Matt Coldwell

You can't really go wrong with Loulay, unless you're not a fan of French food. It's got a great atmosphere, the location is easy and everything I had was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about what wines to pair with our dinner and had helpful food recommendations.

Theodore Hellmann

Excellent lunch! The cassoulet was amazingly good - definitely worth stopping in for on its own - but the desserts were truly amazing. The ambiance is great, with both upstairs and main level seating. And it wasn’t at all crowded - which is a shame!

Tariq Mufti

Dropped in for drinks and snacks, stayed on till we had several drinks each, and more than a few small plates and dessert. Service was polite, attentive and quick, and as might be expected from a restaurant attached to the Seattle Sheraton, the food and drinks were superb. Planning on going there again to avail of the 'Repeat Customer' discount!

Gary Lachman

Great service. Every dish delicious. Loulay was recommended to us by master chef Brendan O’Farrell, and we are so happy we listened to him. Loulay is one of Seattle’s gastronomic treasures.

Elaine Falangus

Amazing food, great service, beautiful architecture!

Joe Brown

We sat for 15 minutes before a waiter came, but the food was amazing! Get the short ribs.

Kristine Tsantilas

Stopped in for impromptu drinks and small plates. Had a lovely experience. Good wine selection (by glass or bottle), the food was exceptional and the staff were sincerely accommodating with my food allergies. We'll certainly be back again!

Andrew Foster

The food was amazing. And the staff was very attentive. We never went more than a few minutes with seeing our waiter at least go by to check that we had everything that we needed.

Robert Myers

Great food, lovely setting. The special always is - special. The chef in the hat never disappoints.

Alligator Pie

We had dinner before going to a musical at the nearby theatre, and were delighted by the fantastic food, attentive service and warm hospitality. Memorable!

Eric Kang

An interesting place for Sunday brunch, good food, good service

Stefanus Du Toit

Amazing restaurant, especially if you luck out and end up at table #60!

Jamey Leonard

Quite nice bistro with excellent wines. I had duck confit and it was perfect. I was in for an early lunch and bar seating was nice and completely open.... But I got the impression you may need reservations even on weekday afternoons. Price was reasonable and commensurate for the atmosphere/quality of experience. Just over fifty for entre, wine. Also had a really nice espresso. I'd stop in again just for that. If you spy an open table, or have time to make a reso, I highly recommend.

Started with the Gem Salad, incredible dressing and cheese, tasted the Parisian Gnocchi, melted in my mouth, with hazelnuts, the flavor, what an experience. Second dish was the Risotto, beet flavor prepared spectacular, one of the best risotto dishes I have tasted, perfect. Dessert was the Black and White Chocolate entremet, carefully prepared and the passion fruit coulis was outstandingly tasteful, this is a place that must be experienced for its culinary art.

Nico

Honestly outstanding food. We shared a house salad with manchego and vinaigrette, fries with aioli, and risotto with Dungeness crab. Every course was surprising and fantastic but we were floored by the bengiets and smoked almond ice cream we got for dessert. Simply incredible. Partner loved the wine and cocktails and said they were worth a visit themselves. Not cheap, but if you're looking for great tasting food look no further.

Kaitlyn Weinert

The staff at this restaurant were remarkable, the food was unique and delicious, and our experience was memorable. I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Seattle.

Rani Osnat

If you want traditional French bistro cooking that’s very well executed, this is the place. I had the French onion soup which was excellent. The roast chicken was also classically made and juicy. However the accompanying small potatoes were clearly undercooked. I mentioned this to the waiter, which resulted in the manager coming to apologize and remove the dish from my bill. Everyone makes mistakes but this was very well handled, which is a sign of a place that takes pride in quality. I also had the beignets for dessert, and they too were excellent - airy, accompanied by vanilla ice cream and a superb spiced creme anglaise. All in all a positive experience and great food and service.

Andrew Vyskocil

Perfect service. Beautiful dining area. The food is very well done. Creative and delicious.

Christine A Eagleson

I've dined here on several occasions while visiting Seattle, and have consistently received wonderful service. The staff is friendly and accommodating! Best items on the menu are hands-down their Cheese Burger. Best ever. Worth the splurge: Organic Scrambled Egg with Caviar. Afternoon pick me up: Seattle coffee with lavender, served martini style.

Chris Pouliot

4th time or so eating at Loulay. Service is friendly. A little slow to start, but once our entre order was taken, the pace picked up a little. Portion sizes of the entrees varied greatly. Only two scallops in the scallop entre. All the dishes were quite tasty.

Dianna Hobbs

Wasn't really impressed by the New Year's Eve menu. Half of what we ordered was not to our taste, and I was extremely dissatisfied with the portioning of some menu items. My oyster soup had one single oyster in it. I expected the small portions as this is a more upscale restaurant, but at least give me 3 for that price. The wait time to both be seated and served was atrocious. Whom I assume was maitre d was extremely unwelcoming. BUT the other half of what we ordered - that we did enjoy from their short NYE menu - was impeccable. They use really interesting ingredients. I actually recognized a fruit native of Latin America in my dessert dish, which was pleasantly surprising considering I've never seen that particular fruit in the US before now. The drink menu was a mile long, and the drinks were great and again consisting of an interesting combination of ingredients. Our waitress was down to earth and welcoming. We paid 232 and change for 2 four course meals and a few drinks. Will definitely not be returning next new year, but might come back to check out their full menu sometime. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant for us considering the price points and the more polished atmosphere here.

Dan VanVladricken

French cuisine in the heart of Seattle. The food were masterfully done, and everything we had was delicious. Was an amazing experience. Make reservations for 2, and have a romantic French dinner.

Kcmo Cam

Food alone would give four stars—above average but not amazing. Given the price I would have to take down half star, and then slow service takes down another star. Maybe closer to a 3.5

Anne Stanton

Great place to share small plates of awesomeness.

Karl Smith

Fantastic food and great service. Well worth 5 stars. The cocktails and foie gras are my personal favorites. My only complaint is that I wish the menu was more daring, that being said, all the food is very competently done, practically flawless

Jacob Jimenez

Beignets are out of this world! So crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside...perfection. And the crocque madame is a must order.

Wayde Tardif

Great little place. I’ve had a nice lunch here a few times, and have always eaten at the bar where attentive barkeeps mixed magic elixirs.

Lynn Clements

Must go back. Anniversary breakfast- our 30th - as a part of our weekend celebration. French omelette with avocado butter (!) for me, eggs Benedict for my husband. Excellent service! Ashley took such good care of us.

Edwin Chavez

Nice place, not a good experience food wise. I ordered the French Toast which was served luke warm at best, the manager told my that was the kitchens intention. My 1st time having luke warm French Toast, maybe the kitchen should stop intending to do something that does not appeal to all guests, or train the staff to describe the food better.

Mauro Sanna

One of the best cheeseburger I had in Seattle, also the scallops are perfect. The staff is very kind and professional. Great wines and good beers. One of my favorite places in Seattle.

Patrick Green

Exquisite plates. From fish to beef you really can’t go wrong.

Leah Dilbeck

The Quiche de jour was beyond amazing!!!! So luscious and savory! It was Butternut squash, leeks and mushrooms. The staff was very friendly and delightful. We will happily return again & again

Wesley Worman

Food is amazing and the service is fabulous!

Monica Duke

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Service is attentive and each item we ordered was perfectly prepared and nicely portioned. We visited before a show at the Paramount and the server was helpful and focused on making recommendation for number of courses and selections that worked with our timing so that we got to the show on time. Lovely evening at Loulay.

Kwanghoon Jhin

Best service in the town, reasonable price, high quality.

Victoria Albritton

Dining at the bar is the way to go. It's spacious and has the most comfortable chairs. You can have the attention of the bartenders who will happily explain the adventurous and creative cocktails. They serve the whole menu plus a bar menu with different items on it. I love that they are open until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday but be warned that they close at 9pm on Sundays. My favorite after work or lunch combo is the outstanding French onion soup and an order of frites (which I dip in the soup!)

Andrew Brill

I cannot say I notice much of anything very french cuisine on the menu. I did have the Soupe a l'oignon..or French Onion Soup. This was the highlight of my meal. The other items I enjoyed were the Pacific oysters in the half shell..though extremely pricey at 16 for 6. However it came on a plate with some lovely sea salt and other so when putting the shell in my mouth the small dredge of that salt was a great compliment to the wonderful meat that came from the puget sound oysters.

Lois Perez

french food, so delicious. The fool was super appetizing. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. This place has good reviews for a reason.

Alex Van Sickle

Super fancy without being overboard. Gastronomic cuisine for sure. Great friendly service. Amazing interior. Call ahead / make reaervations

Leslie Holladay

Stopped in for lunch. The beef short rib sandwich was juicy, tender and well balanced except for a couple bites where the rosemary was heavy. Cheeseburger was delicious, a little slip slide messy with all the condiments but worth it. The fries are perfect. Rice pudding was ok, a little on the bland side. The black and white entremet was the amazing star. Tart passion fruit offset by creamy white chocolate mousse and dark chocolate glaze. The service was also outstanding once past the slightly snooty hostess.

Celeste Liberty

I had a lovely lunch with my FIL here yesterday. Service was super patient, attentive and kind. We each had a lunch set. I had the soup du jour (a beautiful roasted cauliflower topped with scallions and allium flowers) and the pan-seared halibut, which was so buttery and juicy. FIL had the house salad and duck confit cassoulet, which he also seemed to enjoy. Some might take issue with portion sizes for the price point, but I think it's a very appropriate lunch portion and well worth the price for the quality and experience you get. A great place for an intimate lunch, without feeling rushed. Will definitely be back!

Katharine Bernstein

They have a fabulous menu and great staff. They offer a soup or salad & entree combo for lunch for only $25. We shared a dessert, too, which was a peanut butter ice cream s'more. It was amazing!!!

Jordan Rudd

One of the few legitimately spectacular restaurants left in Seattle. Skip the other Seattle celebrity chefs, and choose the chef in the hat instead, who is likely to come to your table and introduce himself.

David Chao

Great experience from the moment we walked in to the food and service. Would definitely come back when in Seattle again.

Scott Chapman

OK, so I was told we were going to "Chef in the Hat" which sounds quirky and fun. Turns out that's just a tagline for the chef, and you won't find that name anywhere on the building. This is a fairly fancy french restaurant, not something I would normally choose to go to. However, they had a cheeseburger on the menu, and I have to say, it was amazing. Best cheeseburger ever! Fries were excellent as well. So if your companions want to go to the fancy french cuisine place and that's not really your thing, don't worry, they at least have a cheeseburger that's worth going for!

Gamebot Zero

Smell of garlic and cooking meant we left before we were served. Looks nice otherwise.

Novus Zoran

Absolutely superb. Best food of our trip.

Kyle Brown

Pre-Valentines before the show at the 5th Avenue. Great wait staff, seated promptly. Beautiful mussels in the most balanced white wine sauce of my life. The beet risotto was a beautiful surprise. Loved it!

Molly Cornell

For me, this is place falls into the category of, "Hey, we're near Loulay, let's stop in." And it's always turned out to be a great idea. The bar is right when you walk in and, to be honest, that's as far as I've gotten. But that's been great enough, no regrets. If you're someone like me, who loves a truly hand-crafted cocktail made perfect every time, then you'll love this place, too. My favorite is the cocktail called "And the Beet Goes On," made with beet-infused vodka. If you also happen to try the Crab Beignets appetizer, then you have entered into your own little slice of heaven. One last note. I LOVE the staff here! They always seem to offer great suggestions and say just the right thing. I've never witnessed a weak link here.

Saransh Gupta

Great food and drinks! Great Ambience! Definitely fancy!

Christopher Anderson

Always reliably delicious Francophilic fare. And a chance to talk about the Chef in the Hat and his KUOW kitchen-fridge genius.

Zachary Wakefield

Food was excellent (especially the seafood stew), and the staff were all very nice and helpful.

Camilla Sutter

Sweet homey restaurant with delicious food. Meticulously prepared and not overwhelming sizes. Especially enjoyed the banquet seating and the romantic seating up in the balcony. Peanut butter s'mores dessert was outstanding and worth a return trip

reddoggod1969

Great food and amazing ambiance

Randal Ketchem

The food was fantastic, the service attentive, and the desserts amazing. We went before a show at the Paramount and they were very accommodating of our time. We would return.

Kathleen Hillenbrand

The food was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I ordered the short ribs and was glad I did...so good! Be sure to save room for dessert...theirs is amazing!

Stephanie Hawn-Larson

This is one of my and my husband's favorite restaurants in all of Seattle!! We have loved every single meal we have had here. The chef will often give you a small sample taste of what he is working on (this has happened each time we have come). The appetizers are to die for (crab fritters

Melissa Miller

Great menu of cocktails. Nice ambience. By total accident, the bartender knocked over a bottle of liquid. It spilled over the counter, on to my pants, and some of my sweater. All he said was "did it get you?" It was ALL over the counter, obviously spilling over the counter on to me. Enough to soak my thigh//top part of my jeans. Another female bartender was kind enough to get me napkins and a towel and apologize. We were already in the process of leaving and the bartender asks my friend and I "would you like two checks or split down the middle?", still saying nothing about having spilled liquid all over me. As I said in a kind note that I left for him - it's customary to, at minimum, discount my drink or compensate for it somehow when I leave your establishment having had a bartender spill a liquid substance all over my pants. Accidents happen - it's the way you train your staff to handle them that matters.

Chad Sheffield

I waited too long to try this place. Had risotto and cassoulet for lunch at the bar. Amazing food and service. And get the beignets even if you think you're full.

Michelle Beaumont

Real, professional service. Amazing food.

sabrina salinas

This place is awesome and romantic! Reasonably priced for the level of cuisine you get.

Rob McCoy

Excellent service and delectable flavors.

Tim Baccus

Always amazing. Definitely try their craft cocktails

Luke Camery

Exceptional, but expensive even among exceptional spots in Seattle. Great brunch spot though. Service is extremely friendly though slow even when empty. Overall, I've kept coming back for brunch but there are better spots for dinner.

christine sams

We love the interior of this French restaurant. We love the sommelier and the wine selection. Drinks are always the best. The food is exquisite.

Chantal Baxter

Great little whisk(e)y selection and great, fun dessert selection

Monica Luna

Amazing first time experience!! Very friendly environment.

Elias Ibarra

The food was a 3.5 but the service was a 5. The bartender Paul was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, kept out glasses full and a conversation going.

Danielle Mounts

Great food and service. Brunch was delicious. Try the pear crepes.

Farhad Mahmoudi

Great food, great service. Very nice cocktail list. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Really enjoyed my steak and potatoes; make sure to double check with the server about the "chef's selection" cuts so that you know what you're getting. Also had solid oysters from the raw bar.

Kimberly Toombs

Always fun, fresh and the dessert selection is all so delicious.

Bridget King

We came to Loulay Kitchen & Bar on a Friday evening before a show and snagged one of the last available tables without having to wait. The waiter immediately asked if we were going to a show and what time we had to be out of there (I was impressed with this). The table was a little small but we were seated in the bar area, and I was just happy we found somewhere decent to eat without a reservation. I ordered the seared polenta and fries with house aioli. Bread and the risotto were also ordered. The polenta was good, I enjoyed it and would probably order it again. The french fries were good, but the aioli was what made them really enjoyable. Overall, the food quality was pretty good - it didn't blow my mind but I'd likely come back here.

Brent Forder

We had the french toast and an omelette, as well as the cheese plate. The quality of the french toast and omelette was amazing... Maybe the best of each dish we've ever had! The service was friendly but slow and inattentive. The mimosas were delicious. It's also a very posh space. It ended up being the most expensive breakfast I've ever had, and I think the drinks and cheese plate were overpriced. You get what you pay for! Definitely worth a try if you like nice things.

Amber Conklin

I always enjoy Loulay! They changed the menu, which was great because I got to try new things. This place NEVER disappoints! Have the bartender create you a special cocktail.

Jacob Schmitt

Staying in the Sheraton downtown Seattle, this option seemed obvious. What a wonderful choice. Wine list is wonderful, service was exquisite and food....OMG! Crab cakes were to die for, everything we ordered was very good. Our table was next to the window so we could see people outside, walking by! I will come back next year for sure! Great little bar and restaurant next to Sheraton grand. Outstanding mussels. Highly touted cheeseburger was unusual. Great fries and great service

Sarah Kennedy

Delicious food! Our server Roy was AMAZING! He helped us navigate the menu and explained that the 1st, 2nd, 3rd was more about small, medium, large sizes instead of courses. He also helped us find other places in the city to go out and sites to see. I will definitely be back next time! So great!!!

Michael Steiner

Very pleasant ambience. Nice food that's not over the top.

Ken Jones

Exquisite food, as always. I've wondered why there is a cheeseburger on the menu at this fine French restaurant, and finally decided to try it. It belongs on the menu, definitely. A surprising and delicious burger experience that I will go for again. And the French onion soup is better than I had in Paris last spring.

Hitesh Patel

We were a walk in, no reservation but they were able to cater for my sister and me. Great menu and I know I need to come back and try more things. Service was good too. Had the crab beignet for starters, halibut for my main was just the right portion and perfectly cooked and just delicious with the brussel sprouts. My sister had the chicken but the portion was a bit too big for her. We had the baget for sides but the desserts... I have to tell you the pavlova and the panna cotta were just too good. I'd come back for the dessert if nothing else.

Marjorie Butler

french food and the scene at this location is excellent. i love this place always quality food & service. service treated us so kindly. the prices are good for what you get.

Colin Keinath

Good food, service, and wine. One of those rare occasions that you don’t walk away from a restaurant wishing something was different. Staff was wonderfully friendly and service was prompt.

Andrew Jaru

Wonderful brunch place. Everything is perfectly balanced and absolutely tasty. Interior is beautifully designed and staff are all nice and friendly. Had the French toast and croque madame with fries. Sounds heavy, but the way they do it is very light and not too much. It can get busy, so make reservations a few days in advance.

Sean LeFauve

Loved all the food. Every bite was great

Tonjia Linderoth

We sat at the bar as we were killing time before a show. Everything was great, service, cocktails, food and coffee. French onion soup, cheese plate and charcuterie plate were all good. Will be back when in the area.

Sarah B

The food is such an experience! Uniquely done, seems authentic French but I can't really judge that. Loved the French onion soup, sweet and savory beignets, organic chicken and everything at breakfast is amazing. Great place for Mother's day.

Jeffrey Musto

Great service and food , French food with a northwest twist is how it was described to us by our awesome bartender and they hit it perfectly with the atmosphere and food.

Brian Donhauser

Wife had Short Rib Bourguignon, which was the star of the meal. Incredibly tender, flavorful, and balanced. I had the seafood stew, which was a little under-seasoned for my taste. Seared Sea Scallops were perfect. But $24 for 2. A little over-priced. Cheese plate was good. The blue cheese on there was a bit too much for us. Hot chocolate was unremarkable. Not sure why we think we'll ever find one better than Chocolati's :) Staff was friendly and helpful. Fun, lively space.

Panth Shadowclaw

Absolutely amazing food. Impeccable service. And for the quality, amazing prices... If you're in the area you need to find your way here.

Rebecca Kalmakoff

Loulay offers a fantastic and elevated brunch experience. With incredible food, unbeatable, knowledgeable staff and a beautiful space to enjoy, what's not to love. We have visited Loulay for brunch on a few Seattle trips now and are always excited to come back!

Saggio Ricercatore

Expected more. Had heard so much buzz about the “chef in the hat” I think my expectations were too high for Loulay. I have been twice. It was good, but not particularly memorable. Service was good but not great-actually felt like there was too much hovering and interrupting conversation. Waiter spilled a tray of drinks on our table and doused my friend—expected something would be comped, but only replaced the spilled drinks and drenched food. Very conveniently located if one is seeing a play at the ACT theater, but there is a lot of competition nearby so I will likely explore elsewhere next time. Felt a bit overpriced for what we got.

Matt Chase

Very tasty food. I ordered the duck sliders and they were absolutely delicious. A Teensy bit salty but overall very good. Note they're very small, each about the size of a quarter. But you get five of them and it's pretty good start to the meal.

Ich Bin Ein Ann Berliner

I had the brioche French toast, and about the toast itself, I have zero complaints. Crispy and buttery on the outside and soft on the inside - my fave! I just wish it didn't come with so many sweet garnishes/toppings. Mine came with whipped cream, almonds, berries, a sauce, apple compote, and an unnecessarily hefty dump of powdered sugar. Along with that, it STILL came with a side of maple syrup that I didn't even use. Really, you don't need to be so extra with your French toast. It's delicious by itself. May I suggest just a light fruit compote topping and some cream on the side? That's all it needs, if it needs anything at all.

Steffy McFliggles

I didn't know great food till I ate here. Their breakfast is a revelation.

Asoke Papaly

Excellent atmosphere, great food. But their famed $25 poached eggs in a shell is overrated.

Jamie Esplan

Loulay is located close to the Paramount. They asked if we had any time restraints to make sure we weren't late or rushed. This is the quickest we've ever had wonderful gourmet food cooked for us. I felt comfortable being a little undressed, they have a lively bar area and the restaurant is pretty small so I suggest reservations.

Gozaburo RoaNoa

Great for family or dates. This is a great high-end restaurant. Not too fancy but not too casual as well.

Adam Howell

We decided to dine here as we are staying next door. The service was decent, although I asked for a sparkling water that never showed up. The crab beignets were tasty. My wife ordered the salmon, which was to be prepared medium rare, but unfortunately it was overcooked and dry. I ordered the cod, and it was a bit on the fishy side, although the preparation was good. The lentils were aldente and had a nice bite to them, but the mustard and pork belly didn't marry well for some reason -- something was off. We ordered a peanut butter brownie for dessert and it was okay. Every other meal we have had in Seattle during our visit has been delicious. We ate at Matt's in the Market last evening and we were enamored with the entire experience -- so it set the bar high for us. Maybe this was an off night for Loulay.

Henry Figueroa

Great as always! Unassuming fabulous dining and drinks.

Jimmy Barker

Ok.... this experience was absolutely amazing. Our server, Yassine, was incredibly warm, welcoming, enthusiastic, and exceptional. By the end of the meal, he felt like family. Now on to the food. Oh... my... goodness! French GOODNESS!!! We will be here for every visit to Seattle!!!! Absolutely delicious!!!

Dustin Cassar

Stopped in for a glass of wine for great service and wrap around windows to people watch.

Chris Koehncke

Excellent. Old school restaurant menu and service. Nice presentation. Solid execution. Foie Gras, Short ribs. crab beignets, fresh scallops - all excellent. Worth a return visit. Relatively expensive but value for $$$.

Nancy McCoid

Great food and service, a little pricey

Nicole Iorio

Breakfast was amazing - some of the most perfectly cooked eggs I've ever tasted. I do owe my knowledge of proper egg cookery to the chef - he was on KCTS Cooks a few years back and gave the best tip ever - LOW and SLOW! Cocktails could've used a bit more alcohol is my only critique. Prices are high but adequate for quality and location.

William Hodack

Excellent service. The decor is very nice. Food originality and quality was above average but not excellent. The wait time to receive our order was extremely long (including dessert), which I found odd because the restaurant was only 30% full. Also they seem to have an electrical problem because the overhead lights were flickering for 5+ seconds at a time and it happened multiple times during the evening, which was distracting. Almost like someone was rapidly flipping the light switch on purpose.

Marina Gerges

Excellent service, delicious food. Overall a lovely place to be.

Cindy Walnetski

Another favorite in Seattle. Great staff. Love this drink.

T Greene

It was delicious. The flavors were perfectly matched, and there was no one overwhelming flavor, just bliss. No acquired tastes, anyone would love it. Service was excellent, too. Quick with the entrees, no waiting for someone to notice us if we had a question or anything, just prompt, enthusiastic service. All in all, it was the best tasting meal of my life. 10/10 would wholeheartedly recommend.

david mahowald

Love the food and great service

Frank Hoyer

Great French cuisine. Fresh and delicious meals and drinks. Nice ambiance and great place to go with friends and family.

Nola_Belle

I read a lot of reviews before going here and unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant (for dinner). For the price and location, there are far better options in Seattle. The French onion soup was too sweet and was more like an onion stew than a soup- Very little broth, mostly large pieces of onion, and it was too sweet. The wine was nice. But they didn't make it. Their drink, And the beet goes on... Was far too acidic and not very good. I'm a big fan of vodka and beets. Maybe they need to use a better vodka? Not sure, but the drink tasted cheap. The entrees were nothing amazing. We had the risotto dish (beets, crab, etc) and the roasted chicken. The flavors and overall components seemed amateur. The ingredients used and the ratio of things was completely off. We ordered dessert, hoping things would end better, but nope! Overall I would give the food 2 stars. The atmosphere is nice, the service was good. Our waiter was fun and very knowledgeable, but he had an attitude of "why are you here" lol Overall, I would not recommend Loulay for dinner.

Caitlin Hanson

Wonderfully prepared, thoughtful food and a welcoming environment. Service was absolutely incredible. Went in right after shopping for wedding dresses and they helped to celebrate with us. It was such a treat and truly enjoyable!

Victoria Wilging

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service

Dawn Black

EVERY SINGLE TIME we go there for lunch before going to a musical at the 5th Avenue Theater the food and service are always amazing! Try their: homemade sausage and bacon, French toast, and Farmers Plate, you'll love it!

Patrick Harding

This place rocks. The dishes are portioned just right and the half chicken is a must have. The staff is outstanding!!! If have not been there go, plus a great data place.

Valerie Tormey

I didn't like the food. The waiter didn't understand timing of people being on a romantic date. It felt like it was trying too hard.

Srimal De Silva

The food is good but expensive. The staff is very nice, specially the bartender. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner.

Umang Gupta

Excellent ! Located inside Sheraton hotel, staff is welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, French choices. Although, a fine dinner within a big hotel, price reflect accordingly. Treat yourself if feel like.

Lauren McLarnon

I would 10/10 would not recommend the chicken. It looks like guts. Not worth the money. You get very little meat on the chicken.

Steven Salinas

Fantastic flavors. Great atmosphere.

Rob Hussey

Simply amazing. I have high standards when it comes to eating out, and my experience at Loulay tonight easily places it among my all-time favorites. The flavors were remarkable and the service matched the quality of the food. I am a visitor to Seattle and I can guarantee that I will be back.

C. Emily Shea

My favorite upscale place to eat downtown. Incredible service.

Nancy Hunt

French food... super satisfying. The service was very welcoming and sociable. It has a nice atmosphere. Food and feeling reminds me of Kansas City.

Jordan Field

This place was extremely expensive, for food that wasn't all that great. Don't get me wrong, it was good, and if you're looking for some "different flavors", it's a good spot because they do things like put balsamic vinegar on French toast. It's definitely different, and classy, but feels like it's really trying to be that. Oh, I also left still hungry after paying $22 for French toast, so that's something to consider, too.

CKM

Nice clean place and friendly/attentive staff. Food was alright. Dont really feel as tho I got my moneys worth of our meal. The two dollar sign under reviews is misleading. For both of our meals, one drink each, we paid over $140 for the two of us. 3 dollar signs is more like it, but then again it is in Seattle.

Diana Sonnenburg

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The seared scallops were delicious as was the white chocolate dessert. Friendly staff too.

Abhishek Kashyap

The bartender makes perfect cocktails. Their house salad is amazing, so is the halibut. For a French restaurant, the hot chocolate is not good enough.

Tanvi Raman

Mind blown. Best French food I’ve ever had. The French onion soup was ridiculously good especially if you like cheese then this is cheese freakin galore. I had the 3 course set menu for $30 . Worth every penny. The crab risotto was spectacular. My friend had the chicken which was excellent too. I ended the my visit with the spicy beignets. So good!!!! The ambience here is perfect for brunch/ a date. I’m sure it’ll look beautiful at night too. Can’t wait to go back here on my next trip to Seattle .

One of the best eateries in Seattle. For lunch or dinner - you can't go wrong here. Loulay has a very pleasant ambiance, great food, great service and very reasonable prices.
