REVIEWS OF Marination Ma Kai IN Washington

Eric Larsen

The food was amazing. The staff was crazy friendly. And the location was perfect- right on the water! We even saw a seal! Love love love this place- and the alcohol options were fun too!

Lindsay Ramos

Great food, love the fusion idea. A blast of flavor in every bite. A little overpriced, but with the views and location, it's to be expected. The main dining area was being rented out, giving the place a frat party feel upon walking in. We had to walk outside and to the back patio on the other side of the building to enjoy our food. I think on a different night it would have been rated higher.

Bret Gold

Great little shop with various Hawaiian Thai. Limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating if the sun is out.

Erik Dahlke

One of the best meals I had in Seattle. The Pork Katsu sandwich was delicious and there's a great view.

Merilyn ross

Decent food. Nice outdoor seating area.

Heidi Anderson

Amazing food as always! The line was a little long but it's always worth the wait

John Macomber

Great Hawaiin food with a lovely view of the Seattle skyline on the water from West Seattle.

Olga A

Nice views, but overpriced and not good food... I didn't feel well after eating there. Will never come back.

Brynn Snyder

GOOGLE I WORK HERE STOP ASKING ME HOW IT IS IT'S DELICIOUS OKAY

Tom Soyars

Nice little place. The view is outstanding. The menu was just OK in my opinion. I'd probably go back just for the atmosphere and the view.

Clinton Cobb

This place was so relaxed, I was not rushed to go out the door, and the food was delicious. I had the katsu sandwich, and it was perfect! And that's not the best part. The view of the city at night is so perfect, it's a view you would see on the cover of a magazine.

Lu-Hiep Phan

The wait wasn't desirable, but the food was delicious. Kimchi Fried Rice with Spicy Pork is ultra flavorful. Not as spicy as remember, but still has enough heat to satisfy this spice head.

Zoey Schlemper

Cool spot with a great view of the city and unique street vendor style Hawaiian Korean food. Chill prices. I got the Kim chi fried rice and while I wasn't a fan, everyone else in my group loved their entree!

Stephanie Tannin

Oh my gosh what's not to love?! The location was awesome, the food was delicious and the drinks were great. The wait was a bit long on a Friday night but so worth it!

Anthony Galczak

Great view. Fish and chips were good. The drinks were the highlight though. Not too sweet, but refreshing.

Reeldeal 90

Wow. If you can get here without a wait you’ll be lucky. Definitely a must have when in West Seattle!

G Roberts

Love the food and flavors and my favorite place since moving to Seattle years ago. Only downfall is there can be a serious line at times, but sometimes they wait is worth it.

Rose Bh

Great atmosphere and even better food. Sliders are my go to and I enjoy it every time

Brietta Easterlin

I love this place! Beautiful view and great food! I'd like it if they had more vegan options like a tofu musubi, which is why I'm giving only 3 stars..

Garrett Nakamoto

This is a nice spot in West Seattle located right on Alki Beach — the views of the city are hard to beat from both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. It often gets crowded during the nice weather months and especially when the water taxi comes in, so be prepared for long lines and long wait times. You can order ahead through the web site and avoid the lines, so this is a good option if you know what time you’ll be headed over. The Hawaiian/Korean-style tacos (beef kalbi, spicy pork, and fish tacos) and kimchi fried rice with added meat are our favorites, but all menu items are a little on the pricey side. There is also a bar located inside with a window serving the outside seating area. On our recent visit, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant and in the restroom so I hope they are able to take care of this issue soon.

Priya Ball

Great food with a great view. They get crazy busy and crowded in the evenings.

Green Monkey

I have a friend that loves to eat here when she comes in from out of town. the West Seattle location is great on a sunny day. You can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the view. The food is decent. The the side of fries is enough to share with a number of people. the food is good but it's not Gourmet so as long as you're not looking for fine dining and you're just looking for a heavy calorie but decent place then it works.

Tim Carpita

Fast service from friendly people.

First Last

Whoever is driving their truck just made several turns with no blinkers and blew a red light before turning into the Admiral Safeway.

AnnaMaria Pape

Alcohol prices a bit high but the view is so nice!

Karen Bell

We took the water taxi over to Seacrest Dock and had lunch here. The food is a delicious blend of Hawaiian and Korean cuisine. Definitely a casual diner but delicious food. Try the Aloha fries. The fish and chips were delicious, too! I would recommend this restaurant

kahanu kahoonei

Fun space, cute little cocktail bar to go with the simple yet funky food options. Wonderful views.

Eric Larsen

The food was amazing. The staff was crazy friendly. And the location was perfect- right on the water! We even saw a seal! Love love love this place- and the alcohol options were fun too!

jefflp65

Cool casual place on the water. Trended more hawian than Korean. Food was very good. We went at night, would be a better destination on a sunny day when the outside areas are available and the view can be better enjoyed.

Hayden Wade

Fantastic food! Pulled pork sliders and tacos are great! Right near the ferry doc!

Holly Amoako

This is an incredible spot to enjoy some delicious food and a lovely view of Seattle and the Sound. We had tacos and a pulled pork sandwich and some delicious Pride pops...maybe the best popsicle we have ever had. Highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat and taking in the beach and other fun things to do around Alki Beach.

Ryan Muse

Food was delicious, but they didn't get our order right twice. They were slammed at the time.

Dora Morales

Came to visit my sister and she bought us to Marination Ma Kai loved it!!! But, my granddaughter loved it more. She doesn't want to go back to Texas. She especially loved the Spam sliders. I personally loved the fries.

Sumit Mishra

Good ambience. Decent food. Fast service.

Courtney Lew

It's the location. Food's pretty good, but the site is what draws us there.

Shishir Mondal

Avoid fish and chips there. The french fries are blakish brown and bitter in taste. As if fried twice. Confirmed with the cashier -- that's how they cook.

Craig Ready

I had the spicy pork tacos and they were amazing!!! I will return here for sure. Great atmosphere, clean, great scenery.

Ginnie Joubert

We had a broken buzzer so not only was our food cold but they had to remake it. We are grateful that they offered to do so, just made us even more annoyed since the line was already long. The sliders were really delicious. Didnt care too much for the coleslaw by itself but on the food it was good. Very nice viewing area at the dock to see Seattle from afar. This won't be a "we have to go back" if we are ever in town again but the food is a little different and pretty good. At least try it out!

Ami Janel Haaseth-Massey

A fabulous spot to order and sit. GREAT food, simple and extremely flavorful, colorful:)

R. Reiser

Great food and drinks but the staff need to work on their turn around time for the drinks. Also, please fix the umbrellas out on the patio to make sure they don't swivel and twist in the breeze. My eating partner and I had to hold the pole on the umbrella to keep it from swiveling around during our dinner--not the most optimum way to eat. The tightening bolt underneath did not budge so we couldn't fix it that way.

Olivia Nixon Garrison

Really fun experience. The line can take forever so just be patient. The food and views are worth it. The spam slider is so so so yummy.

David Goetzka

Great food. Great view. Not your typical sandwich and fries place

Nikki B

Had snow cones they were great.

Brian LaCourse

This place can get busy, and for good reason—they have it all. Start with great food, pair that with an incredible view and the buzz of Alki on a Sunny day, and you have a real bucket list item. Grab a beer or a refreshing cocktail from the bar too. I like the Little Kayak with rum, coconut, and ginger beer. If you’re there before 2pm try the Portuguese sausage breakfast slider, so good!

Edwardo Acosta

Loved the tacos! I tried the kalbi beef, chicken, and spicy pork and was impressed with all 3. Spicy pork was definitely my favorite and ordered another. The combination of marinade and sauce was a great balance of sweet, spicy, and salty. It pairs well with dark beer as well. We had to wait in a long line, but it moved quickly. I would also recommend shaved ice for dessert.

Maya Gordon

Been coming here for years on our trips to Seattle and have loved it every time. As we transitioned in the last year to eating Vegetarian/Vegan we were worried we wouldn’t get to enjoy the amazing offerings here, but were pleasantly surprised to find lots of veggie options on the menu! The Kimchi Fried rice with tofu was AMAZING. And as always you have to get a shaved ice.

Jacob Robbins

Let me start with the view, on a sunny somewhat clear day like it was yesterday Marination has one of the better views in the entire city, for a completely reasonable price. Now for the more important part, the food. If I could distill Marination down to one word in relation to its food it would be Yum! I ended up getting two dishes, two spam sandwiches, and a spicy pork kimchi fried rice. Both were exactly what I was hoping they would be. Spam Sandwiches- 5/5: As someone who has both enjoyed and loathed Spam dishes I've had in the past I was cautiously excited on trying the Spam Sandwich, as soon as I took a bite I was no longer cautious about it. Spam was very flavorful, perfectly cooked, and I love Hawaiian rolls. Spicy Pork Kimchi Fried Rice- 5/5: Had a nice little kick, spicy pork was delicious, and the fried rice was actually fried. One of my favorite places in Seattle.

Peter Fernandez

Super cool neighborhood place on West Seattle with a spectacular view of the Seattle skyline and the Port of Seattle. It's an order at the counter and hope for a table kind of place. Plenty of tables outside of the weather is cooperating, or you don't care. Ordered the spam slider and kimchee fried rice. Both were excellent.

Robert Smith

it's close to the water taxi it's nice but they do run out of thing before 430pm, Paso use to do the same thing. but said you come back, if they keep running out before they close at 9pm, then why would I come. that day was Portuguese musbi, I forgot the other day

spencer klein

Best place to take someone who's never been to Seattle

Katie Ringland

Love their food! Great flavors and service. Was disappointed at the size of the $3.50 fish taco. Ordered 2 and had to go order something else to feel satisfied.

Kris Rose

I went for lunch with a group of colleagues. Our group chose a variety of menu items. Everything we ordered looked great. My plate lunch reminded me happily of Kauai. Service was quick and efficient. Portions were hearty, fresh, and hot. They also had great music (that day, a perfect blend of 80s music) and at a volume that could easily permit conversation. The outside seating was comfortable and had great views of the sound and skyline. Also the layout of the outside seating could easily accommodate a walker or someone using a cane. There was tables for both large and small groups. Will definitely go again!

Diana Chi

This is the first building you see when getting off the water taxi to West Seattle. The view is great and the food is pretty good. I ordered the kalua pork slider and mac salad.

Riz Quraishi

Fantastic view and even better food! Between 2 of us, had 2 chicken tacos, 2 pork sliders, and an order of the Loco Moco. All 3 dishes were disgustingly different and delicious in their own rite. All of the flavors complemented each other as well as texture. Honestly dont know what I'd pick if I could only have one dish. Vibe: Low key and sat outside with a great view of DT seattle. Very crowded but managed to snag a primo spot to enjoy our meal. Delicious beverages, good company, and great food....cant ask for more.

Virendra Gulati

Nice view of Seattle downtown across beach and Pacific.Good food. Great service.

Blake Beers

Delicious food! Great location. Walk up counter with inside and outside tables. Prepare to wait as it's always busy.

Austin Lawhorn

One of our favorite spots on Alki! Fantastic food and drinks, with beautiful views of downtown to boot. I can't not get the Kimchi Fried Rice, it's too good.

Brooke Honnen

Amazing food, Amazing staff

Benj Shasha

Beautiful location on a summer day overlooking Seattle. The tacos and taco salad are great. I was pleased with the fish and chips but would opt for a taco next time. They offer a variety of fruit juice as well that complement the meal well

Danielle Kelley

The restaurant is always clean and their services are awesome. The restaurant is awesome. Thank you.

David Pierce

Newly opening early for breakfast for Water Taxi commuters. Great place to grab a beer, cocktail, or snack before going home. And staying for a bite isn't a bad idea either. Never been disappointed.

Marie Jan Atienza

Rip-off. I could have cooked a better meal. Expensive for the quality I've gotten

Hannah Colwell

The Kimchi Fried Rice is the bomb and the patio has an amazing view. The line can get pretty long on a nice day, but it moves pretty quickly. Good vegetarian options. The patio is not dog friendly, but there are picnic tables outside the patio where you can enjoy a meal with your furry friend.

Raul Silva

Simple and very tasty food. Worthy of a try.

Aaron Farance

This spot is great, the drinks are fun and the menu is tasty. It isn't a huge menu but it has enough and I wouldn't call it fast food but I would call it quick and on the comfort food side of the spectrum.

Megan Sherman

This place can get busy in the Summer time, partially because it’s located right at the water taxi drop off in west Seattle. However it’s location also boasts the best views of the city and is right on the water. Staff is friendly and service quick once you order. Patio is nice on warmer days. Their food is yummy Asian-Hawaiian fusion. Fish tacos are my favorite!

Jessica Disman

Food and drinks are great. View is incredible. Nice spot.

Morice Martinez

Located right off the water taxi exit coming from Seattle, a good place to take a break and get some good food. They have a bar in the back with great tasting drinks, but my favorite thing they have is the shaved ice. Flavors are fresh and not just a bunch of juice. Also tried their spam musibi which was a nice bite on the way back. Stop here every time I get off the water taxi.

Hannah Lee

Cute fast casual place right off the water taxi dock. There was a line when I went but moved really quickly but the drinks line could take a while. We tried the fish and chips, tacos, sliders and Mac and cheese! For the Mac and cheese you can omit the spam if you’re not into that. There is also outdoor seating and it’s perfect to have lunch on the water! Recommend for a bite or for drinks!

Shelby Nicole

Long line but worth the wait! Order food at the bar with a drink to get in faster.

Heuristic ALgorithm

Decent, but over priced for the amount of food you get. You have to order more than one item to leave here full, spending at least $20 (if your lucky). I got the kimchi quesadilla. It's good but tiny. Definitely not a nine dollar quesadilla. Maybe $6. And forget about using the bathroom or washing your hands here. There's always a line at the ONE bathroom they have despite high business volume.

Amanda Howden

Had a great meal here with my family! The fish tacos were great and my kids loved the fish and chips! The best part about this place though are the lovely staff that work here. My family read the ferry schedule wrong and were left in West Seattle without a way to get back to our Air BnB in central Seattle. The staff volunteered to call us an UBER, but not only that, one of the staff gave us his extra booster seat for my daughter and the lovely Brynn paid for our UBER!!!! Their hospitality turned a bad evening into a much better one. Thanks for showing us the true spirit of Seattle!

Jewell Mortis

The line outside was kind of long, but there was no wait at the bar. The food was delicious and drinks strong. Great place!

Tyler Convery

Food is incredible. Really great location with a dynamic restaurant layout. Great with friends and great by yourself. Love it all the time.

Jen Hsu

Beautiful waterfront and view of Seattle. The fish tacos was fresh and flavorful but I wish it was bigger. The locomoco was ok.

Breana

Amazing stop if you’re in the Alki beach area. It’s right off of the water taxi with indoor/outdoor seating (with a view!). I recommend getting the kimchi fried rice or fish and chips (classic) with the boozie slushee they have on tap! This is a great place to go solo or with a group.

Carl Truong

This place is super popular and its also right by the dock for a few ferries / water taxis that take you across the bay. Be prepared to wait in line for a little while. The tacos are very good, but small, I had 4 tacos to feel adequately full. I would say the best part of this establishment is the view of downtown Seattle and the freshness of their food. All in all, its definitely a tourist destination, and I would recommend checking it out as a tourist. However, if you're looking for a cheap place to eat, it can actually add up quickly. My tab ended up being over $20 for 4 small tacos and a couple beers.

Jonathan Orrala

Kimchi Fried Rice with Kalbi Beef will put you in a coma shortly after, but hey there is a beach right out in front to take a nap on. Also, get the musubi because you know you always need a snack after!

Josh Woodburn

Great food, drinks, views. Nicest people around, period.

Amy G

I moved away from Seattle several years ago and I have missed this food so much! I recently came back for a visit and it was as good as I remember. My favorites are the sexy tofu tacos and the kimchi fried rice. You MUST go and eat at the Alki location or the Capitol Hill spot...you will fall in love as well.

Brett Pontarelli

Great place, just off the ferry, with a really nice view. Food is good and they have a variety of beers and drinks. If you don't like cilantro (tastes like soap to me) remember to ask if it can and for them to leave it off.

Jae Chang

Great location with a view of the Seattle skyline. Didn't realize that there was a nice patio in the back. Tried their shaved ice with Coconut ice cream and it was pretty good. A good selection of Hawaiian style dishes and friendly staff.

Don R Campbell

Very popular and when you take your first bite you'll know why. We landed in Seattle, dropped bags in hotel the grabbed the passenger ferry directly over to West Seattle. At the foot of the dock, upon arrival we found Marination. Very casual, indoor and outdoor seating with a great view of downtown Seattle. The food looks casual, but the flavours are anything but casual. Well layered, nicely combined. (With some Hawaiian influences). Kimchii rice had a nice kick to it, and the street tacos for $3 ea had no lack of 'fillings." Wine, beer and cider available. Nice for sitting in the sun and just chilling over good food. 2:30pm was the perfect time to arrive. No lineups, lots of seats. By 4pm, it was really filling up. Lots of locals, very few tourists. I guess we now know that there is a reason that it's famous.

Samuel Chow

This place is lit. Very popular. Tacos were really good. Fries were crunchy, we got one of their sauces with the fries and added a lot of flavour and tastiness. Wish they gave more sauce though sliders were tasty as well. The meat in taco and sliders couldve been a bit more moist and saucier. Otherwise great place. The view is phenomenal.

Julie Green

This place is the absolute best!!! The pork cutlet sandwich, I forget the name of it, is a must-have. Every time I come to Seattle, I come right from the airport to here. And before I leave, I eat here and get a pork cutlet sandwich to go. Amazing views at this location, easy parking, and fabulous food and staff. The downtown location was my first discovery. I saw Marination had tons Google reviews and they were all positive. Only problem was, I could never seem to get there before they closed at 8:00 PM. Finally, I made it before 8 p.m. and it was so good that I ended up coming back the next three days in a row. I wish I could remember the guy behind the counter's name who makes the sandwiches. He was very friendly and picked up on my Boston accent pretty quickly. He was always so welcoming and he makes the absolute best sandwiches and Korean and fish tacos in all of Seattle!!! I miss him and this place!

Bruce Haws

Great fish and chips! Wonderful view of Seattle. Can be reached by Water Taxi. Fun day, try the shaved ice..

Beverley Simonton

The sexy tofu tacos and kimchee friend rice were AMAZING!!!

Jose Barbosa

So good and delicious. Great outdoor area. Next to the commuter boat to downtown. Excellent views. Place to be during the summer.

Geni Venable

This place is one of my favorite happy hour spots. My tried and true method is to go to the bar and order food and drinks from there as the main line can be overwhelming. The food is great. Since it's walk up and order style restaurant, the service is not really something to worry about, but I've always found the staff to be nice. Get the tacos, they're delicious! It's a fun activity to take the water taxi from downtown Seattle to West Seattle and hit this place up -- it's literally right next to the water taxi dock.

SANG MI Kim

This is a Japanese Hawaiian Korean Mexican place. Tacos, sliders and Kimchi fried rice are delicious. Didn’t like Musubi though. Highly recommend

Cathy Rizo

This place has a beautiful view and amazingly delicious and cheap food. Perfect place to bring friends visiting from out of town. Id recommend the macaroni salad and quesadilla.

Travis Jeremiah

Great summer hangout place. At least before the crowds arrive. Then avoid it. Merely 1 restroom.

Andrew Smith

I love Marination. Good food! This one has great views of the city being right next to the ferry dock. It can get quite cramped in the fall and winter with limited inside seating, but in the summer has a expansive sunny patio.

Mikk Kaschko

Very unique selection of delicious dishes. Also, their shave ice will satisfy your craving without having to fly to Hawaii! During any normal time of day they have a 15-20 minute wait but food is served quickly after you order so it's not bad.

Drea Tranzformerz

I didnt like the mac salad but they have happy hour and a great view and a clean spot

Thomas Smith

Awesome food and great service!

leonnights19

Great spot overlooking the water in West Seattle. Pork tonkatsu sandwich was very tasty. Would definitely recommend if your in the area!

Mark Hughes

Love the outside patio on a decent Seattle day. Their take on fusion regulars like fish tacos and fish and chips is different and really good!

Timothy Slazinik

Best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Panko Breading was SO light and crispy. Cannot recommend enough. The view is everything too

Toni Page

A destination in and of itself. If you're lucky you'll arrive just as the musubi are ready for sale. Perfect cocktails and one of the best views of the Seattle skyline.

Ford Tuff

Hawaiian food shack over in West Seattle that serves up wonderful food. Definitely try the tacos and grab a few of the Hawaiian fruit drinks they offer.

Daniela Bailey

Great casual food options. I liked their fish and chips and the drinks are good too. Super quick service and very good view of the city skyline. I want to try their guava-yogurt frozen bars!!!

Ryan Poole

Great fusion food with beautiful views of the downtown Seattle from west Seattle. Recommend taking the ferry over from downtown since it's right where the ferry ports.

Micky Kim

This was a pretty good place to eat because the view is amazing of the city. I would say the food is good for the value but not amazing. I think it falls in line with Korean food. I would go back another time but the wait combined with the value might push it a little bit down the list for me!

Joel Haley

They had some of the best tacos I have had anywhere in the USA.

Stacey Brown

Drinks taste good but not sure on the pour. Small portions for the price but the view makes up for it. No parking.

Rachael W

Spam masubi and spam sliders are a tasty and cheap option. Delicious food options with real good drinks and some of the best views in West Seattle..

Grace Bechle

Fun place right next to the West Seattle water taxi stop that serves Korean Hawaiian fusion with a Mexican twist. Think kimchi quesadilla and spam sushi. Friendly staff and lots of outdoor seating. Happy hour menu until 6pm.

so yeon Pak

Take the water taxi to this casual brick-and-mortar. Order a couple misubi, kalbi tacos along side of a really good beer or boozy shaved ice and enjoy the panoramic skyline.

Joseph Choi

Lines are always long, but he food is always worth it. The killer view also makes it so worth it! Definitely recommend this place if you're headed to Alki Beach or in the area!

TJ Houck

Great spam nori. The fish tacos were not good at all. The quality of the spam nori was well worth the wait though. I had all 3 other tacos and I would recommend those over the fish. The sauce with the fish is not good.

Soroush Yousefisahi

Downing some luscious Korean-Hawaiian style tacos right next to the bay with the skyline view? For sure! Expect the sauce to be slightly sweet without any heat.

Tracy Zerr

Great food, unique menu. Beautiful views of the city.

Riccardo Trinca

The shave ices are nice for after kayaking!!

ben uzimakie

Great fast food and heavy poor drinks

Ly Vu

The service is good, the restaurant is clean and nice. I just don't like their foods, it's not bad, just not my taste

zaldyimannuel

Got popcicle and shaved ice.. they were good for hot summer!

Em Bell

Love me some pizzahut stuffed crust and pasta

Matt Calhoun

Food was very tasty and the view was spectacular. Not a ton of seating inside but lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. I had the sando sandwich and my wife had the fish and chips. Both are recommended and about $12 each. Nunya sauce goes good with the fries. Also this place is right at the water taxi dock for Alki.

fumei lin

A short water taxi ride from the Seattle waterfront. Very resort like atmosphere on a sunny day! Kimchi pork quesadilla is my favorite.

liz

Come before the crowds but worth the wait! Spam musube, kimchi fried rice, coconut shave ice all DELISH!

Jeff James

Reliability righteous Island/Asian/Mexi fusion food and a solid bar with local beer and cocktails provides a wonderful view of downtown from a mellow and welcoming waterfront pier. Great for views day and night. Access to the walk-on water taxi(ferry) from the same dock. You're playing tourguide wrong if you're not stopping here with visitors (& without, natch).

Paul Heise

The food I ordered was very tasty but lacking in quantity. I ordered 2 fish tacos $3.50 each and got what was the equivalent of 1-2 ounces total worth of fish. My friend ordered the same thing 20-mins later and got 2- ounces per taco. Was still hungry (obviously) so ordered a spicy pork taco. Buzzer went off, went to pick it up only to be told they made a mistake... Stood by for another 5 minutes and received a very nice portion of some very tasty pork. Wish I would have grabbed pictures of how ridiculous the ratio was.

He was very friendly and picked up on my Boston accent pretty quickly. He was always so welcoming and he makes the absolute best sandwiches and Korean and fish tacos in all of Seattle!!! I miss him and this place!

Chris Huchel

The food was great. Service was okay. They forgot part of our order.

Karl Johnson

Pretty good food, fabulous location. liked the Kalbi beef tacos, the basket of fries was too big for one person.

Pacific Rock Northwest

Delicious meal and somewhat a medium to large item size. Nice view while eating especially when outside. The downside is if it is cold outside and the option is to dine inside or take out, well there isn't much space inside the restaurant, It does get packed pretty easily on colder seasons. The restaurant has tiny Bar section too so thats a plus!!

Armand Vasquez

Always love coming here when we go to Seattle. The parking is scarce especially in the summer time. The lines can get long really quick but the service is pretty fast. The menu is limited but all items are very tasty and reasonably priced. The bar has a decent selection of drinks. The patio seating is great this time of year to be able to see the Seattle skyline across the water. The water taxi stops right here so if on the Seattle waterfront side it's easy to get to.

Heath Van Singel

Always a long line here when the weathers nice but it’s usually worth the wait. Kimchi fried rice is real good.

Diana Pierce

Two words... Katsu Burger!! So yummy!

Harold Garcia

Great please. I am not a fish lover but the fry fish it was delicious. Also you need to try the ice cream.

John Edwards

A bit pricey, but you do get nice portions and that is nothing better than having a little shave ice for dessert. Love the view. I am quite the fan of the kalua pig sliders, tofu tacos, and the fish and chips. I took a star away because too often I felt I was in some pretentious scene. Since I had my 8 year old kid there, I got the stink eye from the table full of hipsters drinking after work trying to be cool. And not just on one occasion. Maybe they will drink too much and make some babies so they can get the stink eye back....

Shane Evans

One of my favorite places to visit in Seattle. Excellent food at a reasonable price with even better views. A must visit.

Naldo Garcia

Tried all the tacos and it was well worth it. Sometimes the line is long. Food comes out quick.

Nicholas Sacco

Completely amazing. The loco moco was delicious, and the cocktails were outstanding. I want to go back, but I'm leaving Seattle tomorrow.

Evelyn Sandra

I knew this place from my husband and instantly fell in love with this hawaiian-korean fusion! Recommend coming here in the summer as it is by the Alki Beach :)

Chelsea Gibson

Wow! The food and the view are competing for the top spot here. Vegetarian options are delicious. Very busy! But for obvious reasons.

Haleh Nekoorad Long

This place has great food and amazing views. Nice cocktails. And it's right by the water taxi so epithet eat before or after you get on the taxi.

Tim Martino

Good pork sliders and ginger chicken tacos. The fries were perfectly crisp and fresh. Water taxi from Seattle was a fun lunch trip.

Imran Abid

The kimchi fired Rice with kalbi beef was amazing. The fish tacos were just okay.

Karli Kruse

Super cool place right on the water with nice views of downtown Seattle. The line was a little long when we got there but it moved rather fast! We ordered the pork cutlet sandwich and the tacos (fish, beef, & pork) and it was all really good! Would recommend the beef or pork tacos- they stood out the most. I wanted to order the loaded fries as I had seen a lot of pictures of them in the reviews but unfortunately they weren’t selling them until after Labor Day. They have a nice bar there also where you can order beer and mixed drinks! Loved the vibe and the views! Would definitely go back!

Rose Muller

Ray thought the fries were among the best he had ever had!

Charles Beck

Great stop off the water taxi. Good eats, a bit of a wait though.

Nancy Liu

Enjoyed the spam sliders. Has a great view of the Seattle skyline. As a bonus, time your visit around sunset — food for your eyes as you eat food for your tummy, then ride the water taxi back to Downtown Seattle after dark to get a beautiful view of the sparkling city lights and ferris wheel at night.

Mandy Martin

Awesome food right on the water and at the dock for the West Seattle Water Taxi. I love the Kalua pork taco salad! SO GOOD. Also recommend the lychee margarita. The shave ice is good, though personally I like it a little fluffier. All in all, an excellent spot with indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy some delicious eats and (fingers crossed) nice weather.

Kalbi beef tacos were very tasty but the portion size is very small for the price. Each taco was $3, you would easily eat 4 or 5.

Martin Pagel

Outdoor seating, self serve, great food...

Josh Jackson

Great food and an amazing view of downtown Seattle that you don't normally experience.

Great food, quick service and a view that can't be beat. The spam sliders remain one of my favorite foods in Seattle. The beer garden looks out over the sound at downtown Seattle. Today was a long lunch from my office downtown. The water taxi let's you out on their doorstep. A great, if long, lunch break destination.

Kayla Castro

Food was delicious. Wish the patio had space heaters though. Would have made it way more comfy to sit outside.

Jake Martinez

Perfect location (amazing view), great drinks, outdoor space, and the food is Hawaiian fusion comfort. Loco Moco is amazing, and sliders you can't go wrong. Nunya sauce is fire flames.

Laura Bensona

Amazing views of the Seattle skyline. Oh the food was reasonably priced. We had fish and chicken tacos and a burger with fried egg and fish/chips. The shaved ice was tempting, I dropped off the family and they stood in line while I drove about 10 minutes down the road to find parking along the road. Parking is limited and for short times. It is the same place the water taxi runs to Seattle and a dock for fishing. You can also rent kayaks, paddleboards, etc close by. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor picnic tables.

Sal Hernandez

Great location to seat outside and enjoy views of downtown Seattle. Decent food selection and prices

Bonnie Campbell

This is a little tiny place but has plenty of outdoor seating too. The food is really good - combination of Asian and Hawaian with great flavor. The drinks are really good too. You cannot go wrong ordering anything here. It's all good.

Roy Kowalski

Food was good and tasty, and despite a long line up, it went reasonably fast. Lovely views of downtown Seattle

Abraham Augustt

The was excellent, it's a must do when you visit West Seattle.

There's a reason many make the pilgrimage across the bay to West Seattle for Marination's food. The Hawaiian fusion is awesome with a ton of unique choices like tacos, nachos, fries complete with an egg on top, and salads. Everything is bursting with flavor and the portions make sure no one hits the ferry hungry. There is even a pretty good beer list at the bar inside. Don't miss the outside patio which is right on the water and has great vibes and views of downtown Seattle.

Heather DelaTorre

Great food and great views. I always love eating here.

Chris Williams

The loco Moco was a very small portion relative to what I usually get in Hawaii and it was just ok. The aloha fries were good and better sized. The highlight was the Hawaiian shaved ice with coconut ice cream.

Sandra Huddleson

I love Hawaiian food here best
