossible burger is great! Somewhat Pricey.

Sarah Bonck

I would not recommend this restaurant. I had lunch there with a party of six and had very poor, inattentive service. The restaurant was pretty empty and our server was very disinterested in us. There is a 20% gratuity added automatically to your check and it was not well earned. Super cool vibe and it is decorated very well, but overall poor experience.

Tonya McNabb

Great happy hour, cool vibe & people

Sarah Sutter

I can't say wow enough to really do this place Justice. The atmosphere was really fun, and it was a bustling spot given that it was opening night at the Paramount for a new show. The staff was particularly attentive to make sure that if we were trying to get to the show on time that they would have our food out to us in plenty of time. As we were not headed to the show, we were able to indulge in a couple of appetizers as well as the small plate dinners, and of course dessert! I have no idea who eats the large plate dinners as the small ones were plenty large enough for everyone at our table. I have the Cod with a tarragon, butter, and spring vegetable mix. Melt-in-your-mouth goodness! The rhubarb pastry with sauce and vanilla ice cream was also a distinct treat. One of my dining companions had the cheese option and although I tend to be more of a sweets person, I would seriously give consideration to the cheese plate on another night.

Patrick Conlan

A warm refuge on an icy night. Good cocktail menu. Short menu but the hamburger did not disappoint - very rare though, so request more doneness if that bothers you.

Barry Frith's

Food was fine but they force a 20% tip. WTF. Tips are optional for good service, not a tax so they can provide extended job benefits to their employees. If extended benefits are necessary they pay them out if the companies pocket, not mine.

Oren Weil

Nice place, pricey food!!!

Michael Hutchinson

Great tasting and healthy food! Great choice (with reservations) for a dinner before a show at the Paramount theater!

Emil Minerich

Good place nice beer selection.

Niqui Kukel

Amazing everytime I go! Old fashoons are on point and the food is spectacular

Matt Logan

Fish was overcooked and oddly seasoned, pasta was watery, service was slow (but friendly), prices were quite steep! Drinks were good and dessert was great.

Jared Wengert

The Carlisle Room's food was very good! Our table of six loved everything we ordered, minus the pasta: cauliflower and kale salad was amazing, pasta was okay, burger was fantastic, cod was extremely good, asparagus was great, and the parsnips were such a wild mix of flavors but enjoyable. Also, the homemade ranch is inappropriately delicious! There are a TON of vegetarian options, three or four lower carb options, and plenty of gluten-, nut-, and dairy-free options. They also readily customized our orders! Erin went above and beyond finding out specific ingredients for several dishes so folks in my party with dietary restriction were confident of their orders. One note: a 20% gratuity is already included in your check. I wanted to leave a much bigger tip and Erin said I could just write it in if I really wanted.

Jeff Sherman

Cool place, they had a DJ and good drinks after the show at the Paramount across the street.

Kevin Nguyen

Celebrated my wife's birthday there. Very cool spot with great people n service. Outstanding food n drinks. Don't forget to order the hush puppies. You're welcome.

Braden Lood

The Food, atmosphere and staff are always delightful!

Erin Childs

Excellent food and drink! Service was exceptional. Will be back!!!

Mary Kimani

Awesome place. I loved the food, cocktails, ambience and location. This is a good place to grab a drink with a friend, a date or just by yourself at the bar. Unfortunately it closes early which is a bummer especially over the weekend. I will definitely be going back! I'd recommend anyone in the Seattle area to try it.

Thomas Wysocki

The beef burger (big, juicy, quite messy) and the fries were both great. Also quite great was the peach cobbler for dessert. Service was quite good, although like many other restaurants they drop the bill on the table while still eating and say “no rush”... personally not a fan of that.

Lilli Dennison

Great DJs

Matt Marshall

Prices are high compared to a run of the mill joint. This is not one of those though. Food was perfectly prepared and tasted great. The only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service was slow to start. Was seated at a table for 15 minutes after ordering drinks before they showed.

Brenna B

Great vegetarian restaurant. They also have meat selections but the focus is on new, exciting vegetarian options. Try the Hunter S. Thompson breakfast in the bar after 11 pm, it's awesome (definitely not vegetarian). I dream about it sometimes... Great place to go after a night at the Paramount theatre.

ryry J

For Sunday lunch the options are rather limited. My dish was over salted and I often add salt, so just trust me on that one. Service was great and don’t be put off by weird 20% extra on bill, that is the tip for which there is no extra spot on the bill.

Akhil Sakpal

Great experience as always.. Was made even better by the bartender Evan tonight..

Gabriel Pratt

Great place for an upscale dinner. Service is phenomenal. The entire wait staff is beyond nice and very professional. The food gets better with a large group. The plates are great when shared family style. Hard to recommend anything because the menu is farm fresh and seasonal, but the chicken and cod mains I had were a great pick

Brenda Smith

Excellent food. Would totally recommend it.

Rebecca Bowers

Get the breakfast pasta! Perfection! And the burger is delicious, even for brunch.

Charles Nowell

We definitely got all the good stuff. Everything we had was very well executed and presented.

HELEN BROOKS

The veggie combo appetizer is incredible!

Ewan Tinitali

Friendly service. Great food and drinks.

Tausha Comrie

Amazing service. Delicious food. Great atmosphere

Matthew Buck

Great service!

Tanner H.

The food was really good but the prices were certainly eye bulge inducing. Note that that include a 20% gratuity charge on your receipt, so keep that in mind. A small meal for two people costed $80. On another note, I was impressed with the service, food quality, and theming of the restaurant.

Lavarock AV

Vegetables have never been so delectable. Their sauces and sides abound which five main entrées: beef, cod, fowl and their Impossible Burger, which is not as good as The Whiskey Bar on 2nd, however other vegetable choices more than make up for it.

Stephanie VanArnam

Best whiskey sour Ever! Careful, though, it'll cost ya $13. It's worth it! Great food.

Chris Spurlock

A bit pricey? Yes. Costly/difficult parking? Of Course. Worth it? Most definitely. I've always had a great experience at the Carlile Room. It's a great place to go before a show at the Paramount and there are plenty of parking options nearby (even if none of them are cheap/free). I like the semi art deco atmosphere and excellent service. The food of course is pretty amazing as well.

Benjamin Pardue

A great space

Jeremy Cornelle

Food was amazing.. a great brunch. I ordered the Hunters breakfast, steak and eggs, with fries, bacon and toast.... Also a dessert...also comes with milk and coffee.. I substituted OJ. At no charger... Now beyond food service was all smiles but one server was lacking in follow through... As a team the other came to the rescue.. would visit again for the food but definitely a better server.. Kinda like someone didn't have their coffee yet this morning.

Tairiny Simeonato

Great place for food and drinks. My favorite dish is the fries with mushroom gravy. If you like spicy food, I would recommend the pan fried padrons and shishitos. I got the Carlile Cup for drink and I really enjoyed it. It is light and not too sweet

Justin Scott-Coe

A wonderful place for our anniversary breakfast - thank you Michael!

Nathan Grover

Good food and atmosphere. A tiny bit pricey, but that's okay when one considers all that they do for their employees and the fact that tips are not expected.

Christine Ivans

Outstanding vegetarian plates. The carrots... you must have the carrots. I am not a vegetarian but my friend is so we chose this location. I love vegetables so this place was perfect. We also had the imitation hamburger and I was blown away at how good it was. This is my go to place with an out if town vegetarian friends.

Bryan Stroh

Wonderful happy hour! We enjoyed the pbj boilermaker food. Acorn squash tempura was out of this world and curry gravy fries are worth the entire trip to Seattle.

Marta Falkiewicz

Nice place for breakfast

Katie Zeleski

Our pre-Hamilton dinner here was fantastic! They even had a few Hamilton - themed items on the menu. Fun drinks, too! We did not throw away our shot!

Kunwar Digraj Singh Jain

Amazing appetizers and main course. Eat the chickpea fritters for sure. Great beers on tap too!

Andy Bishop

Ordered the Hunter breakfasts for brunch. Delicious-ness on a silver platter.

Tiffany Rodriguez

Staff was friendly and food was great! Rotisserie chicken is not your run of the mill restaurant chicken, it’s was wonderful and I highly suggest it.

Nancy White

Great happy hour and wonderful place for people who love their vegetables. Try their amazing vegetable platter... Mind-blowing. Yummy drinks, I'll be back.

Keef Aragon

I've walked by this place a thousand times and thought it looked terrible from the logo, the decor and the overall vibe. That was so wrong! I finally went in and found that it is by far the best Tom Douglas restaurant in the city. Healthy, well prepared, delicious New American fare that highlights the natural flavor of the main parts of the dish perfectly, free from pretense or haught.

Kacey L

Spend 80 bucks on three drinks, and the waitress graciously informed us that she had already included her tip in the bill. The waitress that we had only seen the two times during the hour that we had been there. Was a very unfortunate experience, am not sure when our society fell so far that a gratuity is no longer based on service and expected.

Bryan North

On Saturday morning on Oct 9 the staff of two white males were outback before opening and I overheard them joking about spitting in people’s food in passing. Then the employees proceeded to yell at multiple bikers who were minding their own business, including myself. I’ve been the victim of a car almost killing me because he ran a stop sign. But the employees didn’t care. I was obeying all Seattle laws and staying in a slow safe speed. They just yelled and berated people. Apparently Tom Douglas employees think they are better than other people who cannot afford cars. The employees were completely mean-spirited and pompous individuals. Unless you want to pay premium price for staff to spit in food then I would stay far away until they hire more appropriate help.

D Nyagolova

The food choices were limited for brunch. The price was unreasonably high for eggs from a bag. And if you don't get Bulgarian feta don't call it Bulgarian feta. We know the difference. The French toast was oilly. I am pretty sure dinner would be better but if you do brunch you should do it right.

Jackson Kilmer

Fine food...great location awesome staff

Matt Knezevich

Carlile Room is a chic spot with plenty of tasty things to nibble on before or after a show, or any time you want to feel just a little more classy than normal. Prices are decent, and the food and drinks are outstanding. Breakfast is just as good as lunch and dinner. Do yourselves a favor and sit at the counter for a friendly and relaxed breather! The staff is great about setting realistic expectations on wait-times and their ability to get you seated, fed, and paid up before a show. On occasion, they've said we should look elsewhere, which has always been appreciated rather than feeling anxious as showtime nears across the street and we sweat it out over our meal.

Greg Lacrosse

Experience And small portion staff was not friendly at all

Lyndsay Toensing

The service and food here is amazing! But make a reservation or you probably won't get in. Great for vegans and non-vegans.

Mahadevan Vaidyanathan

The steak salad brunch was pretty good.

Jenna Littlewood

Been here a few times now, and loved every time. Great amazing drinks and staff is amazing. Always on point

Carolyn Smith

Tom Douglas restaurants can feel like a hit or miss. Some feel a bit dated. This one is not the case. We visited for brunch. I recommend making a reservation for unless you're comfortable sitting at the bar. We ordered the acai bowl and 3-egg omelette. Both were excellent. The host was a super friendly middle-age woman. Bar staff spoke too quietly for an active place, but adjusted by the third time we had to ask her to repeat herself.

prosperous T.

The best magical place in the world why because of the awesome menu the best part of one of my order was the yummy cake that tasted like Christmas in my mouth!!!!

Annalee Tobey

Good food - limited menu but nice drink selection. Fun atmosphere and right across from the Paramount. Perfect for an after show cocktail!

Sagar Joshi

Great place to hang out. Nice ambience. 4 start because their happy hour menu is not interesting in my opinion.
