Are you kidding me?? Folks, you must not remember the family like atmosphere with more than a spoonful of tequila in $12 margaritas. They're using the smallest tortillas for enchiladas, I actually ate all my meal (and I have a small appetite) and the meals are a minimum of $12. It feels like the meals cost double since my last visit 3 months ago. Go to Taco Time if you want a better Taco Salad... I want to finish with something positive. They had a Mariachi band...

The service was very poor I had to get somebody's attention each time I wanted to order something or to even get our check. the nacho Supreme was sorely lacking in condiments there were very few olives on it, just couple of tomatoes pieces, a little bit of guacamole and sour cream that was about the extent of it. The old place, the nachos were covered in olives and tomatoes and there weren't even any jalapenos so if this is the way the service and the food's going to be we probably won't be back and we are frequent customers to the old place we will miss it.

La Palmera had nice atmosphere but that's really the only thing it had going for it. The service was kinda slower compared to most restaurants like it. The food was pretty uninspired and bland. For uninspired food it was expensive and the portion size was small. I've had way better home style Mexican food for a lower price. For the rating it has I was expecting so much more

This establishment is great for many reasons. The first is obvious, their food is good but what stands out to me is they have employees that are loyal to the company. It's nice to go back after any given time and recognize the staff.They are friendly but most of all, they're all a bunch of pranksters! Br careful fir repelling gag spiders ! One might land on your shoulder! Or watch out for that clumsy waiter that ALMOST spills a cup of coffee on you ! Its all in good fun and reminds us all to laugh a little. We can all use a little more laughter in our lives!

Wonderful family restaurant. We have been going to lunch here on sundays for 13 years and we never regret it. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. The food is delicious. The margaritas are large. Love it here.

Delicious food, great service. The carnitas are amazing and the corn tortillas are the BEST I have ever had. Also love that they had the gluten free items clearly marked on the menu. My only wish would be for a paper kids menu with crayons, but the chips came out so fast that entertaining the kiddo wasn't a problem. Highly recommend!

Consistently good, and everyone is always fun and friendly! Love this place! Tried the Mill Creek one last year and it just wasn't the same. This one's not as 'fancy', but the food tastes better and the staff is just always wonderful.

We showed up at 11:30 pm on our way home from a Mariners game. The place was packed and hopping with everyone enjoying drinks and food. The service was great, but the 10 piece Mariachi band that performed for the 1 1/2 hours we were there were the best part. They performed their hearts out!

The food was good and I liked that they had a decent selection of vegetarian options. The specifically call out that they cook the vegetarian rice with vegetable broth which is unusual to see on the menu but helpful. Service was good, attentive without being obtrusive. So why only 3 stars? The prices outpaced both the location and the singularity factor. The flavors we're good but nothing unusual in an enchilada. Given that, why wouldn't I pay less somewhere else? If you're close and hungry, it's worth it but perhaps not to travel for.

Good food, but its overpriced now ,in my view, we went on a Friday night and there was hardly anyone there , in the past la palmera was packed on weekends, and now they are moving across the street on Airport road in a building where several restaurants have failed there, I'm worried about la palmera, is this the beginning of the end ? Time will tell, but at 18- 20+ bucks a plate they are way to expensive . This is a far cry from the Keg steakhouse or Anthony's seafood, which are upscale restaurants.

The service tonight was so bad. I was in La Palmera Friday and they got me a single when I asked for a double. Never again will I question the bartender. Today, the same bartender told my waitress about me complaining about my drink on Friday. She was scarce. She didn't come our way at all. The kicker was the bartender refused to make my drink and the bus boy had to do it 2 times through. I originally loved La Palmera, but now I don't want to go there ever again. This was on Center St in Everett.

It was good, but not great, and a little overpriced for that quality. Maybe it was just an off day, but I went with my wife and sister, and that was the consensus around the table. We may try again at some point, but it's a little far from home, and we only went that far because we had a coupon.

First time visiting La Palmera and we don't plan on returning. The service was slow and minimal. We were seated right by the door so we could see the staff chatting with each other, not busy. The food was average to below-average. Our child had a quesadilla and the cheese was congealed. She didn't eat much of it, since it didn't look like the quesadillas we make fresh at home. Realized after we left that her meal was supposed to include a drink and she wasn't offered one. Prices were high and we didn't feel like we mattered at all.

So to start this off, I attempted to order a taco plate that consisted of 3 different types to proper judge to food. But was harshly told that its impossible. Food came out quickly. Beans not refried. Kind of cool. Rice average and not a wow. Now the steak tacos. Texture okay flavor bland. No kick

Tried the new location we went to the old location all the time. Staff was very friendly as always but it seems a few things have changed the drinks seem weak they are known for their cadillac margaritas old place 1 would be enough that wasnt the case this time it just seemed weak. The food didnt have the same quality as across the street at the old place.

I'm an avid lover of chips and salsa, and I've tried many of the salsas from local Mexican restaurants. La Palmera is my favorite, by far.. Great flavor, and heat levels are just right. I have placed numerous take out orders solely for a bag of chips with 16oz of salsa, and I don't see an end in sight. As for the rest of the food, I'm satisfied. Haven't dined in for some time..

Overall I liked the place. Decent menu, one of few places that I went to that know how to make flautas. Basically rolled corn tacos but use flour tortillas instead. Healthy portions. Beans and rice tasted a little flat, crispy and off. Guessing we got the last batch of the night since we came in just an hour before close. Liked the atmosphere, employees overall seemed nice but shouldn't assume because we aren't Latino that we can't understand them complaining in Spanish about us comin so late. Horchata I liked. Most everything had a great flavor. Will definitely go back just will try to go earlier. Also some word advice. If you sit down and hear loud creaks, no your not that large or heavyi and didn't break the benches or chairs. They all just sound that way. I think that's part of the whole authenticity

Omg. Home made tortillas. Watch them made if you like, but good grief are they delicious. Best ordered there so they are hot and fresh. Personally I enjoyed many of their taco selections but the rest of my party ordered other items off the menu that all looked delicious. Come with your appetite if you order a burrito! The dining room is open to all, but the carpet does help with noise control. If you have hearing issues I'd stay in the dining room and not the bar. Great customer service from the staff makes this place a favorite.

I learned I'm not a fan of shrimp burritos, but I feel that's my personal taste and not a reflection of the food quality. TERRIBLE !!First time my boyfriend went here ended up throwing up 1 hour later . We both went tonight because nothing else was open and I got my steak tacos and the meat was the most disgusting meat I have ever tasted in my life . It tasted like it wasn’t steak at all . Tasted like processed old microwaved ground beef. Neglectful service . I take my food to go because I didn’t want to seem rude for not eating it all and I left it on the corner of the resturaunt because there was no point in bringing it home and not even 5 minutes later we see a RAT go and try and eat our food . So so disgusting and awful pls just don’t waste your money or time
