A Seattle staple! Service is amazing here, those kids really work their butts off! We mainly come here for the ice cream sundaes. But I hear the burgers are good for fast-food burgers as well as the fries!

Dick's is amazing. A must for late nights and good for large groups of people always ( remember only Queen Anne location has an inside restaurant) There are no special orders on the burgers BUT you can buy plain burgers and all of the toppings you want separate! Great people to meet in line every time you're there

Very good food at a very reasonable price. Note they do not make special accommodations on their menu to assure "instant service." I'm not one for oixles myself but didn't insist and it actually turned out relatively well. Would recommend this place - I will say Queen Anne can be a bit scary at night (just the atmosphere) so if you're walking I'd stay vigilant. Everything I've read personally says otherwise but it I'd recommend that you stay alert.

I love coming here almost all of the time after school because it is delicious. Last time I went here, I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake and I was definitely not disappointed. I also brought my friend along with me who said that it was her first time going to Dick's. She said she loved it and that her favorite part was her chocolate milkshake. Another reason why I would recommend coming here is because the prices are pretty cheap.

There's no place like Dick's , great freshly made fries with Tartar sauce in little plastic single use cups. The kinds o Hamburgers we ate in the 1960s. Generous Ice cream cones for only a dollar and a half. Milk shakes from hard scooped icecream. Tap your Ruby slippers together and say" there's no place like Dick's there's no place like Dick's..."

A deluxe with onions and mustard, with those gorgeous fries, is one of the best fast food burger experiences one can have. Eat it there, standing up at the counter, to get them at their best, but even after steaming in a bag on the drive home it's seriously delicious.

Let's start with the basics. This place gives you no choice to your burger, they're all premade sitting under a heat lamp. The frys are the same, cold and soggy. I hate to say this, but McDonald's is actually better. The dead eyed child confused about taking my order was no real winner either. This place is just terrible, that is if you like food.

The burgers are delicious. The beef quality is spectacular for the price and it’s got this old world drive brought feel and charm. The fries are hand cut and made from real potatoes but the were also soggy and grease drenched. Will not order again. You have to pay extras for ketchup (ridiculous!)

It's Dick's. You know what it is. At 1:45am after the bar it's an amazing gift to your mouth. Sober and clear headed on a weekday afternoon is another story. Hot lettuce is always a bad idea, and scraping it off also loses some of that cheese or spread, and the whole thing still kinda tastes like hot lettuce. Maybe I'm doing it wrong by getting the Deluxe... The fries are pretty good to actually great depending on the day and the shakes are decent. Those two things alone are enough for my continued patronage, but the reasonable prices and excellent wages (especially for high school and college kids) are truly what keep me coming back.

Dicks has some of the cheapest, most delicious burgers, fries, and shakes that Seattle offers. Keep in mind that you cannot add special instructions to your order. This is how they produce yummy food with good ingredients at such an amazingly low price.

Well, for the area, I guess it's good. My granddaughter had been living in the area for a few months and went there often. No place to sit and I guess they have security issues. Burger was small and not memorable and the milk shake was runny. $16 for 2 sm burgers, 2 small shakes and 1 sm fry...but granddaughter says that it's par for that area of Seattle. Should have been $8 for what we were given. Didn't like the sauce they used on the burger and it was cold

The burger patty is very juicy. The burger by itself doesn't have a lot of flare. I guess it doesn't really need to be because of their peppered bacon. It's crispy and crunchy on the outside, but it's tender and juicy on the inside. You would think it's hard at first bite, but it almost melts in your mouth. The bacon is crusted with peppercorn so you get a kick of that peppery goodness. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask for a fried egg.

It's local burger place that makes a great burger for a low cost. The burger has crunchy shredded lettuce and tomato with two patties, can't forget cheese, it makes it nice and thick when you bite into it. Add the mandatory french fries that Dicks hand cuts. No, really. Add french fries. If you're one of those high calorie burners you'll be able to look at the shakes too. And they make theirs from scratch. No goo oozing machine there. Hand-dipped is what they call it. Even in the Seattle rain people line up for a Dick's hamburger.

Dicks Drive In is somewhat of a burger joint and it is soo so delicious. I've been there 3 times and got a burger, fries and a shake once a float once and water once. The shame was delicious, the float was delicious and the water was... well water. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area of the place. They have several locations in WA. They also have a $0.19 burger on their anniversary. The burger is... well 19 cents and the rest is the normal price. The burger is a little bigger than McDonald's burgers but as big as some of Wendy's burgers. Seriously, look it up, go there, and see for yourself and taste on how good there food is.

Epitome of *fast* food. The lines were long, but service was very quick -- you get your food right when you order. There is a small area right outside the ordering windows to stand and eat your food. Ordered the Dick's Special and fries; was initially disappointed because the serving looked small, but it was actually just the right amount. That said, bigger eaters should probably order the deluxe (two 1/8lb patties and cheese). Liked that the food tasted fresh.

The food itself is decent enough and the pricing is good, but what you're actually buying here is the Seattle experience. This is a Seattle icon and there's no busier place on a weekend night than the Capitol hill Dick's. You get a real mix of people in lines a dozen deep waiting for burgers they fondly remember from their childhood. There is no service as it's all take out and no drive through, but they have a pretty decent sized parking lot especially when you consider that it's on Capitol hill.

Right across the street from Capital Hill station, Dick's Drive-in is the only place for blocks with its own off street parking.

This place is an above-average fast burger joint. The residents claim it is a better and cheaper version of In-and-Out, and that is not the case. First, their "cheap burger" comes with a patty, cheese, ketchup, and mustard. That is why it is cheap. If you want something closer to an In-and-Out burger, you need to get the deluxe. Now, it is a pretty good burger, but nothing to seriously rave about. Also, you must pay extra for condiments added to your burger like Ketchup, Mustard, and Onion. Their fries are soft and I do like crispy fries. However, this is a good option for a quick good tasting burger.

Fair to say that this is probably as close as you get to an In-n-Out experience in Seattle. Their fries are consistently excellent and I love their shakes. Without a doubt, the best place for the worst kind of food. A local legend (which makes it immune to proper criticism), the unfortunately named Dick's (which nonetheless gives rise to innumerable and tirelessly amusing variations on the use of "Dick's") offers wonderfully thick and rich milkshakes, sublime French fries, and gloriously cheap meat-disks - uh, hamburgers. Even better, they began accepting debit and credit as payment just a few years ago, making your trip to Clogged Artery World just that much more expeditious. The staff are cordial and efficient, and it's quite delightful that Dick's helps pay student tuitions. (Post-script: read my review of Katsu Burger, and why I have once again given up meat. Thank goodness.)

I like the fries -- they're not the double-fried, super hard fries of McDonalds, but more of the single-fried, more tender fries of In-N-Out. There is a U-shaped parking lot here, but most of the spots were taken. There aren't any seats. I like this place for what it is (a quick bite of greasy food) but I don't quite think that it stands out in my mind. I would only come back if friends or visitors wanted to drop by.

This is the in-n-out of the northwest. Burger was amazing. No specials orders, you get the burger the same way everyone else does and it taste great. Still lost on the starter sauce and fries combo

Based off a business model of no modifications to the menu items it may not appeal to some but this is traditional Seattle fast food always done the same with quality standards and they treat their employees fair. With benefits and many programs to help them. Amazing business.

Simple drive in burgers. This place has managed to stay open in a saturated market with a bare minimum of menu options. Believe me, they are good burgers! The rest of the menu is classic drive in food- shakes, fries etc. All very good and very cheap.

Long line up but it went fairly quickly. The milkshakes and French fries were fantastic, the burgers are good but not up to the others. Great for a late night stop. Will go again as the stuff is super cheap and delicious, 10/10 recommended

Iconic Seattle drive-in has been around for over 60 years, best known for their hand-cut French fries, burgers, and shakes. The no non-sense, no substitutions or changes, approach has allowed them to only have to raise prices six times in the last 50 years! BETTER THAN IN AND OUT, WHATTABURGER, or anywhere else!

My favourite burger place in America. Simple, cheap old fashioned smash burgers and shakes. Unparalleled treatment of staff, pay their folks a living wage and only promote internally. They offer staff PTO for volunteer work. Very cool place. Great food. Can't recommend enough.

I heard this was a Seattle locals favorite so we had to try it! It was great! Also, if you think "well it is not that far. I can walk" from Pike Place those hills will work off the burger plus a shake! But seriously, get a Lyft. You can walk it, but do not want to walk it. Seattle is hilly.
