I can't recommend this bar. The waitstaff were fine, the food was fine, but the tap selection was criminal. They have 11 taps, 5 of them are IPAs. the rest were pale ales, Coors, Blue Moon, and Widmer Hefeweizen, which they plopped a lemon into without asking. To whoever is doing the buying for this bar, you should really consider another line of work. 11 taps should mean variety, not just more examples of the only beer style you happen to like.

Excellent happy hour food and deals. We came here while getting an oil change nearby and were not disappointed. They were out of the slider buns so we requested the meal on regular buns, cut up. Everything we had was fantastic. Outdoor seating was nice for a beautiful day. Customer service was on point too. Highly recommended.

Dated - An update since the owner responded to this. Let me clarify. I appreciate that you strive for consistency. However, much as we as a society ate casseroles for every meal, we have moved on from that. As should everybody move on from your oily and bland meals. If you want to be around for another 48 years, you're going to have to update your menu. Your food is not great.

Ordered food to go with the online ordering. The order took quite a bit longer than it stated it would, but the food looked good. I did make special request got a food allergy that they forgot, which I discovered when I got home, so that was a bummer for my meal. My husband said they were both delicious. I would try again. ***Update***7/6/19 Scott's staff read this review reached out to me to invite me back. I tried again and it was exceptional! The food was delicious and the service was prompt. Excellent experience.

Don't come here and waste your time with staff and management who are unprofessional. They do not know how to manage private events and won't take responsibility for their mistakes. They aren't even smart enough to call their customers by their right name. Plus, reading through the other reviews sounds like food here taste like cardboard and salads tastes like perfume.

This is the best salmon dinner value in Seattle. You can pay more elsewhere and it won't be any better. I've had their salmon dishes for years and never found a bone, always perfectly cooked. And they have lots of other great dishes for all tastes. This is a nice upscale yet casual restaurant for any occasion.

A good spot to hold large company events (my visit was for one) or a dinner for two. As the name implies the fate is standard restaurant fare - steaks, seafood, salads, desserts - but of a higher quality than you would get in a similar place. The place is on an arterial that also serves as the county line, and surrounded by a lot of big box retail, so there isn't much of a view, but the inside is spacious and open enough so that won't be a factor. I would advise getting there before 5:00 if possible as it does fill up quickly with the dinner.

Everything about this place is awesome. I had the spicy cajun chicken pasta and it was AMAZING! I asked for it a little less spicy and the waiter suggested that they add more cream in it which I was totally okay with, I like my pastas creamier anyway! The complimentary garlic bread was also amazing. The staff were all so nice and friendly. I would come more often if I lived closer!! Highly recommended.

Their French onion soup was good but the layer of cheese was too thick to get through easily (and cheese is my favorite food group!) Triple salad plate of pea, Asian chicken, and bleu cheese salads was excellent. Very busy at 1 PM on a Wednesday, parking lot was almost full, and the large open room was a little noisier than I like. Excellent, efficient service.

If you haven’t been here yet, you must drop in. The food is the best. The atmosphere is incredible. It’s perfect for a birthday dinner, business lunch or just to enjoy an awesome steak. They have a steak salad to die for. Their sliders are excellent too. We’ve been coming here over the years and never had a bad experience. My husband is a chef by trade so we tend to be extremely picky as far as who we will pay to cook for us and we’ve never had a regret here. It’s sort of loud so if someone in your party has a tough time hearing, ask for a corner or an outside table.

Order a beer or glass of wine, the cocktails are made week and not with any real care. I watched a old fashioned be made with with a messed up orange rind thrown in a glass, a maraschino cherry, a ice cube, and whiskey out of an unlabeled jug with the words “barrel aged” taped to the side.

So a friend of mine and I are going to a play. and after a long day of work we didn't know where we wanted to go for dinner. So I took a moment and searched online for the best restaurants in Edmonds Washington. I just did a quick scan of the menu knew immediately this is exactly the place I was looking for. Unsweetened tea and just a chunk on meat. You would have thought I was crazy too. Honestly fresh honest meals at a great cost. When you feed people correctly and give them a good time they will pay you without question. Thanks Scott's for keeping the world back on track. Feed people and pay them well and you get an amazing experience. Chef Aaron has an awesome menu! Book your next table at Scott's. Do it fast because otherwise you will have to wait for a pleasant evening just a little bit longer than the rest of us. _alandrake

I usually go here for happy hour drinks and snacks but i decided to try their brunch. The cocktail i had a burbon drink . Was actually pretty good . But this $20 plate of Dungeness crab and avocado Benedict is another story . First let me say it was edible . The egss were poached soft . Perfect . But you can tell the breakfast potatoes came prepackaged Not fresh . No flavor . The hollandaise isnt even the color hollandaise should be and was very salty. And for $20 the highlight of the meal and price the crab should have more than a tablespoon size portion. Dont waste money on this dish.

DON’T come here! I repeat DON’T come here unless you want horrible customer service. I’m from San Francisco and after hearing what kind of business they run. I don’t even wanna contribute to a restaurant that doesn’t care about people and is only money hungry. My cousin made an reservation for an event, for her son’s baptism a while back ago. Her family has been coming here for years. The coordinator told her that her event date was secure. Then they made a mistake and booked her event to another party without any hesitation and only tried to contact her once without a voicemail or any messages. The manager then made many excuses and was very unprofessional. He was unapologetic to the situation. I work in the restaurant business and I was mortified by the lack of customer service and how insulting they were to my cousin even if they were at fault. This would never happened in the restaurant I work at. We’re in the business of people something this place needs to take notes on. They told my cousin that they don’t need her business. Apparently you do because from the other reviews I read your food is mediocre & unmemorable and based on your ratings of 3.5 which is nothing to boast about, by the looks of it, you do need every business you can get but you won’t be getting it from us!

Delicious lunch today with my teen on a snow day. He had the Tomahawk Pork Chop and I ordered Halibut Cheeks. Perfect timings, food was hot, tasty, well prepared, generous portions. Sandy gave fantastic, personable, professional service. 5+ stars!

Good and friendly service. Their restaurant was full and had a wait, but you can go sit in the bar area (which has its own tables in a sectioned off area) without having to be seated by staff. The bar area (about 12 tables plus the bar itself) let's you order food right away, but you can't see the open kitchen very well from this section of the restaurant. Food came quickly, about 15 minutes, with a packed house. Quality was top notch, from the French dip, fish and chips, or turkey club, to the medium rare prime rib steak, it was all top notch and DELICIOUS! The waiter checked in several times for drink refills, general checkups, and asking if we wanted desert before bringing us the bill. Our leftovers were boxed for us and brought back to the table (thanks!), so now we even have lunch for tomorrow. Pricing for this more classy feeling location was very reasonable, with each meal costing under $20, not including the steak which was around $30. Very reasonable, very good, and very accommodating. I definitely recommend Scott's to anyone looking for a well rounded dining experience.

This was not a good dining experience. I would like to say first that our server was very friendly and did a good job. Other than that not so hot. When we ordered it took over 30 minutes for our food to get to our table. I got the French Dip and it was nothing to write home about. It was just plain. It was definitely not worth the $18 that they charged for it. Over all, all of the prices seemed to be high for what you were getting. We ordered the Halibut and it was $33. The burgers were in the $15 to $18 range and they are nothing special. All in all, this is place that is over priced for no reason and the food is just doesn't stack up.

The food here has always been very consistently fantastic no matter what is ordered. The halibut cheeks are the most tender and flavorful fish dish I have ever eaten. I'd put those cheeks up against the best copper river salmon any day. And their legendary, in-house key lime pie is unmatched anywhere and might change your life if you let it.

First time in. Despite the location surrounded by parking lots and busy roads, Scott's is a pleasant oasis, with greenery out the windows and a quiet atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly. Vegan for exactly one year. They had no vegan choices, so I (after 1 year) looked at the menu and picked what looked delicious. The food was great, they were very busy but were able to give great service. I believe there were 12 of us, so amazed they did such a good job. If you are a strict vegan, I suggest staying home. For everyone else, you won't be disappointed I would like to thank Christopher from Scott's Bar & Grill for the reply. Since I read online the establishment was vegan friendly, I asked my server if she could help me find something I could eat. She suggested I look for a salad, or maybe something with rice. Next time I will ask them to ask the chef to make something for me. Great tip. Thank you

So, I'm editing my review! I went back to Scott's, with another friend. He's all nostalgic, about the place. It seems he, and his wife, went there on a date, when they were high school sweethearts. Well anyway, I had another run, at Scott's. This time the food was again excellent. The service was outstanding. The experience was much improved, over the last time. Perhaps, I rushed to judgment, the first time. I was so pleased, if be willing to come again. Be sure to try some appetizers. The coconut prawns were excellent.

A pretty good casual dinner spot. We have been going to Scott’s for years and it’s always a nice place to eat. The restaurant is clean and it is nice that the kitchen is open to the dining room. This is a busy restaurant so if you can, make reservations in advance. As far as the food goes it is very tasteful, however, don’t expect to find any Jenny Craig options here! (Everything seems pretty indulgent including the bread from the start.) Overall this is a great little spot and the staff is very friendly.

This is a very busy place, though I don't know why. We came here for dinner. The ambiance is fine as is the service. Just fine, not great. We ordered the appetizer trio, the prime rib and the surf and turf. The appetizer trio was pretty decent, though the crab artichoke dip was s little salty. Both the prime rib and the ribeye were undercooked and pretty flavorless. This is a place that serves steaks, yet when I asked for Worcestershire sauce for my ribeye our server said she wasn't sure if they had it. Also the steak knives were so dull that it made it difficult to cut the steaks, even the prime rib. We even tried using the regular table knife to cut the steaks and it seemed to work better than the steak knives. The prices are high, especially when you consider the average at best quality of the food. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

That being said for the price of things, there are far superior places for similar prices if you're willing to travel to Seattle proper. The food was decent (I had the salmon) but nothing memorable. It's okay I haven't been here before today. I think everything is overpriced and the portion sizes are modest. Which is why I say this. Also the food taste is so so. The waiter convinced me to try one of their specialty lunch items. So I tried the $28.95 baby back Bbq. The coleslaw was very tasty. The ribs tender but the sauce lacked substance and flavor. The French fries weren't crisp. The soup & salad my lunch partner select were so small for full size she inquired that they were full size. The desserts at $8.95 each should be $4 or $5 each in all fairness. I scanned the drink menu but stuck with water. Truth be told, I've no plans to eat here again

I've always loved Scott's. We've gone here my whole life! It has a nice update with new colors and wood, but still feels homey. My Dad had the Fish Stew, spicy but delicious. And I had the meat loaf and it was awesome! Brussel sprouts cooked to perfection and delicious mashed potatoes as well. We will always come back!

Dinner about 8:30pm. Not crowded. Asked for tarter with my husband's meal. Dressing on the side for my fish tacos. Fish tacos arrived drenched in dressing and no tartar for my husband. Asked for tarter ~ 15 minutes later no tarter. Finally gave up. Very disappointed.

What happened to one of my favorite restaurants? Last week we ordered a couple rounds of drinks for 3 of us. The normally to die for chicken wings were fatty and soggy, the $17 crab dip was fishy smelling and too salty, the calamari was cooked well but sauce was put over the top and it too was soggy. The best part was the pea salad- fresh and tasty. We left with a $115 bill feeling underwhelmed. So sad, after 30 years not sure we will be back

I’ve eaten here a number of time with family and during group celebrations. The food is always wonderful and the staff members have a great helpful attitude. Everything that I’ve tried on the menu is very tasty, I’ve never had an off-taste dish. My favorite that has been ordered with EVERY VISIT…. “The Broadway Pea Salad”..this is a must have item. Another excellent dish (my 2nd Favorite)…” Scott's Classic Meatloaf”. I always look forward to my next visit to Scott’s Bar & Grill.

Extremely good food. A large group of people were well taken care of with friendly staff and great food a little pricey but worth it. I had the halibut and was really happy with the way it was cooked perfectly, came out hot and really tasty. Went for a birthday group and will go back again on our own.Update: Had a huge group of people for family members birthday. Had the halibut cheeks again and if possible le were Better! Love this place.

Attended a private party. There were too few serving spoons and tongs. Guests had to awkwardly use their silverware or fingers to fill their plates, or borrow spoons from other trays, causing an unwanted mixing of sauces. Water and coffee ran out during the hour of dining, and were not refilled until around the time staff were cleaning up as we neared the end time of the reservation. Cool furniture though!

Fine dining experience. Hands down the best French Onion Soup and Pea Salad in the greater Seattle region. Friendly high end service and prices that match. Part of the Restaurants Unlimited group of restaurants which includes Palamino, Palisades, and many others.

Been here for my birthday dinner, brunch many times with my family and nieces baptism reception earlier this year. We were supposed to have my grandson’s baptism reception here also. But turns out making a reservation with their event coordinator means nothing if they’re just going to disregard the booking and go with someone else. This is the first time we experienced poor customer service and unfortunately it is an unforgivable one, because of this will never be going here again. I will be making the same recommendation to our extended family and friends to do the same.

Worst MEAL EVER! Service was AWFUL! Primev rib ordered was too have been medium well this was raw! Brussel sprouts were charcoal BURNT! NOT once did our waitress ask was everything ok! She was worried about her other tables.. HELL WE HAD TO ASK FOR OUR CHECK! The only reason I didn't cause a scene is because my teenage son was with my husband and I. WOR ST EXPERIENCE EVER! WAIST OF $114?

We had a very disappointing diner at Scott's on Saturday. We arrived to be seated directly by their "party room" This lead to a gust of cold air blowing on us every minute throughout our meal. The restaurant was far from busy, and they could have gave us a better table, or redesigned access to their party room so waiters and guest are not constantly disturbing guests in the dining room. The wait service was slow, our waiter made excuses for the kitchen staff to explain the why it was taking so long for us to get our prime rib. Once the food was served the disappointment continued. The salads were generic, tasteless without any quality to them. The prime rib was not cooked to order, and was flavorless. Mine was nearly rare, with no taste at all! The brussel spots were decent, but the mashed potatoes had a funky taste to them. Not what I was expecting from an establishment claiming to be a "steakhouse with fine dining". The raspberry cheesecake was good, but not enough so to redeem the terrible experience we sat through for the 90+ minutes! We asked for dessert to go, of course it was brought to the table on plates, not in a box! It is just that kind of place.

WOW !!!!! What a great dinner..husband got rigatoni bolognese I had the fish and chips probably the best fish and chips I have ever had my husband was obsessed with his bolognese, this was our 17 yr anniversary dinner and I'm pretty sure we will be back shortly server was awesome also but I'm sorry to have forgotten her name .... Thank You Scott's for an AWESOME anniversary dinner...

I've never done a review before but felt the need to let people know of our experience here. So first of all, I just want to say our waiter by the name of Bernie was the sweetest waiter we have ever had! She was very helpful about describing the different foods on the menu to us. We aren't from the area, so the food was very different from what we are used to. We ending up not being very fond of our plates that we had gotten. Next thing we know, the chef executive by the name of Andrew came and sat with us and let us know how sorry he was that we weren't happy with our orders. He is originally from the same area as us, and has his own menu for foods we would most likely like better! He took a big chunk off our paycheck and bought us dessert (chocolate indulgance cake) and it was amazing! We will definitely be back to try something new and have some more cake!! :)
