REVIEWS OF Skillet Diner IN Washington

Greg Bem

Pretty good quality food, but a generic menu. Small portions for the prices. Basic cocktails cost a lot. Service is Seattle Slow Casual. Good soundtrack = +1 star.

Juan Castro

Not bad for an airport restaurant. Service was excellent. The french fries were not that good, fried chicken is only dark meat. The fish(cod) was good. Very quiet eating area.

Eloy Zamora

My wife and I love coming here for breakfast, the service is excellent and the food is has amazing flavor and presentation.

Nick Jensen

Went to the new Sea Tac place. Service was mediocre. Food was mediocre. In all honesty...for all the hype this place gets? The rave ratings? I don't get it. I got the "super grilled cheese" or whatever they call it. It was literally 95% bread and 5% cheese. Honestly there was nothing amazing about it lmao. Super lame sandwhich. And the fries came unsalted and straight up tasted like Ore Ida fries baked in the oven. None of it was "bad." Just super basic and lame. Save your money.

Elizabeth Burnett

Outstanding breakfast. Best breakfast we’ve had here in Seattle. Great service. Excellent food

Jim Hartley

The best meatloaf I have ever had (please don't tell my mother)!

Michael Tomkins

One of our party has a mobility issue and another was parking the car. I went to check in. The host asked if my party was here, I said yes. He then said that since he didn't see them, I would have to wait, basically telling me that I was lying. It was a matter of seconds before they were at the door. There was no one else waiting, no one to take the table. There is always more than one way to say something. He could have asked just that I wait a minute, after asking how many we were and not seeing them for himself. I would have been none the wiser and happy, but to tell me that he had to see everyone for himself and not taking my word made me so angry. There were no other incoming customers in sight, you would think that they would be welcoming and happy to seat people. I will think twice before going there again and getting such treatment. They gained nothing by this and only accomplished offending the customer.

deepti verma

Fish and chips had too much batter and burger was just okay

Grace TS

Have had many post-nightshift breakfasts here. It's not the warmest vibe (like Volunteer cafe), but the food is always solid. And they have amazing, soft, gooey (and ginormous) cinnamon rolls—think they’re only avail weekends.

Joshua Makori

Great staff. Welcoming. Good food and quick service

Amethyst Beach

Haven't been in a while cuz it's always line-out-the door, but happened by at the perfect time on a Sunday and enjoyed a wonderful (and substantial) meal with excellent service. Our amazing server even brought us our Farmers Market mushrooms we left behind, tho we had walked up the block a little bit. Major

Paige Luebbert

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night in Seattle. This place was not busy and we received remarkably excellent service. I had the Cobb salad (very substaintial) and my boyfriend had the bacon mac and cheese which was super rich. This was a perfect place to grab an easy delicious dinner, without worrying about the weekend Dinner Fuss.

Kimberly Appenzeller

Awesome service, wait staff incredible food is delicious. The vibe in this place is up beat, I am vacationing from Phoenix and I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Tom Soyars

We got there and no tables were available so 5 of us sat at the counter. It was fun to watch the prep going on in the kitchen. The service was very attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. Nice place.

DamnThat Noise

That was an OUTSTANDING brunch! Everything was on point. Probably the best Breakfast Burrito and potatoes I've ever had. Great service but I would HIGHLY recommend calling in for a reservation if you're not the waiting type.

Vernesta Mackey

Their food is very good.

Steve Bateman

Awesome breakfast. Great biscuits & gravy, potatoes, chicken & waffles, bacon & eggs. Everything was delicious. Prices were in line with quality!

Jason Breaux

Food was great and service was exceptional.

Jeremy Martin

Some amazing breakfast/brunch food. The four of us split a cinnamon roll (otherwise it's big enough to be a meal) and it was heavenly. Otherwise I had a fairly traditional breakfast and it did not disappoint, especially the bacon. Coffee really hit the spot as well. Really nice staff. Be prepared for a wait on weekends.

Heidi Hun

Food was delicious, large portion size, reasonable price. The service was great as well. I've tried many other breakfast/brunch places, but I would have to say Skillet is one of my favorites.

Paul Sebelien

Such amazing food. The best biscuits and gravy I've ever had

Mariam Greb

We had trouble finding parking but had called in our order so we were able to just run in. Fantastic burger joint! We had The Chub burgers as recommended by others and will definitely be back to have it again. Spent under $20 each for burgers and a side, no drinks. So not the cheapest but very worth it. Sauce, burger, bun, everything was on point. Friendly staff, good experience overall. Recommended.

Joseph Corry

Amazingly good. I had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese with fried chicken inside and a cup of Tomato bisque, and shared a cinnamon bun with my fellow diner, who got the Serious Toast. Everything was unbelievably tasty. High attention to detail on the texture and overall flavor. Heaping portions, fair prices, friendly staff. Just overall an excellent experience and by far the best brunch I've had in Seattle thus far.

Hotdog Bun

Delicious fried chicken and waffles. Try it, you'll like it.

Hattie Yates

Now, I think you want to know what was my favorite dish, right? My favorite one was the stuffed dates!!!Wow, they had gorgonzola cheese inside and covered with bacon. The mixed texture and flavors of it were sensational. The crunchy and smoked bacon, the creamy dates and almost melting in your mouth gorgonzola cheese, made it the BEST of the day. Thank you!

Andrew Prentice

Took a friend here for lunch on a Saturday. I have been here once before, but left due to a 45 minute wait. This time we had a table in 15. Picked the Little Rob + Fried Chicken, glorified diner food. Drinks were well priced. All in all $20 a person which is impressive in Capitol Hill. Very worth a 15 min wait, wouldn’t recommend for a 45 min wait... I might be back again depending.

Denise Burnham

Straight off of the plane, we came here for breakfast to try and adjust to the time (lunch time at home). It's a little out of the way, but in a great location to walk around and explore! Skillet has that classic diner feel, open kitchen, but comfy enough to talk and enjoy a meal! I'm going to start with the morning taters (home fries) were my absolute favorite! Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right! The balance of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! I had the breakfast burrito; fried chicken, scrambled eggs, cheese, and I added avacado. While everything was pretty tasty, I found myself reaching for the salt and tapatio hot sauce. The chicken needed a little love, but overall a great meal! The coffee was smooth and just what I needed to keep going for the morning! All in all, great experience and tasted good. Get here early though, it definitely started to get busy (inside and outside seating) around 10:30/11:00 a.m.

Ylana Nelson

SO GOOD. I love their food! Amazing location, super friendly staff, fast kitchen! Never disappointing when we go here!

Victoria Choi

YUM!!! We had the Sammie (with added egg), the Chub (with added fried chicken), the pork belly and waffle, and the Little Rob. Everyone liked what they ordered. The Chub was especially delicious and my friend devoured it quickly! The only complaint is the pork belly slice was a little too fatty of a portion, but I guess pork belly is usually pretty fatty anyway. The Rob was AMAZING. It was so simple yet so good! I think it was the pancakes that really push it over the edge from really good to AMAZING. The pancakes have a great texture, not too sweet, not too buttery, not too salty. It's a good mix of semi sweet but also savory since there is cheese and eggs in it. Overall great food, good service. Be willing to wait in line, it's worth it!!

F Ashoor

Food was amazing and so were the lovely staff.

Michael Pirak

Poor service, but good food.

Daniel Loo

Great spot for brunch! The foods great and filling, and the mimosas are served in large jars and are strong. We got the breakfast wrap, donuts, side of bacon, and breakfast chub. Everything was delicious (heavy, but delicious). The donuts were especially good and the potatoes stood out with tasty seasoning. It’s reasonably priced too. Only came to $50 for a brunch feast for 2. Service was also superb. Highly recommend.

Shailesh Kumar

Phenominal brunch especially their pancake fried chicken sandwich!!!! Biscuit with gravy is just average as the biscuit is just dry and the gravy wayy too think to keep the biscuit moist enough. Great service killer drinks. Get ready for wait times during the weekend but well worth it.

Min W D Patterson

Always supurb performance for Ubereats as a restaurant thats constantly packed with people enjoying the cusine in a great family atmosphere.

Deborah Munguia

Very nice little place , had lunch there with my sister

Jon Phillips

Consistently delicious breakfast. I have an annual appointment in Seattle, and this head been my stop six out of seven years. Their breakfast potatoes are well seasoned, and cooked just right. Never once have I been disappointed by my choice of the breakfast menu

Jamie Carrell

Delicious! Even the side salad was soooooo good. Cozy and welcoming. Loved the music choice .. that made it even more enjoyable.

Charles Whitmore Jr.

Goid food, good service. You can't miss eating here

James Eriotes

Very very good diner! Food was amazing and service was even better!! Will come back again for breakfast or brunch !!!

Tam Truong

Foods are delicious. Waffles taste like corn bread that kinda throws me off a little. Nice and clean. Great atmosphere.

Frances Sheriff

Is this just a minor mistake or is this what you call well done? I was excited to get a well done burger but it wasnt the well done I am use to I suppose...

Matt Klawiter

Excellent restaurant, if a little bit pricey. The tomato bisque was fantastic.

Barb Bellan

Quaint place good food and price

Sarah Davis Hurley

FOOD POISONING WARNING. Ate the biscuits and gravy. Within a few hours my stomach started to give me problems. Hadn't eaten anything prior or post eating here.

Sage Duffey

Great atmosphere. Servers were great with our large group. I was allowed to substitute avocado for the deconstructed corned beef hash

Carlos Beltre

Skillet is such an amazing restaurant, the service is amazing and the food incredible. I love the drink options, the Mimosa was delicious and the Spiked cold Brew was one of the best I've ever had the balance of Coffee to alcohol was great. I got the Chub with the fried chicken, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the bacon jam added a nice smoky sweetness to the sandwich. The house made tots were very well seasoned and had a very nice flavor. Will definitely be going back to Skillet for another delicious meal.

Paul Topping

I’m haven’t been here in about a year but the Cap Hill location just has a great vibe. This place never lets me down. The deconstructed corned beef hash has been upgraded and the portions are great. On top the bar area counter is a great place to grab eats and bartender is always friendly which can be a rare thing in Seattle.

Rob Fulwell

Next level diner breakfast! The kitchen absolutely nailed my 'Chub' with sunny side egg and taters. Delicious! Good service, too.

Adriana Olson

Fried chicken sandwich is delicious! Great vibe. Good service, good beer.

Pooja Arora

My husband says that after you eat at Skillet, you remember your life as pre skillet and post Skillet !!! The food is delicious. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was perfect. The soup sort of tasted of layers of tomato, cream , herbs, it was tangy and sweet. The bread used to make the grilled cheese was of the best quality. The potatoes on my husband's skillet were roasted very expertly, not overly done or burnt, perfectly salted, so simple but so delicious.

Jeremy Espinoza

This place was good, and their drinks were better. A great place to alleviate an accidental hangover.

Geist Macleod

The food was delicious and the service was great. We had our food in less than 15 minutes. I had the fried chicken sammy which is Fennel seed crusted chicken thigh, with pickled & charred jalapeño aioli, kale on potato bread. It was perfectly crispy! I devoured every bite and fries were perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend!

Satish Bhat

Consistently great food and drinks. A great selection of comfort food. The wait is a bit long but it's usually worth it. Make sure you take advantage of the coffee they keep outside while you wait (When it's chilly out).

Niti Gupta

Vegetarian Review: I went for brunch. There was a long wait but they do take reservations, so I would suggest if you know you are going to go here get the reservation. I had avocado breakfast burrito with a side of salad. It was best breakfast burrito I have ever had. The portion was not huge but felt good after eating burrito and salad. The service was fast and decent. If it is cold outside, then there is not much place to stand and wait for your table inside. The food is fresh. There are savory vegetarian options (burger - falafel, veggie; grilled cheese, chilaquiles, etc.) beyond that one and there are sweet options available in the menu for brunch, if you are interested. It is not expensive so definitely worth the money spent on the food.

Teresa T

Food is terrific. Always a line out the door. Whole menu is amazing, always have a hard time deciding what to order.

Cyril Hylton

The food was excellent. Nice atmosphere for dining

Edward Lee-Eng

Cozy place, good food

Melissa Ligtenberg

Always good. Always great service. Excellent meeting place and zero complaints.

Christopher Blake McArthur

Excellent food. Cool space.

Montgomery Standefer

My friend ordered "your way" and myself the "little rob."Prior to that a mimosa and a caramelized pineapple bellini. Your way is basically toast, eggs, and breakfast meat that you like. My friend said everything was cooked how she liked it and had no complaints. Mine was essentially a breakfast sandwich between 2 pancakes. I'm not usually a big pancake fan, but this was actually prettty damn good. I tried to switch to waffles and they won't do it. The potatoes were great too! Seriously no complaints for me either. Maybe have cholula available to customers is all I can think of!

Pete Veach-Williams

Gosh. A-ma-zing. The cinnamon roll, ok, I won't say anything about it... Try it. It will blow your mind. So fluffy, and not sickly-sweet at all. I guess I said something, ooops. The fried chicken and waffle was so tasty. I'm pretty sure it was dark meat, it definitely had a meaty taste. And the poutine wasn't like the Canadian version but I ate every little piece. I wish it had some chewy cheese curds, but they made their own version and it was tasty. Worth a visit on the weekend for brunch. Next time me and the husband are in Seattle I'm taking us again! Great spot. Sit outside and do some people watching

Jason Freebird

Delicious food, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, decent portions and options. You got to try it

Keith Molter

Very good food and service. Would recommend !

Kim DeLoach

Rotating mac n cheese Chub with added fried chicken Bloody Mary's and pineapple bellini Poutine fries with a sunny side egg Chicken n waffles

Amy Knox

Stopped in for dinner and we were amazed!! The service was stellar!!! The burger was awesome! The meatloaf was too. The chef let us try the chicken. Now we have to go back!! We took home a cinnamon roll.. can't wait to try the breakfast! So glad it's more than a food truck now!!

Neil Cullen

Good food attention service staff.

kandhar kurhade

A good brunch menu with some really nice veggie options. They are famous for their fried chicken I wouldn’t say its the best i had but its good. The vegetarian burger was really nice and I loved it. The tomato basil soup was delicious. This place takes reservations so plan ahead otherwise there is a long wait.

Barton Slade

Fantastic food, but a little bit pricey. Get ready for a food coma afterwards.

Krista Serianni

My go-to Seattle restaurant. Never disappointed.

Tom Driscoll

Rated "6 out of 5 stars" by the Better Bacon Bureau (but Google only goes to 5)

Fabian Kahn

Nice atmosphere. Great breakfast.

Anya Krivenko

The food is all greasy, huge, and gross. This must be a very specific taste type of thing, but my friends and I were not into it. So greasy I didn't feel good after, and I only had the fries and a piece of the giant, ultra sugary cinnamon roll (which didn't taste like much else, besides sugar and a little cinnamon) My poor friend got an actual dish (something with waffles and bacon) and he felt gross after eating it. The staff were nice. Even turned up the temp for us. Just this food can't really be called food.

Evan King

Great Sunday brunch place.

Stephen Kennard

My first visit and it was great. There was about a 40 minute wait, but the food was excellent. The Bloody Mary wasnt bad, but it wasnt great. I'll definitely be back!

Josh Mitarnowski

I went there to try the pork belly and waffles, they discontinued them like the week before I went. So I tried the serious toast.. It changed my life. INCREDIBLE! Love this place for brunch!

Jared Edwards

Skillet has typical brunch food, and if you have a reservation you get seated very quickly. I came here specifically for the cinnamon roll which was OUT OF THIS WORLD, but our main dishes were average. They do have an amazing drink deal for $16. You get 3 brunch cocktails which were great. Come for the cinnamon roll and stay for the booze.

Sami Zweier

Food was very good and the staff very nice. Enjoyable experience.

Michael Van Brunt

Amazing place service and food!!!!! Nick was a fantastic server! They gave us dessert on the house!!!!!

Melissa Tucker

Wonderful place for brunch on Saturdays. Yes, there is a wait of 30-45 minutes, but go grab a coffee they provide from Cafe Vita coffee, explore the neighborhood, and check back in. Food was phenomenal, and very tasty. Love the vibe they offer. Large booths provide comfort for you and your party. Will be going to their other locations to try other items on their menu. Great job!

Carlos Beltre

Skillet is such an amazing restaurant, the service is amazing and the food incredible. I love the drink options, the Mimosa was delicious and the Spiked cold Brew was one of the best I've ever had the balance of Coffee to alcohol was great. The house made tots were very well seasoned and had a very nice flavor. Will definitely be going back to Skillet for another delicious meal.

Ellen Hurst

THE BEST BURGERS EVER

Roshell Williams

Best breakfast in town!! And the portions OMG!!

Kris Moore

Worst experience ever. I get half way done with my food, take the cloth napkin and wipe my face clean, set it down to only realize the damn thing was completely covered in mold. The server kept saying "oh its not my fault, I had no idea, I'm not in charge of the napkins". Excuse after excuse after excuse. My friends and I will never eat here again. I hear they're opening spots in the airport, can only expect things to be worse in there.

unknown

We were there for our reservation on time. The waiter said he needs to get our table ready and that there are still people sitting at the table but it will be ready for us soon and he will tell me. We waited outside because it was very crowded inside. 20 minutes later, we still haven't heard from him so I went back inside and he didn't even recognize me. We were then seated very quickly. The food was great as well as the service once we were seated. But waiting 20 minutes even with a reservation and the need to make myself noticed was very unpleasant.

Steven Bonn

Everything was amazing here. All our food was delicious, the coffee was good, and the Bloody Mary my wife had was great. Portions were generous and fairly priced. Service was quick, especially considering how busy it was on a Saturday morning.

Ilyse Burke

It was just ok for me. The service was great but the food was just so-so.

Cary Whitehead

Had the chilaquiles - was alright but a little soggy, probably wouldnt recommended - showed up at a busy time, staff was friendly and a little swamped... Biscuits and gravy was tasty

Radu Cimpian

Great breakfast food. Busy.

wyfy .

Wonderful breakfast. Worth the wait (they offer complimentary coffee while you wait). Deconstructed corned beef hash was delicious, even better with additional avocado and a terrific chai latte with nondairy “milk” options. Service to match.

Nick Wendrych

Amazing brunch place, all of their food is top notch (and boozey brunch is on point), we don't live very close and yet we bring different people every couple weeks because it's that good.

Ryn Glsak

Don't tell ppl in a second and be 15 minutes. dude upfront was trash.

Julia S

This is a neat place, cool decor, nice staff. However, my group and I did not end up liking the food very much. I got the avocado breakfast burrito, others in my party got the chicken sandwich and the chicken and waffles. All of us wished we had eaten elsewhere. I love diner food so I was sad to dislike it here, but I'm sure there has to be something better on the menu we just didn't see.

Barry Storey

Popped in for brunch. Food was delicious, especially the doughnut holes. Only critique would be that the "slightly too loud" mumble rap blasting from the speakers was anxiety-inducing.

Eric Candell

We have been staying temporarily a couple blocks from Skillet and have gone by a couple times for a quick meal. It has been surprisingly non-busy, but the food has been tasty, the kids have been happy with the milkshakes and burgers, and for comfort food, it has been a good choice for us.

Shani Badnani

Cute spot for breakfast! Delicious food and very filling

Elizabeth Yung

Great coffee! I've ordered their pastries and have sat down to eat once. Freshly made food that taste so good. But the winner is definitely their coffee. They have parking in the back or you can park on the street.

Toby Willse

Awesome decor, great service, AMAZING food. If your in town definitely hit this place up early before the brunch rush

Terrell Harrington

The gf and I really look forward to coming here when we get the chance. All the food has an extra level of flavor that most generic places don't. The wait can be long, but it's normally worth it. Free coffee while you wait. Friendly staff willing to go the extra mile for you. Yes, please.

Ashley Kivett

It was absolutely amazing! The cook, i believe Stephen is his name.. Made me the best chicken i have tasted in Seattle! Perfectly cooked and no pink! Definitely recommend.

Queenie Calderon

Ambience is good, service is great and the food was delicious. Ordered the mini donuts and it came fresh and warm. Chix sandwich is super yummy. A go to when in Seatown.

Elizabeth Smith

Delicious mac n cheese

Kevin Smith

Fun diner. Good food

Leah Mullen

This restaurant was amazing such good food and great service when on a Sunday and it was a little busy but that's to be expected was still able to find parking I just love this area at love this restaurant

Catherine Wood

I ordered their corned beef hash. The beef was superbly braised, the root vegetables were toothsome, my eggs were poached perfectly. I was satisfied with what I had ordered and was happy to have boxed my leftover.

Christina Marshall

Food was Awesome, service good, parking horrible, weather THE BEST!

anna b

Absolutely delicious fresh food, farm to table. Great knowledgeable staff. Delicious desserts.

stacey portmore-davies

Very good farm to table, but the weekend wait is long. Hint, do breakfast for dinner. I went at 5:30 on a Saturday and there were plenty open tables.

Nicolas Peggy

Ok food. Friendly but very slow service.

Play Day

I came in and I'll order the grilled cheese it was small but good neither the less the bacon jam was really on point in the fried chicken thigh was very good also... Tomato soup basic..

Dan Randles

So good! Was in town for 4 days and had breakfast there twice!

Angelo Bekris

For all the good write ups this place has got, I was disappointed. I was looking forward to trying it for over a year! I was excited to try it but the service was careless and rude. Food was greasy and below average. Wont be going back.

Kimberly Green

Delicious food! Great service. My favorites are the salmon sandwich, basic burger, and the tomato bisque and but honestly you can't go wrong. Sometimes a wait on the weekends but usually pretty short.

Susan Knight

Awful service! Could not keep up with orders. We ended up walking out!

Michael Lam

Pricey American food, capitol hill diner setting. Very lively and friendly staff.

Ivory A

Great place to order fried chicken! Their burger is huge even though it’s a bit pricy. The buns were so buttery good. They also have bacon jam! It taste more like Asian pork floss with mayonnaise which I love! They have different locations with different food. This place is a must try if visiting Seattle!

Stephanie Milliette

Came here for a quick breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Loved the spicy breakfast potatoes and I had the daily scramble. I was also just finishing up Whole30 and I was able to find something on the menu that could accommodate, I will definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

Krystina Castleburning

Pretty good food and polite service. I love the windows and study here a lot

David Johnson

Delicious food, great service!

Shannon Sparks

One of my favorite places for brunch in Seattle! Expect to have to wait for a bit

Jake Mason

Dropped in on Tues. The staff was very helpful and observant. It has a good feel to it. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.

Natalie Simon

nice place to think about business. definitely worth a return visit. prices are decent.

Brian Woodland

This has to be one of the best diners around! The staff was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very vintage and gave it a really cool feel. We chose to sit on the patio which was great! Their were seven of us and we all loved our food! The chicken and waffles were really good!

Dorsa Lia

Great food. Takes 20-30 minutes to get a table which is worth it. We went there for brunch a year ago and again couple of days ago and quality is still amazing. It is my brunch place in town. Definitely recommend this place.

Cody Shaw

You can't go wrong here. It may seem a tiny bit more expensive than for typical Diner food but it's well worth it. I did the traditional Mac and cheese they have with bacon and also did the drink flight they have because they had so many good choices! Their house bloody Mary and both of the boozy coffee drinks they have are winners in my book. The more bubbly choices are good too but those would go better with brunch. Suffice to say, I'm definitely coming back. The staff was also super friendly all around. Bonus points for the throwback playlist of music they had going.

Jonathan Brown

Super long lines for weedend brunch. Go early or you'll have to wait. I went once to see what all the hype was about, and it was fine, but I wouldn't go back. Nothing special really and a bit overpriced.

April Lynn

Service, food, drinks, everything at this place is perfection. The only gripe might be trying to park, but there is a garage on the same street. It's worth it to pay to park and stuff your face full of delicious food.

gordon macmillan

So good. Breakfast casual diner with great food and service!

Deirdre McShane

I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten here. Their Farro burger is one of my favorite burgers! Yum!!!

Chris Shannon

Tasty, but hard to eat healthy. Many dishes are over done to the point where they're too indulgent and leave you feeling sluggish afterwards.

Tay b

Amazing food and bottomless coffee. I got great service and the breakfast burrito is WELL worth the price!!

Brian Webber

Great brunch menu but gets really busy. Plan on a 20-30 minute wait. They do provide compliment coffee for you while you wait though. The portions are deceptively large. I really enjoyed the deconstructed corned beef hash and the biscuits and gravy. Prepare to take a nap after either of those though.

Cyril Philip

Good spot for a quick weekday breakfast. Stopped in for some biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were a bit on the hard side and the gravy was a little watery— but overall good. The wait staff is super friendly and the service was lightning quick.

Kent Boston

Unique menu, amazing staff, nice diner atmosphere

Andrea Main

If you visit Seattle this place is a must!! Delicious & friendly atmosphere

Terri Valdez

There was quick and friendly service. Prices that are reasonable.

Chris Lewis

Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Recommend the fried chicken and Bloody Mary's for a heaty breakfast and a fun start to the morning. No wait on the weekend and excellent service. Definitely a Capitol Hill staple for locals and visitors alike.

Bobbi Mollenberg

I haven't been here in forever, since bacon jam craze! I revisited this weekend for brunch and my family is not foodies and picky, but tried the biscuits and sage gravy, and it was a hit at our table. We had the cinnamon roll and I'd suggest getting one as a share, it was delicious and fresh! Service was normal on hill service and was ok. Their brunch cocktail menu was on point!

Antonina Lovyn

I enjoy coming here every time!! The food is always great and very filling! Also they have big portions so I always end up bringing leftover home that I can enjoy later.

Mylisha Sexton

We came in a big group on a Sunday. They were accommodating, friendly, and relatively fast for such a situation. I had a portobello burger that now haunts my dreams because I want another one so bad. Good cocktails too.

Cyrus Sarkosh

The corned beef hash was great.

George Reublim

My food is always good. The service is always good too! I stop in about once a month before appointments.

Taryn E

Super yummy food and reasonable prices, definitely worth the wait

Kaesa

Favorite restraint by far. The fish and chips is dangerously good! Everyone enjoyed the food! The staff is wonderful. Thank you for the epic experience!

Alex Chole

Nice menu for brunch. The brunch's timings are also suitable. Apart from that, their taste is also very good. This place has won the title by my family of their often to visit place. It will be recommended by me to everyone who loves brunch.

Jenifer McIntosh

Fresh orange juice, fabulous food!

Ellis D

The hush puppies are delicious

Leslie Rios Cruz

Its good food but a tad bit more on the pricey side. They have an upscale vibe and the staff is really helpful and attentive.

Robert Lee

Not a fav! Deep fried or baked bacon is Greasy. Fancy jelly and individual servings of catchup and butter don’t make up for absent service or Noisy loud environment field with loud disco music early in the morning. Price like a five-star hotel, environment like a greasy spoon, service is basic like a Denny’s or IHOP. No need to return. Two eggs over medium bacon toast and hashbrowns $14.31. Way overpriced!!!!

Rebecca McGinn

The food here is amazing. They have an adult grilled cheese with fried chicken (I know) that's fabulous. Get the cinnamon roll and some mimosas.

Brendon Maitland

Good food. Helpful staff. Food was a little overcooked but still amazing.

Tannis Meng

Skillet Diner is a great breakfast spot in Capitol Hill. We came on a Saturday morning so of course there was a wait but it was worth it. I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and it was delicious. Sometimes these with these type of special pancakes they have a tendency be too sweet but these pancakes had were perfect. The staff here is friendly as well!

Sonya Garza

My favorite place for breakfast! I know certain places specialize in biscuits, but this place my favorite. Quick and friendly staff.

Hal Leonard

Sweet breakfast place. Great wait staff with just the right amount of interaction. Thanks for the great morning.

Henry Offiah

Service was perfect, but Food was just ok.

Jenn Chen

The food here was delicious! We got the Mac and Cheese topped with fried chicken, chopped salad with grilled chicken, and their cinnamon roll. That cream cheese frosting was the best!

Sophia Kotov

Very delicious. Classic brunch food with a Pacific Northwest twist. The menu has a variety of sweet and savory options. Because it’s so fantastic, expect a long wait. On the bright side, they serve free coffee to the folks standing in line (often in the cold) waiting to be seated.

Hearty, flavor-dense meals. Great brunch options. Ingredients are fresh and skillfully used to make some of my favorite breakfast hash, burgers, salads, and yes the poutine is non traditional but very good. Consider adding bacon jam to your dish. This is a great spot off the beaten path for happy hour and drinks after dinner. If you end up waiting in line for breakfast, there’s free coffee inside the door.

Got there right at opening on a Sunday morning to beat the rush. We had a stroller and baby with us which they kindly gave us a spot to park, probably wouldn't be able to do that later once they fill up. Food was tasty and fast. Loved the troll pic for coloring.

We wanted steak. They had steak on their web site. They used to serve steak. But no longer. We got to the restaurant only to discover that the steak was no longer on the menu. BUT our waiter handled it perfectly. He comped one glass of wine we had already ordered, apologized just the right amount and said he had called the operations manager to correct the problem. Good job. Next hamburger I get will be there.

One of my favorite breakfast places, usually not a long wait for 1 or 2 people. Amazing food, friendly staff.
