You must have seen that it has an average rating is really good, and it's founded on a very large number of reviews, so we can say that the assessment is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Hamburger restaurant.
Been going here for 40 years. The food certainly isn't the healthiest in town but it is really yummy and always the same. It is generally busy during meal times but in the off-hours the wait is pretty short
I stood next to a dude with his wife. He was wearing a "I like Thick Girls" shirt. Then another guy came in shouting about how he's going to "get all them burgers." Then a guy rode by in his motorscooter, playing a patriotic jingle. The burgers are super cheap and tasty. This place is awesome and unites us as a country.
I love going to Dick's when I am in Spokane. So much better than the ones in the Seattle area. Over there they refuse to leave anything off of their burgers. My girlfriend doesn't like all the stuff they put on them. They will not do just a plain burger so she never wants to eat there.
You want cheap food deep fried? This is the best place you can get that. Very reasonable prices.
Its been while since we ate here. They take credit/debt cards now. Food used to be better and cheaper. I'd just go to any other fastfood for the same quality and price
Always good food. Quick service. Never received a messed up order.
Not what it used to be. I think a renovation (through my decrease & upgrade the kitchen, we can see right into it!) and a property cleanup would do wonders for business.
That was the best burger I have ever had...thank you guys for the quick service and the epic burgers!!! Yall rock
Love there whammies & tarter said
Iconic restaurant in Spokane, always a must. They don't waste money on hair nets, linen service, or hand soap so they pass the savings on to you!
Great food at a great price with a 1950s vibe. Tasty burgers, fantastic fries, and yummy shakes!
The girl with tattoos was really nice and very fast on getting my order
Love the large fish n fries my fav
Food is always wonderful and greasy but the older women with gray hair needs to be fired. She cannot remember simple orders and makes mistake after mistake leading to a comically slow line on one side with the teenagers flying through orders left and right.
Kind of slow service, however great food
Cheap and fun place to get some good burgers! I try to swing by whenever I'm passing through Spokane on my way to Colville area. Nice large coverage area to wait/eat in. Also never have trouble finding a parking spot. Highly recommend!
Even on days it's crazy busy the ability of the servers to remember the orders is admirable. Add great prices with excellent food and this is a favored stop. Feeding 6 people, including 4 teenagers, for under $50 can be a stretch. The last visit had six drinks of varying sizes, three orders of fries (I love their fries), three ice creams, numerous burgers and one order of fish. The fish is great, but the one caveat is that it really needs salt and lemon. The lemon does not seem to come automatically so don't forget to ask for it. The tarter sauce is good and I always ask for extra.
Always great burgers but just like everything the price is on the rise.
Great burgers! The place is classic, it's like a step back to 1950- great shakes (can't decide if strawberry or vanilla is my fav), fabulous fries, great burgers and a little known secret is the delicious fish and chips!
I liked Dicks alot more in the 80's & 90's, when you could get a whammy lg fry & a shake for about $5. The whammy has shrunk over the years...should be call the wimpy. Also they no longer allow paying customers to use the restroom, thanks to all the junkies ruining things for everyone.
Great food and awesome vibe, I've been going here for many years and still love it!
Been going for years and my family enjoys the shakes.
Quick service especially when you see how many people go through here in an hour.
Can always depend on quick service and good just the way I like it.
Root beer shake and a whammy. Toss that in the tank and enjoy what follows. Really any shake is sure to satisfy your urges. Treat yourself
Forever will be a favorite of mine. Can never go wrong with a whammy some frys and a strawberry banana milk shake. Or is that just me.
What a great ECONOMICAL burger joint! It's as close to in n out here in Spokane. Enjoy!
Amazing experience, order was placed fast, food was prepared even quicker. Will definitely be coming back to this joint! If you are new in town I would definitely recommend the experience, it will take you back to the 60's!!!
Great local grease spot. However! If you were looking for goop and lettuce on your burger and natural cut fries, this is not the place! This is the original Dick's but the original is keeping it original as compared to the Seattle sequels. Different menu and different food completely but it was still pretty good!
Burgers are small, the shakes and fries are good but for $8 not enough. People behind counter were great since this was my first time. I'm southern girl, I need big burgers.
Not the same as i remember it from a year ago...great service...adequate food.
The prices are good for the food you get. Cool atmosphere. Love the old drive in feel. Not the greatest burgers, but a decent value.
Always a favorite. Their fish is always hot and the wammies are the same as always with the exception of prices going up due to inflation
Excellent service and grate Spokane experience. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Spokane.
Great prices and great food. Kinda sketchy area though and it's cash only.
They have, excellent service and Food is reasonable prices and yummy choices
Always awesome and affordable
Love this place! It's been around for decades and the prices are so reasonable! The whammy, fries and onion rings are so good! And there shakes are awesome! Diverse atmosphere!
I have been eating here my WHOLE LIFE. This place is AMAZING and has never changed. Every time I come home I HAVE to stop by and grab a Whammy, fries, and a shake.
Not sure the nostalgia is worth another visit. Burgers were dry service mediocre, and they forgot part of my order
The wammy was good but the fries were hard...I love the tarter sauce
The food is always fresh and tasty. I would have given it five stars if I wouldn't have had to wait for more than five minutes to order. Not super fast for a fast food place, but the food and prices make it worth the wait.
Been going here since I was a kid always ordering pizza and fries and putting fries on the pizza ..also there blackberry milkshake is amazing
So yummy. Get the whammy. And a milkshake (peach or cherry). Also the tartar sauce is great. And the fries! Omg. A little bit of a sketch area. But worth it.
Good food decent prices. Friendly staff.
Love this place! I've been to this one and the Seattle location and Spokane's is superior, more choice options. Love their hamburgers and always stop in when I'm in town.
If you can imagine an affordable downtown burger hut that has stood the test of time, then you'll get what you're expecting.
I heard great things about this place but it is Honestly just your regular burger joint
Great place. Taste great with good prices. Worst part is other customers.
Food was ok but homeless drug addicts everywhere. Very sad.
Place was decent, BUT..the young man that took our order, had an amazing customer service. We mentioned that it was our first time, he did a run down on the whole menu without looking at it.
I love the food it's always a great cheap burger! However on my last visit there was a blonde lady with a nose piercing and glasses who was EXTREMELY rude. I asked for tarter sauce and a straw and she threw them at me and she was yelling at people not because we couldnt hear her she was just being a huge jerk! Other than her it's always a good experience and very nostalgic.
Flavorful AF! Tried tartar sauce for the first time(A Whole New World) mixed it with a little ketchup and best fry sauce I've ever had. :) Burgers juicy. fries soft, I will be coming back!!!!
Always fast service!!! We ordered 2 Whammys and fries, and recieved them in just 2 minutes! Everything was hot and fresh!!! I would definitely recommend to any visitors of Spokane, and especially my fellow locals! Great food, great service!
Especially if your on the run. The people were wonderful, the food amazing, not to much waiting, even though it was real busy. It's a great place to go, not to expensive,
Loved this Hot Spot, lol it was great food and great drinks. Can't ask for more in a place like this.
I have always loved Dicks burgers since childhood. Their shakes are as good as ever, as well as the frnch fries. But the burgers have lost some of there greatness though the years. But still worth the stop when ever possible, especially since they started taking cards for payment.
Amzes me how they don't write anything down, yet still get it right. Brand X can't even get it right when reading it off a screen.
Cheap and delicious! The people watching is good also.
Love the fish and chips. Think they are the best in the city. Hard to beat the fresh french fries. Never frozen
Great food. Quick service also
Their food there is good been going there my whole life last time I went there I was a little shocked when a guy yelled at me saying the lines back here buddy. I responded to him I've been doing here all my life and there has never been a line you just got to get up an order yes you be courteous to other people ask them have you ordered yet they will respond yes or no and then the cashier will yellow out I can take your order now you run up there and place your order that's how it works it's unorganized chaos and I like it
Great burgers! Love the tartar on my fries!
Their food is just as greasy and delicious as always. That goes for their corn dogs as well as for their burgers. Members of our car club showed up unexpected one day and they accommodated us with a smile!
Every time I go downtown I always have to stop here. It’s a classic. Amazing prices answer great, simple food
Dicks is a classic burger joint, Centrally located in Downtown Spokane. Up until recently, they only took cash but thankfully now they accept card. There is no inside dining so make sure you are dressed appropriately in inclement weather. Their burgers are good and cheap, perfect for a quick bite. I think their shakes are also noteworthy. The way they take orders is a little unorthodox, people basically just stand around in a disorderly fashion and move to the counter when ready to order. I give it 4 stars simply because they have no inside seating.
Food has been the same since it opened prices went up though still a pretty good deal
A Spokane mainstay! Always a great place to grab a burger, chicken or fish basket. Tartar sauce is the best, fries are to die for
I absolutely love their fries! The price was pretty decent.
Loved the vintage vibe. Food was the same as it was 35 years ago. Perfect
Fish was dry, fries were cold and hard. Hamburger and shake was good though.
My husband eats here now and then He loves loves the burgers
GOT TO BE MY FAVORATE FAST FOOD PLACE IN SPOKANE !!!
The burgers are pretty basic, but I ordered a basic burger. I've heard the bigger ones are better. The interesting part about this place is the price. I bought two burgers and two shakes and spent $9. It is close to the old school numbers on the sign.
Great food. Good prices
I love the old school feel... obviously a Spokane institution complete to the cash only and the service. Was a fun throwback so long as you're not in a hurry. Food was subpar. About equal to a mickie D cheeseburger but not as tasty and very dry. Cost was about 30% too high against what you received. And Hunts ketchup? Yuck. It was good to say I went but probably not something I would crave or go back to.
As always a great place to bring the kids and grandkids for a quick meal
Quick eats at a cheap price. Easy on/off freeway for my truck driver hubby. Food is good too, even if you change it up from burgers to a chicken sammy or the fish/fries combo(personally my fave).
Great burgers especially the whammy. Prices went up because of the minimum wage increase but still good and fast service.
Great food and fast service glad you can use cash and e debit now
Fast friendly great food and drinks. I recommend malt shake!
Great when u have a cravings and u like chicken and shakes that taste great and will make u feel full. I do enjoy there fries and mixed shakes.
A Spokane must visit classic walk up restaurant with mis century vibe
Not a good experience. Been out of State for over ten years and wanted to reunite with Dick's. Waited for 2o min. For a pizza and fries. I guess I will wait another 10 years and try again .
Their food is great but, at this location it's not clean. Flies and trash are everywhere and a lot of seagulls are around begging for your food. I get it's outside but the tables and the area just isn't clean and that's not good in my opinion. It also attracts interesting people and I don't know if that's because of the area or not. There was a guy, shirtless and his pants were hardly able to stay up with a knife on him and a woman who looked like she's been doing meth for the past 10-20 years. So, I don't reccommend staying here to eat.
Great food great prices. Nice atmosphere.
It's gross deep fried fast food that everyone around here thinks is so much better than it really is because it's a local thing. The fries are soggy and the burgers aren't original at all. The only things worth while to get is the malts. Otherwise stay away unless you want diabetes from truck stop level food and dining. If Vinny is there that him to a burger or fries. He's a good enough guy.
Chanced upon this burgers etc fast food near the freeway in Spokane. We saw people in line and tables with families having dinner. A popular local eatery they said. Service was great, guy at the window who took my order was patient and guided me with what’s popular on their menu and better deal with what we had in mind. Several choices I’ve noticed. Freshly made sandwiches. We had a tray of chicken tenders, fish sandwich, burgers that came with fries and milkshake. The sandwiches seemed juicier than McDonald’s. All for under $14.
Best burger EVER! Bring on the whammy and fries! The tarter sauce with fries is the best! I don't know where to start with the shakes.
Delicious hot small hamburgers n very Hot fries. Shakes were not thick as i like -- more like drinking a chocolate milk. Service is quick n polite.
Delicious inexpensive food quite busy but worth the wait
This was a fun experience. I'd been to walk ups before but this is a Spokane icon. Great staff, decent food and super retro cute.
It's a good reasonably priced place to get a hamburger fries and a shake
Onion rings were delicious! Rest of the food was like McDonalds. Very cheap. But the price is super cheap too.
The Whammy was a little cold, but tasted excellent
I remember when my dad would take us here I thought it was the best ever
Good food and fast service. However, I found it difficult to get to there and hard to park since their parking lot is so small.
It's Dick's, what can I say. It's a classic. Food: 2 Whammys and Large Fries w/ diet Coke Fantastic greasy burger with fantastic greasy fries. I actually didn't feel like throwing up given the lack of greasy food I've had recently! Atmosphere: Not the best but not enough to take a star off. It looked clean and well kept. Spokane's finest classic. Overall: Need a burger? Support this place rather than a chain fast food joint. Fantastic food for a reasonable price.
Always fresh, which takes a while, but shouldn't take as long as it does. Food is a great bang for your buck. Just give yourself extra time for dinner before an event.
If you don't love a big bag of Dick's burgers shoved down your facehole with your fries then there's something wrong with you. Ice cream shakes in literally every flavor ever discovered, half-chicken, fried fish fillet and awesome attitude. What the heck else are you looking for? Get in, get out. Dick's.
This is a great restaurant to visit if you are in Spokane. As far as I know, it is the only one. The food is similar to McDonald's. The prices are good. There is no inside sitting, so you have to eat outside, or in your car. The employees are friendly and remember all of your items without writing anything down or punching anything on it register.
Good old fashioned burger joint ! Fast friendly service . i enjoyed sitting out front while eating my meal .. If you like sea gulls .. They are more than happy to eat what you toss to them
Quick cheap yummy burgers, when tight on cash. Love the milk shakes! The French fries are always hot. I like supporting businesses that do extra for there employees, I was told they help there employees with college tuition. But I was disappointed that they don't allow there employees to have tips at this location.
Ok the name had me thinking it’s like the Dicks on capital hill. & I’m talking burgers not men’s Winnie sticks. Tho I wish I was:) It was definitely not what I had imagined. Tho I always enjoy a surprise.
This little hamburger place was in Spokane Washington. I was on vacation visiting my grandkidswe stopped in there because we had the kids and they had outdoor eating. The prices were great and the burgers were the kind that run down your arm when you take a bite of him you need a hundred napkins. I would highly recommend this to anybody going through Spokane from the airport it was a good place to eat and the outside eating was nice.
The workers there arent the brightest. Ive been going here my entire life but lately it takes waaaay too long to get your food. Plus the prices are out of control. Go to Wendys and get a 4 for 4 in way less time. It used to be a better establishment. I no longer even like going there because of how slow it is. We usually drive right on by and go elsewhere. Only stopped because there was no line and it still took forever. It used to be cheap but no longer. When your feeding 5 people its cheaper to go to wendys. If you feel this review was helpful please press the thumbs up button. Thanks.
It's Dick's, what more can you say. Everything is amazing, and cheap, the only bummer is that it's in a sketch part of town. But what isn't a sketch part of town in Spokane, it's going to the dogs. BJT, if you are rolling through (which you should, don't stop) it's right off the freeway and is too good to pass on.
Food was good, but too many pan handlers.
What can I say, good classic burger joint
Good inexpensive burgers go here every time we are in Spokane
The buns where very old but the meat was good
Being going there since the 70's. Starting to get expensive. Still good food.
Dick's is got the beef is very good and I love the fries and the fish is awesome to I've been going there for for 20 years
Fast, friendly and good food for so cheap. Best milkshakes
Love the place fast service and great wonderful food
Great prices great food for what they offer, just wish the location was better for various reasons
Delicious burgers taste like right off the grill, shakes and chicken too and good prices
Even though the food is no longer cheap, it is still worth the money. I like the unique experience of ordering and the variety of items they sell. If not overcooked the fries are amazing, though the kids feed most of them to the birds
Love the food but everytime I eat here I have the shitz for the next 2 days
Honestly, they might have the best burgers in town. Great price, they are a little small but so goood! Beware of the birds tho lol I got pooped on last time
Best burgers & shakes made exiting the i-90 off ramp.
Awesome service and great grub! This place is totally worth checking out if you have a hankering for some "greasy bag" type food. Don't miss out on the shakes as well!
Good cheap food although always a bit unnerving to visit here on our out of state adventures. No public bathrooms except side street portapotty's and in a not so hot area. However comma screaming bladders and sketchy area aside, their burgers are so worth it!
Greatest greasy spoon in Spokane !! Try the bone in chicken, it won't disappoint.
Awesome food with impressive customer service
The burgers are the best I have ever had but the area were it located is kinda run down
Have nonidea if this is a historical place or what. Fun, fast and kinda retro. Also, the prices are dope!
Dicks is a great place to get cheap food. Everything on the menu is dirt cheap. Definitely a good place to stop after a night downtown or while out with some friends.
My 1st time and it reminds me of the good ol days.
Love this place great food best tartar sauce you well ever have and authentic service based off memory not computers but the prices have been slowly inflating even here its sad too see too because i remember when you could feed two people with ten dollars and you would be satisfied till the next meal if not the rest of the day but now your lucky to feed one person off ten dollars and that used to be the reason the parking lot was always full and you had a well appreciate wait for your food now the place looks dead half the time. Like i said though amazing food and never think just because the one in Seattle has the same name that it is the same i rather eat a rat burger than eat at Dicks in Seattle they have this thing about mustard that disgust me and they wont allow any substitutions its nasty believe me stick to Dicks in Spokane its the only one there should be
The staff here was AMAZING!!! I got to take my son for the first time in his life, can't believe he made it to 8 without having a Dick's burger! They were so fun and helpful! Had no issue with giving him EXTRA EXTRA pickles for his burger too! I got a chocolate & peanut butter milkshake (again, no problem by the staff having 2 flavors). Service was quick and ordering was a breeze! Can't wait to come back!! 10/10 would recommend!! Come on it’s a PNW Landmark!
Totally delicious burgers n fries !!! I've been going here for over 35 years and they have the best burgers in town !!!
Burgers that my husband got were delicious, but I paid for my burger but wasn’t given it. Also our servicer has an attitude and maybe that’s why she forgot my burger.
Good food. Great prices
Good prices, and always someone to talk to while you're waiting.
Always great. Delicious food, just what we're looking for in a fast food joint. Service was above expectations. Late at night the girl was kind, funny, and efficient. Go Dicks!
Dick's Burgers is way better than McDonald's and has really cheap prices. Their fries are some of the best I've ever had and their shakes are really good aswell. My go to meal at Dick's is three number 4s, large fry, large coke, and strawberry shake.
Great place for a quick bite! Burgers were great, although small so make sure you order a quarter lb or larger if you dont want a kids size burger. Corn dogs and pizza were good for the kids!
