Dak gui and galbi are great. Did not like the kimchi.

Ben Titus

Great happy hour dumplings!

Honestly, not really home-style Korean food, unless you're looking for Americanized Korean food. Maybe the names are Korean, but the presentation and taste aren’t really authentic - a bit off actually, too sweet or salty. I'm not saying the food or service was bad, however. Just not what I'm used to in Korean food.

Rebecca Cooper

Great place for Korean food. Got there right at opening and the bar staff was nice and helpful. Ordered the lunch special and the tacos and mandu were perfect.

Michael Giudice

Delicious food. Complex flavors and textures. Large portions. Great value. Casual atmosphere.

Zaque Johnson

The dduk was great. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back.

Great place for brunch! I've passed by Mandu on my way to work and decided to try it over the weekend. I ordered the brunch platter and the zucchini pancakes are amazing! The rest of the platter (veggie egg sushi, hash browns, egg mushroom scones were fine - worth sampling for $15). The pan-fried veggie dumplings are delicious with a generous portion of 6 dumplings, you can do 1/2 and 1/2. I ordered the Chap Chae glass noodles with veggies and tofu, which was good. The shiitake mushrooms were on point. As the noodles get soggy, they are not tasty leftovers. I enjoyed the veggie bibimbap which came with tofu, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, spinach and a couple of other veggies. I prefer the veggie bibimbap over the Chap-Chae noodles. My fiancee also enjoyed the chicken bibimbap. I like the mango sojutini, a Japanese spin of mango martini with Japanese liquor that tastes like vodka. For $4, it was hard to resist to only get one. Bloody Mary's are also only $4 during brunch. To top it off, we had the mango sorbet, which was good. The best part of the meal were the 6 sides, all of them were good, the broccoli, sprouts, and marinated tofu were my favorite. These sides rarely change. With plenty of outdoor seating, I had an enjoyable brunch on the patio. Mandu is also a fun lunch spot with coworkers. Crowd pleaser for vegetarians and meat lovers. I promise you won't leave hungry with generous portion sizes and tasty sides.

Sheila Edmondson

Each visit I try something new and I haven't been disappointed. My favorite is the dolsat bibim bap! I also have enjoyed the various flavored sojutini cocktails.

When you want to have real Korean foods in Washington D.C., you must visit this place!

Great food. Service is friendly. Try the lunch specials.

Danielle Ricks

Loved their Korean brunch. You get a Korean-style omelet, chive pancakes, Korean hash browns, and your choice of marinates beef, chicken, tofu. This is topped off with a scope of gelato. Soooooo yummy!

Patrick Benitez

Pretty decent Korean food. I got the Bibibamp and some appetizers for lunch which were relatively good food. Other than that, there was nothing really else spectacular at this establishment. Good food which is a little over priced from my point of view.

Austin Adams

Enjoyable and reasonable happy hour in low-lit surrounds. Good beers and cocktails on HH along with decent dumplings at a good price. Hit if you’re in the area, but not quite worth going too far out of the way.

Sarah Kim

I heard great reviews about Mandu and now I'm ready to leave my own. This restaurant is an insult to Korean food. The starter dishes were bland and unappetizing. Their kimchi bokkumbap was greasy and didn't taste even the slightest like kimchi. Their chicken kalgooksoo was like dry chicken sitting in water with some noodles. The only moderately tasty dish was their eggplant&beef stir fry, but it was drenched in oil. I essentially paid to drink water because I couldn't stomach the food. Avoid if you can. If you can't then fill up on the water.

Sam S.

Great Korean food, notably the dolsot bibimbap, which is kind of a stir fry, except baked and served in a hot stone bowl. It's fantastic. The place itself has a nice, sort of upscale, but not pretentious atmosphere. They also have a solid happy hour, with great deals on their signature "sojutinis" - made using the Korean liquor soju. Try the aloe sojutini!

Having the SOON DOOBU, Great flavor and Spice and miss Eun is a very nice person ! Service was amazing and great.

Tatyana Malyutin

This was a new and very pleasant discovery for us. We love Korean cuisine and this restaurant offers most of the authentic dishes in kind of "modern package". Though not a big variety of panchan (hope I spelled it right)but all very yummy. Mandu was the only thing that was somewhat disappointing. All the other food and drinks were just great. Ambiance is cozy and modern and service was not great but very good. Definitely recommend this place to Korean food lovers and particularly to newbies to this cuisine. You are not going to be overwhelmed by smock of grilling, or hard choice in ordering process, or shocked by uneven service of authentic places, but still enjoy very yummy food. And the prices are very reasonable too.

Tteokpokki is all you need! :3

Mandu has a great happy hour, with specials on draft beer, soju-tinis, and of course, mandu (dumplings). Bartenders are friendly and attentive.

Trey Eaton

Good happy hour wing special

My server was very bad. She was asian and had pigtail hair style. She never smiled while she was serving and looked at me very scary. I'm not american so not good at English, when I order the menu to her by not perfect English, she had scary looking to me. That make me feel very scared and pretty bad. It was nice restarunts and I like their food but I hate the true that some unkind asian girl look like Korean serves my country's food badly. I put about 15% tips on the table but it is not for her. If she has conscience, she must give tip other employees like entrance guide or bar server. I'll never go there because of the girl.

Ioana Bociu

Delicious and beautiful place. Was packed during AGU. It seems like many people make reservations.

(Translated by Google) Korean restaurant near Washington Convention Center. The taste of kimchi stew is similar to that of Korean kimchi stew, and the soup is made of mushrooms. The ribs are served with lettuce, which is a bit tender but good to eat. Tteokbokki seems to have made it easy for foreigners to eat because there is almost no spicy taste. When you think of rice cakes in America, you should try it once. However, Pajeon is rather close to Bijangdaekki, and bulgogi is too weaved. The side dishes (cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, burdock, etc.) are provided, which is a big advantage!

Excellent food and great service!

Jady Tsao

Pretty good Korean food for a slightly higher price ($25 per person with shared entre). Atmosphere is great, dobogi is sweeter than spicy. But overall it was a pretty good experience.

Katie E

Big fan of their mandu dumplings and the galbi. The drink menu also made this a great happy hour spot. I've also done carry-out from them, and the food was just as good as I enjoyed at one of their tables.

We ate here in Spring of 2017 - we are planning our next trip to the area and will return to this restaurant. Great food & alcohol options.

Adam Friedman

Very poor customer service. Despite not being busy when we arrived, they were very reluctant to seat us at a table of our choice. As we were leaving, we saw them force a seated couple to get up from a 4 person table, so that it would be available for a larger party (should one arrive).

As its name says, mando was great appetizer. Steamed pork & beef mando was fantastic. Their Sondu boo (spicy soup with seafood) was also very tasty. One that sells at Korea usually more spicy and salty but I like less salty and spicy version because my stomach can hurt for a while if I eat too spicy Sundu boo.

caroline trussell

Love this place! They have an amazing happy hour, including post stickers and drafts. Everything you could want and their outside seating area is so cute and great to sit at when it’s nice outside

Elizabeth Rapp

This place was great. We were a party of 8 and found the service to be attentive and quick. Happy hour is a great deal for drinks and dumplings. The bibimbap was delicious too.

L. Wilson

Very tasty. Vegetarian and GF options available. Definitely worth trying!

Jhoel Pabon

Always at DC will to be a great option. Amazingly done Korean food! Tastes just like my mom's cooking, just, missing that special touch legit home cooking has. Great place to introduce someone to Korean food as well, they have all of the foods you'd expect.

Great tasting food and quick service. Limited menu for lunch. Portions are not as large as traditional Korean restaurants but still very delicious.

Nick Moyer

Great dumplings and fried chicken. The entrees are generous portions and really food

Alison Curtis

This was my first time having Korean food, and I wasn't disappointed! The beef & pork mandu were delicious, and the happy hour was reasonable.

Doris Latimore Johnson

First visit, sat at bar intending only food to go. Happy hour Sojutinis. Soju with a splash of fruit juicev I had pear. Next thing I knew...Ate half of my veggie dumplings and pan fried eggplants. Good if you are watching salt intake...side dip if you want a little zing. Maybe next i will be more daring. 아주 맛있는

Uri Yoo

I really wanted to like the place. I did. After all, it is one of the few korean restaurants in the city. Despite wonderful deco, nice ambiance, and lovely (if slow) service, the food is rather mediocre fare served up at a very high-end prices. Bulgogi for $28? Really?? If it tasted like heaven, maybe, but the taste is really just meh. My attempt to introduce coworkers to wonders of Korean food kinda fell flat here. Sorry. Either lower your price point or get a little more creative and/or delicious on the food.

Audrey Park

Taste is just not there. Not the soul and taste of real Korean food.

Meg Smith

Mandu is my favorite Korean restaurant. Been going for years and still so good. Flavors are clean and bright. The space is open alluring. Rotating seasonal beers and a fun sojutini list make it a great place for happy hour. The bibimbap cannot be beat. Always a reliable standby.

Bryn Yoder

Mandu has a wonderful, quiet environment. Servers were pleasant, and the restaurant was not overcrowded. Prices were a little high, but the food was delicious. For DC visitors: it is a good experience, but maybe not worth the price, when you can find comparable, authentic food in DC suburbs for a lot less.

Kristin Wilcox

Great, thoughtful service. Giving a shout out to Boyd! He gives a great Soju etiquette course! Wonderful food, tasty dumplings and grill dishes and house specialities are soo good. A great place for those that love Korean food and for new comers! Thank you Mandu!

Luke T. Phillips

So amazing!

Mike Loewenthal

Excellent service, specials and food. One of my favorite restaurants in DC.

Jim Miller

The bibimbap was fresh and excellent and served quickly. The side dishes were very tasty and fresh and when I finished a dish my waiter asked me if I would like another and brought it right away. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient and make you feel welcome. At $15 the bibimbap is a little pricey but this is Washington DC at dinner at 8PM.

good korean food

Carol Chan

When my husband and I first began dating, we were just walking distance away from NYC's K-town. Soon tofu, Bibimbap were our default, go-to, comfort food. Unfortunately, DC just doesn't have any good Korean (or any Asian) restaurant options available. After multiple failed foodie trips to Northern VA for some legit Korean grub weekend after weekend, my husband and I were more than thrilled to learn that Mandu was just walking distance from us and also offered all our Korean cravings! We were welcomed and impressed by Mandu's clean, bright, modern dining room. My husband went with his go to soon tofu and I went with their brunch platter chicken special. We were served with their side dishes immediately after we placed our orders. All of their side dishes were very tasty and spot on (loved the black beans, chilli cucumber, and marinated eggplants!). I couldn't help but ask for multiple refills (at least I was eating my veggies and not a whole bread basket!). My husband was impressed by the amount of seafood he received in his soon tofu. Although it was little spicier than what he's used to, he claimed it had just the right amount of heat to it. I couldn't believe how much food came with my brunch platter. I actually had enough leftover to pack home for another meal. The pancakes were out of the world (piping hot + chewy inside, crispy + crunchy outside) - too bad it only came with two pieces! I would definitely order them separately next time as my appetizer! The chicken - a little overcooked aka dry and overwhelmed by the amount of chili oil - nevertheless still delicious (a little fat doesn't hurt anyone and I need to work on some curve on this body). Not that I didn't have enough to eat from my brunch platter and side dishes combined, my special also came with dessert! I had the options of sorbet (guava or passionfruit) or gelato (Nutella) - I opted to share the guava with my husband. Served in a small tea cup, the guava sorbet was light yet creamy = simply the perfect sweet ending. Overall - Our waitress was a trainee and did an amazing in serving us (refilled our side dishes 4 times!). Foods were on point, just a little on the pricier side (more expensive than all the Korean restaurants we had back in NYC - but hey with the limited options in DC, this was a steal!). Mandu has officially become our Korean fix restaurant! Can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu!

Ziyun Huang

The mandu and the yukae hang is pretty decent, but the bibim bop and the sauce on top is on the sweeter side. But cant beat the great price.

Dakota Cary

Yummy and spicy. Worth the try, but not deserving of 5 stars.

Li Jing

Wonderful experience! The food is very tasty. The waiter is very friendly! Worth trying!

Lorna Julien

The food is on POINT. And everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful of you need advice on the menu.

This is definitely home cooked Korean food with a lot of attention to details. It looked like they made their own noodles for dak kalguksoo, and the broth is excellent. Loved the fragrance of mushrooms in dolsot bibimbap. For some folks, it may lack flavor, but I think this restaurant uses very little or no miwon/msg. Instead, the food has depth of flavor from natural ingredients. A lot of Korean restaurants use a ton of msg to fill up that "flat or missing" flavor. The service? One server was definitely Jack Frost conjuring up winter, and the other server brought some spring back.....

Adam Williams

My favorite bar in the city. Amazing cocktails and the food...simply marvelous. It has everything you want.

Alma Bicknese

Fun place, not fancy

Schenley Vocat

The dimsum and the bulgogi(with side dish), I love it! It is so delicious and affordable. The people working there are very friendly and attentive. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ryan Lantzy

The bulgogi is fantastic!

Reginald Greene

Great atmosphere, service, and food and drinks

Eli Liu

Absolute 5-star Korean place to go. Amazing bulgogi and fried chicken.

Robert Remache

Good service but food is not delicious, disappointed

David Douglass

The service was terrible. It took 10 minutes for me to get a water and 15 minutes to get my side dishes, which I had to specifically ask for since the server forgot. Oh ya. I asked if a server called in sick because there was only one waitress for 6 inside tables, 3 outside tables, plus she was taking food orders from 4 people at the bar. Nope. All those people were served by one waitress and a host and that is standard. I ordered the dumplings pan fried, but they were grease balls. I then waited another 25 minutes for my bibam bap. For those that don't know, bibam bap is rice, cold vegetables, one fried egg and very little beef. One of the worst "Korean" restaurants I've ever been to. I'll never be going back.

Juliana MJ Kim

overall the food is good, but little $$$ ...

Jeffery Blackwell

Loved this place, great waitress who helped and explained everything to us!! Will go back!

Andrew Park

Limited selection of Korean food. Think dumplings and bibimbop. It's not badly done, it's just not anything special.

Deborah Farley

Awesome and healthy Korean food

Ryan Underwood

Their lunch special is a fantastic deal! 2 Korean tacos, 6 mandu dumplings, a pint of craft beer and all the customary Korean sides... all for just $13. The staff is pleasant as well. Their Korean chicken wings are unbelievable!

Mr Adidas

A great experience. Tasteful not only to taste buds but environment was definitelyrelaxing. Best taste I've had to being in South Korea to date.

Binbing Hou

The lettuce even has dirty soil. This means that they did not wash the vegetables carefully. I concern very much about the cleanliness of their food provided to the customers. What made me more annoyed is that they even did not say sorry about their mistakes.

Siris Laursen

Quite decent Korean food. Nice service too.

Omar Green

Amazing brunch alternative

Anna Youngk

One of the best dining experiences I have had in a while! Amazing food and amazing staff!

The chicken wings are awesome! We had to get more after devouring the first batch. And the Sojutinis will sneak up on you, they come in a lot of flavors.

F.Martin Martin

Friendly service, very nice food and ambiance was easy to hold a conversation

I give this place four stars because the food was pretty good but my waiter seemed kind of rude and turned me off of the place. It has an uppity feeling for what's supposed to be comfort food like dumplings. I felt a little uncomfortable and probably wouldn't return unless it was to order take away. The pork bulgogi is recommended!

Andrea Wu

I came here for lunch on a weekday, and it was about half full when I arrived. I was promptly seated, given a menu, and served water. I got mandu (half shrimp, and half pork + beef) and ddukbokki (rice cakes in red sauce with beef and mushrooms). The mandu came out first, and the skin was chewy and there was a lot of filling. But, there wasn't a lot of flavor, though the dish come with light soy sauce. They were tasty for an appetizer. After a while, I was served a plate of bulgogi, and I told the waitress I ordered ddukbokki, not bulgogi. I apologized, and she said it's okay and went to put in my order. She also gave me the side dishes (potato, broccoli, beans, cucumber, kimchi, and tofu), which were all okay. I've had a lot of Korean food (including in South Korea) and this was the first time I've ever seen beans as a side dish. Anyway, my ddukbokki came out afterward, and it didn't look like a lot of food but it was. There was a LOT of beef but not a lot of rice cake. I actually counted and there were ten pieces of rice cake. For a dish that's rice cakes, I expected there to be more rice cake. There was a decent amount of mushrooms as well. But more rice cake please! All this came out to be around $29 post-tax, which is definitely quite pricey for the amount of food. Service is quite friendly but a bit slow; I asked for broccoli and potato refills and it came out really late (I actually thought the waitress forgot about it).

Khamise Abdul-Jabbar

Love my late night bartending crew, always personable, and willing to listen to industry late night rants! Oh and the food is always amazing!

Gustavo Lopez

Very good

Zeng C.

Disappointed place. The vegetables are not fresh at all. The taste is extremely flat. I don't know if he is the owner or waiter, but the man at the front desk is not friendly at all. Not to mention the service. They barely walk to you and check how is going. You go in, you order, eat, and pay the check. That's it. Would never go there again nor recommend to anyone!

Amy Weber

Ordered the pork pan-fried dumplings and bulgogi. It was all absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Highly recommend trying it.

Gyeonghun Park

Galbi is good!

Sara Locke

The wait staff are super, the happy hour is great, and the food and beer selection are excellent!

Jackie S Yoon

Nice interior and kind staffs with good service. It had good vibe which I liked it. But taste of food wasn't good enough. I had steamed shrimp and fried vegetables dumplings, pajun, and gimchi with beef mixed rice in the hot stone pot. The rice was quite good, but the rest was not delicious; ironically the two kinds of dumplings was very disappointing.

Kellee Seif

Excellent food and friendly staff. I arrived during happy hour (4-7) and took advantage of the specials and had Mandu and a Sojutini to start. Then the Dolsot Bibim Bap. Amazing and authentic.

Was not what I was expecting exactly but it was still good. My family ordered a variety of dishes including the Mandu, KFC, pajeon, juk, hoduk, grilled meats, ttoekbokki, jjajangmyun, the brunch platter, etc. I had the juk and jjajangmyun and the juk was my favorite! I really appreciated the handmade noodles in the jjajangmyun too. I also had the yogurt sojutini, which was good. I definitely want to go back and try more dishes! Staff was awesome and explained dishes to members of my family that didn't know much about Korean dishes.

Norman Hunt

Great food and friendly staff. Worth the time if you’re in the area.

Great birthday dinner!

Christian Schilder

The quality of the food was amazing. It was very authentic and well done. Even the plating was done very well. The service was great, too. I would recommend the restaurant to korean friends.

Austin Graff

A solid 4 star rating. My wife and I went here on a date night on Thursday and we walked right in with no wait time. They have a great happy hour with "sojutinis" that are great (and pretty big drinks for a happy hour) and dumplings. I ordered the kimchi fried rice and added pork and it was AMAZING! If you like Korean food, this place is the place to be in the District!

John Walsh

Excellent staff, great food

Bryan Patterson

Always great food and service. Check out the bar menu for more eclectic dishes.

Shankar Kulumani

Food is decent but the prices are way too much. Bulgogi is $27 and not worth the price for some marinated beef and zucchini.

Nicholas McMonigle

Excellent, authentic Korean food at a good price. Romantic atmosphere and great service. I had my food within ten minutes of ordering.

Nickolas Politika

Great food, outstanding atmosphere, if you're in the area, I would highly recommend going here

Hinna Ahmad-manzoor

First time having authentic Korean food, and they set the bar high.

Heidi Krieger

awesome food!

Very good!

Alexis Moody

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend this spot for great food and a reasonable price in DC!

Soyoon Kum

Foods are normally 15 to 18 dollars, try Mandu as an appetizer. You can choose three flavors. I tried two of each flavors. Shrimp was the best for me.

Stephanie Funes-Ramos

Amazing food and service!

St Mi

Two friends and I went on a Saturday night (early-ish) and it was already crowded and noisy (as most places in DC are during post-work hours or on the weekend). Because we were early enough, we got seated immediately. The tables are packed in, but not so tight that you're sitting in someone else's lap. The food is pretty good, though for the price the portions are small. I can say this was pretty good fare; however, it seemed to be missing that "je ne sais quoi" that makes Korean food such great comfort food. Would I go back? Yes, but probably for takeout, and only after saving up for it.

Matthew Austin

Authentic Korean

Laurel Capesius

The most delicious dumplings I've had and a happy hour price you can't beat! Super great staff, service, ambiance - everything.

Kayla Iuliano

You know a restaurant is good when you crave their food for 3 years! In 2014 I grabbed dinner here with some friends. I was back in DC this past weekend and made sure to head over there again. The appetizers were wonderful, the food came out quickly, and was decently priced considering the amount you're given and its quality. Service was great. Both times I've had the Dolsot Bibim Bap (rice, veggies, and beef in a hot stone bowl). Highly recommended! Perfectly cooked, fresh veggies, and the bowl stays so warm that even after half an hour (about the amount of time it took me to finish eating due to the volume of food), it's still only a shade cooler than when it came from the kitchen. Awesome place!

Colin Wiley

Great filling, healthy meal with extra care given to identify menu items with meat or flavors from animals when I let the waitress know of dietary restrictions!

Se Jin Kim

The price is a bit there but the portion and taste was reflective of the price. We had leftovers and a lot of other ppl did to so you just ask for a box. The stew had enough ingredients rather just being flavored water unlike some other restaurants. The galbi was also spot on. As a korean, I'd definitely go here again whenever i crave korean food.

Abdul Habeeb

Great service, solid food. Got to the restaurant a few minutes before their brunch ended and they had no issues with serving it to us. The overall service was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely plan on checking out their original location which apparently has a different menu.

Zeming Wen

The taste is not that good, but great service.

David Rosenberg

Always a solid meal. The bibimbap is pretty great.

AnneKathryn Dalton

I love most everything about this place. The food, service, and environment are awesome! But, it's a little pricey.

Ebony Gregory

A very good place to eat. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was even better. A place for a romantic date or to take the family. #LOVEIT

Bishoy Gaid

Food comes so fast and fresh which is amazing. They have great happy hour specials everyday. Also staff are super friendly. I thought the bathroom could use more regular cleaning.

Rajiv Shah

The food here was really tasty. There may be a little wait to get a table but you can have a drink at the bar if the pretentious bar tender feels like serving you. Once you get over the fact that he may just be a little bit stuck up you can move on your dining table and realise that the restaurant is really good. There are plenty of vegetarian choices and a lot of the dishes can have the meat substituted so it's definitely worth a try for veggies.

Robin Hall-Johnson

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place looking for a late night spot to eat and it was great, we fell in love and will be back

Tony Du

extremely slow service, taste so so, expensive

Joseph Hoffman

Went here with 5 friends. Everyone loved their food. Setting is downtown modern. Decent prices. I got their chicken.

Goda Choi

I had a weekend brunch, with more than enough to eat. I only wondered why a restaurant called mandu didn't include any mandu in the weekend special... They say that a Korean restaurant should be judged on the ban-chan, in this case it was so-so. Then again, I'm used to mom's kitchen, so pretty spoiled I guess. Desert was non-Korean mango sorbet, one scoop.

Omar Badawy

Great food and service

Joy Young

Beth Brickman

Excellent service by our bartenders Phil & Jason. Fantastic happy hour 7 days/week

Jyun-Syun Li

An authentic Korean restaurant. I visit once a week for good asian food. I love their duru jige and kalbi. They also service free Korean side dishes which you can refill for free. Interesting thing is they serve Korean brunch too. You can make your weekend starts from here.

Taste Amazing! This place has really good service, and the ambiance has a nice feel to it.

Master Vicente Albuerne

Excellent food real Korean Traditional cuisine, the place is nice and quiet and the waiter very professional, but the flavor is amazing if you come to Washington DC and you like the Korean style I recommend the Mandu.

As usual in DC, why is this a late night spot? it’s not open is closed past ten should not even be listed waste of time

Didn't have hamburgers. Place sucks

(Translated by Google) I eat Korean food in the US, it was just me. There is a rice cakes, I tried to make it, but it is a common eating spot. It's not bad, but if you ate it in Korea, you might not like it.

Not for Korean people. No flavors.

I can feel a taste of Korea

though the environment and service are good, the food has been tuned to satisfy white people's taste. Not recommend if you prefer authentic korean food

Food was good, but not excellent. Has a nice homemade and fresh taste, but lacks flavor in some foods. The waiters are very friendly and the space is nice.

We came here for dinner and tried three things: veggie mandu (dumplings), bebimbap in the hot pot, and kimchi fried rice. All pieces were nice but ultimately not thrilling. The mandu--we chose fried over baked--had a nice crisp exterior and a good dipping sauce; the interior was a little blander. There are 6 to an oder, so it's an easy number to share. The bebimbap was good and the portion was nice, but the hot pot ended up being pointless! The rice is supposed to crisp in the hot pot, but ours never did. So we paid $2 to eat our bebimbap out of a hot pot that didn't work. Bummer! The kimchi fried rice was really spicy. I've never had a dish like it. It was nice, though I'd have been disappointed if I'd ordered that as my sole plate (instead of split-splitting with the bebimbap). It was just one-dimensional. It was also *very* spicy--almost too spicy (says someone who loves spice). Finally, the meal comes with banchan--small plates. This was a nice addition! The service was good and attentive, though we became concerned as they kept serving drinks to the obviously drunk people at the next table. Eventually the server delivered them a drink and said, "Okay, this is the last one," so it was good to see the server cut them off... it just should've happened several drinks sooner.

Quick service, not usually busy, quiet atmosphere. Good for a quick or causal bite or date. Portions are good. Tastes great!
