REVIEWS OF Manolin IN Washington

Wow. Some of the best food I've tasted in my life. Well worth the high sticker price. Great service too. A memorable experience, I will definitely be back soon!

Ian Gorton

Bright space, bright food. South American influenced seafood. Weirdest mussels I've ever had. They were tasty though. Very enjoyable dinner.

Landon Lee

Absolutely love this place. Got an off the street recommendation to try it and got some directions. Pork ribs so good that you could cut it with a spoon. Excellent use of spices that accentuate flavor and don't "just make it spicy". The drinks were solid and everything was fresh and diligently applied. My new go to eatery/drinkery for Seattle.

Nathan Vorwerk

This is the best restaurant in Seattle. If you’re lucky enough to score some of their choice swag the owner might even pick up your tab at the hardware store. Thanks Joe!

Thomas Pierce

This was pretty good! Loved the black rice and squid as well as the rockfish ceviche. I would avoid the pork ribs, they just were a bit weak and didn't have a lot of meat on them. Not super tender either. Also the endive salad was fantastic.finished with the horchata cake, which was very tasty. A little pricy for what you get, bit nice for a bit of a treat, I think!

Amber Skidmore

Went here with a group of friends for dinner. The wait can be long since they don't do reservations, but they have a nice outdoor area with plenty of seating where they serve the bar menu. The entrees are meant to be shared. For a group of 3 we had 3 plates, but we should have ordered a 4th. We all enjoyed every plate. I especially liked the squid. Service was remarkably quick. Seating is both inside at small tables and extends outside to a covered patio with a fire pit. Tables vary between normal height and bar-top height.

C Jac

Our waitress wasn't that friendly and kind of snobby and unattentive. The food was good and different but not exceptional. Place was very loud when busy.

iam Vishal

Ambience, food, drinks, service everything was really amazing. It's a small place, but has unique warmth to it. Perfect place for a first date

Dirk Zoller

Nice atmosphere. Good food. Upscale pricing

Logan Shelagowski

We shared 3 entrees between two people, All of them were fantastic! We were both very impressed with the quality and presentation of the dishes. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to show. I would recommend Manolin to anyone looking for great sea food!

New favorite

Ryan Howell

Great and fresh seafood selection and enjoyed the drinks as well. Nice place for people that love great seafood.

Linda M. Bagley

I thoroughly enjoy dining at manolin and try to always set to the right next to the prep cook area so I can watch everything that they put in and on the dishes. I enjoy every bite and am fascinated at the chefs creativity. Service is fabulous and I rarely ever have to wait for table for two. Absolutely love dining here.

Jason Barney

All about the oyster happy hour here. Pretty good deal if you're jonesing for freshly-shucked shellfish. And we loved the plantain chips! The only downside is the limited appetizer and happy hour offerings.

Jason Chung

A little off the beaten path.... but well worth the drive! Marvellous culinary experience. Feast for the eyes and stomach.

Manolin is perfect for a date night. Unique menu with fresh seasonal ingredients. 10/10 in my book with the only downside being the lack of beer selection. However, they make up for it with delicious cocktails and Fremont Brewery is a block away if you're craving a brew. Highly Recommend!

Federico Espriu

Great but small menu. All smallish plates for sharing. I enjoy beef and salads. The place get crowded, no reservations allowed so you might need to wait at peak hour. You can wait sipping a drink at the fire on the terrace. Nice staff.

Hattie Yang

This place serves amazing food but they're a bit overpriced and the service is kind of awkward - if there's 6+ open tables and they don't take reservations, you should be able to sit at one of the tables if you're waiting on your party and if you've bought a drink. I sat on these chairs by the hostess stand and felt like I was constantly in the way

Jesse Yang

Amazing food and great atmosphere

Bradley Philp

Service was a bit slow but nice venue and interesting drinks

James Knicely

Food and flavors are top notch, everything we had was delicious and the cocktails are good too. However, what blew me away was the ribs. My expectations weren't low, I expected it to be good but they were incredible; I just moved here from the South so it's not like I am a stranger to ribs either. We ordered them again after eating everything just to try them one more time.

Katerina Baranyuk

Yummy, eclectic dishes. Family style and small so order a few to share.

Roger Pai

Always a good meal. Seafood focused.

Matt Grimm

Delicious food! Really delicious! But, we ordered a lot of plates and left hungry because the portions are tiny, plus they refuse to serve bread. This place could really be a good restaurant if they increased portion sizes, lowered prices, and served bread.

Brady Quackenbush

A good variety of plates, all done well with interesting flavor combinations.

Dexter Caudill

We ventured in on a snow day and was greeted by super friendly staff and a very rustic and warm decor! Their menu was very short & sweet, with seafood "tapas" style, salads, and meats. We ordered their "must-try" ceviche, yellowfin dish, and grilled beef with chimichurri, with a tasty Hans Gruber cocktail. The flavor combination for both the fish were surprisingly unique, but it worked! I must say I even preferred the yellowfin, which came with a nice blend of nuts and spices in a salsa-esque dish. The highlight of the meal was definitely the beef for me, which came perfectly cooked, moist and tender. The creamy yuca and chimichurri were absolutely perfect pairings. I already want to go back for more!

Eric Thompson

Some of the best happy hour food in Seattle. The mixed drinks are also fantastic! The bar tender and the manager make up custom recipes so are new drinks to try. Best to visit in the summer with the outside seating.

Cindy Illig-Lum

Over priced, oversimplified hipster joint.

Leigh Bulwell

Amazing. The food and ambiance is best for a pleasant get together with buddies, or for a date. It's a little highly-priced, however well worth it!

Abdelrahman Tarief

Just avoid.

Brandon Hintzman

Me and my girlfriend have been there 6 times and have had a wonderful experience every time. Better than I can say about any other restaurant.

Justin Holmes

This is a special place... one of the best meals I've ever had. The flavor combinations were creative and rich, yet perfectly balanced. Each dish was a small journey of flavors. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the textures were varied. Rockfish ceviche, smoked salmon, halibut collar, black rice, horchata cake.

Schuyler Asplin

Great atmosphere, great service, great food and amazing cocktails (cougar and mount si). Smoked salmon and mussels were favorites.

Owen Lee

Creative food and awesome vibe. Oyster selection is only one though.

Neil Kanungo

Not gonna lie... Heard a lot of hype about this place and thought it may be overrated... It really wasn't. The treviso and pear was an amazing dish, the pork ribs were cooked perfect, and the oysters were delicious and good quality. The service was great as well, and always appreciate servers that actually understand the menu and how the food is made. The atmosphere is chill but the place is a little small. Really busy on weekends and probably not great for groups of 4+

Liz Saenz

Great food and service

Jason S.

Food... AMAZING!

Keith Hawley

Food was too frufru. Other than that it was great.

Jesse Turner

Amazing! Terrific ceviche! Great drinks! Great staff! Also oysters... Don't miss them.

Andrew Johnson

Portions a bit small but all perfectly cooked

Janna Rome

Portions were very small. The oysters we're outstanding but the pozole and the mussels were trying to be innovative but the flavors and textures were weird. Not really good value. I won't be going back.

Amy Gregory

The steak is AMAZING Every. SINGLE. Time!! Some of the other dishes are hit and miss, have the house smoked Salmon, skip the black cod.

Marissa Romine

A great restaurant to go to. They have delicious plates, mainly seafood, and great drinks.

Maryana Porter

Excellent service and fantastic food. Sensational cocktails.

Jason Weber

Thoughtful dishes, friendly staff, cool vibes and a patio. Awesome spot!

Alexander Olsen

Great service and patio, love the design and feel of the place. Nice cocktails. Unique dishes with lots of fresh fish options. Oysters options were good and 50% off with happy hour! Great spot for pescatarian if that's your diet.

Matt Clifton

This was the first meal I had while visiting Seattle and it did not disappoint. A great indoor/outdoor atmosphere with plenty of seating, this place would be great for a large group or an intimate meal. We came on a Friday around 630pm and had no wait. We ordered the grilled halibut with apricot mole which was definitely the standout of our meal. Everything was beautifully plated and had the taste to match. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely would recommend this place.

Kiymbah Tytania

Love the atmosphere, smells very fresh, food is delicious, staff is great... I would give it 5 stars, except the portions are very small and I have often had to wait a long time for a table, more than 30mins.

Graydon Loar

Small, unique plates. Priced appropriately. Clean venue with a friendly staff. Manolin checks all the stereotypical Seattle boxes. Great for a date or small group outing.

Stephanie Grimm

Love the heated outdoor seating area. Expect to wait 45-60 minutes on a weekend night--no reservations accepted. Our group of 3 ordered 6 plates and the fried plantains. 5/6 dishes were excellent, especially the "Garden" plates. The grilled papaya was surprisingly disappointing.

Sakib Elahi

Food here was fantastic. Oyster happy hour 4-5p 50% off, 5-6p 25% off. We got the spring green salad, halibut and bread pudding. Complaints are that it was uncomfortably hot because of no A/C, and the service was unenthusiastic at best.

Oscar

Came here with 5 adults. We ended up ordering the entire FISH, GARDEN, GRILL menu. It was delicious and nice. They brought the dishes to us similar to a multi course meal. We also had the Horchata cake which tasted nothing like Horchata, but was absolutely delicious. Great place where the fresh well prepared food.

scott lillibridge

Super fresh food, great drinks, awesome bartender (Kevin), great atmosphere...fantastic!

Arlen Pringle

Cocktails are amazing, AMAZIIIING. Wait staff is kind, quick, and genuine. I’ve had great conversations with multiple staff. Food is also solid.

Lydia Williams

Delicious food, great service, amazing atmosphere, will definitely return!

Paola oliveras carletti

Amazing food! And great place! Perfect cocktails! Got the oyster happy hour! Amazing!! The albacore ceviche and the mussels just great!

Tanya Hayes

Loved the vibe. Great food. But you might still be hungry even after a few plates of food. Or that could just be me.

Ron Lee

Lets start with the food - very flavorful. Let's continue with the staff - very attentive. And then the design - very attractive and comfortable. Plus the atmosphere - very fun. I'll be back when it warms up to sit outside, maybe by the fire and enjoy it all over again.

Jonathan Mathews

ENJOYED THE ATMOSPHERE, EXCELLENT CUISINE, FLAVOR TO THE MAX

Steve Iniguez

Excellent food and atmosphere

Kelly Tygert

Love! Love! Love! This restraunt! Everything is good. Sitting at the counter to watch the action is my favorite. The cocktails are great. Food is fresh and different.

Taylor Newman

Incredible execution of interesting dishes with fresh ingredients. Get there. It's good for your soul.

Annette de Soto

Love, love, love the food here. Every time I go, I try to order some combination of foods I normally don't order and I am always thrilled. They do a superb job of balancing flavors and textures while highlighting each ingredient's best qualities. The service can be mixed. Some servers are great and some indifferent but that seems to be Seattle service these days.

Sierra S.

Amazing food and drinks. Great for special occasions!

Alistair Gannholm

Absolutely amazing, ordered everything on the menu with 4 people, simply marvelous

Alex Meersman

Amazing food & decent wine selection.

Michael Macnab

The mussels dish is the best thing I've eaten during my time in Seattle. It's an incredibly balanced dish with light and fresh flavors and a myriad of textures. The venue is gorgeous and if you can sit on the north end of the bar, you can see into the charcoal grill which is amazing. The outdoor fireplace is so nice as well. Staff A+

Victor Donovic

Really enjoyed the meal. Creative dishes with a chef that knows how to match different ingredients to produce great flavour. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was my pet hate with one dish. The menu didn't mention it had garlic and it was very garlicky. Would come again

Jon Kimbel

A great dinner spot! The staff is friendly and the food is as varied as it is tasty. We had the albacore, the endive, and the pork ribs. The albacore and endive were good but the ribs were the star of the show - highly recommended! The cocktails were also good, we had the Million Dollar Baby and really liked it. Check out the pictures of the place to get an idea of the dress code, if you arrive in a t-shirt you'll probably feel out of place.

Erin Welch

Love their ceviche! Serving sizes are a little small for the price but otherwise this place is fantastic.

Kathleen H.

Super great service and absolutely delicious food. A great restaurant for any number of people, as you share the plates (tapas)! I'd recommend almost anything on the menu, and I loved the atmosphere.

Sarah McDowell

Rockfish ceviche and mussels are amazing!!!

Paul Kreemer

Creative, surprising and always delicious dishes.

Nancy Stiles

Went with 5 adults and we ordered a lot of the menu items and everything was great.

Mark Compton

Great neighborhood spot away from the pricey and corporate downtown food scene. A great example of how if you're from out of town and willing to do a little research, you will find some of the best seafood anywhere in the city of Seattle. Tapas style portions that are perfect for sharing.

Claes Mogren

The food was excellent, we really liked all of it. The only minus was that I didn't get the coffee I ordered to the dessert. We will definitely come again.

J

Expensive but excellent. Must try...

Katrina Lee

Do NOT miss the drink The Grocery List! AMAZING! Just enough spice, and still refreshing! Food was delicious too... but this drink has actually brought us back multiple times!

Megan Brown nydegger

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Don’t skip dessert!

Ivana Slown

I really loved this restaurant. I loved the ambience. Felt classy and really wonderful for a date. The cocktails were tasty and the food was fantastic. My favorite dish of the night was definitely the squid black rice. The rice was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor. It also had a crunchy aspect to it that I really enjoyed!!! (Sort of like the bottom of a stone bowl bibimbap if you had that before) The rockfish ceviche was also good as well! It was fresh and was balanced well. SO why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, the plates are beautiful and yes, the food does taste as good as it looks. However, the plates are REALLY small. I knew tapas were on the smaller side, but I was really hungry when I left. I guess I didn't expect it to be as small as that. Especially since the pictures are so zoomed in. Maybe it just feels like it's on the expensive side for what you get. But, if you're willing to splurge a little and you're not that hungry. I would really recommend this spot :)

Justin Anderson

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Accessible seating at the bar and great for any occasion. The cocktails here and great and are a perfect way to start, especially when combined with the oysters. Must try the seawolf bread appetizer with mussels. Must try the octopus, any which way it is served. Have now tried it Spanish style and Mexican style and honestly can’t decide which preparation is better. They have simply mastered the technique of preparing octopus to keep it tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The beef is typically on the menu and is always perfectly cooked on the wood fire grill. The kale salad is also great and features a perfect combination of citrus, creaminess, and garlic to make it their rendition of a traditional Caesar. Love this place and will continue to return for more food and drinks!

Jacob Butterfield

Fantastic food and experience. The menu is smaller but has great variety and original dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to locals or tourists. It gets busy in the evening, but smaller groups will easily find a table. Also, it's a little ways I'm from the road, so you may have difficulty seeing it from the road.

Caroline Ennis

Snobby service, raw steak, extremely acidic everything. In a word, “nah”

Christine Forbes

Great vibe, patio space available on a hot day. Great service. Great food, ingredients speak for themselves, presebtation beautiful & (more) importantly great beer on tap.

Chris Garrity

Im lucky enough to have a friend suggest i try out this place. Being in school, money is tight, so you'd more likely find me frequenting a greasy burger joint. However, I was told that i HAD to experience what Manolin had to offer. Words can not describe the experience of tasting what each dish had to offer. It was less eating, more tasting/experience. All of the dishes were delicious but the Rockfish Ceviche and Kale salad were two of my top picks. The atmosphere and service were also excellent. Definitely one of my most iconic experiences from my visit to Seattle.

Jay Bergeron

black rice and octopus were interesting and delicious. slow service

Steve Jarrett

Extraordinary rich and diverse flavors, fresh seafood, and authentic and friendly service. Great music. Superb mixed drinks. Cool industrial space with some outdoor seating. One of the best meals I have eaten this year.

Gamer Mini

It was okay. The serving sizes are not very large. The salmon my husband ordered was about an inch wide with some white sauce and that was it for like twenty dollars. My mussels on bread was ok. It was a pice of bread with mussels and cheese on top. Also, the food is brought out as it is made, meaning one person's did might get cold if they wait for everyone's meal. The server explained to is that it is meant to be a communal experience, so as the food comes out, everyone can eat a little of each. That would work if the sizes were sharable. The food was okay, but it was not worth the price for us.

Mark Bezemer

Excellent food and good service.

Joel Morris

Food was outstanding. The rockfish ceviche rivals that of Harry's Fine Foods. However... Service was not so great. Server never made eye contact and seemed distracted. Our drinks came out 2 courses in with no acknowledgement that that probably was not a good thing. Experience was just kind of "cold" and "unwelcoming.". That being said, I'll probably go back to see if they were just having a bad night. Restaurant work can be rough. :-)

Xavier Martinez

Top-notch food. The quality of their meals heavily outweighs the price.

Aaron Morris

Totally A+, Food was amazing, atmosphere was relaxed and chill. I sat at the bar as I am traveling for work. The bartender Patrick was knowledgeable and able to tell me the difference in the oysters, as I am an east coast girl, and found them to be the freshest I have ever had. He also took time all though very busy to talk and make me feel comfortable in a city I had not been to since a little girl. Thank you for the experience and I recommend anyone in the area to experience it as well.

Marc Pollefeys

Great restaurant. Tapas style.

Kevin Toghia

Awesome vibe. Awesome food. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their oysters are very fresh and delicious. My friend and I were able to grab a spot right at the bar and the staff were bouncing off recommendations. It is always nice to go to a restaurant where the workers actually like the food.

Joe Stafford

Wonderful outdoor patio experience! Do try the rice pudding.

Wes Brown

JenQ Lee

Love their food! Superb! The best meal I had in Seattle. Their place is quite cosy and suitable for casual dining. Definitely worth a try!

Billy Zavelson

A very solid dining experience. The limited menu left me wanting more, only because what I had was so good. I was surprised that “no” was the answer to the question about substitutions due to dietary restrictions, especially at a place as well-rated as this and in a city like Seattle. Yet, we still managed our way through a nice and surprisingly pricey meal. The service is friendly and helpful, even without the possibility of substitutions. Go for the halibut, the ceviche and the pork ribs.

Andy Galbraith

Incredible little restaurant. The space is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly. Every drink we had was excellent- well balanced and refreshing across the board. The grilled beef and banana pudding were unreal, but all the food was great. Lots of outdoor space too, which should be nice in the summer.

Paul Willenberg

It's like if Walrus and Carpenter was good.

Meriah Kulikovskyi

My husband and I were in town for only a day and wanted to have an interesting culinary experience. This was well worth the hype. The dishes were flavorful, unique, and thought provoking, and we enjoyed sampling nearly all of the dishes on the menu. The plates are of course small, but that's just the tapas style of the restaurant. The server was friendly and was clear about the size of the portions and the amount that we should order. I was especially impressed with the seasonal dessert. All around, a lovely experience with a great ambiance. We look back on our time there fondly.

Jeff Day

Amazing cocktails. Nice outside fire-side patio.

Natalie Chun

This is a great restaurant with high quality ingredients, nicely cooked and where you don't feel they are skimping on quantity or quality to save a couple bucks. The octopus and ceviche were delicious and a good price for what you get. This is definitely a place to go back.

Judy Jun

Great place but small plate besides of price

Grace Gravestock

Super yummy dishes, especially the heirloom tomato salad with cured egg yolk (salty ummami flavor), and restaurant-mafe plantain chips. Surprisingly delectable horchata cake had unique, layered flavors and textures that were light and satisfying.

Jeremy McAllister

Good eats and good drinks and great service. Well crafted tapas style plates for all tastes

TallyAnn Carroll

Great ambiance, craft cocktails and food is fabulous and every plate a work of art!

Will Gix

Enjoyed that happy hour on my birthday.

Luk Burchard

I'm really sorry to give this review. The dish looked amazing, sadly though we found a living cod worm (parasite) in our smoked salmon.

Cameron Wheeler

Oysters, delicious food and amazing cocktails.

Luis Soto

By far one of my top 5 favorite meals I had in the USA. The food, the service, the ambiance were all perfect! We had the Pork Roast, the Albacore, the Grilled Octopus and the Pineapple dessert. They were all 5 stars and cooked to perfection with amazing taste. The texture, the explosive flavors in your mouth are top notch! I will recommend this restaurant to any locals or any visitors to the Seattle area like myself. I travel 4 days of the week for work and this is at the top of my list for best places to eat anywhere in this beautiful country. Praise to Kevin, the bartender, for his EXTRAODINARY service and attentiveness! He should get more than 5 stars but google only allows 5. Claps for Manolin!

Spencer Judge

Very tasty, unique dishes. Above average cocktails as well, and I mean in comparison to similar restaurants. I would recommend a reservation, there are few tables and they're always packed. The black rice with chorizo was my favorite dish on the menu at the time. Definitely plan on sharing plates.

Charles Vasquez

Overall, it has a great dining atmosphere. You get to wait at a covered area with a fire pit to keep you warm. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. Every dish we ordered from appetizer to the main course were all magnificent. It made the trip from Vancouver, BC worth it. Definitely recommend this place when in Seattle are.

Ray LaFrance

We enjoyed 4 wonderful entrees, served family-style. The portions were perfect, though if you're a fan of buffets, please stay away. The food is too good for that. Stay at the local trough, please. The start was a half-dozen sweet and briny oysters. Yum. Then we progressed to black rice with squid, then the halibut, and the mussels, and finished with the zucchini. All were perfectly done and seasoned. For cocktails, try the Caddyshack. This was a fun weeknight adventure!

Brent Lagesse

Excellent food. Good cocktails. Good wine.

Joan Gerdes

This place is great. Wonderful small portions to share plus lively young staff and inventive cocktails.

Wendy Golenbock

I wish I could give it a 10 !!! best meal ever...pork was so good ...kale salad yum ...my family loved the posole soup and the tuna and the scallops ...we all loved the waitress too !!! four tired happy people!!! so good

Ms Paolone

Delicious and super fun for sharing plates with others!

Christian Bergh

The oysters are amazing, but it wasn't great for the group of 6 people I was with. The portions are too small and too expensive to share with that many people. This would be great for a date, but not for a group.

jason pham

Quintessential Seattle restaurant, taking the best ingredients available during the season and highlighting the flavors. Affordable dishes at good portion size so able to try a lot of things without breaking the bank. Great places for a date, though no reservations.

Brian Webber

Amazing menu that changes with the seasons. Perfectly cooked sharable plates. Definitely look forward to bringing friends here that are from out of town and are looking for a real Seattle food experience. Good date spot too!

Andrew Geilfuss

Amazing service, serious cocktail talent, and fresh coastal flavors that match the singular ambiance perfectly. Ian Fleming and Hemingway would have dined here often, as coastal austerity is warmed by the open wood-burning grill, like a campfire on a tropical beach.

Carlos Alberto

Really great small high cuisine plates

Sofia Jukelson

Simple and friendly restaurant with very sophisticated and tasty tapas sized food. Incredible value for the money. From a perspective of a European, having lived in the US for over a year (and travelled around a bunch) this was one of the best food experiences in the country. Cocktails are at par with the food!

Yo Man

Surprisingly terrible food. In contrast to the other reviewers, the server was friendly and helpful, even when we sent a dish back. But really, the only thing right with this meal was the service. - I guess it's a tapas place because the dishes are pretty bare although a) the servings are huge and not tapas oriented (e.g. one giant octopus tentacle) b) the 3 dishes we had were each served about half an hour apart c) this would have been helpful to know in advance. - The place was pretty much empty, but it took the steak almost 45 minutes to come and when it did, it was rare not medium as ordered. - There was so much salt on the octopus it was barely edible. - There was so much vinegar on the salad, that was barely edible too. - We sent the fish back. - The menu lists the ingredients, but not how they're cooked, so each serving is a surprise.

Audrey L

Loved the creativity of the food and the ambiance! Ordered the Rockfish Ceviche, which was really delicious. Only 1-2 pieces tasted a bit fishy to me. It would have been nice if the dish came with more chips (maybe lotus root chips or tortilla chips) to pair with the ceviche. I also got the Spanish octopus (fried), which was very unique. The texture was a bit meaty to me though, and I had expected it to be more tender. My favorite part was the sweet potato chips!

Nick C

Beautiful salads and fun cocktails! Nice outside seating area

Max Soi

Exceptional tapas style restaurant with South American inspired dishes and ingredients. Excellent service from very professional and friendly staff. The ambiance and decor were really beautiful. Ceviche is on par with anything in Peru. The steak was seasoned and cooked absolutely perfectly. Somewhat pricey but great place for a special occasion.

Nik Kontrimas

Manikin has no reservations but you can order drinks and wait for the time being. Cocktails are yummy and the food is served tapas style. The food is delicious and reminiscent of central and South American cuisine. Always love coming back and trying the new things on the menu

Andrew Lee

I have wanted to visit Manolin for a few years now and am really glad I finally did. It’s a little difficult to find parking, but I was eventually able to at 4pm on a Sunday. I believe a lot has been written about the interior of the restaurant, so I’ll be brief. The restaurant has high ceilings and has large openings to the patio and outdoors. The central bar is stunning as well. The waitstaff were all well-trained and treated us very well. When it comes to the food, almost every dish was a highlight. We started with the plantain chips and liked them so much ordered them again to eat with the ceviche. The ceviche was seasoned perfectly and the rockfish was very fresh. The combination of flavors were executed perfectly. The Barron Point and Shigoku oysters were also extremely fresh and flavorful. The iberico lamb ribs were great as well. The meat fell right off the bone and the rub was spicy and balanced well with the naturally gamey lamb. The pozole verde was also a highlight with its green flavors and acidic finish. The overall experience was noteworthy and a wonderful experience. It’s definitely one of the best restaurants in Seattle.

Pedro Fernandez

Loved it! Loved the place, the atmosphere and the food! It has a very nice patio. Food is "new American" with an international touch. Very original. Tapas size, Ideal to share. The grilled beef was awesome. The ceviche delicious, the mussels, the salmon...everything was really good. The staff were super nice and ready to help and answer question about the menu.

Elliot Mork

Probably the best meal I've had in a very long time. Take the bartender drink recommendations, then know what they are doing. Loved my visit here.

Dirk Devlin

An Amazing dinning experience. The kitchen is front and center. A joy to watch the staff. Our meal was as much a visual treat as a taste sensation. Small but exciting plates that don't leave you wanting. But leave room for the deserts. A full service bar, you can't go wrong.

Sophia Field

I fell in love with this place when I first moved here 4 years ago, which was about time when it opened. It’s still such a fun place, lively fun vibe, and great food that won’t make you feel like you need to do 5 hours of extra workouts next day

Dustin D Clark

Get the oysters. Get the grilled beef. Thank me later. This is the best food I've had in town (so far). My bar is insanely high for meat too (because Texas), so don't take my beef recommendation lightly. I called ahead and they said is was kid friendly, but it really wasn't...around dinner anyways (yup, we were those parents). Great date night spot though.

Jenny Ma

We ventured in on a snow day and was greeted by super friendly staff and a very rustic and warm decor! Their menu was very short & sweet, with seafood "tapas" style, salads, and meats. We ordered their "must-try" ceviche, yellowfin dish, and grilled beef with chimichurri, with a tasty Hans Gruber cocktail. The highlight of the meal was definitely the beef for me, which came perfectly cooked, moist and tender. The creamy yuca and chimichurri were absolutely perfect pairings. I already want to go back for more!

Hayden Williams

About the only thing it really offers is great atmosphere. Extremely poor service and very pretentious. The black rice was honestly nothing special, and essentially tastes like salty rice with lime juice added. The pork chop was equally sad, served with a side of veggies that tasted only of bitterness and burnt. Pretty disappointed on all levels.

Febry Fawzi

Really good place to have dinner. Really cool and warm inside, with open kitchen and delicious foods. The taste reminds me of Peruvian cuisine.

Laura Haas

Great small plates; we had oysters, beautifully fresh, both kinds of ceviche, octopus, pork. Wonderful flavors, each dish sharable (5 dishes plus oysters for the 4 of us worked nicely). The wine list is short but international and good choices. A little loud, but the place was packed. Prompt and friendly service.

Laura Bensona

Party of 7 ate here on a Sunday night. Food and service were excellent. Interesting dishes with unique taste combinations and everything worked. Great wine list by the glass and by the bottle - not a huge wine list, but wines from all over the world to suit your preference. The after dinner drink list also impressive. If you are a whiskey drinker, you will be impressed with their list! Recommendations from our visit: Smoked salmon, heirloom tomato salad, ceviche, grilled beef with chimichurri.

Great fish and cocktails with a Caribean vibe.

Bonnie Campbell

Stopped in alone for happy hour and a bite to eat. Had the happy hour wine and was delicious, and the black rice with squid which was awesome - full of flavour with some crunchy bits. Service was awesome, was completely comfortable being by myself. 100% would recommend.

The smoked salmon is like buttah! Melt in your mouth decadence! The posole soup...posole was way undercooked, but I definitely recommend the place overall.

Kara Krebs

The portions were quite small but the taste and atmosphere were great.
