I regularly eat at the Rice Bar on Maryland Ave SW (inside Capital Gallery). Today I tried this new location in Lenfant Plaza the food court. The offerings are fabulous, as is the taste. My issue is the entire bowl (and I got udon noodles/tofu/miso broth/ and veggies was COLD. It’s not that way at the other location. I suggest they heat their warmers up a bit on the selections that are supposed to be warm.

Fast and friendly service. From ordering to paying, less than 5 minutes. The portion size is great for the price - more than filling for lunch! The tofu and veggies were all quite flavorful, but my favorite were the mushrooms.

It's 3 Rice Bars with in walking distance. I would rate this one at 3.5 - nice, service is trying, but he'll no feelings that you're customer. Ones at Capitol Plaza wins.On my own scale - you need good food with smile - Capitol Plaza 800, you support business - L'Ephant plaza, you just get past your evening - Rice Bar at 3thd Street. YONV
