As you know, we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Gastropub.
Hip, trendy and cool without the anticipated pretense. Bartenders are fun, attentive and professional. Try the Crispy Pig Face Nuggets - slow braised pork cheek that's lightly fried and absolutely delicious. A little pricey but worth it.
Quinn's was delicious, fast, and had very friendly and attentive service. We're definitely going back next time we're looking for a place to eat and drink!
Amazing doesn't do this place justice. So many choices, so many great choices. We couldn't stop with the verbal mmms, , oohing and awwws. Waiter was great, atmosphere equally as great. Dont miss your chance to stop in you will not regret it.
The burgers and drinks are really good here!
Went to this place as the only vegetarian in a group. They had one option for vegetarians (had egg), but the staff were willing to make other options in a vegetarian style if possible. The food was really tasty and very much appreciated by everybody in the group. The waiter was super helpful. He literally explained the qualities of different beers (upon asking the details) so that we could get a sense of how each would taste. The food and beer quality was really good, and everyone enjoyed the meal completely.
delicious food more of the unique dish, gamey variety. great beverage choices as well. can get busy on weekend evenings, but worth the wait.
Great beer selection, European style, nice food nibbles.
Food was pretty damn good! Steak was on point! Gnocchi a little dry though. Cocktails were good also.
Wild boar sloppy joe sandwich is great
Let me preface this by saying I LOVE salt and salty food. We ordered the poutine fries with foie gras, the bone marrow, and the Quinn Burger. Portions were pretty good but damn, this was some of the saltiest food Ive ever had in a restaurant. I think if they took it easy on that I could have liked it. Maybe a one time thing or maybe that's just how it is. Definitely bummed out considering a pre-tip price of $55 for one entree and a couple appetizers. I guess that's Seattle pricing for you. Service wasn't too friendly either. Maybe I'm not a likeable patron. Tldr; I don't see what the fuss is about...
Excellent food! I was a little weary about paying $13 for a salad but I was not disappointed. It was one of the best salads I've ever had and definitely filled me up. I tried my friend's muscles and they were top notch. Great location, awesome menu and great dining environment. I would definitely recommend stopping here before going out in Capital Hill!
Great pub food and nice beer selection Happy hour is worth it!
Their beef tartare is spot on! And you don't want to leave without having a 'missed opportunity'.
Delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere. More upscale and nicer than most pubs. French theme menu. Great experience here.
I had the cassoulet. Delicious and filling, just the thing for the cold winter night.
This place is amazing. In-house butchering and aging of meats. I had the wild boar sloppy joe with a duck egg. It was amazing. Flavor profile was that if an elevated sloppy joe. So good. The Missed Opportunity fun cocktail had a prefect lemon gin taste. There beer selection was great. Had the Evil Twin Biscotti Stout. So good as an after dinner drink. Coco coffee taste that was slightly sweet. I would eat here everyday if the could.
It is a beautiful place, they give you a better service and the food I like the most, accompanied by a different kind of drink to everyone's taste
Pappardelle was fantastic! Also, very decent draft beer selection, with a healthy nod to Belgians.
Slow service. Took 20 min to get my sprite. At first I thought that they went to the sprite factory to get my drink. Horrible experience. And I didnt even know who the main servier was. Cannot understand how can this kind of store survived in capitol hill. Go to 8oz burger, ppl who smart enough to read this deserve having a nice dinning time.
Was on the hill looking for cocktail bar that could craft me a tequila drink with egg whites. Popped in as I was walking by just to ask the host if she knew if their bartenders had any drinks like what I was looking for. Milly was hosting and was super sweet, described a drink they had, and sold me on it. Helpful, informative, and Grade A hospitality from her. Thank you to Chloe for crafting the drink for me!
Great spot to go for an old fashion.
Service was good! We stopped here from out of town as a group in a bachelorette party. The other customers were friendly! A couple of ladies bought a round of shots which was very thoughtful! Clean place and a decent selection of beer and wine.
Yup. I really like this place. Great, small pub decor, rotating taps, simple and delicious menu and delightful staff.
Amazing small plates. Excellent cocktails.
Loved the beer collection and great service.
Good selection of beer and gourmet pub style food. If you're in the area I'd check it out.
Original bar treats, diverse craft beer options, excellent service, and in the heart of the fun in Capital Hill.
Food was really good. Do try the bone marrow, the Scotch eggs and that slaw under was to die for. Great wine selection. I thought the sauce in the brisket was a bit over reduced. But I will def be back.
In addition to have a beautiful ambience, the food at Quinn's is always fantastic. From simple salads to their various exotic meat dishes, Quinn's has something for everyone. It can get busy on the weekends if you're dining with more than 1 person.
Had a reservation for six and a seventh friend should up last minute for a surprise party. The staff was incredibly rude and not accommodating. We could essentially leave or split the party up in two tables. Completely understand fire code but no need to be condescending. The service went down hill from there--no check in to see how the food was or for additional drinks. When the bill came, it was uncomfortable to ask for the bill to be split. The server came back with the separate checks and no pen. When we asked for a pen, we got a large sigh and the response, "this is my only pen." I don't recommend taking a group of people here. Used to be my favorite place to go to but will think twice in the future.
Great nerdy beer selection, friendly service with thoughtful suggestions, tasty and original gourmet pub food. The sloppy joe and poutine were both delicious.
Great food, great beer and excellent service
Well put together space. Went in with my date for a few drinks and some apps. Wasn't disappointed in the least. We sat at the bar it was busy even so it wasn't too loud which made conversation fairly easy without having to talk loudly.. will be on the list of return venues on the hill..
A fine food and casual gastropub. Dont miss the scotch egg and brandade. Very little will disappoint and the beer selection is great.
The food we ordered was heavy but incredibly delicious. Very knowledgeable server on the beer selection.
The wild boar sloppy joes will haunt my dreams, and in a good way. Way too loud in this space but worth it for those dishes.
Fantastic food, drinks, setting and location. We had a great time here. Neighborhood is delightful.
amazing Steak tartare
The food and cocktails alone are great here, but the atmosphere and location make this the perfect spot for a date or night out. I'll be back soon!
Always a great place for a drink and scotch eggs
Food here is amazing. Get the bone marrow!!! Old fashioned cocktail was huge!
Excellent food and a great beer selection. We tried some bar snacks and all of them were good: cod fritters, duck terrine and pretzel. The ambiance is wonderful, warm and wooden, and they play great music at a perfect volume. I'll be back to try the main courses.
The staff was very accommodating, even on a busy weekend, they make AMAZING cocktails. I didn't really eat much but I did have the Scotch Egg and I loved it.
The atmosphere is great. Young and hip meets class and fine dining. Luis V. was an amazing server. Went above and beyond for an amazing experience!
Two words: foie gras! Yummy cocktails.
Went for the delta 1700 pop up. Was a fun time and cool set up. Unfortunately, the bartender decided to change my tip. What should have been a 30$ tab is now $36. Not a huge difference, but if they're doing this to everyone....
Favorite spot is at the bar! Friendly bartenders, and you are right in all the action. Beware they have things like Marrow bones and limited food options overall.
Server tried to upsell at every opportunity. Repeatedly asked us if we were going to buy any drinks. Left a dessert menu on our table when we were ready for the bill and left for about ten minutes before asking us if we weren't getting dessert. Overall, the taste of the food made up for the pushiness of the server and the time we spent waiting (over 90 minutes for everything) That being said, I probably won't be returning.
I like Quinn’s. I’ve come here a lot over the years and it’s been a dependable place; solid gastro-pub food and good atmosphere. Last night...not so good. Burger was uninspired and raw to the point of inedible, and fries that were below average. 4 people, 2 starters for the group, a burger and 2 drinks each...and a $175 bill. Disappointing. I may go back, but only based on previous visits. If my only data point was last night, I’d never return. Don’t know if the management has changed but I hope someone there reads this because Quinn’s you can do better. Please.
As an enthusiast of thoughtful menus... Quinn's Gastropub is right up there with places like Stateside. A lot of their dishes are very process-oriented (take a gander at their "Cobb" salad), and are priced accordingly, however the combination of food, drink and ambiance are top notch! Great for all millennial occasions.
The Bartender Jane was great. Sampled great Washington state beers! My first night in Seattle was awesome!
why don't i come here more often??? interesting, rotating cocktails that add a new angle to the classics, and correspondingly great food (though usually i just come for the drinks :))
Yes! Oh yes! Love it!
The perfect gastro-pub. Make it in for happy hour and get a tasty deal!
Slow service and they forgot half of our order. Food was good but overpriced
The place smells like a really Irish Pub! Food menu is limited but service is superb!
Stopped in for a few apps and some beers. Great beer selection and the bone marrow and scotch eggs are excellent.
Really good service.. If you are looking for a quiet and kinda classy place to drink in the Capitol Hill area around Unicorn, Quinn's is a great option.
Delicious foie gras French fries.
Good food good service good location
The flavor of the burger was perfect!
The food and cocktails at Quinn's are always stellar, though there is often a wait during the most popular times during the week.
The drinks were great, and the bone marrow, excellent. Definitely worth the drive into the city.
Have been here multiple times, always great food and lots of Belgian beers
Meh. Pork chop 2/3 uncooked fat. Something odd about the service both times I've been here. Food not good enough to deal with it...lots of better options in the neighborhood.
Visited with my friends around Christmas for dinner. Food is generally good, lamb is well cooked, sheppard pie is pretty traditional. Service is good. Pretty busy during peak hour.
Hemingway & Quinn’s Old fashioned, grilled bread and veal / quest and try the burger!
Great food. We had the burger, half roasted chicken and tuna. So good cooked to perfection. The pear cheeecake was awesome. Buy the way the beer selection was exceptional. our Columbian waiter was knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful. Only downside is parking
Amazing, quality drinks. Excellent food...and make sure to sit at the bar and ask foe Katie; she is the gem of this establishment.
Wild boar sloppy Joe with fried duck egg... just try it and be pleasantly surprised
Great service
The food here was simply AMAZING! I have to say that so far this is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Seattle at its price point. In my top 3 for sure. The staff there are super friendly and helpful as well. Must try, especially if you're visiting.
This place is awesome. Great high end Irish pub I would say, they also have a nice Scotch selection. I will definitely be back! They just need a Scotch flight so it will be easier to sample their awesome scotch selection.
This is a restaurant but the name makes it sound like an Irish bar. The scotch egg starter was great. There was also a $35 set menu which I had and thoroughly enjoyed. A good choice of wine and excellent service from Chad.
Absolutely delicious eclectic menu with outstanding selection of beer, wine and cocktails
Came in to kill time before a show at Neumos. Was pleasantly surprised by the menu choices. The staff was focused and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items. Best bang for your buck on Pike St. For sure. The cheese plate was killer and the drink selection is well refined. Will definitely be stopping back in next time I'm in the area.
Everything meat, pretty much. I'm not sure they're 100% committed to the idea of their cuisine anymore as some of what we had on our recent visit failed to wow (where we'd been promised wow). Different strokes &c I know, but in the end Quinn's was slightly less than expected. Try it anyway. You'll probably love it.
Came here on a Sunday night for a solo dinner at the bar. No trouble getting seated. The spacing is cozy, but there's an upstairs and downstairs setting that allows for ample seating. The bar is expansive, with a similarly expansive draft beer, bottled beer, wine, and cocktail list. The bartenders have been prompt, friendly, and willing to offer suggestions. Food is on point - had and strongly suggested burger, which is a well seasoned, cooked to order, melt in your mouth beef patty topped with strips of perfectly cooked bacon, a pronounced white cheddar, and mayonnaise. My only complaint was something on the burger to make the texture more interesting. The fries were basic, and served with ketchup, but perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I would recommend this location for visitors.
Damn good burgers here, go with some good beer on tap.
Great food, love it
Good food, great drinks
Drinks are great. A little pricey. Awesome atmosphere. Trendy crowd.
Good food huge beer selection and super knowledgeable staff!!!
Kind of over priced for the quality, but the drinks were good. Also one of the odd places you can get bone marrow, which was tasty but could have been slow roasted longer. Was kind of cold on the inside. Also the $16 burger had not good fries. Get it together Quinns. Service was great though!
Great place for a cocktail and a burger. I would call this the fancy pub; you can get a beer or wine if you'd like as well as some more delicate dinner fair.
Great service, and the bone marrow was delicious and is a must. I ordered the fish and chips, and the batter was crispy without being overwhelming. I will be visiting again.
Been here many times. Best dishes: burger, bone marrow, steak tartare, duck carbonara (?), quinn's old fashioned Food quality/Consistency/Price: This is truly a gastropub; it's fancy bar food. It's always been exceptionally good, but I feel that it's really gone downhill in the last year or so. In the past, I would have given them 4 stars. Unfortunately, the price has gone uphill as well, which ultimately doesn't leave much of a reason to come out here. They also ran out of the duck carbonara at ~8PM on a Friday night, which was pretty disappointing. Wait/Atmosphere/Service/Location: It can get busy as any place in the heart of Capitol HIll can, and parking is pretty bad. Love the atmosphere though, reasonably quiet and not too dark. They pretty much "meet expectations" for service for what they're charging.
Food and service is always great! It's a seasonal menu that changes nearly every week or 2.
Delicious meat, stellar local tap list and great service. Good people watching out the windows. Get the steak tartare.
A really sweet spot, thoughtful, tasteful, and delicious. A little pricey, but if you bring a couple friends who are willing to share the variety will add to the value. It can feel a little hip, but its been a while since you've worn that Pendleton flannel anyways.
Good food and drinks, nice comfortable place
Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious whiskey cocktails.
Popped in a for a quick cocktail. There are better places for pommes frites, but a good spot to post up in the heart of Capitol Hill.
Excellent food
Overpriced food - $18 burger? Good beer selection. Overall, just average.
Bartender deserves an award for service!
Honestly some of my favorite food in cap hill for the price. Menu always has interesting things and the wait staff is cool.
Wait staff is very friendly and helped recommend beers to a traveler such as myself, who isn’t familiar with local beers in the area. The scotch egg and bone marrow is fantastic. I’m really glad I stopped by. People watching is excellent if you’re seated by the front windows.
The food here is always excellent, as are the cocktails. Service is a bit spotty, but not awful. Leave enough time for a leisurely meal.
Great bar to hang out in
Excellent food, service, and drinks. It is a bit pricey but worth it if you have the money to spend.
Love this gastropub. Decent whisky selection and food is so delicious. Salt Cod Fritters my favorite for sure! Bone Marrow was on the menu once and was nice and fatty although lacking in some complimentary flavors. Roast chicken very tender. Lots of wood and metal and brick. Warm atmosphere, friendly bartenders.
First time visiting. Great food and fantastic service. We had the bone marrow as a starter and it was more than enough to share for the table. The ratio of chips to fish was way off, but that's not really a complaint. I had a candied ginger drink and it was quite strong. I was very impressed with pretty much everything.
Following a piece of advice, I went to Quinn's Pub for dinner, and I highly recommend it. The place is nice with friendly people, and the music is not loud. The beer is nice and they even have draft Guinness and Chimay !! Not that it really matters for me since I live in Europe, but if you like trappist beer and live in Seattle, then go! The burger was perfect and the fries homemade.
Everything cooked in duck fat.
Amazing cocktails, great food, friendly staff
Great atmosphere, service, and food. Burger was fantastic, and their fries are amazing. Located in a fun part of Cap Hill. Definitely try this spot!
Mouth watering. RICH. Flavorful. Pork Cheeks. Quinn's has a cool atmosphere that is both trendy and comfortable. It is crowded with cool people who want a great classic meal with a fancy-ful twist! Bar food, only fancier!
Food was good. The portions we're just right. The staff is lovely. The place is a bit loud. Typical crowd gathered a bit on the pronounced hipster side.
Cool ambiance, the frites and fois was delicious! Risotto was too sweet and one note unfortunately but overall nice time.
I'm going back through places I've been and reviewing some, and this popped up. I stopped by Quinn's Pub a couple years ago while on a business trip. I didn't have long in the area, so I looked for a place to get some food and a nice drink before I left. Thankfully I found here. It has been a few years and I still remember the born marrow and scotch egg I got. They were both by far the best I had ever eaten. The drinks were expertly done as well, but the food was absolutely phenomenal.
Wow, just wow. Had a private event here and the staff, food and especially drinks were amazing. Definitely put this on your must visit list when in Seattle.
It's a minor life goal of mine to try all the"best" burgers in Seattle, a never-ending quest that's taken me to some outstanding restaurants restaurants the city. Add Quinn's to that list! As a caveat, I got the Quinn's Burger, not the off-menu behemoth that features an egg and wild boar as accoutrements. The flavor of the burger is carried by the aioli and bacon jam combination - the meat is great quality, but very lightly seasoned - and the white cheddar really pulled it all together. I'm personally not a huge fan of the potato roll bun, but it didn't detract too much for me. Their cocktails are very well prepared, and my wife also really enjoyed the fish and chips she ordered. All in all, another great stop on my burger quest, and I'd recommend it to anyone on their own journey to burger fulfillment.
Great service and amazing food. Big thanks
New management, new staff, new kitchen and not the Quinn's it used to be. Sad.
I've just had one of the best culinary experiences of my life trying their "Foie Gras". Kudos to that chef!
Get charcuterie. As long as Miles is the chef, you won't be disappointed.
Happy hour was incorrect: both menu and website state that beers are half priced but waiter claimed that this is only until 5. A small hot dog for 5 dollars is also enormously overpriced. Not recommended..
High quality food and drinks, kind clientele, and friendly staff. However, prices are quite high. Off-menu drinks will run you an extra $2-4, seemingly regardless of complexity or ingredients. Overall though, a great place to relax with friends, assuming you can afford it!
Wild boar sloppy Joe was delicious.
Pricey but good stuff
Excellent appetizers, staff doesn't bother you while eating/drinking, which is nice.
Nice atmosphere for drinks, great bar menu. Tasty small bites or full dinner plates, I good options for splitting. We had the burger and cauliflower gratin, delish. Altho food feels a bit pricey for what you get.
Outstanding food. Illustrated specials menu. Single malt whisky in at least one dessert, which you must taste to believe.
Friendly, great music and delicious drinks!
Great food, good selection of local craft beers, excellent cocktails and very friendly down to earth staff.
TL;DR: go to Quinn's and have great food in a lovely setting, and you will be well taken care of by the staff. More: The staff are amazing (as always); fish and chips is some of the best I've had in Seattle; the wonderful wild boar sloppy joe is not just a novelty, especially with a duck egg on top; and the once best-in-the-world burger is now 'merely excellent' (smaller/thinner burger, less bacon, and a potato bun instead of brioche). I think it's still a top five burger, but has fallen behind Katsu burger and possibly Zig Zag. Dessert too is fantastic: ice cream that tastes/feels like it was made from creme fraiche or straight heavy cream, and super (overly, for some) rich cheesecake.
Fantastic food, awesome service, and a great atmosphere. Been here twice, both times I've been blown away by the food.
Food is good, some hidden gems on wine list. Service is European style (slowwwww)
One of the nicer places on Capitol Hill - good menu, though I wish there were a few more veggie things. I had a mixed greens salad and french fries as a late night snack and both were quite impressive despite their simplicity. My other suggestion would be to turn the music volume down a bit - it's already super loud in the surrounding clubs (chair/table were vibrating) and this is the type of place where you'd like to have a conversation.
The owner is great and he comes around to make sure people are enjoying there meals. Love the high class style of food put pub style. Never thought I'd have head cheese until having their pig face nuggets!
Staff treated me like family
Look, the food is quite good here. But $18 for a burger!? That burger better be so good I never need to eat another. Here, it was good but not $18 good. Nice atmosphere and waitstaff. Won't be coming back anytime soon.
Very cool spot for food and drinks, with the perfect location in Capitol Hill. The staff are really nice
Drinks here are fantastic
I've still yet to find a better, more consistently cooked burger in Seattle. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, nice beer selection.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'RE GOING IN A GROUP. I understand it's hard to accommodate a large group, but if it's not something you can do, please don't try. I came here for my 22nd birthday and the service was very spotty and wasn't welcoming. The worst part was that at the end of the night, after the waiter got our cards/money, he laid all of the receipts down on one side of the table, threw a bunch of pens on top of them, and said "get out." I know none of my friends deserved that and it honestly put a damper on the entire night. I wish I knew the reason for this rude encounter but either way it was unacceptable. My friends came a long way to see me and I wish I never chose Quinn's.
The ultra burger is understated!
Great selection of trappist beer. Very helpful bartender. The Quinn's burger is pretty good, but I wouldn't get the fries again during happy hour. I was disappointed to hear they didn't do the ultra burger anymore
The good tensions the bomb but the service has become more inattentive
Always delightful. Amazing service from the bartender; great happy hour, perfect cocktails. As a GF pesco-vegetarian, I only have half a dozen menu options, but I can count on every one of those options being perfectly delicious.
My friend who dined with me got food poisoning.
Great place. I have been twice and it seems to be loud and busy all the time(not a bad thing). So not ideal for a romantic dinner. The food and service is on point. To the management/ownership, please bring back the oxtail sliders. The best sliders I have ever had, Period!
Nice little spot with great service. Good drink menu with a little bit of everything, and a good-looking food menu that could use a few improvements. I was very excited about the octopus pasta dish, but the octopus was overcooked and rubbery, and the pasta was a little too dense. The clams were delicious and generously portioned, however the baguette that was served with them would have been better on the side so as to still serve to soak up the broth, but wouldn't be totally soggy by the time you get to it.
Best Pub Food In Seattle!!!!
Nice atmosphere. Good starters. Good cocktails. And BEER! If I lived there I'd go regularly
Excellent food and service
Great burgers and friendly staff
A great date spot. Quinn's has some adventurous dishes to surely impress your friends and family visiting from out of town.
Changed ownership. Not the same quality or level of service
We just stumbled into Quinn's serendipitously and we have definitely found a new favorite. The cocktails were on point and we started with the foie gras then moved onto the halibut and Denver steak special (pictured). Service was perfect. 5/7, will be back!
Good but pricey
The food and service were great. The scotch egg and the burger were delicious.
Came in when it was nearly empty, waiter asked if we had a reservation... We did not, which seemed to annoy him. We were seated and waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. Plenty of eye contact was made with server and bartender, but no one seemed to interested in serving. Finally we left and went across the street for Mexican food... Honestly, a $17 order of bone marrow wasn't sounding that good to any of us anyway.
Quinn's has the disadvantage of being overpriced and faux-classy, while not standing out in any way. It's where the graduated frat boy with a newly exciting income might take his undergrad date to impress her, maybe before hitting something trendy at neumo's across the street. There is better food, better beer, more exotic cocktails, and generally classier, cheaper stuff within a block or two in any direction. But when you want to do better than cramming into the dive bars and are nervous about the hushed reserve of the gourmet restaurants, you won't go far wrong with Quinn's. If all their prices were 50-60% of what they ask now, I would give them another star.
This gastropub is amazing. We loved the brandade(?), the foie gras poutine, the bacon brussel sprouts, and our drinks. Ask for recommendations. Tons of local beers on tap as well as a great selection from out of state. It's dimly lit and a little loud, so think group of close friends versus first date.
We got the pork shank, some grilled asparagus, and a papperdelle pasta dish. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable & the dishes really hit the spot. No complaints here.
